Hi. I'm a biologist of colour with PCOS. There is significant amount of error and misinformation here.
Hirsutism is NOT a diagnostic criterion for PCOS - let alone the most important one - it's one of many indicative symptoms which can include adult acne, infertility, "male pattern" excess hair growth and "male pattern" balding - There are not considered diagnostic criteria as these are secondary symptoms that occur due to excess testosterone.
The diagnostic criteria are all direct symptoms: you need 2/3 for official diagnosis: Irregular periods (self-reported), Visible cysts on ovaries (via ultrasound), and Excess "above range" Testosterone (via blood test),
When you test for what is considered a "healthy range" you have to exclude people who are unhealthy and exhibiting symptoms, as they will skew the data. Worst case scenario this can lead to people NOT getting the diagnosis and treatment they need because they are considered "normal" even while exhibiting secondary symptoms.
The 97.5th percentile is a common statistical tool that excludes the extremes of the data to set a realistic average range. When someone comes in with symptoms of a disease (in the example above, men with osteoporosis) and you test them and find their hormones are different to 95-97.5% of a healthy, asymptomatic population, you can then point at that hormone as a potential cause of disease and correct it.
I cannot describe to you how important it is to exclude people with the "makes too much testosterone" disorder, while testing a baseline population to get an idea of the "normal/healthy" levels of testosterone.
Because PCOS is so common (2-10% of the population depending on your statistical model) that bar/threshold for testosterone in women is set high. Likely because even while trying to exclude people exhibiting PCOS symptoms (including excess hair) so many people with underlying PCOS (and high androgens) are largely asymptomatic (half of cases accourding to the NHS), and either live their whole lives unaware or do not get tested until they have significant fertility or secondary health problems later down the line.
In my own case when I got my results back I was the third woman that *day* that my doctor had to call to say "sorry, your androgen results were quite high but technically within the normal range," likely because that 97.5 percentile bar they're using as a baseline is skewed by the fact that a huge proportion of women have PCOS, and even while exc they can't exclude us all from the baseline based on diagnosis, family history, and secondary symptoms obvious to doctors (like hirsutism) alone!
These are all tools made to inform individualised medicine: despite my "normal range" androgens I am currently taking Spironolactone (a testosterone reducing drug - commonly used in HRT) to combat the effects of PCOS because my "in range" hormones were still clearly too much for my individual body, and caused symptoms that made me unhealthy (anaemic and in severe pain due to periods + painful acne) and put me at risk of things like diabetes and heart disease later down the line.
This isn't about just arbitrarily excluding women with "too much" hair. But about setting a useful baseline for XX-female high-androgen disorders.
BECAUSE BEING ABLE TO ACCURATELY DIAGNOSE PCOS IS A GOOD THING.
The linked study above that was immediately dismissed as weird and racist, looked at the symptoms of a diverse group of american women with PCOS, and found preliminary data that the areas of skin that respond to high androgen levels (due to PCOS) differ depending on race. (for example - African Americans commonly developed facial hirsutism under their chins, while hispanic individuals were more likely to develop it on their arms and legs).
STUDIES LIKE THIS ARE GOOD, ACTUALLY, BECAUSE IF WE ONLY HAVE DATA FOR WHITE PEOPLE, POC WILL BE UNDERDIAGNOSED.
These kinds of studies are important, because it tells dermatologists where to look for secondary symptoms of PCOS in their patients, which is important because 92% of people with PCOS have symptoms affecting their skin, and 1 in 4 undiagnosed people are referred for PCOS diagnosis by a dermatologist.
IN CONCLUSION: This isn't about defining "woman" or "normal female" or setting "arbitrary" "spider eating" statistical rules for what is an acceptable testosterone range. It's about creating an accurate model for disease, which despite potentially affecting 1/10 people with uteruses, is massively underresearched and underdiagnosed. Because of medical misogyny. And racism to boot.
It's true that huge swathes of medical practice are rooted in misogyny and racism, and uphold a gender and sex binary that is, in reality, far more flexible and complicated than historic tests would allow for, but this post is inaccurate and relies on borderline deliberate misinterpretation of the medical data to make that point.
I forget why, but I was on the Wikipedia page for polycystic ovarian syndrome, and I started researching hirsutism in women, and I learned the following things in this order:
there's a diagnostic criteria used to evaluate how hairy a woman is
This is important because being too hairy is a diagnostic criteria of most disorders that cause hyperandrogenism
Disorders that cause hyperandrogenism can be diagnosed by...measuring how hairy you are (this is the main and most important diagnostic criterion for PCOS)
Disorders that cause hyperandrogenism are important because they are correlated with obesity, infertility, and...being too hairy?
