I don't know if anyone's noticed, but there's been a big ass drop in interactions for angst and fluff fics (fluff specifically, and I speak from experience).

so, before you all bash on smut writers, and make demands, how about you show some love to the already exciting fics that writers push out for you every day.

and before you all come to bash on writers for wishing people interacted more with their works, remember. fanfic is a free labor, the least you can do as a thank you, is show the writer some love. Okay?

insurance makes sense on a conceptual level but in reality insurance companies turn decently huge profits by a) relying on things not happening, which they mostly don't b) ensuring things mostly don't happen by exluding anything that might make "things happening" more likely and stacking it in their favour and then c) finding any excuse and loophole possible to not cover you if anything ever does happen

like. insurance would be good if it wasn't managed by insurance companies

100% one of the biggest contributors to the death of this site is attitude. i just kind of came off hiatusing tumblr and i can see 100 good reasons why i did and why i should keep doing it. people are so damn disrespect ALL the time now, like people are trying to grovel to get bits of respect. tags are afterthoughts and nobody actually really gives a fuck. culture on here is extreme and cliques amongst creators are so annoying, unnecessary and toxic and i genuinely don’t get what’s up everyone’s ass on here? like when did it get so hard to find genuinely nice people on here who a) support you and your work and b) don’t just leave passive aggressive notes wherever they go and c) aren’t caught chasing something that they’ll never get into, or get into happily and without constant fear of judegement
