Welcome to the island of lost souls. 

I am pushing further and further out to sea. I am the dead, caged lion. I need to content my heart by giving mine, but it’s not the place nor the time. You’re far and it’s circumstantial, just as beautiful, and for us substantial, because my stress helps build my tolerance. The tolerance to the only thing that might kill me, the only thing being distance. 

My ship has wrecked at the island of dark souls and all that’s here is scraps to fear, and I can no longer find the cheer. This path’s brand new as it begins but I think too much of growing fins and breathing in the pond behind me. No path is clear and I am here. I want to love the land so far, and feed the sky with a guitar but how can I without a scar.

Welcome to the island of lost souls.

I will sit with my table and two chairs again.