I think to myself, wait, what is a normal range for testosterone in women? I find this article...which set reference ranges for "normal" testosterone levels in women...EXCLUDING WOMEN WITH PCOS?
Quote: "Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is another notable condition in genetic (XX) females, which is characterized by excessive ovarian production of androgens. This condition is included for comparison with DSD, as the affected females with PCOS are genetic and phenotypic females. The elevated levels of testosterone in these females can lead to hyperandrogenism, a clinical disorder characterized variably by hirsutism, acne, male-pattern balding, metabolic disturbances, impaired ovulation and infertility. PCOS is a common condition, affecting 7%-10% of premenopausal women."
So: the study claims to demonstrate a clear distinction between the normal range of hormone levels in "Healthy" men and "healthy" women...with "healthy" being defined in the study as...having hormones within the "normal" range.......................
So I researched what the clinically established "normal" range for testosterone in women is
THERE ISN'T ONE????
Quote from the above article: "Several different approaches have been used to define endocrine disorders. The statistical approach establishes the lower and the upper limits of hormone concentrations solely on the basis of the statistical distribution of hormone levels in a healthy reference population. As an illustration, hypo- and hypercalcemia have been defined on the basis of the statistical distribution of serum calcium concentrations. Using this approach, androgen deficiency could be defined as the occurrence of serum testosterone levels that are below the 97.5th percentile of testosterone levels in healthy population of young men. A second approach is to use a threshold hormone concentration below or above which there is high risk of developing adverse health outcomes. This approach has been used to define osteoporosis and hypercholesterolemia. However, we do not know with certainty the thresholds of testosterone levels which are associated with adverse health outcomes."
What the fuck?
What the fuck?
It's batshit crazy to make a diagnostic criteria for medical disorders by placing arbitrary cutoffs within 2-5% of either end of a statistical distribution. What the actual fuck?
"The results came back, you have Statistical Outlier Disease." "What treatments are available?" "Well, first, we recommend dietary change. You should probably stop eating so many spiders."
Another article which attempted to do this
Quote: "Subjects with signs of hirsutism or with a personal history of diabetes or hypertension, or a family history of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) were excluded."
"We're going to figure out the typical range of testosterone levels that occur in women! First, we're going to exclude all the women that are too hairy from the study. I am very good at science."
Anyway I got off topic but there are apparently race-specific diagnostic tools for "hirsutism." That's kinda weird on its own but when I looked more into this in relation to race I found this article that straight-up uses the term "mongoloid"
#haha jk guys. PCOS isnt real. Doctors diagnosed me with a devastating lack of transgender swag and went 'put this bitch on spiro STAT!'#also this leaves out the huge amount of self advocacy that you have to do in the medical system especially as female presenting and a poc#and also I could not open that last link to verify because it just gave a linking error#I don't doubt it nor am I defending the use of the word here but definitely wasnt used in the first paper linked#I get that people look at medical journals and feel overwhelmed by jargon too and just skim read#but this is a lot of BOLD statements. based on things read on Wikipedia and skim read.#all the stats are pulled from that paper and the NHS website btw#long post#anyway if you got this far fjdjfjd well done#net zero information ig#also. had to leave out the complexities of how the baseline *could* and *has been* historically misused against women#particularly WOC#but also against intersex people#because god. the post is already so long already#brevity is not my strongest suit sorry. hopefully legibility is though.#oh also one extra tidbit for the tags. you can just. ask. to go on spironolactone#if you have the acne symptoms particularly#but if youve tried the pill and it didnt work/broke your brain and all the other medicines failed to make a dent. you can just... ask......#shout out to spiro man. that little purple dragon innit. 💜#i fucks w him#this is a fucking meme blog why did i go autism mode and write all this.#got so angry.... and for hwot.

How am I racist? Other people are constantly trying to get through to you about transmisogyny and you instead choose to constantly try and hide behind being black, acting like that makes you immune from transmisogyny. You can still hurt transfems of any race with the way you talk about opression. You think men are an opressed class who's so so victimized by the mean women and fems of the world that you wont listen to those same actually opressed women.
Maybe if you were more willing to listen onstead of bloack a bunch of us every time we disagreed with you, you would u deratand how you're perpetuating more misogyny than any trans woman/fem whos using a few words not perfectly.
Btw, the standards you put on our words isn't fair and then you turn around and demand we be okay when your word litteraly implues we can opress you.
You should be ashamed of yourself.
How are you racist? How are you r a c i st?? You have to be kidding me! This must be a joke. Your laugh of the day. Your haha of the week.
