Little obey me headcanons (Pt 1)

(Pt2)

A/n:Just things I think the obey me characters would do/ think/like along with worldbuilding stuff. Nothing too major, but there’s also some suggestive stuff so look out for that. Sorry for not posting in a while school sucks. :(

After seeing all the happy endings in fairytale books and stories or just anything in general, Satan commonly thinks of having a “Happily ever after.” with MC.

While Belphegor, has no ass or tits he does have some cute thighs, when it’s warm in the devildom the chances of you seeing him lounging about the house in booty shorts and thigh highs are up by 70%

The celestial realm and the Devildom are super behind when it comes to technology, while the Devildom is catching up it’s still all over the place, so when MC brings up the moon landings or anything about humans going into space they’re gonna think that you’re joking…..until you show them proof.

“Wow, you really weren’t lying when you said that humans actually made it to the moon.”

“I told you! I’m sure if we get some people who work in NASA down here, we’ll probably be able to go to the moon in the Devildom too.”

“…the fuck is a NASA?”

I’m a firm believer that there is someone out in the human world, wether it be a family member or friend or coworker, SOMEONE was looking for MC when they were first summoned. Argue with me all you want but you will not be able to convince me that one day their boss wasn’t like: “MC hasn’t come into work in like a week.” other people can care about them too >:(

Asmodeus has definitely given some Devildom skincare products to MC. Whether they make you look inhumanly glamorous or burn off half your face is up to you.

There’s BARELY any public transportation in the devildom, no buses, cabs, airplanes or anything like that. You want to get somewhere without driving? Put on some comfortable shoes cause you’re gonna have to WALK.

However Diavolo does send chauffeurs (or carriages if it’s a royal/political event) to nobles and the brothers to get to the castle or if they’re just going somewhere with him. Which is how you guys got to the castle for the 3 day retreat.

You know those pics from hidden paparazzi or fans of celebrity couples out together on a date or walking around holding hands? There’s like a bunch of them with you and the characters in the Devildom. Most common ones to see with you are: Mammon, Beel ,Belphie, Asmo. The ones on the rarer side are: Lucifer, Satan, Diavolo, Simeon, and Solomon. The ultra rare ones are: Barbatos and Leviathan (but both for very separate different reasons)

There’s been a major skyrocket in human attraction, not just in the Devildom but a bit in the Celestial realm too, I guess Simeon was eyeing and twirling his hair at you a little too much for the angels to contain their curiosity. Hehe.

OK MY MISSION IMOPSSIBLE 1-7 RANKING:

7. mission: impossible 2 low hanging fruit i know. look i dont dislike this movie - im a diehard m:i fan, so i like all of them. this movie has its moments, n i rlly like john woo as a director, n i loved the rock climbing scene n knife stunt. the romance rlly brings it down for me tho, felt very shoehorned in there.

6. mission: impossible 3 here bc its better than 2 but not as good as 1. loved that it introduced my goats julia n benji, n i loved the building jump n the running scene. rlly solid movie, only this low bc i like the others more.

5. mission: impossible ik its pretty criminal to have the original at number FIVE, but the next four are just so goated. now obviously this movie is great, its the og. but tbh it doesnt stand out to me as much as the others do, doesnt have as much of a huge action setpiece that we've come to love. plus, modern day tom cruise wouldve done that helicopter in the tunnel bit for real.

now i call this next category the FOUR MOVIE PERFECTION RUN,,, bc thats what it is. every one of these next four are absolutely perfect in my eyes, n i could see any of them being someones number one

4. mission: impossible - ghost protocol perfect. down to the last minute detail. i,,, i mean where do i begin. THE burj khalifa stunt. adding benji to the team permanently. paula patton beating ass. the dude from lost dying like five minutes in. tying up the loose end that is ethan n julia. n ik this is niche but the lil outfit change ethan does when hes leaving the kremlin gets me every time. gosh theres just,,, SO much to love abt this movie idk what more i can say. this one was my mission impossible gateway drug.

3. mission: impossible - dead reckoning ok hear me out HEAR ME OUT. before you get mad. OBJECTIVELY SPEAKING, this is the best one. this is THE best one. but this is my personal ranking. the reason i put rogue nation n fallout over this MASTERPIECE is purely bc of,,, The Thing. yknow. the thing that happens to that one character. that one very beloved character. if youve seen the movie you know what i mean. but if youre not a mission fan, n youre not emotionally attached to these characters like i am, this is the best one. unfortunately, i am very emotionally attached to ethan n his pals.

2. mission: impossible - fallout now,,, what can i say abt fallout that hasnt already been said. its perfection. perfect, down to the last minute detail. the STUNTS. the continuity from rogue nation. introducing alanna n having her stab a man while wearing this GORGEOUS white two piece that i still think abt to this day. bringing back solomon lanes bitch ass. bringing back ILSA who is literally my number one my goat my everything. n tell me how every action setpiece n fight is imbedded with fucking CRACK. the club bathroom fight, the HALO jump, ilsa n benji duking it out w lane in that little shack, ethan n walker duking it out on a cliff, THE WHOLE ASS HELICOPTER SEQUENCE where tom cruise just casually flew a helicopter as one does. n OHMYGOSH THE RUNNING. im a simple man ok i could literally watch nine hours of simon pegg telling tom cruise where to run. oh also the fucking fake out in the beginning w the fucking hospital room n benji impersonating that cnn fellow is literally the most impressive thing in the series to me. i was FLABBERGASTED. ok i know im just rambling n listing things but this movie is just,,, so, so good

1 mission impossible - rogue nation see. im aware that fallout n dead reckoning are objectively better than rogue nation. however,,, nostalgias one HELLUVA drug. this movie came out when my family was moving n i was SUPER emo abt it. but i had been looking forward to this movie for like years at that point n even tho i was going through a tough time i was SO stoked to see rogue nation. n rlly i feel like its the perfect mission impossible movie. luthers back after being absent in ghost protocol. tom cruise holding his breath for six fucking minutes as one does. benji is the damsel in distress. n how could i forget the fact that this movie introduces THE BEST CHARACTER IN THE SERIES??? ilsa my GOAT. notice how the three movies shes in are the top three,,, yeah shes the best written character in the series not to mention shes uh just rlly cool n yeah. this blog proudly promotes ilsa faust supremacy.

it took me a good few days of day dreming about barbs and scrolling through the barbatos tags (and the simeon and solomon tags) to acctually get the motivation for this soooooo here it issss

Part 1 - The Brothers Part 2 - The Angels + Solomon Part 3 - Diavolo + Barbatos

WEE WOO WEE WOO Content Warningggggsss: Darbatos and Diavolo are implied to be dating mc but it CAN be taken as platonic, GN!mc, maybe like a teensy tiny bit suggestive idk i do these before i write the hcs, could be ooc (i've never written for either of them, i dont think so atleast), mention of mamms and asmo but only tiny after thought type stuff i think

the energy is pumpinggggggg and the headcannon drabble things are a flowin'

