Asking because I'm considering the idea of the Seven Birds as a pantheon and thinking it might be an interesting idea.

I want to treat them like a pantheon, but also I know they are the creations of the McElroy family. Is this allowed?

I want to write fics but I can’t write longer than 500 words. How do you write 30,000???????? Is there a trick?

There’s nothing wrong with that. Drabbles are fun and they’re a great way to start writing anything!

I don’t have a trick, so I can’t give you the answer that’s going to make you write 5k words the next time you sit down to write, buuuuuuuut never set a word count goal for a story you haven’t outlined because I guarantee you’ll be disappointed at the end.

Outlining is helpful for stories that need development in stages or stories that follow a structure (like the three act structure, for example), but you don’t have to outline everything you write if you don’t want to.

You’ll find what you’re comfortable with the more you write as long as you have fun.

sorry for my recent inactivity... i was busy with work and then i was finishing up this project here :3 i’ve been learning live2d since september (with some breaks) and i can now present the boy.. he has no name yet but i hope to be able to use him in art streams if my pc allows it!

i think “Binary” is by far my favorite TMA story so far. there are plot-heavy episodes i like more, but as a stand-alone story, Binary’s my favorite. there’s something about that really specific type of visceral technology-based horror that really appeals to me; like, the horror of AI, but not the “oh, what if they turn against us” kind of horror… the horror inherent in the idea of a human mind existing inside a machine. the only other thing that’s ever really captured that for me is the tumblr post “when you collect records” (which is maybe the most underrated horror story ever).

so, anyway, loved Binary. really passed the envy test for me. i wrote a short story based on the same general premise a while back, but this episode explored the idea in a super interesting way that i wasn’t nearly clever enough to think of.

I love this crazy bunch to death but some of the people here need to be slapped in the face and forced into the real world. We need the voice of reason, Katie! A necessary harsh reminder the world doesn't revolve around a fictional programme and our compassionless fantasies

WELL THANK YA VERY MUCH!!! I know a ton of other people, a lot of my friends in this fandom really, that are voices of reason as well. Very level headed, grounded people. Some of us ship (aka MEEeee) and some of us don’t but either way we’re very aware of the realities of canon and the show and the actors and whatnot.
