Shackled au is basically a Shadowpeach Au where Macaque is raised by PIF, and meets Wukong while working for DBK. They fall in love, shenanigans ensure. They are also lesbians, because I say so.

I tend to call this AU the "Assistant AU" too. Since Brotherhood Era is mostly just two idiots in love. But the "Shackled" part of the AU becomes more prominent the farther along we go. so for less confusion i'm just calling it shackled.

(Abrupt head on shot from a wide angle) Cleo and Cub are cell neighbors. Through the bars, Cleo is speaking to Cub, who is mostly unresponsive. Most of the sculk is gone. Cleo is friendly and the conversation is one sided but light hearted.

(Top down view of some kind of ritualistic bloody torture room. idk man. A table is framed in the middle. Don’t forget the meat!) On the table is a stranger in a hospital gown with a dagger through their chest. Cleo is holding the dagger lololol. The blood from the stranger is leaking off the table and onto the floor where some kind of sigils are drawn.

The light inside you died

The stranger opens their eyes. Notably, Cleo looks ragged and pale and the Meat Bucket is rotten.

Cleo, still human looking, is stitching closed a suspiciously dagger shaped chest wound on themself. The injury is not bleeding, in fact, the inside looks pretty black and dead.

She scratches something on her face and uh oh. the skin comes off. (<- bad)

Cleo’s phone is blowing up with texts from the same person.

Her fist (looking BAD) (melting 😬) comes down on the side table, knocking her phone off it.

@autisticshadowthehedgehog inspired me to connect Lydia the Bard’s songs about Disney princesses becoming villains in AUs with Sonic characters. I rewrote two of those songs for Surge and Kit. But they’re already villains/anti-villains in canon. This time I’ve actually rewritten a song with an animatic script for an AU where a hero throws away their morals.

That hero is Knuckles! Because he has such a tragic life that it would be not only understandable, but downright cathartic in a sense for him to abandon his duty and do what he wants. Even the most honourable person can break. So this is an AU where he stays alone on Angel Island during the trying events of Sonic Forces while Sonic is ‘dead’, and… spirals. Badly. More detail is in the document!

4. How many WIPs do you have right now?

actually shockingly few! ever since i finished my big owl house editing pass back in june i've not done a whole lot in terms of projects...and recently i've been playing rain world so instead of writing im playing rain world like 24/7. currently my only main project is the dess raises kris au, and in that 'verse the only thing i'm writing right now is a dess/chara relationship study. i WOULD finish it, but, uh. rain world. (<- guy who is trying so hard not to write rain world fic. i probably wont but also i am always tormented by ideas. but consider i have to tell the story of my slugpup scooter SCOOTER I WONT EVER FORGET YOU--)

5. What's a fic idea you've had that you will never write?

probably countless that i do not remember right now! but digging around through my drafts, i've got a few deltarune daemon aus that won't ever see the light of day...one of them was a fangame where the player played as one of kris's two daemons, and the other was a fic where ralsei was kris's daemon. the ideas from there have basically been repurposed elsewhere--a lot of my kris&ralsei stuff went into various works, and the fangame stuff is being reworked into the dess raises kris au.

beyond that, in terms of things that are actually abandoned and won't be used elsewhere, there are so many daemon aus that i've left behind for one reason or another, though the gravity falls transcendence au is the one that i think was the best...that one postcanon his dark materials fic i was gonna write where lyra and pan return to will's world and cause general shenanigans there with him and kirjava...a vera-centric son of sea foam wings of fire au because vera is the love of my life and i was rereading wings of fire bc i felt nostalgic....oh my god fantasy high SOPHOMORE YEAR FIC, which i tried to start TWICE, once from fig's pov and once from ayda's that was their road trip back home and i have some very funny snippets from...MY INFINITY TRAIN DAEMON AU WAIT THAT ONE STILL GOES SO HARD ACTUALLY. okay drop everything ive ever said the fact that i never wrote my infinity train book two daemon au is a travesty. i was cooking with that one.

