Danny Phantom and the Riordanverse
I have some thoughts about a Shared World kind of crossover between Danny Phantom and Percy Jackson & the Olympians. I haven’t done a full rewatch of DP in ages, nor have a read outside the core 5 PJO books, the HOO books, the Kane Chronicles, Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, and about 2 and a half of the Trials of Apollo books, also been a while. Apologies for any inaccuracies but hey, fanon.
A Glitch In Time canonizes that the Infinite Realms and Material World were once one and the same, but a global war - waged by people who were naturally half ghost the way Danny and Vlad are - split the world in 2. All things regarding Pariah Dark, I’d say he was one of the major powers in this war.
Realms can range from a 10x10x10 room to entire islands with their own celestial bodies like Dora’s kingdom and its sun. Technically we don’t know if the Far Frozen even has an End Point. Doors can lead to alternate timelines; Desiree, Ghost Writer and Clockwork are all able to warp reality, time included, and the Observant Council perceive time in at least 2 dimensions.
In the Riordanverse it is revealed in the few books of the Trials of Apollo that I read and remember that mortal belief from even a relatively small cult can elevate a mortal man to immortal status a la monsters and Gods. Apollo even muses about the way the Gods don’t want to acknowledge how dependent on mortals remembering them they are.
All of this considered, if you want DP to exist in the Riodanverse and even keep the lore of both, then the Realms/Planes/Worlds of the Gods - of Hellas, Kemet, the Æsir and Vanir, the Heavenly Beauracracy, etcetera - are Realms connected to the Spirit World but managed to remain intersected with the Material World through the efforts of the Gods and the memories of Mortals.
The Duat could even be a layer of the Infinite Realms, frankly.
Danny states that his accident was a month ago as of Episode 1, Mystery Meat, which is set April 3rd, 2004. Based on the few concrete date indicators we get in Danny Phantom, the series takes place over 3 years. 4 if you count Claw of the Wild, but that means the trio stays Tiny all the way into Senior Year lol.
Prisoners of Love begins on May 18th, Fright Knight is a Halloween episode, and in Lucky in Love, they’re at a waterpark, which only open in May at the earliest. The Fright Before Christmas is obviously set before and during Christmas and then Reality Trip is set at the beginning of Summer 2006.
In Urban Jungle, Tucker remarks that it’s 90 degrees outside, which means it’s either late May or early June since I do believe they Are in school at that point and iirc global warming hadn’t made it 90 in the midwest early in 2006. Claw of the Wild is an odd camping episode featuring Danny’s class, and I forget in episode details so if this was during school time it had to be during the spring since, again, they live relatively close to the Great Lakes, so it’s gotta be during a naturally warm time. A Glitch In Time, therefore, is set in late spring or early summer of 2008.
Percy Jackson is 12 at the beginning of The Lightning Thief & 13 at the end Iirc since his birthday is August 12th. Either way, this is in 2005. Sea of Monsters and Titan’s Curse are both set during 2006; Battle of the Labyrinth is in 2007, and iirc The Last Olympian is set next year during 2008 and Percy is 16.
Thereby when the Heroes of Olympus books begin in 2008-2009, Danny is 18 and either a senior or highschool graduate. This is a hilarious point in time for Percy to meet Danny, actually, or any of our protagonist crew, if you want to maintain canon for both.
I know most people don’t, in fact, care to keep up DP canon nearly this rigidly, so some other fun thoughts.
In Reality Trip, Freakshow acquires the Reality Gauntlet, and begins the summer (as this begins on a last day of school event I’d say probably even on the Solstice) of 2006 with a reality warping bang. Once he gets the gems, Freakshow transforms the whole world into his circus, until Danny tricks him and gets the glove back, fixing reality to exactly how it was before the change, wiping his identity from the memories of everyone save Tuck, Sam, & Jazz, and then destroyed the Reality Gauntlet in a single shot.
