[ID: A mostly cool colored, digital three page comic of teen Gojo Satoru talking to young Tsumiki Fushiguro. Page one: Gojo makes a sandwich for Tsumiki who's leaning on the kitchen island. Tsumiki says "Thanks for the snacks, dad" and Gojo responds "No problem, Tsumi." In the next panel Gojo complains "Man... I wish Megumi didn't hate me so much. At least you call me dad..." Tsumiki comments "Megumi does that too, though?" In the third panel, Gojo activates his Six Eyes like a flashlight and yells "When!? Where!? Do you have it on camera!?" to a surprised Tsumiki. Page two: Tsumiki thinks about the various times Megumi has called Gojo 'dad,' including when Gojo gave them a bad hair cut, when the divine dogs bit Gojo, when Gojo made soup, and lastly when Megumi asked Tsumiki to ask Gojo to make snacks which is all represented in blue tinted drawings. In the last panel she has a devious smile and is labeled "8 yr old who just realized how funny she can be" Page three: Tsumiki cheerfully says to a gleeful Gojo "In your dreams!" The second panel shows them zoomed out with a lighting strike going through Gojo's shattered heart while Tsumiki has a cat like smile. In the third panel with a light orange background, Tsumiki is smiling while Megumi comes up behind her and asks "Why's dad crying?" /End ID]
Before this happened
Edit: It has kindly been brought to my attention that Tsumi means sin in Japanese I'm so sorry Tsumiki I should've taken five seconds to check I just wanted matching nicknames with Gumi 😭

im dying my hair today so here's jjk people reacting to you wanting to dye your hair (in the dad! gojou verse with no name)
notes: there's both romantic and platonic yandere in this one, mentions of sex
Nobara
you want to dye? she's first in line to do it for you. She's the one that helped you chop your hair when it got too long, the one who does your nails and your makeup when you're down
she orders the best dye on your father's dime and he just laughs, more lenient with them then he'll ever be with you
sends everyone away til it's done
Megumi
doesn't get it but is supportive. He does genuinely want your happiness as long as you're doing something deemed safe
He'll wash your hair and prep it for you, humming to himself as you sit together in silence. Does the best job of getting all the dye out with his long ass fingers
gojou probably invades your time together at some point to fuck with you
tells you that you look beautiful afterwards and you can't help the flush when he runs fingers through your fresh clean hair and sends you off to Nobara
Yuuji
doesn't get it at all, and when you ask how he dyes his own hair, reveals that it's naturally that color of pink.
you don't know what to do with this information because you know your dad is weird, hell megumi is weird but sweet innocent yuuji, what the fuck
ends up asking sukuna to do it for you
Sukuna
is half laughing at yuuji while he dyes it for you. makes you let him pick the color and to no one's surprise it's the same pink color that he and yuuji share.
sharp nails make you feel amazing, getting all the gunk and grime out of the parts of your hair that's hard to reach
the two of you somehow end up fucking because sukuna likes your hair in his colors. megumi has to carry you back to your room afterwards
Gojou
happens several years before everyone else's
you've managed to fuck up big time, like refusing to call him dad or at least satoru.
takes you to his favorite salon, and has them dye your hair a brilliant white so you look like him
you know not to say anything because he will kill all these people if you disobey enough. you're lucky getting off with a simple hair dye.
makes you wear your hair like that for a year.

Maybe I’m stupid (likely) but I feel like Gojo resembling Toji in his battle with Megumi!Sukuna is trying to show that he is a paternal figure in Megumi’s life. Like the two different sides of Megumi’s male paternal figures (or I guess the two most consistent male adult figures in Megumi’s life)??? I don’t buy that Gojo was a father figure for Tsumiki and Megumi (to me he was more like Spencer from ICarly lmao) but like…i feel like the outfit similarity is trying to say something about their relationship on a familial or paternal scale…but im too dumb to fully phrase this how i want so maybe just ponder on this for me hahaha

Obviously everyone is allowed to have their own interpretations but for me personally I will never get how ppl see Gojo as an older brother/uncle figure to Megumi. They are me and my dad if we were in an anime

