Thinking about calling Jason Todd ‘angel’. He loves a good pet name, uses all kinds of variations of ‘baby’ and ‘darling’ for you, but he’s still floored the first time you call him ‘angel’. It’s silly and mundane the first time it happens, hey could grab me the flour off the top shelf, Angel? And he swears his knees turn to jelly. He’s embarrassed by how badly he likes it. Angel, like in your eyes the cracked bones and bloodstained scars of his body are something good and pure. Angel, like after every deal with the devil he’s made he’s still an innocent in your eyes.

One word has his palms going sweaty, skin tight and itchy, vision blurring at how badly he wants it to be true. And once you notice just how badly he wants to be your angel, any pretence that it doesn’t bring him to his knees evaporates. Got you crooning oh Angel as you stitch him back together in body and mind. He’s your Angel as you laughingly reach out to tangle your hands at the curls at the nape of his neck and pull him down to nip at those treacherously soft lips. Jason Todd’s been a lot of things in his short life but he thinks he likes being your Angel best of all.

Okay, hear me out. I can't stop thinking about how hard it would be trying to surprise Izana. So I needed to write something about it!

Headcanon + a little drabble of Izana x gn!reader.

Warnings: it's Izana so... Yandere tendencies (I mean, it's kinda canon that he's possessive as fuck xD)

HEADCANON:

Usually, you don't mind how clingy Izana can be.

You love spending time with your boyfriend, so even if he can be a little or a lot overprotective and possessive you're okay with it.

Except, when you want to give him a surprise.

Buying a present for Izana in secret it's almost an impossible mission.

Even if you manage to go shopping alone (how? Who knows), he would make some Tenjiku member follow you around.

Well, he would make Kakucho follow you around. He doesn't trust anyone else with you.

Luckily for you, Kakucho realizes what you're doing and ends up helping you to choose the perfect present for Izana (really, Kakucho have too much patient with his king, he deserves the world).

After that, you always ask for Kakucho's help when you are planning any type of surprise for your boyfriend.

Izana wasn't happy.

At all.

He was planning on spending the afternoon with you, cuddleling together. But, apparently, you didn't have time for him.

How dared you? Izana was your boyfriend, why on Earth he couldn't be resting on your lap right now?

So, of course, Izana was raging.

After beating up a few idiots that had the bad luck of existing "too loudly", he was venting to Kakucho.

"I don't get it! What could be more important for them than me, exactly? They are mine!"

Kakucho just sighed, completly used to Izana's tantrums at this point.

"Izana, today is 13th of February."

The scarred boy replied calmly, hoping his king would take the hint.

"So?"

"That means tomorrow is Valentine's Day."

Just like that, Izana's wrath disappeared completly. A soft smile on his face.

he buys you snacks and gifts you a cute handmade keychain the next time you come over after that. you're confused but delighted. he sticks just a little closer that day, and you allow it.

Neri recieved her golden kangaroo hair tie from her mother as a present for 'graduating' from the necessary studies required to officially start her position in the mafia - as up until that point, she was completely self-taught from reading her father's vast collection of medical books.

Whilst her mother was not supportive of a mafia lifestyle herself and had always adamantly insisted Neri shouldn't be involved nor follow in her father's footsteps - the graduation present of a hairtie paying homage to one part of Neri's heritage was a way of her mother accepting Neri's decisions. 'I don't support the place you're going, but I will always support you' - and to carry something of her mother with her always, in a world predominately dominated by what her father lives and breathes.

It wasn't long after this gift that Neri's mother vanished. A parental dispute? Someone involved in the mafia taking care of some loose threads in an otherwise cooperative chain of command? All that Neri knows on the matter is what her father had always told her; that Marie couldn't handle the stress and notoriety of the lifestyle and presumably went back home.

Neri writes to her mother's old address on occasions. She has never recieved any response.