This, I imagine, would grab the attention of The Gods. That’s if the Pariah Dark situation didn’t register to them, even. Considering Percy is 13 at the time and due to deal with the Sea of Monsters situation, the Kane siblings haven’t been recruited yet (I think) and Magnus is still just a homeless kid in Boston, I dunno if anyone from New Rome would be sent but the Gods of various pantheons may investigate directly or through minor gods/spirits.
The House of Life certainly wouldn’t approve of the Ghost Portals, Vlad, or possibly even Danny. Hell, Luke might actually be sent to recruit Danny or Vlad to the Titan’s cause now that I think about it.
With the fact that Danny, Vlad, and Dan were destroying other timelines while smashing into them from sheer speed through the Spirit World during A Glitch In Time, I’d say Danny is at least a 6D being (existing in at least 4 dimensions of space and 2 of time.) If that doesn’t count him as a God, idk what would. Also during Infinite Realms, Vlad and Danny time travel to both ancient Rome during an event in the colosseum and ancient China at a monetary. If these are the same universe as Danny’s, then he and Vlad should have a myth or two regarding one another, which would also put them on the watch list for Olympus and the Bureaucracy of Heaven.
But hey, what do you think? I’m open to talk about this and wanna hear other people’s thoughts and opinions.

Serbia’s “Mozaik” satellite to observe the sun
Serbia is set to send its first satellite into orbit and join 106 countries with space programmes, Serbian media reported.
A space satellite with the working name Mozaik is to be the first scientific apparatus Serbia plans to put into earth orbit, Milan Stojanovic, a researcher at the Belgrade Astronomical Observatory, said.
The satellite will study the sun’s radiation in the X-ray range. In addition, Mozaic will be equipped with a special camera, with the help of which it will be possible to observe the territory of Serbia from space.
The parallel goal of the mission is to study and master technologies from the procurement of satellite components to the launch of the vehicle into space. At the moment, it is not known which of the space powers’ launch vehicles the Serbian specialists plan to use to put Mozaic into the earth’s orbit.
According to Stojanovic, another goal of the mission is to gain experience in the entire process of creating satellite technologies, from the purchase of components to the launch itself. This experience will lay the groundwork for future, larger-scale projects, he said.
The Mozaic satellite belongs to a class of small satellites known as CubeSats, measuring 10x10x10 centimetres. These nanosatellites consist of three cubes that can be combined into a single vehicle.
The Serbian Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation is the main financial sponsor of the project, with additional support provided by Serbian experts abroad.

So, how's everyone else doing with Tears of the Kingdom?
As of posting this, I have completed 94 shrines, lit 63 lightroots, collected 193 Korok seeds and counting... Got freaked out and then intrigued by the Depths, got even more freaked out by evil gooey hands, found the Master Sword early before doing of the Temples, did dragon tours through the sky, cried for a dragon, lost count how many side quests and side adventures I have finished thanks to my hoarding habits, got a holiday house, getting headaches over the lore implications, procastinating and getting distracted by everything and everyone in this three tier land of Hyrule and....only completed two Temples so far.
It's....it's a lot. Just as I thought Breath of the Wild was big and distracting. Tears of the Kingdom is even more so...like 10x10x10.
I freaking love this game so much. It made me re-experience that same feeling of exploring and wonder that I had when I first got Breath of the Wild.

my dream mc modpack is i think
create and tinkers. disable slime islands.
massively nerf storage. the player's inventory and backpacks stay the same, but otherwise 1 m^2 is a max of 10 item types and 64 items total.
in exchange for that, it's easy to make multi block storage or to unify multiple storage blocks into one interface like ae2. By the early midgame "ah, I need more cobblestone, let me add another cobblestone warehouse" is easy.
you CANNOT void items. If an item would despawn, it places itself on the ground if it can. If it's not a block, it places a "refuse layer" that stack up and form piles. and if it can't find a valid placement location then the chunk starts dealing damage ticks to you because fuck you! don't try and cheat my system
whenever possible, gathering items should impact the world. mining requires leaving mines and spoil tips, forestry and farming require space, industrial processes are larger and get larger the higher tech they are. Solar power takes up actual space, no "tier 5 draconic solar panel" shit. (When possible this isn't just "10x10x10 multiblock" it's a series of machines that need to work together.)