@jikoku asked: "please don't go... don't leave me." angsty prompts pt. 1 || accepting
Tumblr media
satoru doesn't really remember much about the moment it happens. one second, he's floating atop the world. he hasn't felt this good since he finally figured out how rct works and mastered both his red and hollow purple abilities. he's grinning wide, blood coursing through his veins as he stands proud over his victory. he's won — all that's left is to get megumi back, give suguru a proper burial, and work toward truly restructuring jujutsu society... if it could even be called that anymore.
and then he's on the floor.
he can't even process what happened. he doesn't even feel pain — he can hardly feel anything at all, really. he hears sukuna's words, and he manages a bloody smile. it sure was fun. when he blinks next he's not even there anymore. he's at an airport of all places, and all his old friends are there. it hits him then what really just happened and damn. he's conflicted. he thinks the joy of seeing them all again, of having the fight of his life, it keeps his spirits high. he does believe in his students, he knows they will pull through just like they did before. they're stronger together. the others all take their leave, and satoru's alone with his thoughts. does time pass here? is this even really the afterlife or some figment of his imagination? is his soul just floating in some sort of abyss, trying to conjure up some sort of reality? is it time to start getting philosophical?
he's conflicted. he has full faith in his students, but there's still this sense of guilt that gnaws at him. his remaining friends will caryr on, his students will prevail, he's not married, no significant other, he doesn't have any children — megumi. because he knows that yuuji will get the other boy his body back, all that's left is megumi. damn. he scratches at his hair, frustrated. he never did get to tell megumi about scumbag father. he'd always wanted to see megumi grow strong, on his level. he wanted to see megumi graduate and maybe become a teacher like him.
he always wanted to tell megumi how he felt, too. it was often on the tip of his tongue, but he never quite knew how to get the words out. how do you even tell someone you view them as family? do you need to? deep down, satoru knows he doesn't. megumi knows. he has to know. he's done everything a parent could do with what little time he's had. megumi's a perceptive kid, so he had to realize somewhere along the way, right? but still, satoru never told the kid he loved him as his own. megumi was always a bit of the insecure type — a given considering he was abandoned along with his sister. he might not have wanted to assume...
the stars must have aligned perfectly, because he suddenly hears the sniffling of a small child, and those cries sound eerily familiar. he turns, and sure enough, there's a small megumi standing in the middle of the terminal, small frame shivering as he rubs at his eyes with one hand, a small teddy clutched to his chest with the other.
megumi? what is he doing here? did he also...?
satoru's lower lip trembles then, fists clenching at his sides as he moves to stand. his hair hangs in front of his face, and he shakes it out, trying to recompose himself. maybe he didn't feel so sad about his own death, but megumi? he's just a kid. he had his whole life ahead of him. was this... his own fault? he walks over to him then, managing a smile as he kneels to his level.
❝ megumi-chan? it's me, satoru. y'know? your satoru-nii? tell me what's wrong, ❞ he speaks softly, far more adept at dealing with a small child than he was when he'd first met megumi. 9 years sure flew by, huh? somehow, in his eyes, he never quite stopped seeing megumi as that little boy he'd first met and took under his wing.
megumi looks up at him then, eyes bleary with tears and his whole expression twisted in a sob. the water works really start flowing then as little megumi starts blubbering. it's hard for satoru to even make sense of, but he gets bits and pieces here and there.
❛ tsumiki is... ❜
❛ it's all my fault. ❜
❛ i wasn't strong enough. ❜
❛ i saw everything. ❜
❛ it's my fault he killed you. ❜
❛ i'm so sorry. ❜
❛ please don't go... don't leave me. ❜
it's all so devastating to hear, and satoru's honestly at a loss for words for a moment. he hadn't even considered how heavily it might have all weighed on megumi, and he feels guilty for it. even when trying so hard to protect him and ensure he could enjoy his youth, satoru still...
❝ it's okay, megumi. i'm not angry. it's not your fault, and i could never blame you. i know you tried your best. i'm sad that you're here too, because i wanted you to live on with your friends. at the same time, i feel kind of relieved to see you. is that a bit selfish? ❞ he's wiping at megumi's tears, smiling up at him as he brushes the small boy's hair out of his face. megumi seems to be calming down a bit as satoru speaks to him, so he continues.
❝ i never got to say it before, but you mean a lot to me, megumi. like a little brother — a son. a long time ago, i resigned myself to this idea that i'd never have a family. i couldn't bring myself to put that weight onto others, and i'd never be able to prioritize them. i was alright with being lonely. i figured being the strongest was the trade-off, ❞ he says, and megumi's stopped by now, just snifflinf softly as he listens to satoru speak.
Tumblr media
❝ but then i met you, and you were this huge brat that was mean to me and seemed so ungrateful and always kept me at arm's length. i was annoyed but endeared, too, because i could tell you were hesitant to let anyone in — a lot like me. we were both lonely in our own way, but i met you at the perfect time. you were a blessing. you are a blessing. even now. i never once regretted taking you in, not even when i had to face that villain in your body. ❞ finally, satoru pulls megumi into a firm hug, his own shoulders shaking a bit as he'd finally gotten all of that off his chest. he doesn't know if it's what megumi needed to hear, but it's what satoru's wanted to say. his fingers affectionately cradle the back of megumi's head, soothingly ruffling his hair as he hugs him tight and buries his face into his shoulder.
❝ i love you, kid. i never needed any of my own because i had you. my blessing. we've got the rest of forever ahead of us now. you, me, and tsumiki too. so please don't cry, megumi-chan. i won't leave you ever again. i promise. ❞

