âBut, as it is written, âWhat no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him.â â1 Corinthians 2:9 (ESV)
âBut it is just as the Scriptures say, âWhat God has planned for people who love him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard. It has never even entered our minds!â 1 Corinthians 2:9 (CEV)
âNo, the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of Godâhis plan that was previously hidden, even though he made it for our ultimate glory before the world began. But the rulers of this world have not understood it; if they had, they would not have crucified our glorious Lord. That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, âNo eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him. But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us Godâs deep secrets. No one can know a personâs thoughts except that personâs own spirit, and no one can know Godâs thoughts except Godâs own Spirit. And we have received Godâs Spirit (not the worldâs spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us. When we tell you these things, we do not use words that come from human wisdom. Instead, we speak words given to us by the Spirit, using the Spiritâs words to explain spiritual truths. But people who arenât spiritual canât receive these truths from Godâs Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they canât understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.â â1 Corinthians 2:7-14 (NLT)
âDo You Need an Upgrade?â By Joyce Meyer:
âWe rush to get every new upgrade available for our computer and phone. We spend money, wait in lines, do whatever it takes to have the newest and best. We are very aggressive about having the best equipment available, but are we as aggressive about having the upgraded life Jesus offers us?
The Bible says that the path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter every day (see Proverbs 4:18). This means God is always drawing us toward better and better things. He continually offers upgrades, and we should be determined to have each one of them.
Living the best life God has for you will require some effort on your part. You will need to educate yourself on the life He offers and what it truly means to be born again. As a child of God, you have an inheritance and you have certain rights and privileges, but if you donât know about them, you will never enjoy them. We educate ourselves through Bible study, reading good books about biblical principles, spending time with God, and being in community with other people who are seeking God as we are. We also need a lot of patience because God is usually not in a hurry. He is always working in our lives, but we are not always aware of it.
Simply going to church once a week doesnât necessarily help you attain the upgraded life you desire. It helps, but you will have to also seek God diligently every day of your life, not just once or twice a week. God has provided countless tools for us to help us grow, but we must avail ourselves of them. I want to challenge you to set aside at least 45 minutes to an hour a day and call it your âGod Time.â Make it a goal, and if you need to begin with less time, that is okay because gradually you will desire more. During that time you can study your Bible, talk to God in prayer, listen to a Bible teaching, read a book that will help you understand the Bible better, or simply sit in Godâs presence and receive His love.
If you do this diligently, you will find over time that you have changed and are enjoying yourself and your life much more than ever before. Any good relationship requires time, and your relationship with God is no different. God has so many wonderful things in His plan for you, and during this time you will learn what they are and how to access them. You canât use what you donât know you have! For example, you have a Helper, who is the Holy Spirit, and He is with you all the time.
Anytime you need help with anything, all you need to do is ask. This and many other wonderful things are yours in Christ, so get busy learning about them and start enjoying the upgraded life Jesus died for you to have.
Prayer of the Day: Lord Jesus, I know You have many good things planned for me. Help me be determined to seek the upgraded life You offer. Teach me to use the tools You have provided and to spend time in Your presence every single day. I love You so much, amen.âđ

"THERE'S DANGER IN TWISTING SCRIPTURE!"
Deuteronomy 4:2, âNow listen, Israel, listen carefully to the rules and regulations that I am teaching you to follow so that you may live and enter and take possession of the land that God, the God-of-Your-Fathers, is giving to you. How to Know Your Call to Ministry
How can you know your call to ministry is from the Lord? In the Bible, people such as Samuel (1 Sam 3:4-10) and Isaiah (Isa 6:8) experienced direct, audible calls from God. These instances left no doubt about the divine origin of call to ministry. However, these cases were unique and often accompanied significant shifts in Godâs work in history. Today, God still calls people to ministry, but HeâŠ