Barbatos

w/ out mc - does not sleep, will only sleep if diavolo orders him to and if any of you have seen my take on the brothers sleeping he is the same as luci, but instead of the brothers having to be kept in line its the demon prince who does his best to sneak out when he thinks the butlers guard has been lowered enough to do so, other than that i do belive barbatos if tired enough will fall asleep standing continuing to do what ever job he was doing around the castle occsionally finishing all of his tasks whilst alseep (dia and the little d's take bets to see how far through his list barbatos can go before waking up again so far little d no. 2 and diavolo have the most wins) i also think barbatos will sleep walk into diavolos office on ocassion and just stand there like he would if diavolo was having a meeting with lucifer or mephi (i dont know how to spell his name someone help please) also no fan or ac or anything in his room im fairly sure his tail has / would have some form of protective slime kind stuff on it and that drying out would require a few weeks worth (and a couple thousands invested) of lotion applied every few like hours (it'd be like lipbalm or gloss on crusty dry craked up lips)

w/ mc - now with mc and diavolo trying to get him to sleep more often its a much bigger challenge for barbatos to deny going to sleep therefore he goes to sleep more often, with mc around the little d's and diavolo can't make as many bets on barbs work sleep habits so the bets have changed to how long will it take for mc to notice that barbs fell asleep again / how many chores can barbs get through before mc guides him back to his room and takes over barbs creepy standing in dia's office has stopped and been replced with a slight restlessness in his sleep (beware mc for he may kick), and mc better beware of the tail it's 100% getting wrapped around them as they sleep it will be cold it will be slimy it will be slightly gross and it will soak any and all sleep clothes (can't tell me barbs doesn't find enjoyment in feeling how mc jumps as they wake up suddenly due to how cold and wet his tail is 'whats wrong little lamb? did i accidently wake you during your slumber') still no fan or anything by the way not unless you want to be the one applying lotion to his tail every hour (bonus sleepy cuddly barbs like early sunday morning look like shiz and gotta get up but partner is still sleep and gooooodddd they look cute sleeping and don't wanna disturb the peace and then the overgrown toddler with daddy issues barges in asking for breakfast because he was a second late to waking him up saying theres pancakes if he does all his paperwork in which barbs does not remember saying at all (it was all a dream that dia thought was real) and waking mc up, gosh dang it now i gots ideas for another fic from these things)

Diavolo

w/ out mc - another sea creature guess what it isssss, thats right! its a starfishhhhhh, mans has a massive bed cant tell me he doesn't starfish accross it wings out and everything, thinking of wings.... wings can be blankie, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand like beel he. is. a. heater. no need for blankets when have wings and are heater, he snores and sleep talks majority of his sleep talking is telling dream barbs that dream him wasn't trying to escape his duties or saying those really creepy things that alot of people who sleep talk say in their sleep something like idk 'doont go in the closet' and it'd be like right as mammons trying to find secret treasure in the castle and somehow ended up in dias room and is about to open the closet

w/ mc - still sprawled out but don't worry mc he left space for you (in his arms) still a heater be prepared to wear your summer sleep clothes in the middle of winter (or sleep au natural like asmo probably does) he still snores and sleep talks pretty much the same as before also refuses to get up in the morning (mans went to bed late let him sleep in and get his sleepy morning cuddles before barbs comes in and says theres pancakes if he does all his paperwork before 9am the drem stirkes again 'but barbatos i got all my paperwork done before nine and pancakes sound good and the dream felt way too real for it to be just a dream, come on love you had to of heard barbatos say something about breakfast being pancakes today surely' dont break his heart help him gaslight barabtos instead/hj)

is it bad that as much as i like your ocs (theyre amazing, i love them!), i really miss seeing you write for the canon characters

You know, that’s valid. The proportion of Canon and OC content here lately has been way off. It’s sort of the elephant in the room I ignore every time I think about Obey Me and my inspiration automatically focuses on the world building or OC potential instead.

There’s a few reasons why I’ve been less interested in writing canon lately.

1. Disappointment with Nightbringer. I’ll be honest, I’m not sure why this game exists (except to overhaul the franchise’s monetization structure). The premise and lore payoff hasn’t been that great for me personally - it feels more like an AU rather than a canon addition/continuation of the OG game. It feels like we still end up with more loose ends and questions that we don’t have (and may never get) answers for. I’m still waiting for Raphael and Mephisto to be dateable, by the way. As a result, my focus when writing OM content has been using the OG story/characterization using the odd piece from NB that makes sense, and that leads into…

2. My favourite parts of Obey Me are under-developed in canon. I enjoy most of the canon cast, I really do. But I want more Celestial Realm lore, I want more Michael (and not NB HM Lesson 20 Michael), I want more angels in general. They’ve mentioned Uriel a couple times now, give me that angel please and thank you! (No longer relevant, I wrote a version of him myself.)

The world feels so empty at times but there’s so much potential. Parts of the Devildom are more fleshed out with NB adding to it, but what about the other realms? What’s going on with the Sorcerer’s Society and the reapers? I never know if the interesting hints of lore we get are truly relevant or if it’s just something the game decided was convenient for a plot point and never gets mentioned again. NB has been great for Solomon fans since it’s practically a Solomon x MC fanfic written with a forced roommates trope, and that might be the best thing about it from a lore perspective.

My OCs were originally meant to explore gaps in the world and give the canon characters room to grow beyond the one or two defining traits the game keeps repeating over and over. I like writing Mammon when I can have him interact with Karasu, I like imagining the types of angels other exchange students might meet in the Celestial Realm, I like giving a name and personality to the mysterious owner of The Fall where so many events and Devilgram stories take place. Admittedly, it was refreshing to see that other people enjoyed reading about them or imagining them paired with their own MCs/OCs too. I call them the OC Fan Club with genuine affection.

3. It’s not something I talk about often but before I began writing fanfiction, I was mostly focused on concepts or outlines for original stories. Writing supernatural and horror themes always been my interest as a writer so anything with demons/angels/other monstrous races automatically catches my eye.

It’s a little mean to say, but half-baked worlds like the Devildom are a lot of fun to use as a foundation for expanding my own ideas. The OC story I’ve been working on is one way for me to write longer and more complex pieces which is the type I like most. Granted, it includes nearly the entire game cast and it explores the Devildom and Celestial Realm in ways that tie together some of my favourite personal headcanons and characterization. It focuses on angel characters and the history/culture of the Celestial Realm which are two of my main interests for this game. It’s a huge project - the outline is nearly 20k words on its own, it’s practically a novel divided into four sections with 30+ chapters and an epilogue. I can’t even express how excited I am when I get to work on this.

That being said, I do like writing canon content and I’ve been missing it more lately. I got burnt out when it felt like I was losing interest in NB and was pushing myself to keep writing anyway which isn’t great.

Today someone left a nice comment on something I wrote a while back, an angst piece for the demon brothers. I haven’t read it in a while and after going back and re-reading it, I was like, “Huh, I don’t remember liking this as much as I do.” And then I remembered something in my drafts that’s been rotting away, half-edited and ignored, and realized that I wanted to finish it. So, I’ve been slowly tinkering with things while I work on my angels’ story. Some of my plans are ambitious and real life distractions (mostly health related, like my recent bout of COVID) haven’t helped.

If I learned anything about my writing since starting this blog, it’s that:

writing what you’re passionate about is more fulfilling than writing what seems trendy or popular

giving and receiving feedback and fostering friendships/supporting each other keeps the community thriving

self care self care self care

Anyway. My goal has always been to write about the things I love about the game world and the things I create that are inspired by it. It’s a delicate balancing act that I’m still working on.

