"Viktor doesn't like physical tou—" LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER. That mf MELTS under Jayce's touch and the only times he rejects it are when:

Jayce pissed him off on the bridge (and even then just after that he lets Jayce guide him back to Piltover with a hand on his back)

He discovers the blueprints for the weapons (and before that he was returning Jayce's hug even if he was surprised)

As for other characters, Viktor does flinch when Singed touches him at the commune but also. It's Singed. No further explanations needed.

And even outside of Jayce:

He cuddles up to Vander in the astral plane while trying to heal him (I just really like this image ngl)

Similarly, though she's not real (and I personally see her as a manifestation of Viktor's humanity, guilt, and inspiration), Sky in the astral plane is shown to always stay close to him and reassure him through proximity and touch (both times when Jayce killed him). A manifestation of his need for companionship. He holds her hands so gently when he makes the decision to erase the rest of his humanity. Even then, his hands instinctively reach forward when she disappears- a part of him is still terrified at the prospect of being alone.

This is also going with the assumption that the Viktor we see in the astral plane is the closest to his real self we see after Hexcorisation, as opposed to how unexpressive his outer appearance is. We see it in the way his voice is also slightly distorted on the outside.

Anyway. Smother this cutie with hugs and kisses, he deserves it.

thought of the day: the way that everyone forgets noah and yet will be forever influenced by his presence in their lives is kinda appropriate for TRC as a coming of age story. do any of us truly, consciously know each person, event, or place that shaped us into the people we are today? though our consciousness forgets, their memory is inseparable from the way we go about life.

It's really tiring to see, when people are having discussions about Nettles and how integral her plot is, about how wrong with would be to give Rhaena that plot while ignoring/diminishing the one she originally had, about so many of the black characters are done dirty and disrespected in comparison to their treatment in the book (though they were white in the original text) to have all these necessary conversations, only to be met with responses "Oh, It's not bad/serious, you're just complaining/making things up" or about how grateful we should be to just have these characters, as we if don't have the right to critique how they are portrayed. Like, at this point, if you don't have anything of value to add to the conversation, then just stay out of it.

How terrifying it must be for you, oh brave protectors of the binary! To see me breathing, walking, persisting. An abomination in your orderly little world of pink and blue. I can only imagine the unbearable agony of your fear. You must lie awake at night, staring at your pristine ceilings, haunted by the specter of my pronouns.

I couldn’t possibly comprehend how terribly frightened you all must be of us. Truly, I am sorry to have unsettled you with my mere existence. What a burden it must be to see us, to hear us, to know we walk among you! The audacity! I shudder to think of the terror you feel when we, oh, I don’t know, ask to be called by our names or request not to be killed. Such radical demands, no wonder you’re all quaking in your boots!

Our pain, our suffering, our daily torment? A mere trifle! It’s not as though I wake every morning to find the weight of my identity pressing against my chest. It's not like its a scream buried so deep in my chest that I can feel it scraping my ribs every time I breathe. It’s not like we carry this anguish around like a warm, familiar blanket, clinging to it, wrapping ourselves in it, because at least it stays with us, at least it doesn’t turn away.

But please, tell me more about your suffering. Tell me how hard it is for you to live in a world where people like me exist. Tell me how we threaten your values, your traditions, your fragile sense of reality. Tell me how inconvenient it is to acknowledge that we are human, that we are here, that we are not going anywhere.

Let me assure you, with all the venom we can muster, we will not stop fighting and we will not stop living, no matter how much it offends you.

Because heres the thing: your fear, your hatred, your desperate, grasping need to erase us? It is nothing. It is hollow. It is the pathetic whimper of a world that knows it is dying.