11. Do you have specific playlists for writing fics?

sort of! i usually always have at least one or two songs i connect to any given fic, but in terms of what i listen to when actually WRITING, it's changed over the years. i used to put on compilations of video game music--usually utdr, pmd, and then just whatever got recommended to me lol--then i did like. those character playlists people make on youtube? mostly bc they tended to pull from the same pool of songs so it became good background noise lol. now i use the youtube mix or whatever its called for a similar reason--it tends to play the same handful of songs ive listened to a lot, so they dont distract me.

14. If you could see one of your fics adapted into a visual medium, such as comic or film, which fan fic would you pick?

oh i LOVE this question, and it would be without a doubt my nimona daemon au oh, are you at all like me. nimona itself is obviously both a comic and a movie, and i'd say animated film since the fic follows the movie plot more--i think there'd be a LOT of really cool scenes you could get with that fic. i also think i could make killer animatics based on my fics if i could draw good enough <3 and thats not a joke i have scripts and sketch storyboards and everything. maybe one day i'll finish one of those.

Something pretty big is coming to the blog 👀

For the while, I’ve been debating. How should I show the story events in the AU? Should it be comics? Simple art pieces? But today, I decided to get started on something pretty ambitious; an animatic! I don’t know if animatics will be a mainstay here on the blog, but they’re pretty fun projects to work on in my spare time.

The animatic most likely won’t be too long. About five to ten minutes at most. The script still has some finishing touches I need to wrap up, but this test run of the animation (or lack thereof) gives me a good idea of how the rest of the animatic will play out.

It's definitely far from finished. In fact, it took me most of the afternoon just to finish the first ten seconds! If I had to guess how long, exactly, it will take to get to a point where I'm satisfied enough to call it finished (as well as balancing things like schoolwork now that school has started again for me), chances are it will take at least until next month or the month after that to be finished.

I’ve never made a long form animation like this before. I’m a pretty inexperienced animator, so feedback and suggestions are very much appreciated!

Some rough draft character designs for a Bloodclan AU I've been brainstorming. Yes, Rusty/Firestar joins Bloodclan. No, Bloodclan isn't 100% evil. Tigerstar still is, though.

This entire AU was heavily inspired by a very wonderful band called Ghost, so you might be able to peep a couple of secrets hidden in some designs ;) Ghost lore is a rabbithole that gives me my daily dose of serotonin.

Basis of the AU is:

Normal thing happens with Tiny vs Tigerpaw, but Tiny ends up meeting Barley's mother in the city instead of a bunch of salty alley cats. Tiny shares his food with the mom (who I started calling Jinx cause poor lady doesn't have a canon name) and she kind of adopts him to be her kitten's older brother. A dog attacks Jinx and her babies, and Tiny puts all his PTSD rage to good use and kills the dog (which is small, like a jack russell or something). Jinx thanks him, and then rumors go around about a dog-killing cat. Tiny changes his name, as he takes what his mother (Quince) said and changes it to be a "Scourge for the name of all good cats" because the city is overrun with angry dogs.

Scourge then creates Bloodclan to help protect cats from dogs, teaching them how to fight. Eventually he finds Rusty wandering the streets and finds out the poor kiddo was beaten up by the now-named Tigerclaw. Scourge takes Rusty under his wing and they make Bloodclan great again.

I'm planning on making this AU into a 12 part animatic series. Most of the scripts are written, all the songs are chosen, I just need to actually sit down and draw them out.

I've been getting better at art, slowly but surely, even my comics are getting better, 10x slower but they are, doesn't mean I don't struggle, I mean I'm still a beginner artist after all, but I believe that one day, I will finally be able to look at my own art.

I got so many projects I wanna share with you all, aus, shitty animatics. New characters, maybe sell a piece of art, idk, I wanna do more angst, make them lil guys suffer, wanna really treat this account seriously, as far as my gen z brain allows me to I want this account to grow and form our little army, I want y'all to comment so I can read, being that just some extra jokes or criticism.

