the post: can we stop using being trans as a blanket excuse and reason for “falling for racism” as a youth?
1/2 the notes: this doesn’t happen. this never happened. you made this up. this is fake
the other 1/2 of the notes: I do this. I did this. I am defending currently doing this. my life is harder because I’m trans so it’s okay for me to be a little racist. As a treat.

I want a slenderverse series where someone moves to the city in an attempt to get away from slenderman but then they start seeing him a utility poles and lamps instead of trees. He starts taking in the characteristics of the city, and the mc gets lost in back alleys like how one might get lost deep in the woods. I want undefineable buildings and unending hallways without windows. Cctv footage and blacked out apartments.

[pt: Brooklyn hype (part 1) - mindless self indulgence :end pt]
ECTOSEX
[pt: ectosex :end pt]
an individual who is not intersex or perisex, more specifically due to being outside of either of these labels rather than between them
some reasons for identifying as this may include but are not limited to:
someone who's always been sex non-conforming and doesn't know if they would traditionally fit the sex binary or not
someone who's been questioning their sex for a while and no longer cares about or is not able to figure out if they are intersex or perisex
someone who does not view sex as applying to them
etymology: ecto - outside + sex
symbolism: the black symbol is a flower to symbolize growing and lived experience and the grey colors of the flag are meant to contrast the more typical colorful flags to represent being outside of expectations
[pt: yo does it make you nervous? yes it makes me nervous does it? does it? does it? does it make you nervous? :end PT]
#reminds me of my bestie#she doesn’t really connect with the label intersex#but also doesn’t feel super at home with perisex either#mogai coining#ectosex

I've recently discovered that I have ambiguous genitalia due to sex, where my partner who's been in bed with women before (I'm a virgin) got severely disgusted by how "malformed" I am.
I've been slowly processing this, and one of the ways I've been doing this as a direct response to how horrible that finding-out situation was, is by sketching out intersex smut where a body like mine is enjoyed rather than hated. A friend of mine loves seeing my art, loves seeing smut, and told me to show her what I'd made - only to be met with the same disgust over ambiguous genitalia existing and that what I'm drawing is "gross and alien"
I feel like shit, ngl.
this is intersexism.
i'm sorry you got so much rejection and bodyshaming.
ambiguous genitalia is natural. they aren't gross. they aren't alien. they aren't "malformed."
that's why we need more accurate intersex representation and intersex-inclusive sex-ed. but also it's just extremely rude to say these things to anyone, regardless of their body.
i hope you'll be able to find people who would accept you as you are, who would admire and appreciate all aspects of your body.
#i don’t understand how some intersex people are confident enough to date#i feel like these kinds of people are everywhere#if not the majority#it’s terrifying#i don’t think i’ll ever be brave enough to date#despite the IGM i’m still Different#so i’ll probably get treated the same way#i’m having A Day#intersexism

i wrote an argument essay about IGM back in my sophomore year of high school!
the topics aren’t exactly 1:1, but i think this 2017 article sums up the issue pretty well and even touches upon the parent’s rights to say no to coercive intersex medical treatment
this one is one that got some attention; it’s all about why IGM as a whole is harmful and, if anything, just makes the patient’s life harder
this one might be a little outdated but it’s how common a couple of different intersex variations are, which might be helpful
a planned parenthood article about intersexuality as a whole, specifically the definition of the word and how more and more intersex people and their allies are rallying against IGM
an article explaining just how wrong the practice is from other intersex people’s perspective, in case you wanna be 100% clear
TED Talk by artist and activist Emily Quinn on having AIS, the mistreatment she’s gotten, and how she’s quite likes being the way she was born
for my critical thinking and argumentation class, we have a project we have to do about consent and it can be about almost anything, and my teacher has let me do it on intersex people who go through IGM and how a parent’s or doctor’s ‘consent’ to the surgery (mutilation) is not enough, so if anyone wants to share resources or anything, thatd be greatly appreciated
#fun fact; emily quinn worked on adventure time!!#you can look it up#intersex#intersex community#intersex awareness#igm mention#h slur

some fucking people on this website: "Intersex people are transmisogynists/transphobic! They're all cryptoTERFs and radfems and should be kept out of our spaces. TERFs love intersex people."
Actual TERFs to intersex people:

I can find more examples if you really want me to. This shit isn't difficult to find.
#prev whoever runs shinigami eyes#literally just being intersex is enough to get you marked as unsafe for trans people to interact with#intersex#intersexism#anti radfem#‘the sex they choose’ i didn’t even choose my own outfits yet#what makes you think i could’ve decided on a lifelong surgery with a myriad of consequences?#igm mention

Intersex liberation fights for AGAB as a system of oppression to be abolished- nobody would be assigned a sex in a perfect word. (For the perisex person about to comment this is stupid: Sex traits would be taken into account in a medical context but there would be no such categorizations as male or female - which are just lists of individual sex traits)
So, if your definitions of transness as a perisex person are solely based on AGAB, that means you are basing an integral part of your identity on a system of intersexist subjugation that directly results in our culling (selective abortions & infanticide) and subsequent medical torture if we survive the culling.
Defining trans woman as "Woman who was AMAB" and trans man as "Man who was AFAB" and transgender generally as "person who does not identify with their AGAB" is intersexist and it will always be intersexist. How on earth would these people define transness in a world post intersex liberation where nobody has an AGAB? The answer is, they don't want that world to happen. They believe in improving oppressive social structures juuuussst enough for sex variant perisex people to live comfortably within it, but not us. Not those of indeterminate sex.
I'm fucking done with giving grace to perisex devils (cis & trans) whose sense of self relies on my extermination.
I agree 100% and I wish more perisex people listened to us on this topic.

"no children are being forced to take hrt or have surgeries that change the appearance of their genitals" intersex children are, actually
"everyone was assigned a gender at birth" there are intersex people who were not assigned a gender at birth
"trans women are amab trans people and trans men are afab trans people" there are intersex people who were assigned male at birth and later transitioned medically and socially to male, and intersex people who were assigned female at birth and later transitioned medically and socially to female
"assigned gender at birth is a 1:1 predictor of tma vs tme experience" there are intersex people who were assigned female at birth and experienced violence for being a woman with a penis + testes + secondary sex characteristics like facial hair + having a testosterone-dominant hormone profile, and had to transition medically and socially to be socially and medically recognized as women as adults
"bodies born with sex variations are medically nonbinary" no, they are intersex, and intersex people can be a binary gender if they want to be
"nonbinary people who want non-cisnormative sex variations are mentally ill/diseased for wanting a disordered body" no, bodies with sex variations are not disordered, and it harms intersex people for them to be seen as disordered regardless of if the body in question was born that way or created through surgery
"cis women don't experience transphobic body policing/will never understand how it feels to have your womanhood constantly in question and subject to violence over things you can't change" intersexism overlaps heavily with transphobia and an intersex woman can both identify as cis and have a penis, testes, be testosterone-dominant, etc, and have visible signs of those traits. an intersex woman can also have been amab or be currently legally designated as male by the government and still identify as cis.
stop saying intersexist shit in your trans discourse thanks

Very funny that most people who call me transphobic really seem to hate using my pronouns for some reason. But it's ok to misgender me because I'm not binary trans and perisex. Respecting people like me is optional, got it.
#‘misgendering cis people funnee :3c’ and the person in question isn’t even cis#they’re just intersex so they’re incapable of being anything other than a thing to disrespect#istg i hate everything#intersexism#exorsexism

You know what, fuck people who force writers to reveal their trauma in order to justify the stories they write. No consumer is owed an explanation for the content a creator creates, and no creator should feel obligated to draw from or admit to pain that may or may not be in their life in order to craft a work of fiction.
“I had an idea for a story” is all the justification you need to write one, and all anyone needs to let it be.
#i was reading a fucked up fic once#and one of the comments was deadass ‘are you using this to cope? cuz otherwise this is NOT ok….’#like#what#this applies to artists too