I d not hide behind being black. Youre sick for implying that. Like many black people before me I beg my community to remember the nuances that come with my race when they talk and a bunch of them spit in my fucking face. They tell me they want the right to opress me (As if their whiteness doesn't already allow that) or they try and argue how another class of trans women is still below me in their sick opression math. They are not below me because this is not a ranking of who has it worse. Me and trans women are working together to rid the world of transphobia.
I have never on my ENTIRE blog said that men are so opressed by women. Words in my mouth moment!! I have said that the patriarcy, a system of opressions, opresses men and encourages the worst in human behavior to survive and be safe.
Those womens opression doesn't matter more than mine. All of our opression matters equal ly. We are all fighting for our rights and safet. There is no reason we need to form a line and force someone to wait a turn. I am not speaking over woman to call out the abuse to to trans men, trans masc, and other nonbinary people. Nor is it speaking over women to make sure intersex voices are included and heard when its said that negtive stereotypes and standards of men hurt them too.
Funny you claim I block all of you but you seem to have no clue how many have me blocked on the word of a racist discourse blog or who blocked me after I rightfully call out their racist remarks. It grossed me out that you assume I can't hold good faith discussion and not that maybe some of you blocked me first for talking at all. Also lmao guilt tripping me for using my block feature to keep my spaces safe and comfortable. Why, did I block your main and you've bee seething?
I'm not bothered by a few incorrect words. I'm litterally pissed at the racism, exorsexism, and blantant transphobia thats been thrown my way and the way of many other trans people at this point in an attempt to stop us from speaking about opression that affects us.
*Slow clap* What standard? The standard not to write transphobic ass shit about trans men/masc? Where you blantanly lie about our experiences ? To the point you're also lying about our nonbinary experiences? To the point where your lying about intersex and multigender and even sometimes other different trans womens experiences? I watch this happen in resl time and you have the audacity to ckme in my inbox and tell me I'm word policong you? Right before admitting you don't want us to have our word bc you still won't learn it's definition!! Fuck.
I am proud of myself. I am so proud of my beautiful nonbinary black fucking ass that you WISH you could have what I do.
#g speaks#transandrophobia#transphobia#racism#racist anons#exorsexism#intersexism#sorry to the transandrophobia tag for so many anons im done now tho#i just got like a lot and im so tired im snapping a lil on some of em#okay bedtime

hello!! thank you for opening your asks, I appreciate it! I really really appreciate your blog and all its resources so much.
recently I took a picture from behind of bending over and spreading my bum cheeks. (gosh that’s weird to say but it’s needed explanation I think haha).
one thing weird was it looked like I have some kind of? additional thing above my anus? Like there’s the line of genitals and stuff and then there was just an extra dot or something, I couldn’t really see, above it, and it has the same different colour of skin + more hair around it as other parts. it could just be a pimple or something, but it was strange / noteworthy / confusing because of how the hair + skin colour followed it like it was another piece of anatomy. I really hope this explanation makes sense. 😅
anyway, I’m wondering what the heck that could be? for context, I am an AFAB person with a vulva (although I may be intersex, I’m not sure), and I’m on testosterone HRT.
thank you!!!!!
Hey!! Always love answering questions, so no problem! I'm so glad you're enjoying it, I really love doing this and its helped me so much, so to know other people are getting something out of it as well is wonderful.
Now. You're definitely right that it could be a pimple! Or even just a scar from a pimple. But [and take this with a grain of salt], you might want to get it checked out in case it's a pilonidal cyst. If it's swollen and/or kinda like a dimple, especially.
They're cysts that form specifically around the crease of your ass and they're actually very common.
They're not contagious or generally fatal but if you can, getting them checked out is a good idea because while they CAN go away on their own, they can also become a chronic condition or get severely infected. [More info here and here.]
Not guaranteeing that's what you're dealing with! I'm actually not sure what you've got going on but it does sound kinda like a cyst, so I thought I'd mention it.
If it's not a cyst or a pimple/scar, I'm not sure exactly what it is but I'd definitely try to take another picture to get a better look and test if it's sensitive and/or painful.
Painful is a "get this checked out" sign, just sensitive is a "you can probably wait and see if this becomes a pimple".