But despite all that, I gotta say, I am disappointed in y'all, we used to be kings, one of the most toxic fandoms the world has ever seen, but y'all been way too kind, I mean y'all been kinder than my fucking irl family??? that's not right, so this year around, I want you to feed your inner twitter, I want you to cancel me when I say I don't like X ship, I want you to flood me with troll hate comments when I say a unfunny joke, I want you to dox- actually no, d-don't doxx people that's really messed up and very dangerous, you are not sniperwolf, don't do that, but you get what I mean, no more goody two shoes fandom this year around.

like yeah she kinda may be manipulated by a VERY paranoid imposter because that echo KNOWS what the soul is capable of and is trying to protect and preserve it's world in ice until this demon loses interest and leaves...

unfortunately for them Kris just happens to take the red soul on the offer and TEAM UP with them instead of ripping it out.

also sans is there as just the most obvious sus npc but he's just playing into the act cuz meta humor.

it's hard to confirm if it's an act of he's just classic playing with your mind or if he's dust posing as classic or if he even has any friking clue what's going on.

he's not actually the main character but he does drop small hints throughout the story about the script being tampered with and questions the soul of it was them.

though he just shrugs it off apathetically. you can tell, with or without LV he's definitely keeping an eye on the soul.

papyrus is a detective! sans is more like a hobo in this au chilling in prison not because of any crime but because it's FREE BEDS AND FREE FOOD.

he literally just chills there for the trolls and likes to scare the ever living shit out of the soul.

snapshot au pt 10 theories

It’s a day after SSAU Part 10 came out and I finally have all the theories.  All of them. I’m doing this in normal caps because this was made in my notes app and I’m tired First of all... MAJOR kudos to Siren for drawing SEVEN MINUTES of animatic footage and amazing art.  She did an incredible job with planning and character designs on this one as well. Now to the theories! There’s a frame where X and Grian are both wearing Doom armor and looking at screens, assumed to be used for tactical stuff.  There’s a Galactic transcription on the frame saying “Hm… maybe foreshadowing a future part.”  I can only think of one theory for this transcription:  Grian becomes admin.  Here he’s pictured as Xisuma’s equal; wearing his armor and using his equipment, standing next to him.  He’s using admin tools.  Why would he become admin, though?  One word: failure.  Xisuma fails in some way during future parts (or possibly admits his past failure) and gives the job to Grian, thinking he’ll be a better fit for the admin responsibilities. After posting the above theory on DoctorSiren’s server, someone there informed me of a detail in the same frame that led me to an even more likely theory: ”actually, there's some galactic on the equipment too- if you flip it around and look closely, it says "Alex end(cut off) void"” If you didn’t already know, Alexander Void is the full name of a character in Siren’s fanfiction, Featherweight: the fan favorite Evil Xisuma.  Which means that in future SSAU parts, Evil Xisuma will likely be involved in the Closet Gang’s fight for freedom.  This could go either of two ways: Alex comes in at the peak of part 11 as a surprise ally and helps the rest of the Closet Gang defeat NPG, OR he could be extremely reluctant to help out his longtime enemy/brother Xisuma (like Xisuma himself in the section I pulled this theory from).  Both ways are brilliant ways to move the plot along as Xisuma had already been extremely plot important, and I’d love to see either above theory in SSAU.

Another thing I noticed as a Homestuck fan was that Ren was wearing Dirk’s glasses.  This made me laugh because Rendog and Dirk Strider are absolute polar opposites but Ren still looks awesome in them and they totally fit his character.   (I actually didn’t know it was intentional until Siren told me herself ._.) Will this be important?  Who knows!  Maybe Ren will play the role of Dirk that Dirk played in the Homestuck Epilogues!

The frame I saw the most emotion in was definitely Joe saying “But they’re gonna pay” at timestamp 3:27. Paired with the Galactic written on this frame (“NPC took his #bestie away 😣”), the lyrics “but they’re gonna pay”, and what the “#bestie” did to him in part 3, I can definitely tell he’s going to be a dangerous and potentially volatile force in future animatics.

