hi! so.. i'm gonna try and be as honest as i can with this post. i'm gonna address some questions (that no one has asked but i feel are necessary to talk about) because i kind of just don't want to lie anymore lol

Q: first off, why has this blog been so inactive?:

A: er. a couple reasons. recently, my mental health has been going through a lot of ups and downs, along with the fact i've been trying to focus on things irl like friends, grades, etc. most of the time i just don't.. have time to write or do stuff for this blog. i wish i could, i promise. i'm just dealing with my own issues daily.

the second reason is. well. few people are interested in this anymore. few of us still even have interest in midori. i mean, maybe we do. just not as much as before. its okay, things change over the course of 6-7 ish months. i understand that and i'm not going to try to push it anymore

Q: what do i plan to do with this blog?

A: okay. i'm gonna be as honest as i can with this. i have no fucking clue. i've been thinking about like final bit of lore posts and just simple goodbye posts for a while. i've also been thinking about just completely resetting and completely disregarding the lore and starting over. as tempting as this is, others and i have (probably) poured a lot of time into thinking about and writing our characters' lore and wouldn't be the happiest to just throw it all away. idk. you tell me what you think.

i've also been thinking really hard about just making a new ask blog. or just repurposing this one. not sure yet, i want some other people's opinion first. i just want to start a new ask/rp blog. preferably with a different character. mostly because my y/ttd hpfx has been. non existant. haha..

Q: anything else i want to talk about?

A: this isn't really a question, i know. i just wanted an excuse to yap some more.

so.. mostly, i'd like to say i'm sorry. i'm sorry i dragged all of you along. i was. kind of selfish throughout this entire thing. maybe you guys don't feel this way, but i feel like i've been really controlling in the rp. or just like i spoke over everyone else. and that i haven't been making time for everyone. i'm sorry. i have personal issues that i shouldn't have let affect the rp/everyone else. i hope you forgive me

Q: final thoughts?

A: for now, this post is all i have to say. obviously if you have more questions, then please ask. my inbox has been empty for a very long while.

along with the apology above, i'd also like to thank you all!! i'm so happy you all stuck with me for so long. honestly, i've been.. really uncomfortable with this blog. by that i mean it's just been really stressful to think about what i'm going to do with it. i don't want to throw away the thing i love, the thing that brought me out of a bad mental state. but it can't last forever, i know.

anyway! i'm also kinda curious about something. if i were to make a new ask or rp blog would you guys be interested...

currently these are my ideas: pkmn!shin au ask blog, takeshi (my y/ttd oc) ask blog, h/xh related ask blog, angel (midoribai oc) rp blog, and sunny (midoribai god oc).

i might make a poll with these options if you guys really are interest in any of these.

short little cs!takeshin being gay fic i ws bored and cant sleep so :3

It's a bit later than after school on a Friday, the store's rush finally coming to and end. The shopkeeper bell chimes once again as someone walks in. Shin looks up for a moment, setting down the pack of cookies he was about to put on the shelves.

A voice rings out. "Shiiin..?" It's Takeshi. Shin quickly puts down the rest of the packs. He can stock the shelf another time.

"Hey." Shin greets him. Takeshi smiles and rushes up for a hug. Shin just sighs and hugs him back.

Takeshi, not knowing how to start the conversation, just stays there for a little while until Shin pulls away out of awkwardness.

"Um.. how was try-outs for the team? Ah, er.. that was today, wasn't it?" He stumbles over his words a little, also not knowing how to converse. "I mean, ahaha, I can tell it was.. cause, y'know." Shin just kinda gestures towards him, sweaty and disheveled.

"Yup! I-I have high hopes for the results.. I think I did pretty well!" He excitedly clutches his duffle bag strap that's hanging off his shoulder. "A-Are you proud, Shin? I'll be able to join the- ah wait. I haven't even gotten the results yet. Eheh.." Shin smiles at him.

"Yeah, I am. Sounds good.." He trails off, letting Takeshi ramble on. "Oh, wait, I was gonna ask. Er.. have you had lunch yet? Want a snack?" He offers him a pack of the cookies he was stocking.

"Eh.. no thanks." Takeshi politely nudges his hand away.

"Why not?"

"..Don't I have to pay first?"

"Why would you? It's on me."

"Because! It'd be like stealing if I didn- wait wha?"

"Haha.. you heard me. It's on me. I'll pay for it, don't worry." Shin smirks so smugly. Then he immediately regrets it. He blushes and waves his hand dismissively. "...Ah, but if you want to pay, that's fine too. J.. Just take the cookies, Keshi.. sheesh." He shoves the pack into Takeshi's hands. Takeshi just looks puzzled.

"..O-Okay! Thank you!" He smiles and happily rips the packet open. Shin wishes he was dead.

Hello, fellow @midoribaiers and others!

Ocean uses she/her pronouns. Mod is a minor so keep that in mind, though suggestive humor is fine! I can't guarantee a lot of activity since this isn't my main but I'll try to pop in. I don't mind if people find out my main (it's very obvious to anyone who knows my main) but I'm not publicly saying it because I find the pseudo-anonymity entertaining.

Ocean herself isn't quite sure what she is. She seems human enough though, so she's not too worried about that. She also has a fondness for oven mitts, for some reason.

I don't know any rp lore and neither does Ocean. I didn't expect to get attached to her so I never developed any lore. I'm figuring it out it with her. Anything goes. She's self-indulgent and stereotypical and that is perfectly fine by me!

Ocean doesn't have an actual name. Maybe she did at some point, but she's not sure. She was called Ocean once, so she's alright with that. She has tanned skin and upturned orangey-yellow eyes. Her hair is a dark muted blue and short. She has uneven bangs that are longer on the left, she doesn't know who cut them but they did not do a great job. Her teeth are a bit too sharp and she WILL bite you. She should also probably stop eating random things—just because you can doesn't mean you should!