Not sure how much this helps because, ngl, this is a little out of my area of expertise but I hope something here helps! Let me know if you have any other questions. <3

I lost the post before I could add my commentary to it but there is a particular post going around about Tumblr flagging men's bodies and discussion of their bodies as inappropriate, and it is very strange to see people reacting with "haha lol" to Tumblr just... being intersexist. Like, I want you all to understand this – if Tumblr is flagging posts that talk about falling outside the sex binary or having intersex conditions or even just having similar experiences to intersex ones as being "inappropriate", that is not, in fact, a haha funny moment. That is bigotry. Tumblr flagging a post about men talking about their intersex conditions or conditions that are similar to intersex ones is not funny, it is bigotry. It is intersexism. No, it does not matter if the intersex people are cis, it is still shitty, and you should not be laughing at them being silenced and told their own bodies are inappropriate. Idk if anyone will know the post I'm talking about but for those who do – maybe think twice before treating intersexism as a joke.
(I don't mean this to be harsh, because I get having internal biases or just not realizing this. But the next time you see a joke about cis people's bodies being policed in any way, try to remember cis intersex people and the discrimination they face. Oppression based on the sex and gender binaries is not a trans-only experience. I am so frustrated at how often people make fun of intersex people under the guise of "punching up" at cis people, or under the impression that being cis is the only requirement to fitting within the sex and gender binaries, and the rules associated with them.)

Hi fungers. Do NOT read this it's just me rambling about my funger 1 body hcs so I don't forget them. I love you ♡
Starting off with my wife, Cahara. I think he's medium height, shorter than Enki and Rag so like 175 cm. I think he'd be pretty tan and have a bit of a red/orange undertone. His hair is thick and wavy and it seems like he has made a decent attempt at taking care of it. On a similar not idk what kind of skin care and what not they had back there but he certainly takes care of his appearance. He needs to look good for his wife obviously.
This man is not as stinky as he looks. I'd like to think he showers daily but he can get rid of the candle and old book smell on his skin and clothes. He probably reads books in the bath. Anyway he is quite thin and malnourished but also has a fat ass and slutty waist??? Like why do you need that?? Also a bit taller than Cahara 180.5 cm or some shit idk I'm making it up.
This man is huge. Comically. 187.2 cm and jacked. Guys, you'll never guess who I find most attractive. Anyway, he is the idea of a Greek God body to me. He's tan like Cahara but has less color because he lives and breathes snow. Fat tits??? Yes um I think so. I'd also like to think he doesn't use soap when he washes himself but somehow isn't stinky. He just smells like ash and damp forest but it isn't bad.
.... 17 cm, uncut, red tip- 🔫💥💥💥💥 woah guys who said that haha what
My favorite girlfailure. I don't even like girls but I'd let D'arce fck the shit out of me. Anyway sorry about that. I'd like to think she's got a bit of a tan from training outside and freckles scattered here and there. She is strong woman and has a healthy amount of muscle and fat but her body is mostly lean. I am a tiny titty D'arce ENTHUSIAST and ACTIVIST. Justice for tiny titty girls I see you I love you. 168.5 cm I love her she's so dear to me.
STINKY !!!! UGGOO!!!!! sorry I have a raging love hate relationship with this fuckass. I think he looks really silly in his sprite for no reason lmao. Anyway this man is ETHEREAL just absolutely gorgeous. I wish Miro made him look more feminine in the game do girl Le'Garde justice. He defiantly only takes bubble baths like a fucking loser. He's 176.7 cm and is like weirdly insecure about not being taller?? I feel like if you jokingly called him short he'd throw a hissy fit.
Nosramus also looks really silly in their sprite oh my god. Honestly I think Nosramus is intersex and just refuses to choose either or. They're pretty pale from being away from sunlight for so long and have a yellow undertone. They are surprisingly not stinky and take care of themself somehow and it's unclear what access they have to water or soap. They just always smell clean no matter what.

Do you ship trailblazer with someone (fem and male), also what sexuality headcanon do you have for Topaz
I absolutely despise 99% of Trailblazer ships so no, honestly. I think it’s because TB ships are partly self inserts and I do not ship myself with any of the characters so no not really.
However, I do like the idea of Fireblazer, but it was executed pretty terribly. It’s fun in my head though.
As for Topaz, in canon I think she’s just a cis lesbian or at least sapphic, however the creature running around in my brain is an intersex, nonbinary and bisexual disaster, who presents femininely and has a femme preference (I really wish I liked more sapphic Topaz ships beyond just finding TopaJade interesting, because I wanna give our resident milf hunter the woman she deserves) so there’s that lmao.
Also random ass sketch of Topaz I did yesterday (no I didn’t finish it at all I’m LAZYYY)
God I love them.