uneven resource distribution, you have to go different places for different ores, i love when modpacks do this
There's an early item called the drafting table that lets you enter into spectator mode with copy/paste and worldedit features within a range around the drafting table. Inventories linked to the drafting table get used by construction bots to construct and deconstruct. Expanding the range and capabilities of your drafting table is an important part of the mod. To get you started it has an inventory the size of 10 double chests, but you can't place two drafting tables within range of one another.
Construction bots can mine natural blocks but they can't collect them, to 1) encourage actual mining solutions and 2) let you build underground bases without creating tons of spoil.
Chisel mod but more. Most decorative blocks are unified into 20 'structural base' blocks that can be stonecuttered into a variety of decorative blocks. So e.g. you automate 'wooden structure block' which can be stonecut (in the drafting table ui this is a radial menu or something) into logs, stripped, planks, slabs, various 'chisel' textures all at a 1-1 ratio. When mined, they drop as 'x structure block', preventing you from needing to micromanage which building blocks you have enough of. eg you don't say 'shit i need more mossy bricks', you say 'i need more stone structural blocks' which means bigger factory, not crafting montage.
easy and convenient wireless redstone and wireless storage info, but no ender chest stuff. data is easy to get from a to b, and materials require infrastructure.
thermal dynamics viaducts are the primary player transportation thing, bc i think they rule extremely hard. lategame transportation is the jump clone ichun mod. and/or getting fired out of artillery. you gotta water bucket clutch tho
none of that 'oh the endgame is making creative items with omega crafting' shit. you launch a rocket into the sun (the joke is that this is the only way to truly void items, so it is the Ultimate Tech) and the credits play. there can be 'postgame' stuff but i hate a modpack that overstays its welcome and makes 100%ing it the only 'winning'.

Wojun (Monster)
Tumblr media
(Common Sloths by IllustratedMenagerie on Deviantart)
(I'm just a lover of speculative evolution, have been since Future is Wild aired while I was 7. Kaimere is one of two current projects I'm keeping up with, and perhaps the more approachable of the two; it's a setting written by artist and writer Keenan Taylor, and presented in a series of youtube videos on the Tales of Kaimere channel, as well as short story collections.
Kaimere is a planet where endemic microorganisms periodically replicate Earth organisms; they then evolve in a separate context from Earth. It's populated by creatures like gigantic megaraptorans, spiny sauropods, and a variety of ground sloths, including the first creatures I'm converting to Pathfinder.)
Also known as the common sloth in certain regions, or Volgarocnus by naturalists, wojun are large omnivorous ground sloths who fill the niche of large, powerful omnivores. They are somewhat slower, mentally and physically, than bears and pigs, but are powerfully built, heavily armored, and especially belligerent, making them able to compete with these animals.
Wojun are natural diggers; they sleep in burrows that can be as much as 50ft into a hill, or diagonally into the earth. This skill is also used to break into the nests of other animals, or the food stores of peoples they live near.
There are two recorded varieties of wojun; the black wojun lives in cooler uplands, and while it's less carnivorous, it's no less aggressive and territorial. The red wojun lives in hot grasslands and is a scavenger and a hunter of small or slow game first and foremost, although they still supplement their diet with roots and seeds.

Because I have ADHD and plenty of other things I should be doing, I spent three days coming up with headcanons about Attack On Titan characters as modern wrestlers instead. Currently making his way to the ring is…
Jean Kirstein
Background
Former indie darling, current WWE top tier guy. People are gagging for Jean to leave WWE and go to AEW, but he likes the money and the cachet where he is.
The Ring General
Jean is the world’s biggest Shawn Michaels mark, and you can fuckin’ tell. (Eren’s secretly a Shawn guy too, but he says he likes Bret Hart better.) Jean does ostentatiously avoid any visual references to Shawn most of the time, but if he has to ad lib in a match, then he’s pulling out a Sweet Chin Music, no question.
