Is that Tetris on the tv?
Very close! It’s actually Dr. Mario
Extremely good game, I highly recommend it!
Essentially your given these colored pills and your objective is to kill all the viruses on your screen by matching the colors of the pills with the virus to create a line of 4 or more. (I.e. red viruses are killed by red pills, so you need 3 pieces or more of red pills to kill it and same applies for yellow and blue)
This game is very nostalgic for me, and I love it!

And now I got the theory that maybe the contestant is either Stan Ellie or his child. wouldn't that be fun? the son or daughter of the old CEO returning to Frankie's Parkour Palace after years of being away. That would explain a few things…

I just pulled off, the wildest move, In Baldur's Gate 3, EVER. This just cements my belief that Astarion is the most OP character in my squad. Hands down, I'm not lying. Bro is carrying my mismanaged team.
But let me start from the beginning. I was doing quests. And it just so happened that I needed to slay some goblin leaders. And me, not liking combat that I know for sure I would lose, and liking to oppose every instruction given, I had to find a roundabout way of killing them.
So i stealth the first one, the second one I needed to keep alive, but that I mostly did normal combat style, since there weren't too many enemies, and I had a fun strategy (Tav, Astarion, Gale as backup and Karlach, as what I like to call the strong characters, the meat shield). Then came... the one. That one bastard that aggros the whole damn goblin settlement.
After a long, long hours of, trying to first use void bulbs to suck him into a hole in the ground, I dropped off some loot to other characters, grabbed some explosive barrels from another room, painfully slowly dragged them over and set them around, then climbed back to the rafters and finally blew him up and teleported away before they could aggro on me. And it worked.
But, people who play this game, from what I've seen, know this tactic. It's standard, so that's not the crazy part. It's what happens after
Because you see... I forgot that I left the druid that I needed there. In the basement. With a horde of angry goblins waiting for me. (No seriously, who made that ruins? Who made the goblins so hard to beat? I'M ON NORMAL DIFFICULTY DAMMIT-)
Anyway, yeah, I kinda had to get back in. But you know, I'm not fighting all of them, because it's not fun (I'll get their asses once my party has higher level, you'll see…) Thankfully, I quite like stealth, so that would be fun! And fun it was! (And I don't feel bad about save scumming. They gave me the save button, so I will use it!) I made Shadowheart give Astarion a bonus sneak buff and sent my boy off. Also thankfully, my perfectionist collector brain made me explore most of the place, so I knew how to get around. I question how the goblins didn't hear the grown man jump down with the loudest thud known to man, but I'll take it. Eventually he ended up over the main door, so I went in... ... Yes, I opened the door from above. Game logic lol-
The real fun began inside. Because it was literally Astarion walking in, and every goblin in a nine-mile radius collectively turning their heads at the same time. I'm sorry, my boy, but I think there was no sneaking out of this one... But you underestimate how much I didn't want to deal with combat and sneaking the whole party past too, so I made him run for it-
Normally, he wouldn't get there. I ran out of potions at the end, and one hit, and he would be d.e.d. But you see, while exploring while the goblins were still calm, I found ~a secret tunnel~ So there was a horde of goblins, and Astarion was just dashing and dodging while chugging down health potions. He was LITERALLY ONE HIT POINT from dying :p But he made it! It looked comical, and he was pissed that he was hurt, but Astarion, your deeds will never be forgotten. Without you, my team would be a bit more crap than it is now. You carry everyone's dumb asses.
I imagine he came back looking like those Minecraft players full of arrows. I healed him, but my game might have glitched, and so he's now just permanently stuck in the pained pose. We understand Astarion, you break your back for us.
I let him carry all the party's gold from now on.

So, how's everyone else doing with Tears of the Kingdom?
As of posting this, I have completed 94 shrines, lit 63 lightroots, collected 193 Korok seeds and counting... Got freaked out and then intrigued by the Depths, got even more freaked out by evil gooey hands, found the Master Sword early before doing of the Temples, did dragon tours through the sky, cried for a dragon, lost count how many side quests and side adventures I have finished thanks to my hoarding habits, got a holiday house, getting headaches over the lore implications, procastinating and getting distracted by everything and everyone in this three tier land of Hyrule and....only completed two Temples so far.
It's....it's a lot. Just as I thought Breath of the Wild was big and distracting. Tears of the Kingdom is even more so...like 10x10x10.
I freaking love this game so much. It made me re-experience that same feeling of exploring and wonder that I had when I first got Breath of the Wild.
#tears of the kingdom#legend of zelda#totk#i freaking love this game#there is just so much to do - to explore - to collect - and to cry about#;w;#also majority of those 150+ hours was from that week after release when I got sick with the flu#it helped getting through the flu a bit more bearable#i have a lot of headcanons and ideas that I want to turn into comics soon....once I got off from this game and find time to actually do it

Just played some Baldur's Gate 3
I have to admit, I thought that this type of game, despite me really being into DnD, wouldn't be to my tastes. The thing Is, I feel intimidated by games that require you to keep track of a lot of things.
And I've been watching videos about Baldur's Gate and the like for a while. Yes, the combat was what was mostly putting me off the game. I still remember that one cheese trap guy from YouTube...
But surprise, surprise, I had a blast playing the first part of the game. Unfortunately, I only got to the Emerald Grove since other duties called.
But this game is everything I could've asked for. I only have myself to blame for not trying this genre before. The choices, the exploration, even the dice rolls, it just brings out joy in me. Especially since the dice were on my side. Combat is okay I guess, I'm more of a story person, but honestly, eldritch blast makes up for it all.
Yeah, I made my character a Warlock Drow. Yes, they are all edgy, and I love them. Named them M'Ikara. It comes from my days of non-stop playing oblivion. It was supposed to be a khajiit name, buy ended up playing a dark elf, so now my signature is a dark elf with white hair named M'Ikara.
Em, went on a tangent here. Point is, everyone else, there's a strategy, M'Ikara tho, ELDRITCH BLAST. Astarion, also OP from what I've seen. He obliterated that one goblin. Never in my life would've expected to have fun with this type of combat, but once I got the hang of it, it couldn't have been any easier (watch me saying that coming to bite me back on e I get into the late game)
Graphics are... Both beautiful and gross. I lean so far back in my chair at the first cutscene. My fear of bugs didn't help at all. Sheesh...
And I finally see what the hype about the characters of this game was. They are absolutely amazing. The actors are something else.
I feel like this game had me already hooked. Especially since the dice gods seem to favour me so far. And being an edge lord Warlock seemed to be an amazing decision too. So far, M'Ikara's class was useful in every encounter.
It really feels like genuine DnD. I never once doubted that the hype around the game was genuine, I just feared that I wouldn't vibe with it. But I did. And I can't wait to eldritch blast more things
Ah yeah, and I love the character creator. The character looks amazing in the cutscenes. I had to go back and recreate them again just so I can properly show them off. I don't know, I know this is an elf and not me, but somehow the character creator let me make something that just feels like me
Um, anyway, just a ramble like always I can already feel that I'll waste sooooooooo many hours on this game