I adore canon Topaz too of course, but sometimes it’s just fun to OC-ify characters. If you’re wondering why I gave her melanin honestly I don’t have a deep reason for it, it just looks good lmao. Lighter skinned Topaz is also great (especially considering her home planet seems to be of Slavic origin), but I think brown looks really good w their color palette which is why I changed it, so please don’t throw hammers at me 😭
Honestly in terms of story they are all relatively close to canon (although at least for Topaz, I make it so the IPC deliberately waited for the point of no return on their planet and she still doesn’t know about it bc angst Mmm).
Ratio is pretty close to canon because they cooked w that one + all the wild ass theories about him I make (and the being trans thing haha)
As for Aventurine, his story is also rather similar but I honestly don’t really like his canon design that much so maybe I should give him a redesign. His outfit is so ugly I’m sorry. I am Aventurine’s outfits’ number one hater and besides the colors it’s just not for me

WHo do you think out of the turtles would be the most likely to be in a relationship/date? Most everyone says Leo, but I'd say Donnie actually, since he's the one who's shown to have the most interest in that kinda of stuff with ex he's comment about the tomato lady in the 'War And Pizza' episode. But what do you think?
I’m late with this reply sorry! But I haven’t thought too hard about romance for the boys tbh! Any time I come across stuff with it in this fandom I’m mainly just like “cute” and move on haha.
That said, I do agree that Donnie is the one who has canonically shown the most interest out of them, and I personally am super tied to the headcanon that he’s bi with a heavy lean to women.
For Leo, I’ve mostly not thought of sexuality headcanons or romance for him, for headcanons and the like I mostly just heavy headcanon him as trans/intersex, but if I had to pick one I honestly adore him also being bi like Donnie, but with a heavier lean to men since I like the thought of them being two sides of the same coin, but different haha. I will say too that I vibe strong with Leo being more on the ace spectrum as well, maybe demi or grey.
That being said, beyond Donnie being bi with a preference for women and Leo being trans/intersex, I’m way more open and nonspecific in regard to headcanons like this, as again I don’t really think about any romances for this fandom much, I’m moreso a fan of family/friend orientated content haha. I like how vast and varied people are with their headcanons though, it’s nice to see people interpreting characters in different ways.
#non au ask#yeah I’m not too big on shipping and stuff for this fandom weirdly enough! if I see any I’m like oh cute but not much more than that#I DIDNT TALK ABOUT MIKEY OR RAPH honestly same as Leo I haven’t really thought about it!#pan is nice tho

Hello there! My name is Professor Bellamy Amaryllis, though most people who know me call me Amy. My kid @eartheats encouraged me to make an account on here- I guess that's what all the cool kids are doing nowadays, haha!
I’m agender and intersex and use They/He pronouns- She for some specific people as well. I'm Polyam, as well, so no need to go telling my partner about seeing me out and about- I assure you she knows!
If you were a child or have been around children anytime in the last 7 years you might know me as the Wild Guy, from my TV show Professor Amaryllis’s Wild Days! While I've been off the air for a year or so it's bloomed in popularity even still- it's hard to go too far without someone knowing who I am, hah!
I'm a poison specialist (though I have an affinity for fairy types as well) and one of the overseeing professors at the Goldenrod Ecological Society, really just a fancy title for the person who makes sure all the science is ethical, reliable and well documented. It's a lot of admin and outreach work and while it keeps me busy it's quite fulfilling.
This is a personal account, so I’ll be talking more about my life than my job, so sorry if you’re looking for a blog of just pokemon facts, because this certainly is not it.
//This is a soft reset of amy- you may notice that a good 90% of post from 2023 have been deleted! I realized that my early rp was not in line with what i'm doing with amy going forward! most plots, major events, and interactions from that time have been Retconned or Rewritten!! if you have questions feel free to DM me!
Hello!!! My name is Rabbit and I’m an adult, so be warned that there may be suggestive themes at times on this blog! I also will be doing some high stakes stuff!
I don’t interact with sentient pokemon or eebie deebies with very few and select exceptions (if you arent sure, ask!), and I’m picky about players with legendaries as well, as I have a specific cannon I’m working with!! No magic anons, crossover blogs, crack rp, or dream mail, though some peliper mail sent to amy's GES location is acceptable (within reason!! no magic anon but item things ahaha)
Amy’s a flawed character so please keep in mind that not everything he says is the objective truth! He can be biased, emotional, unprofessional and he can and will lie, though he prefers to tell half truths and avoid topics first.
Amy has a very detailed past, and he has his secrets and motives!! there’s usually at least something going on under the surface hehe so I wish you luck in trying to puzzle this man out! This character is my own personal Pepe Sylvia red string board and I enjoy playing him that way :)
I hope we can have fun together, but please please please remember that there is a person behind this blog, be nice!! or at least just not incredibly hateful. some negative asks can be fun but think before you send things please.