I'm sorry this took so long to get out, but here's the now improved lore of my au, along with the a gif and playlist (I tried making it all into one but my laptop wasn't having it).

The playlist is an important factor to the lore, so listen carefully to certain song lyrics within each songs and tie it to the Prologue, you'll get an hint on what it is going to be about.

Reference sheets will be finished somewhere this month or the next, the animatic is....a "maybe" i might be able to make it since my laptop seems to favor animatics more then an actual animation so it depends.

So the animatic maybe around next month, and I'll give you an hint to what it will be and that is "Do you blame yourself" in the prologue there is a reference to it.

After that next year I'll see about the comic being made which means i gotta do comic scripting (Which means I'll be scripting the narrative of each pages and explaining the direction on where it is going. But to put it simply I'll be describing the narrative of the main plot of each page while scripting the dialogue of each character).

Then after the scripting i gotta do storyboarding (Which I'll using the script to match up with the characters movements and emotions).

I make comic's very differently then most people it's basically doing an musical for me lmao

Rainboom Rewritten (MLP AU Updated)

An Grimdark/Psychological Horror/Tragedy.

Prologue:

My name is Nerco Light formerly known as Twilight Sparkle, I don't know where to start so maybe I should start from the beginning. It was a normal day in Ponyvile at least as normal as it could get I remember asking Ruinous for a favor.

It was an experiment. (It was supposed to be harmless, dear Celestia. What have I done?!) I made this potion, though I can't recall exactly what it does. All I remember is that it could only work when you perform a sonic rainboom at night.

So we conducted the experiment. (No! No! No! Please stop her before she—) I gave Ruinous the potion and she flew off into the night sky.

Rainbow: Twi, are you sure this is going to work? I'm the only one that can test this and-

Twilight: I'm sure it'll be fine Rainbow, if things go bad I can execute the backup plan we talked about!

Rainbow: I know, I know, It's just I don't think this is wise but I trust you Twi!

Twilight: Ready?

Rainbow: All set!

(It went wrong, so horribly wrong, wha-what have I done?! Rainbow is unconscious she is hurt badly so very badly, it wasn't supposed to be like this… What am I-)

When Ruinous performed the rainboom I thought everything went perfectly, but then I heard her scream oh dear Luna her screams I can still hear her screams when I sleep at night, and the next thing I knew she came crashing down hard into the earth.

(Rainbow!! Oh, dear Luna!! Rainbow, please stay with me! There's so much blood I can't stop the bleeding- Rainbow? RAINBOW!!)

I looked up into the night sky after and what I saw appeared to be a vortex opening and something coming out of it, it came from space that vortex OPENED UP TO SPACE, and before I knew it there was a flash and all I could hear were screams, nothing but pure agonizing screams.

Rainbow: Twi it's okay! I'm fine now!

Twilight: You could have died rainbow, and now they are all blaming you for this!

Rainbow: Well yeah, but-

Twilight: You just don't get it!! It's all my fault i should have never let this happen, that thing is still out there somewhere, and now we're all stuck in this place and…and!

Rainbow: Twilight. Clam down, it will all be okay we always managed to get through this together, we couldn't have known what the results would be like, and yeah I can't fly as fast as I can anymore but my wings are still attached thanks to you, but it will all be okay!

Twilight: How can you be so sure? After everything that has happened how can you be so sure?

Rainbow: Because the twilight I know would never give up! You always managed to figure things out and save the day, it will be alright because we can figure this out together!

Twilight: Together?

Rainbow: Together!

After the events that played out and as days went by, our forms were altered, our names we all decided to change, and Ponyvile no longer being Ponyvile, well at least not the same as it was before.

All I can say in the end is if you somehow get this Princess Celestia all of Ponyvile is trapped in an unknown place, I don't know where we are but it's always night here, and all I can see is darkness and bright rainbow colors.

We are no longer alone, something is out there something beyond our knowledge it toys with the mind and I think I'm the one who created it, I can't tell if it's real or if it's all in my head, all I know is I'm the only one who can see it.

