hellohello!! I am quite sick as of writing this, but I still have a lot of work to do, so I havent really been able to take a proper break even tho I feel a lil weird and almost passed out 😔😔 (I have the day off tomorrow dont worry haha)

So I was wondering if you could write jiaoqiu, and dan heng (ofc you can add others if you want too), seeing the reader looking off, either almost passing out, or quite literally passing out mid sentence? so they force/carry the reader to bed and rest, and just spend time taking care of a fever-struck reader?

The gentle hum of the Astral Express accompanied the rhythmic tapping of Dan Heng's fingers on his terminal. He was seated in the corner of the lounge, observing the crew as they moved about their duties. His sharp eyes caught sight of you from across the room, your normally lively demeanor dulled. You leaned against the counter, a hand pressed to your forehead as you muttered something incoherent to March.

Concern tugged at Dan Heng’s chest, though he dismissed it as nothing. Until you swayed.

“Hey, are you okay—?” March’s voice was cut short as you crumpled to the floor mid-sentence.

Dan Heng was on his feet in an instant, faster than anyone else could react. He crouched beside you, his heart pounding against his ribs as he felt for your pulse. It was weak but steady.

“You’re burning up,” he murmured, his usual calm voice tinged with worry. Without hesitation, he scooped you up into his arms.

The quiet strength he carried was evident as he moved swiftly to your room, shutting the door behind him. He gently laid you on the bed, his brow furrowed in deep thought. You stirred weakly, eyes fluttering open for a moment before falling back into unconsciousness.

“Rest,” Dan Heng said softly, brushing a strand of hair from your face. “You’ve been pushing yourself too hard.”

He pulled the blanket over you and retrieved a damp cloth from the washroom, placing it on your fevered forehead. For the next several hours, he stayed by your bedside, occasionally checking your temperature and ensuring you stayed hydrated.

When you finally awoke, your fever slightly abated, you found Dan Heng seated beside you. His eyes were closed, arms crossed, yet his presence radiated quiet vigilance.

“You should have said something,” he muttered, noticing your movements.

“I didn’t want to bother anyone…”

“You’re part of the crew,” he said firmly. “That means your well-being matters, too. Rest now. I’ll be here if you need anything.”

Despite his usual aloofness, the subtle care in his tone was unmistakable. In that moment, you saw not just a stoic guardian but someone who deeply cared, even if he struggled to show it.

The battlefield stretched endlessly before you, the air thick with smoke and the metallic tang of blood. Jiaoqiu worked tirelessly among the wounded, his nine-square grid formula aiding those in desperate need. You, however, had refused his insistence to rest, determined to carry out your duties.

"That’s the last batch of supplies," you muttered, voice shaky as you approached Jiaoqiu. "I’ll—"

Your words faltered, the world spinning as a wave of dizziness overtook you. Jiaoqiu’s sharp senses detected the shift before you fell, and in an instant, his arms were around you, catching you mid-collapse.

“You fool,” he muttered under his breath, his voice laced with worry. “How long have you been ignoring your own health?”

He carried you effortlessly, his strong arms holding you close as he navigated the crowded tent. Despite the chaos around him, his movements were graceful, his calm presence commanding respect. Though his eyes remained sightless, his other heightened senses guided him with uncanny precision, his keen hearing picking up the faintest of sounds and the slightest shifts in the air.

Inside a quiet chamber, he laid you down on a cot, his hands brushing over your flushed face with a gentleness that betrayed his usual sternness. He reached into his pouch, knowing the exact placement of each item by feel, and began mixing a remedy with practiced precision.

When you stirred moments later, your vision was greeted by the soft glow of a lantern and Jiaoqiu’s silhouette, though his gaze was unfocused, his eyes clouded with a soft, permanent blindness. His ears twitched, signaling his alertness, even as his expression remained calm.

“You’re awake,” he said, his tone as gentle as the cool cloth he pressed to your forehead. “Drink this.”

You obeyed, the bitter concoction sliding down your throat.

“I’m sorry,” you murmured, guilt weighing on your voice.

His smile was faint, though you couldn't see it. “You should apologize to yourself, not me. Overworking yourself won’t help anyone, least of all you.”

He adjusted the blanket over you, his tail flicking behind him in a mixture of agitation and concern.

“I’ve seen too many lives lost because they didn’t know when to stop,” he continued. “You’re not going to be one of them.”

