Hmmm... perhaps our new melee-capable android would benefit from the addition of a holy relic that just so happens to be a kickass laser sword?

The first hidden complex was about a day's hike from Sparks. Mechi and Kwahu left Ivy in the capable hands of her new robot uncle and popped out for a bit to take Othello for walkies and do some hacking.

Helpful reminder that Alistair is adorable and eeeverything is fine...

He's not... he's not a great babysitter.

On the bright side, we've never had so many neatly cut bricks before, so that will be nice for any future grand construction projects. Not so nice for Ivy's boredom, though.

Ivy would have a blast playing pretend "robot controller" (she can't say the word 'mechanitor' yet) in Mechi's old airwire headset and duster. She might even want to copy their diligent void-study by mucking around near that big 'ol twisted obelisk outside the gate!

... Huh.

At least Ivy has a mood bonus for "transhumanist modded" now?

Belated Christmas

Haven't drawn these lads in quite a while. I miss em.

So I made this today while watching g1. Admittedly, probably should have been paying more attention to the episodes, but oh well (it was the Dinobot Island 2 parter we were watching)

I said I was thinking about drawing Trailbreaker as well as some of the more obscure g1 Autobots, but I saw this color palette yesterday and it reminded me of Jazz, so that’s why it’s him

By the way, I got the color palette from an account called @color-palettes, with the link to this one here. Felt I should share since I didn’t come up with the color palette

I kind of just randomly picked the lineart brush here, it was just something I had apparently been working on in my art brushes, and I think it turned out relatively nice. Though it looked a lot better once I switched the lineart to the darkest grey on the palette instead of just plain black

I also just stumbled onto the sketching pencil I used, but I think it worked pretty well as well. I also think I’m just in general getting better at drawing the Transformers, at least bit by bit

It is still difficult for me to figure out the angles to put the arms in though. But I’m getting there

Not sure if the pink entirely fits Jazz, but it’s close enough. Maybe it’d look nicer as a darker shade, since it blends in a bit much with the white

But yeah, think the drawing turned out well, and now I’m considering doing this with other characters as well; getting color palettes and drawing the characters with it. I already have one for Megatron stashed away somewhere in my photos

I fear that "fire bending didn't come easy to zuko" and "zuko isn't a prodigy" (both true) has somehow snowballed into "zuko is a bad or at best average fire bender".... which simply isn't true, especially by the end of book 3

Technoblade: Man, imagine not winning a 1 v 3. Couldn't be me.

Every MCC with Technoblade was memorable, but MCC 5 will always stand out in my mind thanks to Techno's infamous 1 v 3 fight! Here are some highlights from that event in honor of the man himself.

Do all of your rimworld playthroughs take place in the same universe? Or are they all their own separate little rimworld instances?

I like to imagine they're all happening in the same universe, yeah! On different planets separated by a seemingly untraversable void of space, sure, but it's the same galaxy! Maybe someday they'll bump into each other. Who knows? I think there would be plenty of opportunities for fun shenanigans with Cross-Colony interactions.

For example, Mechi and Vasso coming to blows over how coffee should be prepared, or Kwahu and Fafo gushing about each other's bionics!

Perhaps the characters from The Animist Alliance, who never had any dealings with the void (because the Anomaly DLC wasn't a thing yet), would have difficulty coming to grips with the idea of adopting an eldritch clone of yourself as a twin!

I bet even Evil Ghost Triplet, Lansa, would do his best to convince Kaz to put his Resurrect psycast to "good" use so that Lansa can come back for reveeeenge!! 😈 (Kaz would decline on the grounds that Lansa isn't worth sacrificing a finger for)