[ID: A colored, simple, three panel comic of teen Gojo Satoru and Megumi Fushiguro. Panel one: Megumi sits on a stool, feet hanging barely half way down, as Gojo kneels in front of them bandaging their arm and holding their hand. Second panel: Megumi from the waist up, looking at her bandaged arm and saying "No. I'm alright Dad." A small cartoon Megumi realizes what they said and goes "wait..." Third panel: Gojo has a closed eyes smile and says "Okay, Gumi" but is labeled "Trying very very very very hard to play it cool." Multiple loud and ugly crying cartoon Gojo's reflect his real feelings in the background. /End ID]

Title: The Tsumiki years
Summery: it wasn't always just you, Your Father and Megumi. Once there were four (a prologue for the Dad! Gojou verse that doesn't have a name, and if you want more of it, check out my #demon mode tag)
Warning(s): possessive behavior, parentification, dead dove do not eat, this is pretty tame actually, belittling.
Request(s): none
When you were young you didn't have the words for what Gojou your father did to you. Sometimes when you think about telling people, even though you know it'd get them killed or hurt or something worse then any of that, you still don't have the words.
He brought Megumi and Tsumiki to you maybe a few something after you were taken. You're not sure. Barely remember them coming (liar).
"Hello?" A warm little voice says, "are you alright?" You shake your head wildly, and the voice hums. "Can you look at me? It's rude not to look at people when they're talking to you. You know that. He's told you a couple times.
You look away from the couch only to see a girl with pretty blue eyes staring at you with something you don't know. "Why are you crying?" She asks, edging her way into the narrow spot behind the couch. There's a boy behind her, watching you with green, green, eyes. You don't want to look at him, reminds you too much of Him.
Once the girl is close, she takes your hand from your person, half humming a lullaby. "I don't know why you're sad but maybe if you come out, you'll feel better." You won't, you know that but you follow th girl anyways, keeping a hand tucked in hers.
He's waiting for you outside of the couch area, clearly amused with your rebellion. "This is Tsumiki," He introduces the girl, "and Megumi," the boy. He's got a weird name for a boy. You tell him so. He looks pissed for a moment before the now named Tsumiki scolds you. "Not nice. He can't choose his name you know." With that she walks away, the one named Megumi, right on her heels.
Somehow you feel bad, like you shouldn't have done it. She reminds you of your mom, warm and stern and something a little bit scary. "I explained to Tsumiki and Megumi that you're still adjusting here, that I only adopted you recently and to give you a little bit of space." He says softly, "They will tell me if you run away sweetie." You hate pet names, they make you want to scream. He doesn't seem to care.
You were so naive them, actually thought that he was lying. You know better know. Megumi has always been on your father's side and when she was... here , so was Tsumiki.
There were good times, and you know that. Know that Tsumiki wanted you to be happy with them and sometimes you think she could have understood. That's not to say that there weren't good times, there were but somehow your father always managed to ruin them.
"Miki that isn't how you do it!" you snap, tugging the doll away from her. You've always liked to create, to do fashion and you've been trying to show her what you like to do.
Your Father (not dad, never dad even little you knows better then that) keeps you in dolls and gets you new things for them when he says you've been good. Tsumiki likes to play with you but you don't know how to explain to her that she doesn't do it right, that house has a mom and a dad and not just a dad and siblings.
Megumi doesn't like to play at all but he'll watch sometimes or sit near with his dogs. He's gotten good at manifesting them, something that you aren't allowed to do. Your Father says that you are too weak, too soft to ever use the cursed energy that you know you have because you can make flowers grow and wilt whereas Tsumiki can only see, not use. She doesn't seem to mind though, likes watching, and somehow even bosses your father around. She's big and strong.