Gabriel has a lichtenberg scar from a fight with a fellow angel or heavenly entity that he was not on good terms with. - - Also generally a lot of scars. A fuckton. Metric ton, even. Eleven donuts worth, if we're going American.
Mad levels of anxiety. He struggles with GAD + panic attacks on a regular basis but has been able to maintain it after a while especially with the help of his husbands / start of living with them and working out the past issues.
I really like the idea of Gabriel being deeply into gardening, knowing the meanings of SO many flowers and sketching various things, don't get me wrong (+ he DEF has impostor syndrome) but. But hear me out.
TEA ENTHUSIAST! (I love tea, so I'm def projecting some.) And I love the idea that he just has a stash of tea + books he has found lying around about herbalism, medicinal properties of herbs, etc. Definitely has a mortar and pestle, makes his own spice mixes, has various tea strainers (maybe he'd find or make some cute ones, IDK) and so on
I go back and forth on his appearance, if it is even visible at all, so on. I like the idea that he is half oriented around the whole "biblically accurate angel'' portrayals but also has the head of an animal, specifically slightly lamb-leaning. I have more reasoning that it just being for religious symbolism, but I also won't deny that plays a part in it.
I also based his appearance somewhat off of the black and white art of the gate guardian from the SCP universe / Dr. Clef's Proposal for SCP-001 <3
Gabriel is intersex in my au
(This totally has nothing to do with my love of lichtenberg scars + lightning and storms or anything... /s)
V1 (humanoid ish/prime soul adjacent, I ought to get into detail about the AU but... bla bla, brevity bla bla, I digress) has a deeply uncanny face / appearance on the reg. It can't fully control it but even in the few moments where it has more power over its body it just typically chooses not to. It does get hurt though when people immediately get startled by its appearance but it "got used to it after a while"
Because I'm evil and a massive faggot V1 is in a harem w/ like. 99% of the ULTRAKILL cast. (Ignoring filth, sentry's, maurice', drones, virtues, et cetera/anything similar) - - Like dude kisses Gabriel, Minos, V2, Sisyphus, Ferryman, MDK, etc. ALL GOODNIGHT! And not even with the lights off, either... what a homo!
Learned pottery / how to mess with clay and ceramic type making things from the Ferryman. Violently enthusiastic over the concept of using its hands, very into craftsmanship. Would likely be a carpenter and/or "tinkerer" in life.
Used to reconstruct and deconstruct its body regularly (both for healthy and unhealthy reasons) but had to stop at Minos behest after getting caught one too many times.
Dissociates heavily. Sue me, I love and know the lore, I reread the wiki a disgusting amount but damn it! I love my own fanon.
Very curious about weather patterns
I'll try to think of more HC's for the others, but this is it for now haha + omg I just saw 1:11 on my clock. (I am tired)
one random and final headcanon: I'm really clinical over the idea of transfem minos. I feel like we deserve some transfem rep in ultrakill ngl Like obviously I love my transmasc homies, (I'm.. somewhere in an entirely different area of transgenderism at this point, transmasc no longer fits me, but again, I digress), and maybe I'm not looking in the right places, but I really feel like I do not see a lot of transfem or slightly unspecific fem variations of ULTRAKILL characters. I am ALLL for various depictions and I crave MORE MORE MORE! Perhaps I just need to scour the internet more

Pinned Post Time
He/him Seth or Set or Setka or Jean-Set. I have a lot of nicknames ADHD haver/survivor (depending on your POV) Over 18 Jewish (Bukharan) Linguistics + Religious Studies double major, on accident In order to answer the "are you white or not" question we need to discuss the construct of whiteness as it applies to Central Asia in your country of origin and frankly neither of us has time for that.
Fandom stuff would normally go here but I bounce from fandom to fandom. I don't believe in shipping only one thing and I think calling yourself "a Zutara" or "a Reyfinn" or whatever is ridiculous. It's internet Barbies, not a religion. It's not that serious.
DNIs get ignored but for the record, I'm pro-MOGAI, pro-endo, pro-trans, pro-intersex rights, pro-self diagnosis (even if you don't get it right, turning to your provider and going 'I have the following symptoms' is useful), pro-whatever group of lesbians is getting dragged on tumblr today be they split attraction model users or ace or bi lesbians or what have you, radical inclusionist, anti intersexism and medical abuse, anti biological essentialism, you don't need dysphoria to be trans, respectability politics are worthless, men aren't inherently evil actually, pro-interracial couples because no matter what antis say people are equals actually, and pro-kink.