As you drifted back to sleep, comforted by his presence, Jiaoqiu remained by your side, his fan in hand. He watched over you with a healer’s vigilance and the quiet determination of someone who refused to let you slip away, relying on his other senses and his unwavering dedication to keep you safe.

"yeah!" taylor nods from her spot on the couch. "we're all friends, it won't be weird or anything. celebrities do this all the time!"

"this isn't a variety show like those kpop idols you watch, taylor," tyler rolls his eyes.

"don't disrespect them!" taylor points a finger at her brother.

"anyways," you say loud enough for them all to hear. "who should go first?"

"i want to!" both taylor and aiden raise their hands excitedly.

"alrighty then," you nod. ben takes the package from aiden who was still struggling and opens it before handing it to you. "taylor hernandez, in the right corner!" you announce as you stand up. "aiden clark, in the left corner!" you fail to notice a pair of eyes on you as you stand between taylor and aiden, taking a pocky out of the package. "okay, i'm going to give you guys one of these, both of you will have each end in your mouth and you'll get closer and closer until one chickens out. this is basically a fun game of chicken. remember, we're all friends! if anything happens, i doubt it'll do anything. are you two ready?" you glance between the two.

"ready!" they say and nod.

"awesome," you grin, handing the pocky to aiden. "round one, start!"

you sit back down on the couch next to ashlyn watching the next few rounds go on. you were grinning from ear to ear every time it was your turn, winning each time you competed. ben was keeping score for fun, and you were easily winning with aiden trailing close behind, only losing cause he backed out at the same time ashlyn did when they did theirs.

now, it was ashlyn and tyler, the second to last round before it was you and ashlyn. taylor was sitting beside you while watching aiden announce the start of the round.

"y'know, i think she's nervous," taylor says to you in a hushed voice.

"hm? i'm surprised she even agreed," you reply, looking over at taylor. "i mean, this was aiden's idea so."

"that's not what i mean," taylor shakes her head. "i mean clearly she's getting more nervous because you're the last round." she says, trying to subtly hint at you ashlyn's feelings towards you.

now you look at her with confusion. "why? cause i keep winning?" you question.

taylor stares at you with a deadpan expression. you're serious. jesus christ. "no," she says slowly. "because-"

"and tyler wins!" aiden exclaims, clapping his hands. "and another loss for ashlyn." he says with a sigh. "anyways! for the final round we have yn and ashlyn! yn, get your ass over here!" aiden grins.

you get up from your spot on the couch and stand in front of ashlyn, smiling lightly as aiden hands you the pocky.

"alright, this is the last round, folks!" aiden says. "if yn wins, she wins the whole thing! if ashlyn somehow manages to win...i guess she also wins the whole thing cause yn is undefeated! are you two ready?" he looks at you two.

"yep," you nod, grinning as you put one end of the pocky in your mouth.

"i guess," ashlyn mutters with a nod, taking a step closer and putting the other end of the pocky in her mouth.

"amazing! let the final round start!" aiden yells, taking a few steps back and sitting on the couch next to ben.

ashlyn's eyes don't meet yours as you take a bite off the pocky, inching closer to her. she can't believe she agreed to do this stupid thing. but, when she finally does look at you, a sudden wave of confidence hits her, and she's determined to win. whether that be making you back out or getting to the end and kissing you. she takes two bites off the pocky, getting much closer than you anticipated causing your breath to hitch in your throat, a small blush forming on your face as you peer back at her.

she's taking you serious, and you couldn't tell if that was a good thing or not. she had backed out within the first three bites with everyone else, and she just bite off more than you did first in all the other rounds. you try to keep your hands from shaking too much, shoving them in the pockets of your jacket so no one can see, starting to panic slightly as you take another bite.

one of ashlyn's eyebrows raise seeing you visibly tense up as you took another bite. you're nervous. that's new considering how well you were doing beforehand. a small smirk makes its way onto her face as she takes another bite, her lips inches away from yours.

you freeze as ashlyn takes another bite, thinking she would back out by now. there was maybe two inches left of the pocky, and you could feel her breath hitting your lips from how close you were. you're not sure if you're breathing at this point, seeing the smirk form on her face and realizing she knows you're nervous. shit, when did she suddenly look so pretty? your face heats up more as your thoughts run around, and you find yourself cursing and pulling your face away from her.

everyone's jaws drop as soon as you take a few steps back, staring in shock as you quickly turn and look away.