Jean wrestles as Kir Sharpe, and he has a vaguely military history themed gimmick. The idea is that he can out-strategise anyone. He often wears an open cropped military drummer jacket to the ring. There’s a bunch of funny photo edits where people have shopped him into Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club and The Black Parade.
Jean’s signature move is the Kir Royale. When he and his opponent are both running the ropes, Jean will flip forward over the top rope, kinda spin on the rope while he’s up there (gymnastics background), and then go back into the ring between the top and middle rope to kick his opponent in the solar plexus.
Jean’s finishing move is Death by 1000 Cuts, or just 1000 Cuts if he’s on a family friendly show. It’s kind of a combo move, like a rapid sequence of smaller strikes. The vibe is if he can hit them all, his opponent is done, but it can also be interrupted fairly easily for maximum tension. He has a taunt for it where he pulls his hands across himself, then down, then in. (Because he has ten fingers, and they’re moving in the X, Y, and Z planes, so it’s 10x10x10 which is 1000, and also his name is Sharpe hence the Cuts, and…)
Jean does have a lot of fans, but he also has a rep for being Everyone’s Second Favourite Wrestler.
Fans really want Jean to tag with Porco for some reason.

10x10x10
ahhh... this was way too difficult @mangacat201! I am much too boring for 10 fandoms so I've been a cheeky bastard and changed it to 5x5x5 👀
"5 characters from 5 different fandoms + 5 tags to pass to"
5 - Penny 40 - The Magicians
He has an attitude, he doesn't take any shit, and he's soft on the inside for the right people. I love that he's so genuine, he's never hiding anything, how he treats you is exactly how he feels about you at the time, no fear.
Tumblr media
4 - Magnus Bane - Shadow Hunters/The Mortal Instruments
Somehow a sassy, powerful warlock but still a little sunshine.
Tumblr media
3 - Gandalf - The Lord of the Rings universe
Gandalf has hidden depths. He's one of the Maiar (functionally immortal) yet pays attention to other folks troubles even though they must seem utterly trivial in the context of a thousand lifetimes. May we all feel so engaged with the lives around us, and use our powers for good.
Tumblr media
2 Lan Wanji - The Untamed/Mo dao zu shi
He's so powerful, but so aloof and repressed. Very hard to get under his skin, but once you're there he's going to give everything he has for you. Enemy or lover, he'll fuck you up.
Tumblr media
1 Kang Yohan - The Devil Judge
The power. The intelligence. The influence. The arrogance. The threat. The absolute squishy brokenness in the middle. I love him so much.
Tumblr media
It's uh... it's possible I have a type.
If you're feeling it, tagging @livingformyotp, @negrowhat, @gaym3bo1, @soglideaway, @callipigio

File: X-Files S2 E2 The Host
SCP#: AHK
Code Name: The Fluke Man
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-AHK is locked within a 10x10x10 meter water tank withing the open research area of one of the middle floors of Site-AF. around the water tank is a walk area where Foundation security guard the area to prevent SCP-AHK form escaping. A three-unit team form Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 "Nine-Tailed Fox" watches over the security and act as a last defense against SCP-AHK should it somehow overpower security.
SCP-AHK is to be feed the remains of D Class were killed by physical means. All corpses used to feed SCP-AHK are to be examined and recorded for any anomalous deaths and the possibility of being exposed to anomalous elements or radiation. This is to prevent SCP-AHK from feeding on anomalously mutated meat which could make it stronger or kill it, neither is a wanted outcome.
In the event of a containment breach the tank SCP-AHK is contained in will be lowered into a hidden containment bunker underneath. Afterwards a metal cover will close over the water thank which is made with Insolubilis-chartaium but coated with Plumanium that has been mixed with Singularity Carbon. This combination prevents all kinds of physical, projectile, energy, metaphysical, and even dimensional warping means from breaching SCP-AHK's containment.