If you think legal = moral and illegal = immoral, you are wrong. There are four states in the US where you can marry a minor at any age as an adult and have sex with them. That is legal. That is immoral. There are many countries where being queer is illegal. It is illegal and moral. Appeal To Legality is a logical fallacy that refuses to acknowledge anything could be wrong in the legal system. I should not have to explain to you why that's an incorrect statement.
Black Lives Matter. Stop Asian Hate. Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women deserves more attention than we're giving them. ACAB. Never Again Is Right Now. Hamas is a terrorist organization and Palestine deserves to be free from them as much as it deserves to be independent, and if you excuse Hamas committing rape, child rape, and murder, you are not pro-Palestine, because Palestinians have condemned those acts and frankly, everyone should.
Death threats, rape threats and suicide bait are always bad. They further drive people into extremism when you do it to extremists, they harm people in any scenario, and they reveal to me that you never wanted to be a good person, you just wanted to be cruel in a way that you can excuse as being 'good'. You're not good. A good person does not do these things.
If your discussions around mental health involve demonizing people who are low/no empathy or treating people with psychosis as evil, please know you are displaying no empathy and being evil. And I find that genuinely sad, but I am also going to block you.
Sometimes I'm ignoring you. Sometimes tumblr genuinely eats asks. I have asks on my main that have been there, hovering, invisible, for a year. I don't know why. But also sometimes ADHD kicks in and I mean to reply and for that, I apologize.
If you start a conversation, you do not get to cry about people replying to what you posted publicly where anyone could reblog and reply. Pretending people are "harassing" you for replying is either an attempt at using language to manipulate the situation or a sign that you are highly immature even for a minor.
If you use the "haha me no read reading iz bad lmao" excuse, you have forfeited all right to being taken seriously, not just by adults, but by children. You are also going to be incredibly easy to manipulate by everyone around you due to your inability to read with comprehension. I pray no one uses this to abuse you, but I'm also going to block you, because frankly, I don't know how to help in this situation.
I have had an anti send me CSEM in the past to "punish" me for writing a romance between a 50 year old and a 56 year old. I reported them to the police. They are now serving 30 years for possession of CSEM and if you try anything similar, I have no problem doing the same to you. (If you're wondering why I don't believe antis when they say they're protecting kids, this is why.)
Depiction isn't synonymous with endorsement. Shipping isn't activism. Fandom isn't activism. One real person is worth the death of every blorbo you and I hold dear put together.

alright so here’s the thing. im making a story abt two little freaks in love and i want to hear other opinions on it.
The following content contains discussions about murder/violence, cannibalism, sex, child abuse and forced surgery onto intersex people, specifically children/adolescents, also known as medical abuse. Please, proceed with caution.
so. the main characters in this lil thing im writing are Lily and Nick, short for Elizabeth and Nicholas. Lily was born with ovotesticular syndrome, while Nick was born with partial androgen insensitivity. they both meet in their senior year of high school, specifically in the nurse’s office. they bond a lot during their adolescence, specifically over the fact that they were both being abused by their fathers. Lily’s abuse was emotional and sometimes physical. Nick’s was verbal and spiritual. they both suffered medical abuse.
Nick was forced into a surgery because of his gynecomastia, which left him with permanent scars that he is very ashamed of. Lily was forced into a procedure that would remove her testicular tissue. her father decided to perform it himself, since he was a doctor. it did not go well, and not only did it leave very a bad scar, she was also left infertile afterward, due to her father messing it up somehow (haven’t decided on the specifics yet).
after all their pent up anger and hatred towards their fathers builds, they both decide to kill their own father(s). they meet in the woods, both dragging bloody bags the size of bodies behind them. not saying anything, they decide to run away together, surviving off the flesh of the people they hate the most.
what follows is them killing, and sometimes eating, the ones they feel deserve it (usually people in positions of power), moving across the country, hiding from the police, and eventually, developing romantic and sexual feelings towards each other. they feel like they are the only people who can truly love, understand and respect each other. their trust has been so broken by the world around them forcing them to endure such horrors, that they can only trust themselves. it’s the only way they know that they won’t be hurt. because they could never hurt each other. neither of them could live with hurting the other.
the whole story is supposed to be, essentially, a love letter from an autistic intersex horror author to the slasher community and over the top internet creepypastas. it’s about people being so scared of being hurt again, that they kill and maim anyone they suspect of being capable of hurting them. it’s about falling in love with the things you thought others saw as horrific and disgusting. it’s about finding love in the most decrepit, gory places. its about unlearning the idea that wanting to be romantic with someone and wanting to have sex with someone doesn’t make you filthy, it never has. it’s about cannibalism as a metaphor for romance.