I am obsessed with the daily chats in Nightbringer, especially Satan's "Surveying Potential Partners" 1-3. It's so cute.

I wanted to write a fic based on them. I hope you enjoy it. :)

Satan's wrath was like a raging fire that burned within him, threatening to break out and destroy anything in its path. That fire followed him wherever he went, suffocating him until he could only feel blind rage.

Although Satan could never completely snuff that flame out, there were times when it'd subside to the point where he could breathe a little—those moments mainly happened when you were around. It was strange, but you were one of the only people unafraid of him whenever he flew into another one of his destructive rampages. You were always patient with him but firm, almost as though you had dealt with this sort of stuff before.

Either way, how you treated him filled him with a new emotion he had never felt before. It wasn't wrath nor the neutral sensation of being 'fine' that he had grown accustomed to. It was a feeling that made Satan long to be near you, think about you every day, and wonder when he’d see you again. He blamed it for forcing him to invite you to the House of Lamentation today.

Right now, you sat in the armchair across from him, drinking a hot cup of your favorite drink. A book laid in your lap. The library was quiet enough that Satan could hear the paper crinkle each time you turned a new page. He had a book and drink of his own, but he could hardly focus on them when you were right there. He tapped the cover of his book while he snuck a few glances your way. 

Before Satan could process what he was doing, he piped up, “Hypothetically speaking, if you could date one of us brothers, who would it be?”

You paused mid-page-turn, and Satan realized the gravity of what he had just said. He tried to hide his burning face behind his book, but that proved to be useless. Your laughter made him peek out to see that familiar smug expression plastered across your face.

“Does it have to be one of your brothers?” you asked, placing your mug and book on the side table.

Huh. You had been spending so much of your time at the House of Lamentation that he had assumed that you were romantically interested in at least one of them. Satan supposed that Simeon lived here, too, so you could be coming over to see him. Then again, you did live with Solomon, and your relationship with that sorcerer was a little…odd. 

You laughed again. Satan shook his head. “Please, don’t tease me like this,” he said.

“Sorry, sorry,” you said, covering up your mouth. You stopped laughing, your subsequent sentence coming off a little more serious. “Are you sure you can handle the answer to that question?”

Satan dug his fingers into his knees. “Yes.”

You sat up straight. “Alright, but can I give you a hint, instead? I’m a little shy.”

You didn’t sound particularly shy to him, but Satan knew that a hint was all he could take. He wasn’t sure if he could handle you saying a name out loud, especially if it was anything other than his name spilling out of your lips. 

"That's fine."

"Okay, let's see…" You tapped the bottom of your lips a couple of times. Satan had to look away. "Well, they're cute."

"That's not particularly descriptive."

"I suppose you're right," you said, "Let me think of another one."

Butterflies fluttered around anxiously in his stomach, and his head buzzed with anticipation. There was a real possibility that you didn't see Satan as a potential romantic partner at all. He wouldn't blame you if that were the case. Even Satan had to admit that his temper tantrums were a significant flaw on his part. Still, even the mere idea of you not liking him back made his heart ache terribly.

"Go on," he said, his leg bouncing up and down. He didn't want to rush you, but you were taking so long. 

"My, my, aren't you anxious?" 

"...A little," he admitted.

You smiled apologetically. "Fine, I'll stop teasing you." You moved to sit a little more comfortably. "Uh, the brother I would date is intelligent…"

So, that took away Mammon and maybe Beelzebub.

"...they're pretty outgoing, in my opinion…"

That left him, Asmodeus, and Lucifer.

Satan tensed up. This was so much worse than he thought it would be. So much worse. He was only a few seconds away from calling the whole thing off. 

"...I would say they are sophisticated when they want to be…"

That only left him and Lucifer.

Please, don't let it be Lucifer. Please, don't let it be Lucifer. Please don't let it be Lucifer. 

Satan was about to combust on the spot. The anxiety welled up in his chest, making it more and more difficult to think rationally. Was this how Leviathan felt all of the time?

"...and they're someone I like to spend time with." You looked him directly in the eye. Satan hoped that you didn't notice him jump. "Even when we're not actively doing anything, just being with them is enough to make me happy."

Satan stared at his hands. The fire inside of him burned with a higher intensity than he was used to, but it wasn't of the same wrath he had always felt. His skin was hot and his head tingled, but it wasn't an unpleasant feeling. Quite the opposite.

"I–" Satan realized that he didn't know what to say. "Thank you. I feel quite relieved."

"Does that answer your question?" You smiled like you weren't the one responsible for his dangerously fast heartbeat. 

Satan chose his words carefully. "Yes, it does," he said quietly.

"Good," you replied, picking up your book and flipping to where you had left off, "I'm glad." 

Satan returned to his own book but still struggled to pay attention, now for an entirely different reason. Giddiness blossomed inside him, and it took everything in his power not to outwardly show it. Although it was only hypothetical, the fact that you would choose him to date out of the rest of his brothers made him feel warm and fuzzy. 

It was him, you would choose him. The weight of your words lifted his spirit, and he found solace in the fact that you saw something in him worth pursuing. As he tried to focus on his book, his mind danced with bliss, cherishing the knowledge that you, above all others, had chosen him.

So lesson 40’s here and season 2’s over huh? Let’s complain about it together

I’m simultaneously dissatisfied and satisfied with S2’s ending. I have negative feelings about the hard mode 40-8 in particular.

I feel like if this is actually the original timeline were back in, the brothers should have had a bigger reaction to MC’s return cuz like didn’t Solomon say that we just up and disappeared at the start of season 1 and the bros were a complete mess?

Makes me feel like something’s up- like the brothers’ perception of time has been altered or messed with in some way.

Initially I thought that Lucifer had seen the way his brothers and himself were suffering and wrought with worry for MC being missing so he asked Barbatos to cast a spell on them to kind of ease that by not making it seem so long that MC’s been gone and make it feel more like only a few days to months (or hell maybe he could’ve learnt to do it himself- this is Lucifer we’re talking about here) but now I’m not so sure and maybe we didn’t actually end up in the correct timeline. Or maybe this is all just nightbringer’s influence (cuz remember they’re all about leading others to happiness or something along those lines)

Either way I’m generally not a fan of it- I wanted that big sappy reunion with over the top dramatics with my favorite demons, damnit! I’ve been robbed!

Also where the fuck did Solomon go? he went through the rift in space time with us so shouldn’t there have at least been a small interaction with him when we arrived at the HOL even if it was along the lines of “oh good we’ve made it back in one piece, I’ll let you go inside and have some time to catch up with the brothers on your own. I’m gonna go debrief with Barbatos” or something?

And then there’s Nightbringer- or more specifically, their lack of presence within Season 2. When was the last time they’d even been mentioned in the story(lesson 21? 22? Were they ever mentioned at all after that?)