Matthew 10:7
As you go, preach, saying: âThe Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.
Note the time the Devil showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the world (Luke 4:5) "in an instant of time" saying that the world has been given over to him and he could give it to whomever he chose, and the Devil chose Christ. The Devil said to Christ, "I will give you all this authority and their glory" (Luke 4:5-8).
Who is the ruler of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4), is it not the Devil (Revelation 12:9)? And what are the inhabitants of the earth saying? Are they not saying that Jesus is God, giving Jesus all his authority and their glory? The Devil wanted Jesus to do an act of worship before him by means of the Devil's image of the heavens (Isaiah 14: 12-14) and earth by giving breath of life to it by means of the fruit of his lips (Hebrews 13:15). But note how Jesus replied when being tempted by the Tempter (Matthew 4:1), "Then Jesus said to him: 'Go away, Satan! For it is written: 'It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service' (Matthew 4:10)." Because it was God at the beginning who created the heavens and earth and said let there be light through His Spirit (Genesis 1: 1-3).
Read one Bible verse or read them all! đđ
1 John 2:16
because everything in the worldâthe desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of oneâs means of lifeâdoes not originate with the Father, but originates with the world
Isaiah 29:13
Jehovah says: âThis people approach me with their mouth And they honor me with their lips, But their heart is far removed from me; And their fear of me is based on commands of men that they have been taught.
1 Thessalonians 3:5
is why, when I could bear it no longer, I sent to learn of your faithfulness, in case somehow the Tempter might have tempted you, and our labor might have turned out to be in vain.
2 Corinthians 11:14
And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps disguising himself as an angel of light.
Revelation 12:12
On this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time.â
2 Corinthians 11:3
But I am afraid that somehow, as the serpent seduced Eve by its cunning, your minds might be corrupted away from the sincerity and the chastity that are due the Christ.
Revelation 13:13

Luke 10:18

"Men and Women in Christ," by Andrew Bartlett
If you are searching for a work that keeps sight of the bigger picture while scrutinizing the debate from every possible angle, then this is the book for you. #MenandWomeninChrist #AndrewBartlett
Men and Women in Christ: Fresh Light from the Biblical Texts, by Andrew Bartlett, London, England: Inter-Varsity Press, 2019. 464 pages. I had already read a number of books that sought to re-read biblical passages that seem to endorse the silencing and subduing of women. What I had come away with so far was the certainty that though scholars may not agree on the details, overall, none of theseâŠ

LIVING FOR HIM
"AND HE [Jesus] DIED FOR ALL, THAT THOSE WHO LIVE SHOULD LIVE NO LONGER FOR THEMSELVES, BUT FOR HIM who died for them and rose again."
2 Corinthians 5:15 (NKJV)
Comment: This passage of the Bible is very important because It is the core of the Christian faith.
When Jesus Christ is accepted as your Lord and Saviour, you are no longer your own; in other words, your life does not belong to you any longer:
7Â FOR NONE OF US LIVES TO HIMSELF, AND NO ONE DIES TO HIMSELF. 8Â FOR IF WE LIVE, WE LIVE TO THE LORD; AND IF WE DIE, WE DIE TO THE LORD. THEREFORE, WHETHER WE LIVE OR DIE, WE ARE THE LORD'S" (Romans 14:7,8 NKJV).
Accepting Jesus as your Lord means accepting Him as your Owner or Master; your allegiance should be to Him and to Him only. This is strange to some people because they do not know the significance and the implication of accepting Jesus Christ as one's Lord and Saviour.
From the moment you declare or pledge your allegiance, loyalty or devotion, to Jesus; your life should be led and guided by His principlesâHis words taught in the Bible: "THAT HE NO LONGER SHOULD LIVE THE REST OF HIS TIME IN THE FLESH FOR THE LUSTS OF MEN, BUT FOR THE WILL OF GOD" (1 Peter 4:2 NKJV).
Unfortunately, many so-called believers, or professed believers, do not understand this; thus, they are not faithful and committed in their relationship with HimâGod.
Jesus Christ actually came to reconcile the mankind with God (2 Corinthians 5:18,19). Your relationship and fellowship with God should take a new turn or look at the moment you declare or pledge your allegiance, loyalty or devotion, to Christ Jesus. Apostle Paul said: "I HAVE BEEN CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST; IT IS NO LONGER I WHO LIVE, BUT CHRIST LIVES IN ME; AND THE LIFE WHICH I NOW LIVE IN THE FLESH I LIVE BY FAITH IN THE SON OF GOD, WHO LOVED ME AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME" (Galatians 2:20 NKJV).
Are you living for Him where you are? Are you not compromising or conceding your stand or faith in God? Remember, you are supposed to be the light wherever you find yourself (Matthew 5:14). Thus, Is your light shining? Are people seeing your good works? And, are they glorifying God the Father in heaven? (Matthew 5:16).
Peace.
