I believe Bobby is coming back from the dead because I think we deserve to live in a world where Kenneth Choi gets to act his ass off by playing a simultaneously relieved/joyous and angry/furious Chimney, who feels like he has to thank Bobby, but also scream at him until his throat is sore because it wasn't fair to make that decision! he's going to say they should have played rock, paper, scissors and Bobby will chuckle because he thinks he's joking like silly haha Chimney, but Chimney is like "no, we should have discussed it, you died and I didn't even get to say thank you. you died and I owed you a debt I didn't even know about. you let me carry that" and he has to wrestle with the guilt of knowing that Bobby would do that for him, not just theoretically, but actual concrete proof that Bobby would die to save him. which they all know on some surface level that they'd die for one another, but it feels like such a far-off concept until it isn't. but Chimney also has to deal with the gratitude because Chimney is also so incredibly thankful that he didn't die. every step of the way he wanted Ravi, Bobby, Buck, and Athena to commit crimes, because he loves his life and he wants to keep living it. he's so overjoyed that he got to go home to his wife and kid, and that comes with its own guilt because how can he be so happy to be home when Bobby DIED. does that make him a monster? that on some level he's HAPPY that Bobby did that? and now he has to FACE Bobby. so he tries to be the Before Chimney who gets people whimsical gifts, but how do you give someone balloons about choosing your life over theirs? and he spirals because he's different now and Bobby is here and he has so so much he wants to say but all of it feels contradictory and unfair and he would normally go to Bobby for advice. so he does. he goes to Bobby and he says "what would you do, if you were in my position?" and Bobby just says "whatever you need to say or feel, I understand" and that just makes Chimney even more upset because what he needs is for none of this to have ever happened. its like they all got a re-do, but kept the memories and the feelings and now he has nowhere appropriate to put them. anyway, Bobby lives and we get Chimney angst yay <3 forever and ever.

if eddie does come back with chris the next fucking episode or the one after that i'm going to need buck to be there to greet them obviously and just be the most embarrassing guy ever about chris. he's gonna scoop him up in a hug and make stupid bear noises and tell him he missed him soso much he was losing his mind and he's going to tear up a little as he makes jokes about how big he's gotten. and eddie's going to be watching all of this with thee single fondest look on his face the world has ever seen and when buck finally lets chris go eddie's going to be all "where's mine?" and buck's going to be like "oh please you were gone for a month, i barely had time to miss you" and chris is going to be like "you guys are so embarrassing" and he'll head inside and buck will step up to eddie and they'll do their "should we?" "may as well" hug they did in the season 2 finale except they'll burrow in tight and buck will be like "i really did miss you, you know" and eddie will say "i missed you too" and then they'll go inside and neither of them will say it felt like ripping their hearts out being apart but they'll know

"i bought something today." you step into chris's makeshift studio, bag hidden behind your back. "do you wanna see?"

chris looks up, tugging at the edge of his beanie. he clicks a few things, then turns to face you fully. "sure! is it another bath bomb? because last time was really relaxing, and i wouldn't mind cuddling--"

"it's not," you stop him, then pause for a second. "... but i'll keep that in mind next time i'm at the store. so." you pull the bag out from behind your back, reaching in to reveal the ugliest little plushie chris has ever seen. it's this brown scorpion with heart-shaped eyes, and it looks more dopey than cute, but chris knows you. he knows you saw it and fell in love with how dumb it looks. the tiny smile you're giving him now is proof enough. "... well?"

"he's kinda ugly," he says with a slow nod, as if appraising him like a piece of art.

you just smile bigger, brighter than before. "i know, right?!" you toss him over to chris, who catches him with relative ease. "he was on sale. i think he was some sort of valentines day plushie that someone pawned for a couple bucks. i just couldn't resist snagging him since he was marked down even further."

"did you name him?"

"nah," you lean in, pressing a quick peck against his cheek before making your way over to the couch. "left that up for you. i like when you name things."

"well," chris sets the plushie into his lap. "i love him. i'll get back to you on the name, yeah?"

"yeah, yeah," you sprawl out on the couch, phone in hand. "i'm gonna stay in here for a bit. that fine?"

he nods, already pulling his headphones back on. "might have you listen to something later for feedback," he says, settling back into his chair. "but sure. i work better when you're around."

"sap."

he smiles to himself as he presses play. he is. he's your sap.

Author's note: I am kinda back? I guess. Anyways, you know how it goes, I love fluff, I love angst. I feel like Chris is a stubborn mf, so I've got a lot to write about him. BTW. Give me requests.

Chris, being a stubborn lil' shit, would never admit he's in the wrong. Definitely not in the beginning.

He would shout and scream to get his point across, especially if he felt like he was being wrongly accused.

I feel like he's the type to "hold grudges" for quite some time, not because he doesn't want to speak to you, but because he wouldn't know how to start talking about it.

Even when you two are not talking to each other, he'd do something to get your attention without trying to seem desperate or clingy (even though he is).

He'd make you your favorite meal, leaving the plate right beside you and then leaving right away, "uhm. I made you this. You didn't eat today."

He would also do things without you noticing; like put a lil' snack in your bag before you go to work, or tuck you in while you're sleeping, or take a strand of hair that's bothering you, tucking it behind your ear.

He would never be the first one to talk about it. Though, once you say "hey, let's talk"; it's over. He'll be begging for your attention and/or forgiveness.

"You know you're like.. the love of my life, yeah? I never want to hurt you."

He'd get super soft and gentle with you after every fight.

Cuddles and soft kisses to make you feel better would be his way to show you how sorry he is.

"I'm stupid. I didn't mean to shout. I'm sorry."

"I will forgive you.

Gimme a hundred kisses right now."

"Say no more."

And he would do exactly that; he'd spoil you with kisses with every chance he gets.

I just love cuddly and soft Chris after a fight. I want to squeeze him.