I know obvious answer is that Nightbringer=Barbatos (is it just me or was Barbs acting kinda… weird? Throughout the lesson??? He had me feeling like ‘this mf knows we time traveled don’t he?’) but anyway it feels like, for a character the game is literally named for, they’re not very important and front ‘n center…

Maybe S3 will be more focused on Nightbringer and whatever the hell’s going on with that weird ass reception from the brothers we got but for now we’ll just have to wait (I wouldn’t be surprised if solmare made us wait until April when the game hits its one year anniversary for S3 just like it played out in the OG game…)

Also also if the devs don’t hurry up and make 13, mephisto, and raphael dateable in S3 I’m going to riot. Lemme give my pretty wife kisses and take her on cute dates and shit. It’s been like 2 or 3 seasons since she was introduced! Whats the hold up?

My thoughts aren’t coherent anymore so I’ll stop but see y’all in April for Season 3

i answered this question here and talked about sasazuka but i have a million blorbos and i will talk about them endlessly. today i want to talk about solomon from obey me. my silly, ridiculous, shady wizard man. i love him. here is a small collection of some of my fav pics of him (incredibly limited for space).

i do sort of feel like a fake fan bc i didn't actually like solomon all that much when i started playing og. in my early ten pulls i got the solomon new years ur+ card and i just did not like him. i thought he was weird and was irritated i got him instead of a demon brother, so for all of og season 1 and at the beginning of season 2 i disliked him. my memory gets a little blurry here in the timeline, but i think i finished season 2 of og and warmed up to him a tad bit, then nightbringer came out and i became a simp.

my feelings about solomon are complex even to this day. i really find him and his character interesting because of the dubious nature he has. he's this cutesy wizard guy who is a simp for mc, but he's also a very dangerous figure that has waged war against the devildom, is the most powerful human sorcerer in history, and is prone to incredibly selfish bouts of behavior at the expense of others (although, never really at mc's expense). i really really like how he's handled at the end of og season 2, where he's absolutely willing to kill lucifer without much of a second thought to save the realms but cannot bring himself to do something that would upset you. fascinating! i think his character is at its best when it's handled with these multiple layers of nuance.

in terms of headcanons, i have lots, but i'll share three that are currently on my mind:

i am incredibly fond of the headcanon that solomon, in his youth, had a more olive skin tone and dark brown hair that faded over time with his magic and immortality. Ratings are Recommendations for Me

Before we get into why each show got a different score, I think it’s important to explain my ratings system again. I come from the land of media criticism, and the primary question for me is “How easy is this to recommend to people?” I secretly use a five-stars system (5 Great, 1 Terrible) that I simple double for the 10 stars of MDL that basically works as such:

No one should watch this. It is incoherent, poorly made, and offensive.

Only genre fans could appreciate anything happening here, but it’s still offensive and/or poorly made.

Genre fans can appreciate this show, but it has major flaws in execution, narrative, or themes.

Genre fans will love this. Strong execution overall but requires some familiarity to truly appreciate.

Everyone will love this and is a fine entry point for the genre. Excellent execution and strong storytelling.

Bad Buddy is a 9.5 for me because, while it is an excellent project, the episode 12 first half sucks so hard

So why does IFYLITA get a lower score than Lovely Writer?

IFYLITA is a beautiful show with strong performances across the entire cast. However, it is a time travel show in which I don’t exactly know what the point of the time travel is, other than to enable a historical romance and enable the storyteller to play with that setting from the modern perspective. I don’t know why Jom is being dragged around the time stream or why he’s doomed to fall in love with and be torn from Yai repeatedly.

Additionally, this is a slavery romance. I am a Black gay man born and raised in the South. Solomon Northup’s autobiography is required reading, as are other first person accounts of chattel slavery in the US and the way the North surrendered Reconstruction to the South. I also watched Kindred this year after having not read Octavia Butler’s work in a long time. I am not a person who typically enjoys the power dynamics of historical romance, and I really don’t like slavery romances. I was talking with @lurkingshan yesterday about how much I didn’t like Jom and Maey sitting on the floor as Eaeang Phueng says goodbye to her family.

Finally, I think Lovely Writer is more coherent. It’s a single-season story about a potential romance between a BL actor and a BL writer. The show goes on to unpack all of the complexities surrounding these two as they are forced to collaborate and cohabitate during the filming of a show. IFYTLITA muddles its ending, and we have been reliant on spoilers from book readers to make sense of what the hell happened at the end of the episode. I don’t like that. I hate when we’re reliant on commentary from the source media to understand what the hell happened in an adaptation.

So, because of these particular issues, Lovely Writer is slightly easier for me to recommend to people over I Feel You Linger in the Air. Despite how Nonkul and Bright delivered on what may be the most accessible romantic chemistry of the year, and how much I loved the way this show tastefully approached m/m intimacy and sex, the show has some stumbles that I think diminish it slightly. I think episode 11 is incredible. I think Episode 10 is too pat. I think Episode 12 is hedging too much on a potential second season and doesn’t close off season 1 in a way that’s satisfying for me.

These are all bigger or smaller issues than others. I also very, very rarely go back and change my ratings for shows based on modern circumstances. Lovely Writer was special when it released. We don’t get IFYLITA without Lovely Writer. When I finished Lovely Writer, I thought it was one of the best shows of the year and I thought every BL fan needed to watch it. It doesn’t get a 10 because so much of the drama is about BL itself, and so there is some explaining that’s needed for people who aren’t in genre.

So, to be clear:

For me, Lovely Writer is easier to recommend to people than I Feel You Linger in the Air. That’s the .5 difference between them.

After-party, Day 1!

Ugh, sorry, scheduling these is a nightmare

Day 2's content has arrived, and our after-party has begun! And I promised a similar, yet different outing to something I did last year, didn’t I?

Well…I’m ranking cards again.

BUT, this is going to be a bit of a change compared to 2023’s outing. Last year, I went with the entirety of Asmo’s card library and focused exclusively on the art that came on the tin. This year, a change is happening. As of writing this on May 16th, 2024, I have 93% of Nightbringer’s demon cards that include the fifth-born, almost the entire set! If you don’t believe me, here’s my Devilgram page of my collection:

With all Nightmare/event cards in my possession, I wanted to focus on something not many do when it comes to these lovely JPEGs: see how well their Devilgram stories hold up and if they’re a good reward for working your butt off in an event or squeezing every last DP or DV out of you for the gacha. I will be going on about the art as well, but I didn’t fully include it in the ranking because…well…I’ll admit it, picking which one I liked best would be like splitting hairs, almost impossible! Each one has its own perks and pros (and I will highlight that), how could a fan possibly choose?

Now unfortunately, I did say I only had 93% of the collection, 14 of 15 cards, to be exact. That sadly means I will not be taking the Chapter 21-40 UR+, Magic Compact, into account for the rankings. I will certainly make an update when the day comes and I get all those shards. Also, if for some reason we get a new card added before the week is up and I can get my hands on it in time, I’ll be doing a similar update as well.

But, enough wasting time!

#14: A Gift for a Special Day (Birthday ‘23 UR)

I don’t really know how to word this…but I think this is the only Asmodeus card that rubs me the wrong way any time I even THINK about it. The entire thing revolves around you and Asmo going out on the town for his birthday, but he puts on this more suave and sophisticated persona in order for you to “see a different side of him”. I see a different side…and it feels absolutely wrong. I’m not saying I hate that he tries to be cool, the MC being escorted around, getting gifted a dinner outfit, and dancing to the slow notes of a piano, but the entire time it feels like I’m on a date with an alien masquerading as the demon. There’s a dialogue choice at the end that states “I miss the normal you”, and it couldn’t be more true. Later you find out through an unlockable chat that he asked Solomon (who later asks Diavolo) for help…channeling the suaveness of Lucifer.