im very passionate about these two little weirdos, in case you missed it, and am looking forward to writing about them and their relationship. im especially interested in the one sex scene i have planned for the two, as i feel like it’ll be a really good way to show how close they are/how much they trust each other, how much they love each other and their insecurities, and because you don’t really see intersex people having sex in media (unless said media is making a joke about their body, cause haha their body looks like this, and that makes them ugly!!!! haha aren’t ugly people so gross?? god, micropenises are sooo funny haha/sarcasm) im especially excited cause i plan on having them kiss and caress each other’s scars and then them loving the parts the other hates the most, and Lily ensuring Nick that it’s not filthy to want to be intimate with someone while having scars, and Nick telling Lily that she’s not broken and she’s always been lovable, and then they kiss and touch each other’s scarred bodies and they’re so in love and aaaaaaa
i just really love these two little freaks and wanna share my thoughts about them with people (even if a very small amount of people are gonna see it). i also wanted to know if anything about it could be seen as offensive. like, i don’t find any of it offensive, but im not the spokesperson for intersex people, we don’t have one. i just wanted to get some different perspectives, different opinions, see if anything came across as kinda wrong. (other than the murder and cannibalism, obviously).
i think im mostly just scared of people reading it and watering both of them down to “cis people with disorders”, even though their intersexuality is a key element to the story. maybe i just hear too much about discourse on tiktok and this won’t be an issue. idk.
why do i even bother with that little note at the end, no one’s gonna see this lmao
#horror art#horror literature#intersex art#cannibalism as a form of love#love these little weridos <3#horror romance#dark romance#autistic artist#autistic author#is anyone even reading this#feedback wanted#intersex artist#what am i even saying#aaaaaa#intersex

Hi! Hypoandrogenism + oestrogen intolerant anon here! Thanks for answering! (I didn’t get a notification from tumblr for some reason? And I thought I checked before sending the other ask— oops)
(Also, interestingly enough, my doctors actually tested me for the stuff you listed (and more)! The testing ended up with the results being “[my] body idiopathically doesn’t produce enough testosterone [i.e., hyperandrogenism] and [my] body makes enough oestrogen (and progesterone), but reacts negatively to [the normal and healthy amount it produces] [i.e., causes me to get (really) sick] for seemingly no reason/it’s also idiopathic rather than any specific [thing]”. Which, on one hand, yay answers. On the other, I feel like I didn’t quite my “am I intersex or am I overthinking” question. At this point, I’m inclined to think I’m overthink it lol)
No worries at all, I think I posted it like right after you sent the first ask!
Also that's so interesting! Glad to hear that I was (mostly) on the same track as your doctors haha, it's nice to know when my thoughts were in the right direction. It's always really fascinating to me just how many ways of being intersex there are, and how many new ways we're discovering. It definitely sounds like you have an idiopathic intersex variation and I think you definitely count and are welcome to identify as intersex and participate in intersex community. I think it can be so confusing when like, every definition of intersex is slightly different and when you can't see your diagnosis written on a list of "Intersex diagnoses" but you are absolutely welcome in intersex community.
Anyway, hope you have a fabulous night anon!!

what's your opinion on tall people?
You're asking me this because I'm short, aren't you? Dick.
I'm jealous, honestly. Really do wish I was taller. But I'm not, so instead here I am.
I don't have an opinion otherwise, aside from "if you're tall and sit in the middle of the front row of a venue, you're a fucking arsehole." If you need to see, at least get a seat on the sides so you don't inconvenience other people. This is the reason I prefer the back row at the pictures. It's the only way I can see.
Really do wish I was tall(er) though. 5'10" would be fine for me. 5'8", even. Those are perfectly normal male heights. Even 5'6". But 5'2"? Haha. No. Sucks.
Also I can't FUCKING REACH ANYTHING. AAAAA I'M TIRED OF CLIMBING ON COUNTERTOPS FOR SHIT I NEED! I USE MY SON LIKE A GRABBER! "Sonboy, I'm gonna give you a boost and I need you to grab that jar ok? Yeah the red one. Hold it tight." THREE YEAR OLDS CAN'T BE TRUSTED TO HOLD ANYTHING TIGHT.
Anyway yeah wish I was taller cuz being short especially as a man is the worst and no one ever takes you seriously. Sometimes I wonder if a lot of my masculinity is performative because it's the only way people of both sexes take me seriously, since my height adds no favours. If I could change anything about myself it would be my intersex situation because all my brothers are over 6' but I got the XX short genes from my mum. Wah.
Tall people are fine though as long as they're cognisant of their height and are courteous to the less fortunate.
