i have such a love for characters who descend into madness or villainy out of deep, deep empathy. characters who fundamentally cannot cope with the cruel realities they find themselves in and blow up about it in spectacular fashion. fallen angel type characters with tears of outrage in their eyes. characters who break before they bend, and break so badly they splatter blood all over their noble ideals. every variation on it gets me so good

“I don’t want it to just be ‘me’ and ‘you’ anymore,” she mumbles, outstretching an unsteady hand. Shangguan Qian is so far away that she can’t even brush the edge of her clothes, let alone grasp her. “Can we… Can we be an ‘us’ again? Please?”

Yun Weishan watches Shangguan Qian carefully for her answer, sifting through the fog of the sea in her eyes. Wearing white and framed by the candlelight, she looks a little too unreal, like she doesn’t belong in the same plane as her at all.

Shangguan Qian exhales. She glances at her hand, keeping it hovering, trembling in mid-air.

“That’s not up to me, is it?” she returns. “What about you, Yun Weishan? Will you show me mercy, or will this all end the same way?”

ruthlessly deleting old 2021/2022 posts (not by me) from my dean studies tag like *click* un-incorporating that from my beliefs system! also the way SO many posts have me like ok uh-huh good aaand then say one completely wrong thing that loses me. it's so many posts.

#it's usually when they randomly drop some line of fanon. like saying dean has never admitted to being wrong in his life #or never expressed an emotion or been vulnerable or doesn't Talk About Feelings or is super duper RepressedTM #like i'm sorry. have you watched the show. oh and have you taken off the sammy POV goggles first?#bc this guy is always crying and being vulnerable and talking about his feelings. he is self-aware.#he may not always want to talk to sam abt things! but he sure does talk about things with other people #do i need to reblog the compilation posts AGAIN?#(also re: his sexualiy? AWARE. sorry i saw him flirt and be flustered by so many men. he knows how he feels.)#and then 'first time ever admitting to being wrong' this one came from a post abt dean's prayer in the trap #like i'm sorry but first of all. dean apologizes more than any other character on the show. there are hard numbers on this.#people have tracked this on spreadsheets. i think ilarual is one of them.#and often he is apologizing for things that aren't even his fault! but he still feels responsible for bc he's been made to feel that way #his whole life!!#other characters *cough samandcas *cough* apologizing Less doesn't mean they've Done less things wrong #it just means they're not owning up to it and brushing it under the rug. something both do frequently.#anyways. aside from apologies. dean also has no problem admitting he's wrong y'know when he's actually wrong #which is less often than you'd think bc he has pretty good instincts and intuition and often suspects things which turn out to be Right #but anyways. another thing abt the trap prayer is. i don't think cas Needed to be forgiven #i think dean was justified in feeling angry w cas over the circumstances leading to the Death of His Mother! totally normal grief response!#i think cas also understands dean to be someone who needs time to process and deal with his feelings (he says as much to jack)#however. despite me not think dean Needs to forgive cas. the thing is. with dean when it comes to cas the forgiveness is implicit #when he says /of course i forgive you/ and in the cut like /of course i wanted you to stay/ like. yes he was mad and dealing with grief #but also. yes cas was already forgiven even back then. he just needed Time to work through the feelings #anyways i think dean says he 'forgives' cas bc it's what CAS needed to hear to stop feeling guilty and dean gives him that closure #but i also think cas was already forgiven even in dean's anger. he wants him there always. i'd rather have you. we can fix this. etc etc #a lot of tags for a non-rebloggable post ajksdfs maybe i'll make these into a real post sometime #vic.txt #dean and feelings #so i can find this all again later

i wish shadowbanning wasnt an actual thing that randomly happens here bc i cant see the reblogs on my webfishing post, what if they left silly tags :(

#there's been a lot of ''shadowbanning isnt real'' posts but no it is very much real but it's not targeted its just. seemingly random KJFHDG #FIVE people i know have randomly been hidden from notes/search/dms/etc without changing any blog settings #two of them emailed and had it fixed ages later and three are still hidden #two of them have been hidden since i met them in 2019 😭#you cant see their notes in your notes at all and to see them you need to go DIRECTLY to their blog #if their post gets reblogged on ur dash tho then you can see them. and you can dm them but again you have to do it from their blog #they dont show up as a ''send this post to this blog'' suggestion #i have asked all of them and none of them had those ''hide from results'' things turned on. they werent marked sensitive. etc etc #it's so weird man 😭#chat

i would like to stop experiencing the full spectrum of human emotions every day please. putting this out into the universe

#had suchhh a good workday. had hot pot with my roommate where we talked about our quarter life crises #and then came home and had a 3 hour screaming match with both of my parents where i said i was cutting them out of my life #it turns out. my dad still does not understand what the word bi means even tho his fucking wife is bi #he was like 'so you marry someone and six months later you see someone else you like and u go marry them instead?'#like genuinely. truly trying to understand #and that shocked me enough to stop crying #do not reblog please #like in hindsight it is SO funny #and that was the point where i was like. wait is this not malice #this is homophobia but i don't think it's malice #anyways we're all Ok now #we've agreed that i'm going to do what i want #and even if they're unhappy they're still gonna have a relationship with me #and they'll figure out how to adjust #my brother periodically came into the room and also screamed at my parents #i feel bad for them a lil bit. like they're not bad people #after he left my mom told me that a week and a half ago #my brother came into her room and told her that when she died he would bury her in a grave instead #of the traditional last rites (cremation rituals etc etc)#if she wouldn't accept me #and my mom said she was on a bunch of meds cause she's sick so she was so out of it it didn't even register what he was going on about #and then today after that convo she was like WAIT A MIN WHAT THE FUCK DID THIS BOY SAY TO ME #funniest 16 year old u could have on your side #truly he kept coming into the room every 5 min and going HEY HAVE YOU BOTH CONSIDERED NOT BEING HOMOPHOBIC.