It calls itself the bogilimiquus and it came from the stars.

Nerco light: Who are you?

Bogilimiquus: I do not know, however I came from you.

Nerco light: From me? But how exactly?

Bogilimiquus: From you, I do know, but how exactly I do not.

Nerco light: Do you know why you're here?

Bogilimiquus: Same reason why you are here.

Nerco light: What? I don't understand! Wait where are you going come back!

Bogilimiquus: You will understand in due time, but for now enjoy the moments you have till that time comes.

I never knew what that interaction meant bu-

Ruinous: Nerco? What are you still doing up? Don't tell me you're writing to the Princesses again.

Nerco light: Ah! Gezz Ruinous you startled me! But yes I am, the last letters I sent didn't work I just UGHH I am trying I am but-

Ruinous: Sigh Nerco…..you need to sleep you're stressing yourself out way too much over this, I don't think we can reach the Princesses from here.

Nerco light: cries I know but I- sobbing

Ruinous: Hey! Hey, it'll be okay! We can find another way to reach the Princesses, but right now you need to rest (I hate seeing her like this)

Nerco light: Snuggles Okay Quitely sobs I'm just worried we'll never see home again…

Ruinous: Gently holds her I'm worried too, but we must not worry about that right now, everything will be fine I promise now let's get some rest okay?

Nerco light: Okay….

Why did you lie? Just why? You promised me everything would be fine! But you lied to me and now it's empty without you here, why did things have to turn out this way? You would still be here if it wasn't for me! Why did you lie Ruinous why?

Do you blame yourself?

What?

Well, it's quite common for you to feel some sort of guilt.

What do you mean?

The accident don't you remember?

In time we lie next to this place the stars shall aline as there will be a time when you will come to remember everything, and when you do remember there will be a time when you will invent blame in yourself or create a causality but within reality-

It was completely out of your control.

Little Fang - Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks: literally The Most Kris Song Of All Time, like do I even have to explain it. its just Them.

Real Love Song - Nothing But Thieves: this is a newer one on my kris playlist but i think it really fits their relationship with dess--taking the 'love' part in a familial/platonic way, 'can i sing this to you / got a thing about you / and it won't go away' i think this song really captures the sort of...hold dess's opinion always has over kris's sense of self, and the way they feel about her isn't exactly returned equally. in a sense this fits more with my dess-raises-kris au but it does work for kris in my other works too.

San Cristobol - Mal Blum: this is the dess song of all time to the point where it's my voiceclaim for her and is half the reason the band au exists. one big part of my dess is that she leaves voluntarily, even if she might get stuck in a dark world later on--she leaves ON PURPOSE, because she wants to. and this song is like, leaving people behind, 'sometimes i think i left you just to see if i'd be missed,' and sort of wanting to reach out but also maybe not. in a world where dess sings this she is singing it to asriel.

My Tiger, My Heart - The Boy Least Likely To: another dess song of all time, if the last one is dess singing to asriel, this one is her to kris&noelle. this song has been on my dess playlist for so long i've scripted out an animatic to it. specifically i see this as being a song for the space after she sees the bunker but before she leaves--like 'my tiger my heart / we're growing apart' in regards to how she sees kris, and then 'and i think it would be / happier / being free' LIKE. GOD. ITS SO GOOD.

Wash - Floor Cry: noelle about dess...specifically noelle as i write her in the holiday-dreemurr kids series, her pov fic in there was named after this song, but its just about. how you idolize your older sister and then she leaves and comes back and maybe isnt as good as you thought she was and you realize you're going to pick kris over her and so its about 'i never want to / become just like you / it's pretty simple / wish i could tell you why' because noelle struggles with this because she should be happy her sister is back, right? and yet...

Sidelined - The Garages: this is THE RALSEI SONG OF ALL TIME.....like. oh my GOD just listen to it. it's ralsei all the way down, how she struggles with figuring out who she is, with being a darkner, with the prophecy and the weight it puts on her, and how she's supposed to be left behind and forgotten but she doesn't want that and how scary it is to try and be a person when the world never wanted you to be one.