Now I’ve started to grow on Luci more over the years, but even ignoring that he’s on the lower end of my favorites list, the circumstances surrounding the card did NOT help this statement gain any favor. Already following an event where we nearly lost an Asmo event SSR, this card was the result of them shedding the birthday event system for a year, using him as a guinea pig to test the new card gacha system before Luci’s birthday came a few weeks later, AND eliminating the birthday SSR that EVERY OTHER BROTHER (+ Simeon) got before this, the set still being incomplete to this day! It was arguably the lowest point of Solmare’s ignorance of the fifth (and that’s a WHOLE other can of worms I may dive into one day), and the fact they were pretty trying to package the eldest’s charm in the boy who LITERALLY has a charm power will unfortunately taint this card for me.

However, as I said before, the art on the card isn’t bad, quite good, even. Completing the pajama set of ‘22-23, the bare chest with the robe fits the mood (at least in a vacuum), and the celebration in the DF unlock is perfect for what he deserves ^^

#13: Choosing for You (Sleepwear/Halloween ‘23 SSR)

Now outside of that card, there’s elements to every story from this point that I like. This one…really is the definition of mid for me, though. Revolving around you being the model for nightwear Asmo got sent PR packages of to choose what he wears for a collaboration, the air of the story isn’t very eventful, but quite chill. We do get comments about our own ability to look good in any fashion and found out the demon can use photo shoots in his bathroom as peak procrastination, but outside of that it’s mainly banter between what can constitute as good pajamas and just trying to make a damn decision. And with the gift of said nightwear and a tease of a sleepover after the shoot (one of my favorite tropes ever), this story is what I would hand someone if they wanted bare-basic Asmo vibes in a story.

With the art, they managed to show off sleepwear in a bit better way than Birthday ‘23’s. The initial art showing off the multiple choices he has for you, and the DF unlock once again pulling a skin tease, but showing a lot more of his teasing and sensual nature along with it. Now THIS is the demon I know!

#12: Dancing*Cooking (Anniversary ‘24 UR+)

I am so torn on this card. When it comes to the story, it’s one unexpected for this character, but it really does work. Being in the overarching plot of planning a Devildom-wide party with everyone trying new things, Asmo is the caterer/menu planner and shows so much development in the vein of his consideration of others (wanting to take the entire realm into account when you tell him to do what he thinks is best and later including ALL THREE REALMS in the menu to truly let everyone have a taste of home)…I’m shoving this in anyone’s face when they say he only cares about himself. There are some questionable elements (in the form of being in a dance club with a bunch of pouting fish that we need to fawn over in order to effectively marinate their flesh…no I’m not kidding), but overall real cute.

Why I’m torn is because of the missed opportunities! They had good apron/chocolatier sets from Valentine’s ‘23 they could’ve used at least in passing on the models, and while I know there was a theme with the card stories…both the initial and DF unlock involves marching band outfits. As a former band geek and being in a marching band for 7 years, both the elements of that in the event story and the card images are the ultimate tease, why couldn’t you utilize them more?!

#11: The Magic Music Festival (Birthday ‘24 UR)

I know this is the most recent card (as of writing this), and it honestly hurts that this is still so low. It’s honestly not a bad story in a vacuum: you accompany Asmo on a photoshoot for a brand he’s an ambassador for and you use magic cards to choose a location, eventually ending in an unknown town where fairies and magic instruments (hmm…this sounds a bit familiar) give a spark of inspiration. The problem with it all…it’s good for an Asmo card…but not for an Asmo BIRTHDAY card. There’s very little focus on the fact that it’s his special day outside of the brothers pretty much announcing that they’re making a party for him and they want him out of the house, and while the story is nice and the reason it got as high as it did, it doesn’t really fit the situation much when put under a microscope. I know the story in the revamped birthday event kinda takes care of this, but still…

But what they DON’T slack on? The art in this card, DEAR LORD if I was ranking the art this year it would be in the top 5 BARE MINIMUM. I nearly screamed when I seen the DF unlock and I did NOT stop until I had that card in my hands! The detail with the demon form and kimono-style fusion was absolutely PERFECT! And the card-themed initial? Beautiful as well!

#10: Memories and Pale Shades (Seed SSR)

Now, ignoring the fact that we nearly didn’t get this card at ALL until we protested to the devs (again, another can of worms for another day), this card is another fitting of the word mid, but in a bit of a better way compared to Choosing for You. Instead of being in a setting we’re all used to (Asmo and his influencer nonsense), we’re at a traditional festival, wanting to use the petals of a human world cherry blossom tree to make souvenirs of our memories. Although it takes a while to actually MAKE something outside of the assistance of Solomon, it warms the crafter soul within me to spend some time like this with him. It’s very simplistic, but it’s very warm and cozy at the same time.

And the art fits this just perfectly. Each image, whether with a mitsurashi dango or the falling petals, encapsulates the feeling of the festival perfectly, and lets you ignore the circumstances behind the meta.

#9: Asmo, the Recluse?! (Ch. 1-20 UR+)

Getting into one of the four Nightbringer-exclusive cards, while it doesn’t do what the other two I’m going to talk about will, it is definitely an exploration into the Avatar of Lust…and honestly what he COULD have been. The whole plot revolves around you getting Asmo out of the room he’s holed himself in for multiple days so the others can ask about using his bathroom that Satan wrecked until repair. And while I wouldn’t need a reason if I knew he was hiding in his bedroom to try and find him, when you do get in there…what a sight. If there’s people who complain that Asmo is narcissistic and stuck on himself with what we see right now, show them this story. THIS IS WHAT IT COULD HAVE BEEN. Despite having to take multiple attempts to get him away from a perfume he pretty much hypnotized himself with, it’s hilarious and a great laugh away from the deep themes of NB. And even after coming to his senses, we still get an air of his current levels of egotism, still refusing to give bathroom access no matter what reasoning.

Also, this is him the whole time looking at that mirror. Fight me on this.

The art for this? Actually, it’s very similar to what we see in his initial UR in the OG game…and I love it! A shot of him with makeup in the initial, and a classic tub shot in the DF, how adorable!

#8: Asmo-Chan Overindulges (Fabulicious UR)

Geez I hate the name of that event…but aside from that, this story is really wholesome, in a sense of what the events entail. You’re Asmo’s +1 to a party for Devildom models, and from beginning to end we see how it plays out. I really appreciate some of the dialogue choices in this one, having moments of us feeling shy or out of place in a room full of perfection and Asmo every time pulling us back in and making us feel worthy of being by his side. In addition, a Mammon cameo and a montage of him socializing with other model acquaintances really illustrates how well known he is in this sector. But where there is a party, there is Demonus, and not too long after, a tipsy to wasted demon shows us he can make a fashion show anywhere and that he’s the jealous, emotional type when plastered. And with an ending in a private room to sober up and be intimate with each other, this is a comfort story for me, for sure.

