Just read the text kdin wrote and some of the responses to it and I feel like people are focusing too much on the actual saying of slurs, when to me it's a lot more telling that she had to wait for the people involved to change and learn and apologize to get closure, because hr would not do anything about it. People are gonna be shitty everywhere but like the basic job of hr is to adress the behaviour and ideally to make it stop. Also people aren't talking about the financial shit nearly enough. I guess it's easier to find something to criticize that is solely the fault of individuals, and to not see that the whole ship is rotten.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? Since Bruce's kids all love to play around and hide in his cape as Robins, I wonder if he makes them blankets out of the same materials as his cape so they can have a piece of security when Bruce isn't there?

I remember in Dick and Jason's older comics (correct me if I'm wrong), they used to stay up late waiting for Bruce when he'd go out as Batman alone, so I'm gonna take this as confirmation that all his kids have done this at some point.

So now I'm totally gonna hc that in order to encourage his kids to not stay up late for him or as a way to help them feel more safe and secure when he's not there, he makes them all blanket replicas of his cape for them to snuggle with :')

And also just imagine his kids all grown up, and they STILL have the blankets with them, regardless of if they've moved out.
