When you don’t speak up and your words become choked in your throat, you’re blocking your natural flow. When you go to the birthday dinner of the friend (who’s not really your friend) even though your soul is screaming not to, you block your natural flow. When you accept the soul-destroying job for money, despite promising yourself to take a risk on your business idea… You block your natural flow. And when this becomes a lifestyle, this is how you become the healthy person who is suddenly struck down with a serious health issue, this is how you end up with anxiety and depression, and lethargy, feeling so beat down by the world. When the truth is you simply betrayed yourself, you live for the world instead of your heart. But here’s the hot take, being in your flow is your superpower. It’s how you collapse timelines and completely transform your life in 3-6 months, it’s how you position yourself to be in the right place at the right time, it’s how you live authentically no matter how crazy it looks to everyone around you. Your soul is speaking to you in little whispers throughout the day, practise listening and taking actions from that place, the little whispers are guiding you back to your natural flow and from this place, to your souls home, to your freedom.

Cruel and harmful policies are being put into action in quick succession. I know this is terrifying and anxiety provoking; that’s the point, to hit the people with as many bad things as possible right off the bat, to wear us down and break our spirits. We can’t fall for it.
What’s necessary is to improve our mental fortitude and ability to endure. Find something you can do consistently to help others, to protest and fight back. Write things down, keep in contact with others, create a schedule for your resistant actions to form a habit.
The powers that be want us worn down and hopeless. Don’t give them that. You will not save the world but if you can help one person, it’s worth it. If you can put some good, some resistance into the world and tell people that this isn’t normal, and they’re not alone, it’s worth it.
Stand up, fight back, in whatever way you can.

Suad Ahmad @suad-khaled is an engineer from north Ghazzeh. At the beginning of the invasion, her home and workplace were both destroyed by the occupation. She had just found out she was pregnant. She and her family were displaced repeatedly, living in makeshift tents and on the streets until the birth of her son, Khaled, earlier this summer.
Khaled has an ongoing chest infection and related respiratory problems due to the collapse of sanitation and medical infrastructure. The little food and medicine available comes at highly elevated prices.

How to win this month…
Speaking life into yourself daily, no more judging yourself because you didn’t go for a run, or wake up at 5am. Choosing to love yourself unconditionally. Choosing to write those affirmations and stick them on the bathroom mirror, choosing to infuse your mind with loving, kindness, gratitude and all that yummy stuff on an hourly basis.
Focus on move the needle tasks. You want to write that book, loose 100 lbs, compete in the Olympics - whatever is your PRIMARY goal in life (and choose the primary one only), focus 100% on that task. Creating momentum around this one thing each and every day. Your primary goal should be your only focus. Secondary goals, are irrelevant. Nothing comes above your PRIMARY GOAL, and doing small little tasks each day to support this is how you make progress.
Organised days. As much as the feminine loves, flow, ease, loose unstructured days this truly does not bag you the life of your dreams. Break your day into 4 hour blocks, setting tasks in each block from when you wake up to the evening. This allows organised, focused, and productive days.
Using your resources wisely, if you’re still recovering financially from xmas, or on some kind of budget, ensure you spend wisely. Choosing health over aesthetic, choosing the Pilates membership over the designer trainers. The intolerance test over the sculpting facial. Investing in the inside before the outside is a priority. Making smarter financial decisions from a place of inner love.
Main character energy. Putting yourself first on a whole new level. No more thinking about the guy who you’re not even dating, no more putting mental energy into anything other than becoming your very best self. Period. If it’s taking mental energy from your purpose , from those move the needle tasks, from your organised days, from spending wisely. RE-ALIGN, create space and re-centre and get back on the track. We're winning the race this year.