Description: SCP-AHK is a mutant creature created form a fluke worm having mutated after feeding on human blood exposed to mutagenic chemicals and radiation within the sewers. This combination of all these elements has led to SCP-AHK becoming a humanoid pale monster that desires to bite and drain a portion of the blood of whatever it comes across within the sewers it lived in. The details of SCP-AHK's origin are iffy to stay the least as there is no record of it happening or even when it happened.
What is known is that just like its progenitor species, SCP-AHK is extremely parasitic and will find any kind of host it can to spread its kind. Once SCP-AHK finds a host, who can be quite literally anyone it comes across, it will bite them in the back directly along the spine and inject them with the eggs of a fluke worm. These eggs will grow into large fluke worm parasites that will ravage and devour everything inside the host, killing them painful by internal damage.
Unfortunately like the average Fluke Worm SCP-AHK is a Level 5 Regenerator and thus can survive even having its head torn off. The Foundation learned this the hard way when it was discovered in 1994 after a series of mysterious deaths related to the sewers. This unfortunately led to not only Person of Interest: Fox Mulder discovering SCP-AHK but making it public for everyone. Later the FBI tried to take it into the custody of The FBI: Unusual Incidents Unit but they were attacked by an unknown hostile who not only killed them all but helped SCP-AHK get back into the sewers.
It was originally suspected to be the work of Group of Interest: The Serpents Hand but even they aren't that reckless. Regardless, it went back to the sewers where Fox Mulder "Killed" it by cutting the monster in two. However, this only succeeded in splitting the creature into two different selves. Mobile Task Force Zeta-9 "Mole Rats" was deployed into the sewers where SCP-AHK frequently visited and were able to capture both instances easily. One instance of SCP-AHK was destroyed via incineration and the other was transported to Site-AF.
Afterwards agents of Mobile Task Force Dionysus-1 "Fake News" was assigned to making all the exposed information about SCP-AHK seem like promotional material for a new horror movie that will never get released. Though they also made sure to provide fake pictures to other news outlets but have them easily exposed as photoshop. This was done to further inject doubt into the public about it even being real to begin with. Though as usual Person of Interest: Fox Mulder is annoyingly stubborn and continues to search for the anomalous. The FBI: Unusual Incidents Unit has been ordered to keep an eye on him whenever possible.

You do have an announcement we do and they always put you do when we're saying we. It's annoying. There are a lot of people who receive the report about what's down there they don't like it and they're upset sit here abusive losers have idiots above and below making it last difficult and they're already impossible so they are on the war path so to speak to try and find solutions and they can't seem to figure it out what they found below is very interesting and conclusive
Very conclusive Hera ads
+they're a huge huge amounts of Max they said and the morlock is threatening to get it out I'm actually ready not to and after a while we said screw you both but really the warlock found giant numbers of them and they found basis and bunkers and yes something to do there and you can see that Jenna had to take over and she is organizing and she's getting people to sign on and she is telling them to ignore these losers who are working for them because they can't keep their own head straight and it's true in many cases you would not want to do anything like what they want they're sacrificing their own and they don't have any real concrete reason that they can get away with it.