Pluto - Sleeping at Last: ANOTHER RALSEI SONG....this one specifically is in regards to the dess raises kris au lol since i explore ralsei/susie/noelle there but it works for ralsei in all universes. like just listen to it. it's so ralseicore. its similar in theme to sidelined so im not going to repeat myself but just 'i've been worried all my life / a nervous wreak most of the time' to the chorus of 'til one day i had enough / of the exercise of trust / i leaned in and let it hurt / let my body feel the dirt.' LIKE

and these are most of my big ones! i have more around somewhere but most of these i dont even have in a playlist i just sort of remember whenever the song comes on njdfgdfg. sorry theres not so much asriel or susie here i just dont have as good songs for them.

For Those of You Wondering Why I Never Posted Undertale “Shattered Remnants”

Hi Everyone,

You can thank this update to whoever liked my previous post recently in the last week or so. As I hadn’t realized the last post I made, was the same one from the year I lost both my dogs whom I had helped raise since puppyhood.

Since then, I have worked on this story/comic a few times. But I did set it down for a while now. I have a constant idea of how to retool it. And still have plans for it. E.G. when I get better at it I want to create a sort of animatic that will be almost a in story animatic, I have the story and concept already created a few years ago. Although, I did change the story beats of the animatic script slightly, only recently. 

However, I have adapted my style since loosing both of the dogs I raised since puppies and nearly since birth. I have two wonderful dogs now, but I do recall 2018 was a sorta hard year for me. Not that other years haven’t equally been hard, especially recent ones for the entire world.

The last few years I have been working on other stories. One of said “Other” stories I may have written a year or so after my last post, and is also Undertale.

It’s called “Under Rock Bottom” at the time, and even recently I don’t believe anyone has used this term for an Undertale AU. I tried to make sure with my names when creating them, that they hadn’t been used in the fandom.

This story was initially supposed to remain a fanfic. But after some time I came back to it, and also created fan art. As I’ve worked on making more comic style stories lately, I found I may want to make this one a comic as well. But I can’t be certain. I still think it most likely will come to happen.

This other Undertale story, takes place several years after the events of the ‘True Pacifist’ ending when several monsters start disappearing. It looks at how the world has changed and how events have forced several individuals to conflict and work together, even if it’s with their worst enemy. That’s all I have to say about it until I decide I want to post it. The prologue and the majority of the first chapter (possibly split into two chapters) has long since been written out. But it’s a matter of correcting things and ensuring I have several chapters ahead before I post it. I will someday do this, but I can’t promise it’s soon.

I can say with confidence that neither of my Undertale Comics/Stories have been abandoned. I just am working on other things that I have worked the last several years on and am far more satisfied with getting out in the present. I do think on these often and revisit one or both every other month. I was far along in the written story for my original Undertale AU. But it’s still not far enough. Considering my style has changed again drastically, it will take time for me to go through and rewrite chapters I had nearly completed. I also changed my job due to the pandemic and now work for a medical facility as a secretary. Considering it’s above minimum wage it has things that require more from me, and naturally I’m still trying to adjust to the schedule I now work on. With that said I don't’ have as much free time or the ability to stay up and work on things as I once had, and often took advantage of.

I admit, I know my story beats well, but I feel I want to trim things and unnecessary plot points down in the story before I get there. I also planned on it running for Three Separate Acts, which acted almost like Seasons to a show. Although, my currently in development project is similar in having three acts acting like seasons, considering this is a original story I’m currently working on, I just want to devote more time to it and getting it out there. As I’ve worked on making it the last year and a half and am proud of what I have accomplished. It’s not saying I’m not proud of my other works, but for the most part I want to devote my time to the two big projects I’m currently working on. Eventually when I have the time I hope to return my focus to these Undertale stories. Maybe sometime down the road I will get them out sooner then I originally thought. However, this most likely will be in the fiction form and not the comic form until I can better find the time for it.
