i took almost no pictures but the puppies went on their first non-vet field trip today: they got to watch the end of nose work class! they got held by four new people and watched some dogs walk by. they even showed off their potty training skills and made me look really good. 😂

this was their first time riding in the car without me sitting in the back with them and they were absolutely fantastic! i took them out as a trial run to see if we could do a big drive to race practice this weekend and i think it’s safe to say we’ll be going. they were not stressed at all about anything, so i feel good about a bigger field trip.

why doesn't anyone care about art anymore. the music program at my college is dying much faster than i thought. they dont seem to care about the parts of humanity that are so frequently taken for granted.

do people not still hum to themselves? draw stick figures? do little dances when they're alone? are people so caught up in the disappointments of the world that they forget to enjoy it? enjoy beauty?

have we lost our conception of beauty? now that ai is taking all the arts from us we should appreciate the beaty of real art but we don't. we are so caught up in hating the things that are bad art but we don't appreciate the things that are good art.

and its killing the people that actually create it.

me at my pepe silvia board like no you dont get it the entire reason for the position in ch11 and why ghost held soaps hands down was him hanging onto the lash shred of thinking he can control the situation and soaps feelings for him/vice versa, trying to convince himself soap Just wants sex so he'll let soap fuck but nothing more, no ounce of control over simon, no touching, no tenderness, no letting johnny show how much he genuinely cares. simon lets go of his hands at the end thinking that was it, he fucked it out of johnnys system and they can move past the tension and just be pilots but of course hes Wrong and johnnys head over heels for him and immediately shows how much he genuinely cares for and worships simon by touching him so gently, showing how much he thinks every inch of SIMON is beautiful and wants SIMON, not simon riley or ghost but Just Simon. and simon letting johnny push him back to take care of him for the rest is that final acceptance of his feelings and johnnys feelings. touching johnnys ribs and thinking they feel familiar bc its the same desire they both share

hey um. this sucks and i hate it but

tl;dr last month i lost £1400 in a rental scam and it has fucked me so bad financially and i'm just. i am Scraping my rent and bills together on my part-time pay while i'm doing my tattoo apprenticeship just about but i literally Can't Afford to move out, even though moving somewhere cheaper would Extremely Help rn, bc my landlord's barking at me about increasing the rent past what my paycheck can cover and i'm still at Least a few months out from making any money from tattooing

i would love to do commissions or Something to make it worth people's while but i have so little time to work on them, and i've been trying to flog what very limited other art stuff i can to no avail so now it's just beggin' time lmao
