Batman just got back, carrying the feral pun-making toddler still growling at him as he clenched harder on glove that he had to remove to satisfy the feral child.

Considering Joker's pride will be damaged for a while after he got sended in an ambulance to the emergency ER after the painful beating of his life and out pun- lashing he gained from this toddler.

"Back up, mister I am batman, more like a wannabe who obsessed with bats to become them."

Only to noticed Oracle holding the very same toddler who kept calling her Jazz,(are they twins?) Tim is trying to distract another one who trying to touch buttons on the Batcomputer.(triplet???)

Father, I'm keeping this-" damian came down still in his garden uniform, holding another toddler covered in dirt but he quickly noticed the other three toddler everyone else was holding.

"Possibly a meta ability gone wrong?" Tim chirped a bit as he picked up the toddler who whined about tucker not letting him touch the fancy buttons on his new computer.

"His name is danny, and he seems to be running from some people out to get him, and it wasn't safe to stay put together." Oracle said as she wheeled a bit, carrying the supposed danny mumbled softly before glancing worried at the danny in Batman's arms.

"He could have split himself into mini clones?" Tim suggested after giving the kid his spare 3ds.

"Split himself between personality wise, I believe, considering I'm not the jazz he is looking for, you're not tucker, Cass found four during her patrol, Duke got two following him around and I believe batman found the feral one..." Oracle said as she trail off a bit which wasn't good news.

"Some of the rogues also found a couple dannies.."

So today I decided to try and draw Skyfire, in the same sort of vein as I did the War Dawn trio, to try and practice him

I mostly chose Skyfire since I made a couple posts about him/skystar, so I figured might as well draw him, especially since he shows up far less than his counterpart

To be perfectly honest, I think I still need a lot of work in drawing these guys, as I’ve said many times before. I think I can get the heads, but I start to get wonky with the chests, and I really didn’t know how to do his shoulders

Anyways, so this design is based on his g1 design, mostly this one image I got of him

But I also wanted to take some liberties with his design, at least in the head area. I’m realizing I didn’t actually change much of the rest of the body outside of omitting bits, as per usual

I don’t know, I think I like the head design, I just need a slight bit more consistency with it. Also in my head, he’s got a visor that drops down to completely cover his face, but the issue there comes in his colors. His glass is blue, so logically his visor mask would be blue too. But the top of his head is also blue, and it’s really the only other place the blue shows up in outside of the glass. So either I’d have to make his mask red and break consistency, or change the top of his helm to be another color (probably red) and get rid of one of the few pops of blue he has

I also just don’t know how to draw his chest things, the sides that pop out. So that’s why they look weird

And also, his shoulders are like the one part of him that’s circular outside of his helm, and it really annoys me because it sticks out so much to me, with basically the rest of him being rectangular

Also also, I don’t know how to do the arms either, in part because of the circular bits and also I don’t know how to make the triangular prisms

Where was I going with this? I don’t remember. All I know is that while I like his head, I’m well aware my drawings of him aren’t the best. I still need to learn how to draw Transformers properly. Which I’ve been saying for quite a while now, but I’m not sure how much progress I’ve made on that front

But anyways, last thing to talk about I suppose is the design itself. I quite like it, but because it doesn’t belong to any continuity, only being me tweaking his g1 design, I’m not sure what to use it for. I could use it for my own if I really wanted to, but of my random AU ideas, I don’t really know where to fit Skyfire in them. And would I make all subsequent designs for this hypothetical AU based on their g1 designs? I don’t really want to do that with Megatron, I don’t really like his helm design in g1 (it’s weird and ill defined to me)

But for now I guess, I have made this Skyfire design. Not the best work of mine, but I’m still trying to learn Transformers, so I’ll take it

will say, i wish there was some ability to add more nuance to the inquisitor's opinions of solas than just 'was his friend' and 'was not his friend.' i fully understand why these are the choices, and the deviations here i have to assume come across better than like. the complete inability to give hawke an opinion on blood magic when it could create a glaring plot hole if they WERE a blood mage themselves, but even an inquisitor that was friends with solas...i don't know, i suppose i wish there was a little bit more rancor in that version. imagine being told by a friend that they plan to end the world and then having that hang over you for a decade. how do you have a retirement? build a family? live your life? when you have no idea when/if that shoe is going to drop and wipe out, probably, everyone you care about? you've lost a decade to that. even when he's your friend...i don't know. that's a hard topic to approach, especially in these limited cameos, but i would have been interested in hearing some of that from the friendship path

Speaking of "The City on the Edge of Forever," I've been thinking about how my femslash Spirk AU winds out through the canon TOS episodes, interacts with gender expectations of the show, etc, and am mentally organizing episodes by how drastically affected they'd be.

Forcing my two ultimate faves to interact by thinking about how Silver would definitely be interested in biology and the natural sciences because many original ecosystems wouldn't have been able to survive in a world dominated by fire.

In the future he was very interested in history and had to rely on books to learn about anything that came before, but whilst visiting the past he explores and follows field guides in his free time because now he can experience it all for real. Enter Knuckles, who is the most qualified person he knows to teach Silver all about the unique biomes of the world.