The art definitely goes for the dual sides of his presenting self. The initial with him in a suit and looking confident as hell to the DF unlock showing a more flowing dress with an adorable expression? Best of both worlds!

"I was always scared of hurting people. When you're a Millennium Citizen whose superpower is essentially being a human lie detector, but who also can't tell a lie themselves...well, there's a reason that the old adage goes 'the truth hurts'. I've gotten better at being tactful when it comes to speaking to people. Morgana calls them 'loopholes', but that fear is still there. At the back of my mind...that I'm going to say something so brutally honest, that it'll hurt someone."

2) Do you ever go on passionate rants? If so, what was it about? If not, what would it be about if you did?

"I am a huge Bruce Springsteen fan. If you ever have a few hours free, I'm more than happy to chat about the cultural impact the Boss has had on American culture and society. We can meet at Barb's Diner? I'll buy the coffee. What time will I book us a table for?"

3) What's the biggest obstacle in your life?

"As I mentioned, my powers as a Millennium Citizen. It...uh...yeah...it gets in the way at times. People like the truth as a concept, but not always in reality. It's made me lose a lot of friends over the years, and co-workers. You'd think, working in a Sheriff's Office, that being a human lie detector would be a boon...but...uh....it's not always the case."

TO BE CLEAR, I like Diavolo. Also, 4-8 are all basically tied. Yes, I put Barbatos in position 8 on purpose, yes, I'm aware that was low-hanging fruit. The whole list is also very fluid. Over the course of playing the games and existing in the fan space, Solomon has been my number 3 and my number 12.

ALSO! A lot of this is just "my opinions based on the vibes I get and nothing else". So please don't take anything too seriously. I'm definitely not claiming to have perfect, inarguable takes.

S Tier

These guys are consistently my Boys, my Faves, the ones I Love. I'd marry Mammon. I'd start a cult with Satan. I'd use phrases like "my little meow meow" in service of explaining my feelings for Levi.

1. Mammon

I mean, whenever I think he's not my favorite, he comes back and reminds me that he is, so I might as well just bow to the inevitable. I love a tsundere himbo. He's funny and cute and he makes my heart do the thing. My stone cold frozen aromantic heart.

2. Satan

Ah, my complex relationship with Satan, who is the worst-developed character in the OG but comes careening back into the running with an excellent display of character development in Nightbringer. Satan, for whom I simp, but who is also my feral child. Satan, who is coded autistic entirely unintentionally but whose attempts at being romantic hit me like bricks to the face and I just want him to please stop trying to be flirty and instead talk to me about cats or science or whatever hyperfixation he happens to be focusing on because it's much more attractive. Satan, who, after overblotting on wrath, just kind of passed out instead of going insane like Mammon and Asmo and everybody because he deals with this shit all day every day anyway. Satan, who deserves to be number one on this list because he occupies so much space in my brain but continues to lose out to Mammon because Mammon's blushing feels more sincere.

3. Leviathan

The unexpected addition to this list. I dunno, he's always growing on me. He's so funny. Possibly the funniest character in the game. I love writing him. He's so cute. He's so cringe. I can relate to one of those things. I don't really have any great reasons why I love him so much. I just do. He's so fun. I love his pets. I love that he got the pet show cancelled by summoning Lotan. I love him in the anime cosplaying as Ruri-chan. Actually, yeah, the anime. He got the best rep in the anime to me because he is so cute and funny in that thing.

A Tier

I love them, I will go to bat for them, I will kiss them, I will bring them their lunch if they forgot it at home, I will sing them lullabies, I will kiss their precious cheeks, but I will not marry them. (Edit: I will not marry them, with the exception of Simeon, who I would absolutely marry if he deigned to ask me.)

4. Asmodeus

He's just a fun guy? He's really sweet and caring and somehow doesn't feel like he's actually hitting on me? I've described him in a DM with someone as "your gay best friend who you make out with sometimes" and I seriously do get platonic vibes from him and I'm here for it. I'm here for platonic makeout sessions. As an aro who likes when fictional boys flirt with me sometimes but not too much, he's a very welcome breath of fresh air because his flirting just doesn't feel like it's aimed at anything? He just likes to call you a cutie pie. And I know that none of that makes sense for a character who is the literal avatar of lust, but I'm talking vibes, not reality.

5. Solomon

Solomon can ride this scale from close to the top to rock bottom to be honest. I did not like him during the recent event (Voyages). He just felt creepy to me. And that's where my problems with Solomon lie for the most part. Much like with the Asmo vibes, he just feels creepy to me. I think he's too openly infatuated and too comfortable with that fact for me? Like slow down my guy, I'm here to be jokingly flirted with not asked to cosign a mortgage. But also the panties came OFF for that confrontation with Belphie in the colosseum so congrats on your new placement as number 5. I like a lot of fandom interpretations of him significantly more than canon ones so when I go back to canon I'm always a little like "eughhh what is this?"

6. Simeon

Okay, here are my reasons. 1) He's the most beautiful character. Nobody else even comes close. Don't ask me why, he just is. 2) Plot things that I haven't even gotten to yet but if you know you know. 3) I I like how nonjudgmental he is about literal demons like he just pops in from Heaven like "let's all be friends". What a chill dude. Bonus 4) Luke's dad.

7. Lucifer

First of all, if he ever genuinely hits on me I'm hitting on HIM with pepper spray. Dad, what the fuck? Second, he just loves his brothers so much and works so hard for them and wants so badly to protect them. I admire that. I do not get any genuine chemistry between him and the main character, though that could be my romance-radar malfunctioning as usual, or even just my taste. "That's my dad, I can't marry my dad."

8. Barbatos

Another character in whom I see no chemistry with the main character, but that's okay and I love him anyway. He's number 8 because he loves being number 8. He's the second-prettiest boy after Simeon in my opinion and I like to imagine him being an absolute menace who never sleeps, never bathes, and never uses the bathroom. He has transcended all that. He is the Time Lord.

B Tier

My beloved babies (and drunk uncle)! I have no romantic interest in any of them whatsoever! One because he's an actual child and the others because I just don't. But I love them and I cherish them and I will bring them their lunches if they forgot them at home just as much as I would for tier A.

9. Luke

Yes, he's whiny. Yes, he's kind of weird to even have in the game let alone the intimacy system. No, I have never and will never call him a Chihuahua. I will beat up his bullies, including Lucifer and Mammon. I will file for joint custody with Simeon. He's so flippin' cute.

10. Beelzebub

Another classic good boy. I love him but I don't really see much in him beyond... being a good boy? He's sweet and I would give him so many hugs and he deserves so much love but I can't get over the idea that that head is empty, there is nothing inside but cheeseburgers. And I kind of love that for him.

11. Belphegor

When I first started the game I thought I'd like him best. Turns out I was wrong. Now, I don't hold it against him that he murdered me. Sometimes a demon has just gotta do what a demon's gotta do. He's a little shit, but he also did that thing in the anime where he's Beel's cheerleader while he fails at a video game? And that moment will forever be enshrined in my heart.

I mean look at him??? Holy shit???? Just seeing this image again makes me want to kick him up to number 6 or something.