Your Father walks in just as you've managed to convince Tsumiki that a mom is important, even though she thinks that moms are silly. They're aren't lots of things that Miki thinks are silly but when she does there isn't any telling her anything else. "What's going on here?" He asks, and Megumi looks away from his dogs, says "They're trying to decide if you need a mom for house." Your Father hums, and takes a doll away, and says, "Mom's don't do anything. That's why we have older sisters." Tsumiki beams and you feel... sad. Moms are important but maybe they aren't as important as sisters?
Tsumiki ran the house with a gentle iron fist and by the time you and Megumi were ten even Your Father was listening to her. Like cleaning day. You still feel... something when you think about cleaning day.
Tsumiki wakes everyone up in the early morning, Megumi following at her side. As much as the two of them argue, he's always at her side, glaring at the shadows when they get too rowdy which doesn't happen very often. Megumi is strict with his shadows (with you). There's a knock at the door and Tsumiki goes to answer it.
"Satoru-san," Tsumiki trills and your blood goes cold, "You remembered that it's cleaning day!" There are supplies in his hands and a splatter of blood on his face. Tsumiki doesn't seem to care.
She tried to reason it out once, explained to you that the people your Father kills aren't Family so it doesn't really matter in the long run, not to someone who's been raised by assassins and killers her whole life. You are glad to this day that you never forgot the Before.
Your Father smiles at Tsumiki and runs gentle fingers through her hair. "You've been reminding everyone since Monday," he says and he's so much gentler with Tsumiki and Megumi then you, never makes them feel worthless and weak even though you have more cursed energy then Tsumiki.
"I have," She says, "because I can't let you run away from helping". Your Father snorts, and watches for Megumi who's slinked over and is looking at him with a critical eye. "You're going to get blood on Miki's carpet. Go wash up." It's funny to watch the man who took everything (what did you even have before him? Don't you belong here? what happened to you?) get bossed around by someone exactly your age (it doesn't feel that way. Megumi isn't a child but he is a threat).
Your Father ruffles Megumi's hair and he snaps at him with teeth. Megumi's teeth are a little too sharp to be human teeth. You shudder. He notices, gives you an itty bitty little smile.
"You leave my baby alone Satoru." Tsumiki says lightly, the only person that Satoru even really thinks about listening to, and all of you get to cleaning.
You tackle the cabinets and it's kind of soothing, to do something that you can't be criticized for.
Megumi cleans the living room, using his shadows to wipe the places he can't get to. You like watching him, especially when he's happy like this.
Tsumiki does laundry, pile after pile get folded by her sure, steady hands, the same ones that chop up dinner every night, (the same ones that follow Your Father's instructions), the same ones that tuck you in to this day, humming a lullaby as you fall asleep.
Your Father cleans the bedrooms, mostly his because Tsumiki insists that yours needs to be clean and Megumi is a neat freak on his own, thankfully for everyone because he can tsumiki share a bedroom.
No one but the four of you are aloud here. Tsumiki likes it clean anyways, says that it's good to have a clean mind for a steady soul. You want it to be Monday already, you like school even if Megumi is in your class and no one wants to talk to you cause he's so scary.
You miss Tsumiki, for a lot of reasons.
Now as you stare blankly at the cell that contains you, you wish she was here to talk sense into everyone.

@rake-rake: "I don't understand... Why don't you like Yuta...? You're the one who first introduced him to me..." Gumi
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“— C'mere, son,” Satoru murmurs gently, urging Megumi to take a seat beside him. “— Sometimes... people have a falling out. One day you're cordial with each other, and nice, and the next...something happens that change your view point of that person forever. However, that's between me and Yuta to solve. You two can still be good friends. He has a lot to teach you (even if it'll be harsh).”
A hand descends on top of Megumi's head, gently soothing the worry away. He knows he should probably get his act together, especially concerning Megumi. Ah, he probably fucked up with this decision, but none the less, its a necessary action. “— Don't worry about it too much! Just focus on your studies, getting better at Jujutsu Sorcery and catching up to me, alright?”