"holy shit..." aiden lets out, standing up. "ashlyn has won!" he exclaims, clapping his hands. "great job, ash! as for you yn, i'm disappointed! what the hell happened?!" he looks at you.

"nothing," you quickly shake your head, not being able to look at anyone knowing how much you were blushing. "i need something to drink," you say, speedily walking away into the kitchen.

leaning your back against the kitchen island, you cover your face with your hands, groaning quietly in embarrassment. "such a dumb idea," you murmur into your hands.

"that's my line, y'know,"

you jump in surprise at the voice, removing your hands from your face to see ashlyn standing in front of you, fairly close. your eyes widen slightly as she takes a step closer to you, your mouth feeling dry as you look at her.

"why were you so nervous?" she questions. "with me, i mean," she adds.

"what?" you try to play it off, very obviously lying. "i wasn't nervous."

"uh-huh," ashlyn nods, leaning closer to you and seeing your eyes go wider. "see, you're nervous again. i can hear your breathing hitch. so why?"

shit, that didn't work. you don't know what to do now. you either admit the feelings you had and hope it doesn't blow up in your face, or lie again and hope it works. with a quiet, hushed voice, you manage to get words out. "i-i like you,"

a small smile forms on ashlyn's face at your confession. "good, cause i feel the same," she says in the same voice as yours. "now, can i kiss you since your dumbass chickened out before i could?"

all you do is nod your head, leaning closer as she does, your lips connecting with hers. it was short, pulling away quickly to not get caught by the others. you smile at her fondly, reaching for her hand and grabbing it. "see? this wasn't that dumb of an idea."

"yeah, i guess," ashlyn nods, a tiny smile on her face. "i'm not doing it again, though.

"even if it meant you would get a free pass to kiss me?" you tease.

"maybe not."

and just in general.. leave people comments. leave them asks about their projects. just go over and gush about their work. i know it sounds embarrassing but writers love nothing more than to hear that someone likes what they are doing. if you find a fic that hasnt been updated in forever, comment on it. it might just be the spark the author needs to continue. while kudos and likes are nice, and just as valuable to some, its definitely in the words the people leave for them that matter the most. im not saying this to put pressure on anyone, its just how it is, and i feel like unless people are writers themselves, and even then sometimes, thats just hard to grasp, especially if the writer is a smaller and less popular one who doesnt get a lot of traffic in the first place

i think thats all. just be nice and considered to everyone, reblog peoples works, this post with others add ons and so forth. and if i find anyone talking shit here or at other writers for something they share, you'll be blocked and im probably taking your kneecaps. be fucking nice. we are all struggling here and we need to stick together

How do you shift

Not sure if youre asking specifically how i shift or how to shift in general? But ill answer both!

How to shift:

Id recommend looking at blogs/videos etc of people who shift! Some post their shifting routine or advice! You can go in tags on tumblr and you'll find plenty of blogs with tons of info! Youtube has some great videos as well! I also made a small shifting informational notion if that might help too?

To start, everyones shifting journey and experiences are different and can vary a lot. What may work for me may not work for you!

Theres awake and sleep methods, most people start off/prefer asleep methods. Visualize, affirm, believe.

Visualize- Don't try to see every detail of a person or moment, just feel. Making props to look/listen to can help at this stage. (Playlists for characters/moments, notes, letters etc)

Affirm- You are a master shifter, shifting is easier than you think it is, you are pure consciousness not attached to any one reality, nothing is holding you back from shifting. Affirm, affirm...affirm. i say all of those affirmations plus a few more. I repeat them a dozen billion times as I'm falling asleep.

Believe- You don't necessarily have to believe but pretend you do. You're already in your dr. You have already shifted...you shift constantly.

It's good to know where you're shifting and some general info about yourself or the reality, though i suppose it isn't required? Your conscience knows what you want. You only need the intention. You really don't need anything else but sometimes methods will help! There are plenty of shifting subliminals and videos, guides etc to use and if anyone wants some recs i dont mind making a post/sending something privately! Just gotta ask.

How i shift:

If i know im going to shift later that night then i like to think about my dr throughout the day! Like ill think about memories, things ive scripted, arguments, confessions, embarrassing moments, things with high emotions! I play the whole thing out in my head., thinking of how ill react/how i did react etc.

