[ID: A three page digital comic featuring characters from Jujutsu Kaisen. It only has line art. Page one: Toji's body with a hole in it is half seen before the page fades into three panels of Gojo's crying eyes in decreasing size. The last panel is a chibi Gojo being bit and brought out of crying by the two divine dogs. Page two: Gojo takes a note from one of the dogs' mouths. It says 'Your crying's too loud" and labeled with doodles of Megumi's and Tsumiki's heads. The next three panels is Gojo's expressions with the borders increasingly becoming more expressive and explosive. At first he looks bewildered, then he holds back laughter, then he's tearing up laughing and smiling. The last panel he's hugging one of the dogs while he laughs. Page three: One of the dogs has a note on its head reading "thank you, kids" and the other is trying to lick a letter stuck to its head. The second panel is Tsumiki smiling and patting Megumi's head while saying "Good job, Gumi" The last panel is cartoon styled as they look into the last envelope with large eyes. I’ve realized something recently in the Lego Monkie kid fandom and I’d like to share it for any lmk fans that might be reading this *ahem* Don’t let anyone push their headcanons on you, ship whatever you want, but for the LOVE OF GOD please connect back to canon /lh As someone who gets really worried about not staying loyal to canon with characterization and such, this fandom has forced me to actually start accepting that I’m not a complete idiot who’s misunderstanding all the characters- which has been a challenge ngl- but seeing as there’s so much discourse and normalized mischaracterization I didn’t really have any options. I love this show and all it’s characters, and I really hope the fandom can get itself into a healthier state soon <3

FOTD #094 : flame scalecap! (pholiota flammans)

the flame scalecap (also called yellow / flaming pholiota) is a basidiomycete agaric fungus in the family strophariaceae. it is found in europe, russia, north america, india & china :-) this fungus grows exclusively on decaying or dead stumps / trunks from coniferous trees !!

the big question : can i bite it?? they are non-poisonous - some consider them edible, some consider them inedible.

p. flammans description :

"the cap surface is dry, matt & felt-like, & in wet conditions may lose scales. the cap margin remain curved slightly inwards. the yellow gills are crowded together, attached to the stem, & have a notch where the gill attaches to the stem. a bright yellow partial veil extending from the cap edge to the edge is present in immature species. as the cap expands & flattens with age, the partial veil tears, leaving a faint ring around the stem. the cylindrical straight or curved stem is itself covered in yellow squamules below the ring. the base of the stem, typically more orange in colour than the upper portion, is firmly attached to the dead wood from which the fungus arises. the section of stem above the ring bears little or no protuberances. the flesh is firm, full, yellow & does not change colour when bruised or injured. the dimensions of the fruit body are as follows: cap diameter up to 8 cm (3+1⁄8 in), stem up to 12 cm (4+3⁄4 in) tall & between 0.4 to 1 cm (1⁄8 to 3⁄8 in) cm thick. as the fruit body matures, the gills darken to cinnamon brown following spore release."
