i'm rewatching princess tutu and realized i never actually went back and watched any after getting into it in middle school, but it's like, THE shoujo of shoujos. everything abt it is so beautifully oldschool shoujo. i remembered duck x fakir endgame4life but forgot that the first time duck sees fakir in a good light is bc he finds her as a duck and carries her into a nice patch of grass and gives her some bread crumbs like "you stupid bird :) you weren't gonna find any food in there". it's literally this tweet with a tsundere boy
