November is Diabetes Awareness Month A few years ago during his days in WWE, The Conglomeration's Kyle O'Reilly opened up about having diabetes. Here's what he said: "I’ve never been super candid or vocal about living with type 1 diabetes but since November is Diabetes awareness month I figured it was my responsibility to share some things that may help somebody else. This device on my arm is a continuous glucose monitor and it is basically my life line. I know how hard it can be living with diabetes. Injecting insulin or constantly stabbing your finger to test your blood at what always seems to be the prime inopportune moment. There are so many variables that make living with this disease difficult and every day is a struggle to maintain healthy blood sugars. I’ve been inspired recently by Chris Ruden and Kyle Kondoff two guys who are very comfortable in their skin and are very open about living with type 1 diabetes. I’ve been reminded that nobody has to travel this road on their own and having a support system is critical in diabetes management. Although there is no cure, medical technology continues to advance and having the EversenseCGM become a part of my life has really changed the game for me. I know how self conscious one can be with pump wires hanging out of your shirt or having to draw and inject insulin in the middle of a crowded restaurant, but that’s life. And having this device makes me feel like a cyborg which is cool too. If you or somebody you know struggles with this disease you’ve got someone cheering you on. If you care for a child with diabetes let them know they can achieve anything. Doctors told me a career in pro-wrestling would be impossible. I’m an NXT tag-team champion now. This is a mental grind as much as it is a physical grind and take each day with a new perspective and chance to be better than you were yesterday." As well, from a different interview, if you're curious about how he manages things: "On days where I’m on TV it seems like my insulin doesn’t really work. I think that’s cortisol and stress doing its thing. As soon as I’m done and I can settle back down it works again. Typically before matches I tend to run pretty high, but I think that beats the alternative of having a low. We all know what can happen there. So I have to be a little comfortable being high going into the ring. I might get a little more tired at the time, but I can manage that. As soon as I come back through the curtain, I take insulin."

Ooooooo for TFP Skystar you done know Megatron on some fucked up timing.

Example what if they after being denied funding to find Skyfire, falsely framed for his murder, jailed and stripped of all academic achievements Starscream was pulled in to the decepticon cause cause after freeing him from torturous years in jail Megatron promises Starscream they will find his partner.

Obviously it’s a lie but a desperate and pained seeker doesn’t need to know that. And then for millennia he uses that to control Starscream. Star never wanted to be in a war never wanted to do the things he did to get were he was now but here he is.

Imaging not long after the war comes to earth say Starscream is off ship for a mission and the crew of soundwave and Megatron found a distress signal in the artic. You know the rest but they don’t tell Starscream about it. Megatron contemplates how to use this discovery of the live bot. Obviously he has knockout place the Skyfire into a permanent stasis and threatens him not to tell Starscream that the stasis is medically induced instead of natural.

When Starscream returns and sees his lost unreciprocated love (he planned to tell him after the ice trip but you know) he is brought to literally chokes and screams as he runs to the body of the mech he loves. Before he could even get into an arms distance of him though Megatron grabs him roughly and starts the false narrative of his stasis and how he’ll need constant medical treatment to stay functional let alone wake up one day. And as much as he’d love to allow this they are at war and supplies like that aren’t cheap.

Que Megatron using Sky’s comatose body as some treat/reward for Starscream whenever he follows Megatron’s orders and if he were to disobey, a quick threat of having the “corpse” as Megatron refers to sky as scrapped for part, or sent to Shockwave for experimentation.

Unbeknownst to all though Skyfire is conscious, in a way. He can hear everything and sees the world around him via the sensors of his fields he wants to help Starscream and have them both leave but he isn’t strong enough for that. Maybe Megatron uses the neural link to gather info on Starscream from Skyfire’s mind to better manipulate Star and one day the link is left haphazardly and through some kinda luck Sky transfers himself either into A)The ship. B)A vehicon/eradicon.

A) Maybe one day the Autobots find Sky after using his new ship body he sends them coordinates and a potential happy ending.

B) In a new body he tell Starscream everything and they try to runaway together in a bit of a bittersweet ending or they stay years more to retry and get Sky’s original body back before they run off together.

Secret C ending) Starscream finds the neural link and enters Sky’s mind and together they live a life they always dreamed inside Sky’s mind. The mindscape making it seem like years but it is not. Outside Starscream set some kind of suicide device to take both him and Skyfire out one they’ve lived their fantasies or knockout and breakdown catch the encounter and either decides for the mercy kill after watching the fantasies play through on the monitor or they send Starscream & Sky into an ACTUAL perma-sleep so they can be together once more forever. Tell Megatron they fortune them like this Starscream probably did it and there is nothing they can do to fix it.

Maybe KOBD leave them like this or maybe they make it temporary and escape to defect to the autobots later taking the comatose bits with them to later wake up once the war is over.

Maybe they’ll use the neural link to talk to Starscream during their stasis and to take info on some con plans as they wait for the true peace time to truly wake them both up.

Oh wow, okay, damn

The inner scene of Megatron meeting Skyfire through the cortical patch for the first time has to be VERY interesting tbh

but also aughhhhh the idea of Starscream pursuing a psuedo-real new life with Skyfire within the cortical patch over the bleak reality on board the ship has me feeling things

Now, I want to give them a good ending, I want them to wake up when the war ends and they finally get to be together again in the real world too and everything works out in the end... but I feel like them dying in the cort patch is the most likely to happen.

I'm not the best at serious posts, but that article up there reminded me of how important it is that people like you stand up for us. So hold on while I try to get this out of my mushy end-of-work-day brain.

We could fight this fight ourselves for decades trying to reach the equal laws, gender affirming trans healthcare that doesn't have a 2-5+ soul-eating years of waiting time, medical care with equal knowledge of lgbtqia+ bodies, and, what is often forgotten, inclusion in the little everyday areas of life like our way of speaking or things being set up or designed with the existence of queer people in mind.

But you joining in could get us there so much faster.

The power you have as a hetero cis person is that you set the standard for what is seen as the average way of treating us among other hetero cis people. You have been given the power of deciding what's "normal" and I'm begging you to use it.

Richard Green is a great example of to what extent your actions can help our situation, and smaller ways of support still add up to a great impact on society, and could make the days of the queer people you interact with.

Educate yourself before you speak up, but don't be silent.