I also try to think about my brother in my dr and what we are going to do for the day! More recently i try to think of what we are going to learn in class, what im doing after class, what spells i have to practice etc! Ill do affirmations and also reciting information about myself throughout the day. But ill do it in a way that im introducing myself or is casual instead of reciting what i wrote down if that makes sense.

So ill say something like "im basra pettigrew, this is my younger brother....." or smthn along those lines

Now theres two different ways i normally shift when im home. One is just acting like im already there and speaking to my dr siblings. Having affirmed all day and set intentions throughout i wont do it again at home since im already in my dr! Basically gaslighting myself into thinking im there!

The other way is similar except i do affirm and ill go through information/props ive made :)

Like for example, ive written some of the notes we've passed in class down! I ofc don't remember word for word but it's the general vibe/words of the convo. Ill go through moodboards ive made, quotes ive saved, and in general consume any content about wherever im shifting. Once I'm ready for bed i get comfortable and say my usual affirmations. As im starting to lose consciousness ill say goodnight to my siblings in my dr and act how would in my dr if i was going to bed!

Normally I'll hear my dr brother moving around as I'm falling asleep and it confirms to me that I'm there. Though I did script that whenever i shift i smell Peter's shampoo or that i taste chocolate! Thats another way i know ive shifted :) (You can also use something similar to make you believe youve shifted...therefore helping you shift! Like eating chocolate bfr bed or spraying cologne/lighting a candle etc which ive done bfr and it worked for me) Sometimes I'll shift with the lucid method too. Not sure what it's called but where I'm lucid dreaming, I'll use it as a doorway of sorts. Also I don't get a lot of 'symptoms' when shifting, i have before but only two or three times so I don't pay too much attention to that.

I don't use subliminals as much as i used to (if at all these days) i just tell myself I'm going to shift tonight, no matter what im shifting and nothing can stop me from doing so. And well...it works 🤷🏻‍♀️

But first of all to be clear, this is a One Direction fan blog; Louis is my favorite and I mostly blog about him, but I think it's all fascinating and all of them are interesting to me even if only for having been part of everything that happened. But that's not really the point here- the next most posts after Louis solo content I have lately are Zayn posts and you're not asking me to tag those even though he was in 1D; this is about what parts of Louis people want to see. But the thing is: larry and One Direction posts ARE LOUIS CONTENT, that's part of following Louis and talking about him and what's going on with him, which is what I DO! And actually I'm not into being part of the project of trying to erase huge parts of his life by acting like it's shameful or separate from current day Louis. I don't think being the most influential part of the biggest band in the world is shameful or something he would want danielled, and I don't think Harry Styles is evil and needs to be erased from history. I think that pretending big parts of Louis' life didn't happen is weird and is pretending he's someone other than who he is, which is basically insulting him if you ask me because his actual self is great, and like… I'm not into it. hm.... a loaded question. short answer for how i handle this:

I don't.

i just. don't. i don't even try to process what i know for sure is a bad take at all, and i make it a point to curate my online spaces as much as possible.

(or at least, i do on very very rare occasions if i feel arsed enough to hop on my keyboard to smashing out a more educated post about it based on my own understanding. more on this in a bit.)

if i go into a fandom tag and i see rampant nonsense, such as during the 1st two months of fire emblem engage's release or some incredible pumpkin spice latte takes, and i feel like it's just too much bc im getting angry, i just disengage. i might read if i feel like it, but if its too hostile i don't add to the conversation. i leave. i don't pass go bc i have waaaay better things to do than potentially engage in a conversation im already not happy to have.

in some occasions i even block. if i feel like someone is being a dipshit in the posts i make with their tags even, i block.

and i suspect im not the only one. how often do you see asians who reside outside of the west actively partake in fandom discussions? its such a drain of energy when it goes bad. most asians are working faaaaar longer hours than the average westerner in the average office setting. i mean, fuck, man. if i want to have fun, im not coming to a place i know i wont be having much. I have many restrictions of what I can do with friends because of my religion, for example I cannot ignore/ghost my friends, I must always act like a friend even when under pressure, I cannot lie about my well-being when I am asked how im doing, I must control my anger, and lots more- so I expect yall to not do the things to me that I cannot do to you.