12. Diavolo

I love my gay drunk uncle as much as the next person but when your gay drunk uncle sometimes hits on you, it's extremely uncomfortable. I'm not like an active Dialuci shipper but I fully support Diavolo's unapologetic simping for his totally platonic right hand man. And then he wants to get in my pants and it's like having ice water dumped down my shirt.

So there you have it! My little ranking and thoughts on each character. I'm curious whether any of this surprises you?

Talkin' bout my april fools-but-not-actually april fools story in full. I'm gonna go through the story and explain some choices I made, as well as lending context to the unused stuff in the previous post. I'll be talking about the second part, mainly cause I don't have much to say about part 1 other than "I enjoyed making it". Let's get started!

Firstly, I wanna mention this second part's inspiration. It was very influential in this part's theme. I ain't saying it because I like leaving unsolved questions, but if you pay attention to the music choices, maybe you'll figure it out?

I had this exact recap gag in my head from the first screenshot to the actual narration. Even the "What's up - Video game - cough cough - (death)" I had thought of far in advance. It's not a super big deal, but it was hella satisfying to get done.

As for Satan himself, I honestly don't have much else to say other than he was super enjoyable to write. Interpretations of the guy have been done to death, but honestly, I think it's because he's just hella fun to write. Writing him completely straightfaced as opposed to Tom being... Tom, was also very enjoyable.

I do wanna clarify something about Satan's character, though: He's not evil. Yes, he's cruel, yes, he revels in suffering, but he only revels in it when terrible people are on the other side of it. On the whole, he just really detests flat-out terrible people. He even has a distaste for the layer of Limbo simply due to the fact that it's used to punish perfectly good people. Maybe I'll make a fuller disclosure on Satan's bio, but that's a grill for another BBQ.

I'm really happy with how pretty this stage turned out. I used to suck real badly at sprite edits, but I think this turned out super well. Years of experience finally matter. I'll hold off on discussion of Groudin for later.

So, the interesting thing about inferna isn't the obvious. That being, they're a demonspawn inferno craft but is rather nice despite still being murderous. Nah, they're actually kind of a leftover of an idea that never reached true power.

Originally, tom was gonna get partner characters throughout the world who would assist him until the end where groudin would kill all of them. The ones pictured here are called "The umpire", and "Fake El Wawi". I tried to visualize how I could fit them into later events I had planned up to their deaths, but I came up short and decided to just stick to inferna. Also making full on sheets for them scared me

Oh, I guess there's this. The little faces to represent Gigan's emotions are carried over from a cancelled NGC remake made by yours truly. The emotions were a mechanic that would tell you how your monster was feelings and do.... things....... yeah it wasnt really a super deep mechanic. at all.

All of the enemies here are Ultrakill references (Solomon's a maurice, Anguirus a husk, Rodan a drone, and Mothra a Mannequin). You could probably tell I was fond of the game from the reference earlier, but I'm still bringing this up.

This is where I bring up groudin. its not super deep commentary here but groudin is basically what happens when you give a fucking idiot a nuclear bomb. groudin literally gets stronger from pure hatred. He was spawned from the essence of Tom being a shitty person and even after Tom dies he will only continue to get stronger because his hatred is stronger than the human soul. even then groudin has become independent of Tom's essence due to being so powerful. i know hes basically rodan.exe but maaaaaaaaaaaaan i had fun with him.

Here's the thing about Tom's deal with Satan I didn't mention: The layer of foolishness never existed. There's a lot of people it could be used for, but why dedicate it to one guy? No, Satan brought this up to Tom beCAUSE he knew this would provoke a reaction. Satan wanted tom to try to weasel his way out of punishment because no matter what, whether tom would succeed or not, he would get punished forever. Even if Tom were to have an epiphany that he's a terrible person, nothing could be done to prevent the punishment that would follow.

All of this is to say, the pasta was truly scary from the start.

by the way two things: the cactus is a reference to buddhist hell, and Tom bringing up his love for eating charcoal was a way to setup the punchline at the end where he's burned by fire that's fueled by clean burning propane. Bwah haha hahahah

If there were a roller coaster named "Twisted Love," you'd need a seatbelt, a helmet, and probably a permission slip from your emotions. Ava Huang, no relation to your blender (I hope), stirs up a potent concoction in this whirlwind of a romance novel that comprises–count them– 43 chapters of "Oh my gosh, did that just happen ?"

The story spotlights Ava Chen, a photography student with a keen eye for drama and Alex Volkow, the best friend of her brother and her knight in damp and stubborn armor. Seriously, their romance kicks off with Ava playing damsel in distress in the rain, only to be saved by Alex.

Cliché ? Yes.

Did I eat it up ? Double yes.

These two are like an onion of emotions - lots of layers and might make you cry. Ava's got a baggage claim's worth of past trauma and an ex-boyfriend who probably never learned the word "no" or "goodbye."

Alex? He's the broody sort, hiding his very own emotional baggage behind that mysterious exterior. (I'd bet if he were real he'd be a softie on the inside, and probably bake cupcakes or something.)

Sparks fly between these two like it's the Fourth of July. It's not all fireworks, though. Their relationship sees more ups and downs than my internet connection on a stormy day. And speaking of stormy… Chapters 19, 22, 24, 26, and 43? They're not weather updates, but you'll need a fan.

Huang, in between the romance and drama, has a checklist of all your favorite romance tropes. Brother's Best Friend? Check. Grumpy meets Sunshine? Check. Interracial romance? Yep. Forced to share the last piece of chocolate (or proximity, whatever)? Check. It's like she raided the romance trope store and thought, "I'll take one of each!"

Now, the pacing is great – though there are times when I wished I could yell, "Calm down !" But hey, that's romance novels for you. And if you're scouting for a quote to slap onto an aesthetically pleasing background and post on Instagram, here's a gem: "You don’t have to work overtime to get people to love you, Ava. Love isn’t earned, it’s given." So deep, it's almost at the Earth's core.

The end of the book? Oh boy, let's just say if you don't grip the edge of your seat, you might fall off. It's dramatic, touching, and everything in between.

To wrap up this twisted little package, "Twisted Love" is like that roller coaster you're a little afraid to get on but can't resist the thrill. Sure, it's part of a series, but it stands strong on it's lonesome. Fans of love, drama, and the occasional eye-roll, this one's for you!

HELLOWEEN #1: RANAMAH

...Ah, so I must explain, firstly. The entries which I will start off each profile usually come from The Second Testament Of Faustus, though the real name of the tome iis significantly longer and more pompous, akin to your Lesser Key of Solomon but more extensive and on the nature of far lesser demons. 

I was pleasantly surprised to come across a book from the mundane side chronicling the mundane citizenry of hell, though it was near the end of my research so I could not speak with the citizens of the place of its accuracy.

Ranamah was... well, she is mainly a lookout of the streets of hell, a buyer and seller of information. She seemed very... well "humble" is the wrong word, "beaten-down" might be perhaps more accurate. Her life did not seem particularly pleasant, even with the importance of her trade in a place where backstabbing is as much currency as gold or phosphorus.

She was surprisingly pleasant for a demon, I will say. She did require payment to continue speaking to her, even in capacities beyond her informational gathering, but that greed was downright restrained by the standards of her peers, even if she did at one point try to ask if I had any spare organs. Being a living book, I half-truthed and said no, and she appeared to drop the manner thankfully.