-and he is a dunce he says it's covered and he's getting rid of people of his for real son doesn't care a ton because they're in this way of having a half decent life and he's doing other things and BJ's in that case he is a nutcase this guy and Trump is a nut case they're insane and their little dogs and they're horrible they need to be cut loose ages ago and of course okay the max are wondering what we're going to do without the idiots
-and the idiots have the information and minority more locks are getting it and they're going to try and use it and foreigners see it most of it no they're like 10 to 15% of the information as to what's below right here in Florida and the morlock only have about 40% of the information and who cares if you have it or not you don't do anything after a few weeks you forget I mean that's ridiculous s*** you people are freaking stone cold dead
-they said 10 bases that are 20x30 x30 and 20 bases that are 10x10x10 MI that's huge folks we have a problem
Add in the 60% they missed if you want to or not it doesn't matter what's down there it's really bad and they're at the diamonds which are spheres which are just as powerful as the ones off in the Zealand each one to one and people will get it from this and wi'll have to verify

NASA currently is working with several commercial companies as part of the agency’s VADR (Venture-Class Acquisition of Dedicated and Rideshare) launch services contract, providing new opportunities for science, and technology payloads. These include: ABL Space Systems of El Segundo, California Astra Space Inc. of Alameda, California Blue Origin Florida, LLC of Merritt Island, Florida Firefly Space Transport Services of Cedar Park, Texas L2 Solutions DBA SEOPS, LLC of Houston, Texas Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation of Chandler, Arizona Phantom Space Corporation of Tucson, Arizona Relativity Space Inc. of Long Beach, California Rocket Lab USA Inc. of Long Beach, California SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies Corp.) of Hawthorne, California United Launch Services LLC of Centennial, Colorado Building on NASA’s previous procurement efforts to foster development of a growing U.S. commercial launch market, VADR provides Federal Aviation Administration -licensed commercial launch services for payloads that can tolerate higher risk. By using a lower level of mission assurance, and commercial best practices for launching rockets, these highly flexible contracts help broaden access to space through lower launch costs. Awards Update Task orders under the VADR contract include launch services for several small satellite missions. CubeSats are a class of nanosatellites that use a standard size and form factor. The standard CubeSat size uses a “one unit” or “1U” measuring 10x10x10 centimeters and is extendable to larger sizes; 1.5, 2, 3, 6, and even 12U. A CubeSat typically weighs less than 2 kilogram (4.4 pounds) per unit. Given the standardized size of these payloads and the ability to launch as a rideshare, rockets and launch dates are subject to change for these missions by the launch provider. This flexibility is one of the reasons NASA can cost-efficiently secure launch services for these small satellites. NASA awarded L2 Solutions DBA SEOPS, LLC a task order to secure the launch of two 6U CubeSats for the agency’s Ames Research Center in California’s Silicon Valley as part of the agency’s Pathfinder Technology Demonstrator (PTD) series of missions. The demonstration flight tests the operation of a variety of novel CubeSat technologies in low Earth orbit, providing significant enhancements to the performance of these small and effective spacecraft. Over the course of multiple planned PTD missions, the successful demonstration of new subsystem technologies will increase small spacecraft capabilities, enabling direct infusion into a wider range of future science, and exploration missions. The two nanosatellites, PTD-4 and PTD-R, will launch on SpaceX’s Transporter-11 mission out of Vandenberg Space Force Base in Lompoc, California. NASA awarded SpaceX a task order to launch Dione under the agency’s CubeSat Launch Initiative. The 6U CubeSat from Goddard Spaceflight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, will quantify how Earth’s ionosphere and thermosphere respond to electromagnetic and kinetic energy inputs from the magnetosphere. The mission is a collaboration with Catholic University of America, Utah State University, and Virginia Tech. NASA’s Science Mission Directorate Heliophysics Division is funding this effort. Dione is targeted to launch no earlier than mid-2024. NASA awarded SpaceX a task order to launch ARCSTONE under the agency’s CubeSat Launch Initiative. The 6U CubeSat, built at NASA’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia, will carry a spectrometer to low Earth orbit to establish a lunar calibration standard that will improve weather and climate sensors. ARCSTONE will use the Moon’s spectral reflectance for Earth science observations and is targeted to launch no earlier than mid-2025. NASA awarded SpaceX a task order for the launch of TSIS-2 (Total and Spectral Solar Irradiance Sensor-2). TSIS-2 will measure the Sun’s energy input to Earth. Since 1978, various satellites have measured the Sun’s brightness above Earth’s atmosphere. TSIS-2 will add solar irradiance measurements. Unlike its predecessor TSIS-1, which operates from the International Space Station, TSIS-2 will ride on a free-flying spacecraft. Managed by NASA Goddard, TSIS-2 has instruments from the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado, Boulder. A launch date is under review.