At first it just starts out as Silver visiting Angel Island every so often to ask questions and compare notes in his field guide with what Knuckles has seen, which Knuckles enjoys. An excuse to talk about his adventures with a genuinely interested party and they end up bonding really quickly over it. Until Knuckles gets tired of talking about books (and not all of them are correct) so he says fuck it, you can't learn everything from a book and starts taking Silver on forays into the world and shows him everything he dreams to see - ruins reclaimed by nature, entire ecosystems existing on a single type of tree, underwater worlds hidden by algae and sediment.

Hockey player x skater sarumi AU

I’ve been thinking about this as like a Dogsred-style AU, with Fushimi as a disgraced figure skater who ends up sent to a tiny town that prides itself on its school ice hockey team. Imagine Fushimi who enjoyed skating as a kid but was pushed into being an Olympic level skater by his mother, Kisa is like a high powered CEO who also owns a bunch of skating associations and having her kid become a high level figure skater will just make her more money. Fushimi is ‘trained’ by Niki, who also used to skate but mostly just enjoys forcing his little monkey to do increasingly dangerous tricks. Niki ends up dying right before Fushimi qualifies for the Olympics after getting splattered by a cement truck and then set on fire and Fushimi is momentarily relieved. When he does his skate routine though imagine he keeps having all these traumatic visions of Niki laughing at him which culminates in him attacking a judge and he’s ultimately ejected from the sport.

Kisa basically considers Fushimi worthless now that he’s humiliated her this way so she sends him to live with the Munakatas, distant cousins who live in a small out of the way town where no one will even recognize Fushimi. At this point Fushimi has no interest in competing ever again but he still finds himself drawn to the ice, thinking how stupid it is that he used to find this fun. He’s doing this complicated figure skating routine on a frozen pond when this red-haired kid holding a hockey stick comes up to yell at him that this lake belongs to Homra. Fushimi clicks his tongue and wonders if he’s supposed to recognize that name, he can’t be expected to remember grade school clubs. The red-haired guy is like fuck you, Homra is the best high school team around and don’t you forget it. He introduces himself as Yata, the greatest player on team Homra (except for their captain Mikoto-san who is bestest ever). Fushimi snorts and mocks Yata for being an idiot, like this is just some dumb small town and yet you’re waving your tail like you think you’re some kind of big shot. Yata is like oh yeah well if you’re so good then try and out skate me, Fushimi says he doesn’t skate against idiots but fine, he’ll show Yata how to actually use his skates properly.

Yata dares Fushimi to get past him and touch the goal that Yata’s set up, Fushimi is like fine. Yata assumes a skinny nerd like Fushimi can’t possibly be any good at skating, like he’s probably just some newbie trying out his skates, only to be shocked when Fushimi skates past him using all these fancy acrobatic tricks. Fushimi definitely takes his time just showing off, doing like huge jumps and spins and then slowly rotating over to the goal as he smirks at Yata like who’s the kid now. He expects Yata to argue back but instead Yata’s eyes are shining as he calls Fushimi amazing, Yata’s never seen someone skate so cool that way. Yata decides Fushimi needs to join Homra and Fushimi refuses, why would he want to play a sport for idiots like ice hockey. The next time he’s out skating on the pond though Yata’s there, all excited because he’s been checking every day hoping to see Fushimi again. Yata convinces Fushimi to play a round of hockey against him and Fushimi figures whatever, it can’t be that hard, but then he struggles to control the hockey stick and the puck. Yata is like ha not a sport for idiots now is it and Fushimi is totally determined not to lose, he starts actually practicing hockey on his own because he’s going to show that stupid shrimp who’s better on the ice (and as it happens the younger son of the family he’s staying with, Munakata Reisi, is on the hockey team at his fancy private school and would love to show his new younger brother the finer points. Fushimi would normally be like fuck that but he can’t lose to Yata so he agrees).

The two of them spend the whole winter holidays playing ice hockey and Yata keeps pestering Fushimi to join the hockey team at school. He also wonders why a guy as cool as Fushimi is here in this little town and makes a comment about how Fushimi could be in the Olympics, which immediately pisses Fushimi off (“0 points”). Then one day when they’re playing together some of the other Homra guys show up and Yata starts talking with them all happy and friendly, all while Fushimi is glaring in the corner and wondering why he suddenly feels so annoyed, like why should he care who stupid Misaki talks to. One of the Homra guys recognizes Fushimi as ‘that guy who went nuts during the figure skating trials’ and Fushimi feels this sudden rush of anger, because even though he’s not sure why he didn’t want Yata to know about that. Yata is confused because Saruhiko is really cool, he wouldn’t have lost it like that, and Fushimi snaps that Yata doesn’t know anything about him. Fushimi ends up storming off with Yata calling after him, thinking he was an idiot for even spending time with Yata in the first place (and then when he gets back to the house he asks Munakata about the private school he’s going to, do they have room on the ice hockey team and will he get to face off against Misaki one day if he becomes a starter).

Sometimes I think to myself "actually maybe I'm exaggerating the terror I felt from being stalked", but then I remember that the person in question followed me and waited for me outside my school every day, tracked me down on every website I'd spent even the slightest time on, left physical letters in my mailbox, sent creepy as hell novel length messages on a near daily basis on FB. And then when I was living abroad and I answered the phone I told the caller to text me cause I couldn't hear, after which I had to read "I was saying that you would probably be VERY scared if you knew who's calling... hehe" with my own damn fucking eyes...

And then I'm like yknow what nevermind!!!! the fact that I'm still terrified of being perceived and seen in public not just IRL but also FFXIV might be understandable actually!!!