The designation of "Dutchess," by the by, does not mean particularly much in Hell. All demons have titles of nobility, no matter how lowly or mean their existence in Hell is, as a matter of pride. They think it is better to reign in hell I suppose, even if it is simply over their empire of dirt...

Obey me brothers/dateables and Luke meet Cereza

(Basically, while venturing in the avalon forest, Cereza fell into a portal and landed in devildom. No mc, just cereza being taken care of)

Lucfer:

-Confused. How did a mortal child end up here?

-What really caught him off guard was that this child seemed powerful, but didn't seem to unlock her true abilities.

-Learns that she was a witch in training and that her name was Cereza.

-Avalon forest? Inferno? He never heard about those places. Faeries ane monsterous looking demons?

-Learns that Cereza wants to save her mother and Lucifer respects that, but is a little doubtful of the 10 year old.

-Him and lord diavolo decide to let her stay for a while so she could get stronger and maybe even tell them about this witch clan and the rest.

-'Why is your cat dolls eyes glowing'

-He doesn't like Chesire.

-Reminds Cereza of Morgana. Cold, but wants the best for everyone

Mammon:

-Oh hell no

-Not only is he assigned to look after a child, but a witch in training no less

-Alright, who sent you here to collect something from me? I ain't giving you one grimm

-Learns that he isn't in dept with Cerezas teacher and sighs in relief.

-At first, he tries to stay away, but then when a few other witches attacked him, Cereza sent out Chesire and incased them in thorns.

-The witches never came back again. Ever since that day, he became sort of a uncle figure for Cereza.

-May or may not dress Cereza up as him and gets in trouble with Lucifer.

-Cereza accidently learns how to scam people

Leviathan:

-Another Normie? Boring.

-Isn't the biggest fan of children.

-But when he learns from the umbran clan that cereza is from, he changes his mind.

-You're just like that main character from 'I kill angels and try to regain my memories after sleeping for 500 years'

-She doesn't know jack shit of games and anime? Oh hell no! Let me introduce you to Ruri-Chan

-Cereza hangs out with Leviathan the most, because he is basically an outcast from the brothers in her eyes. Altough he was willingly and she was forcefully cast out

Satan:

-Girl be prepared. This demon will adopt you.

-Not only does she have to read a lot to learn spells, Cereza also loves Cats. She styles her hair as cat ears and has a chesire plushie.

-'I've only had Cereza for 1 hour and a half, but if anything happens to her, i will kill everyone and myself'

-Cereza reminds him of alice in wonderland. He also often plays with chesire and makes it fight Cerebrus

-Sometimes has Cereza do something for the anti lucifer league.

-Probably has soemthing about Umbra witches.

-Say hello to your new papa, cereza.

-Constantly fights Asmodeus and Solomon over who gets to take care of her. Chesire is not amused.

Asmodeus:

-Squels when he sees her. She is adorable, but not as adorable as him of course

-A young witch in training,how cute.

-Knows that she is a kid, but she could do better with her outfit choices.

-Whats that? Your hair needs proper care, because it acts as a conduit? Say less! Cerezas hair is in good care with Admodeus.

-Definetly takes a lot of selfies with her and she becomes devildoms most popular witch

-He has a lot to say about Chesire. Couldn't this demon get in a better looking doll?

-Ate his words when he learned that Cerezas mother made this doll when she was imprisoned.

-Hopes Chesire won't scratch his beautiful face.

Beelzebub:

-Big brother instincts kick in

-Thinks of her as a little lilith and protects her with her life

-Occasionally spars with Chesire.

-Cereza gives him lollipos and Avalon essences, which are very sweet.

-Would eat them in a second.

-He reminds Cereza of the Inferno varaint of him, Baal.

-Whats that, your mother is in danger and you have to travel through a forest to save her? Let me come with you.

-He feels like Cereza and Belphie would get along

Belphegor:

-He and Cereza don't get along. At all.

-Belphegor doesn't like humans, especially children and Cereza thinks he is annoying.

-Spite eachother

-Cereza always gets chesire to wake Belphie up. She knows she won't get in trouble with Lucifer if she does.

-That little BI-

Diavolo:

-Learns a lot when Cereza came to the devildom.

-Theres another part of hell named Inferno. He knew of the legend, but didn't think ot existed.

-Surprised that Barbatos knew of it. All the butler had to say was 'You didn't ask, so i didn't tell, young master.'

-Inspires Cereza a lot. He started to care for her like a little sister.

-He finds Chesire very cute.

-If anyone says something bad about Cereza, they will get punished severly. Its a criminal offence now.

-Often gets Barbatos to join them when Cereza is talking about her teacher.

-'Young Master, please get to work'

Barbatos:

-He already knew of Cerezas existence before she came here. She was child of sage and witch blood.

-As to how he knew, its because Cerezas mother, Rosa, made a contract with his own mother, Madama khepri, who is knows as the protector of time in Inferno.

(I know it was never stated that Barbatos had parents, but i thought it would make sense if they were mother and son. They're both mainly known for the color green, control of time and are the most powerful demons in their respective universe.)

-'How amusing' he thought. Who would've known they would cross paths someday. He could've know, but can't use his powers without Diavolos permission.

-He appreciated Cereza a lot, since she sometimes helps him clean. When he asked her why, she just shrugged and told him that her teacher would always make her do chores that might help her with training.

-Is a bit iffed at that.

-Cereza also gives him the plants and herbs she collected from avalon forest. He appreciates it and is surprised how the petals of onyx roses make good tea.

-Once when barbatos was frozen when he saw a 'you-know-what', Cereta captured them in thorny vines and Chesire at them.

-Was very grateful. Wonders if he could borrow Chesire for a while.

Simeon:

-Simply adores her.

-He often watches her have play dates with Luke. He thinks children are the most innocent beings.

-While not thrilled that she was a witch who makes pacts with Infernal demons, he respects her decision.

-Fate hasn't decided yet. He can sense an angelic and light magic in her. Who knows, maybe she'll becoma a sage.

-Is also grateful that she doesn't know how to use Technology. How do they do it?

-Hears about how you were treated. He would like to have a word with those bitches- i mean witches.

-That cat doll somehow scares him. It threatend to eat its wings

Luke:

-Finally, another child.

-Becomes instant friends with her.

-Is confused when she said that he resembles the boy im her dreams. Makes him blush a bit.

(Who Cereza reminds him of)

-Bakes with her a lot. They both always want Barabtos to feel special, so they make him cookies or cake.

-Definelty wishes she would visit the celestial realm.

-Bumos heads with Chesire often.

Solomon:

-Not only did Cereza get a dad in devildom, but also a second teacher.

-Teases her a lot and doesn't really mind Chesire.

-He knows a lot about the witches and sages, but choses not to tell the rest. When Cereza asks why, he just says 'why not'

-Is impressed by Cerezas potion making. But she still had a long way to go.

-Knows who Cerezas teacher is. He and Morgana often have some sort of beef.

-Does he purposly take Cereza as his apprentice? Maybe. Does he like it? Yes

-Is moved to tears when Cereza likes his cooking. He will fight Satan over an adoption.

-In actaulity, Cereza thinks his food is quite decent. Besides, she was served worse when she was with the umbran clan. She had better meals from Morgana.
