Another TF2 AU Idea:

Cow Fortress 2! An AU where all the Mercs are Cows!

Here's what Cows The Boys would be:

Offense Class

Scout = Jersey Cow (with a tiny bit of Charolais thanks to Spy)

Soldier = Red Angus

Pyro = ??? (Speculated to be either a Rarámuri Criollo or a Caracu)

Defense Class

Engineer: Texan Longhorn (obvs)

Heavy: Kalmyk Cattle

Demoman Black Scottish Highland (I mean, c'mon)

Support Class

Medic: Black and White Holstein-Friesian

Spy: Charolais

Sniper: Droughtmaster (that was adopted by a Murray Grey couple)

TF2 Headcanon #1:

The TF2 Comics are a different timeline/continuity than the TF2 Meet the Team Short and Expiration Date!

Thus things like Solly x Zhanna, Medic having a wife, and Sniper's real parents being from Atlantis did not happen/are not a thing in my version of the TF2 canon

But other things like Sniper being adopted by his Aussie parents, Spy being Scout's Dad, and Heavy's family are canon in my version of the TF2 canon

So if anyone feels like my ideas and headcanons for TF2 are contradicted by the comics, this is why!

(This is because, in my humble opinion, I have always felt dissatisfaction with the TF2 comics despite the amazing art and many hilarious moments, but have always felt that having the team be separated for most of the comics' run defeated the point of creating a TF2 comic series or animated series: which are the Mercs and how they interact with each other and their dynamic as a team and found family)

(Plus I just have grown very tired of the storyline of having a team or group of friends be separated for a whole season/arc, especially by that stupid Breakup Arc Trope, it's been done WAY too much now)

(I'm taking a big risk in letting this idea out of confinement since it's a pretty fuckin wacky one this time, brace yerselfs!)

TF2 AU Idea: You know how in the TF2 Comics how Medic was able to surgically insert baboon uteruses into people?

Well, since we all know that Medic is the pure epitome of a Mad Scientist and loves to experiment on bodies, most likely even his own

He would've come up with the seemingly asinine and morbid idea to give himself a baboon uterus (don't think he wouldn't do this to himself lol), create a way to combine all the Mercs' and his own "DNA" into one egg (excluding Scout since I see him being a eldest kid/older brother figure in this kinda AU) in order to have a child thats biologically related to all 8 Mercs (a daughter in this case)

All this in order to Medic to have a way to keep himself and all the Mercs together as one big found family if and when there comes the end of the war between the Mann Brothers, so even the Administrator would have a hard time separating the group!

Yeah, they're all too attached to each other to not pull off a fucking cuckoo bananas idea just to stick together as the Unit they are (and Scout gets a new little sister out of it too)!

(this is also slightly based on a dream I had at around 15/16 years old that was basically just me being Sniper's daughter, so it was fun to remember for this)!

(writing this down so I can actually remember to draw these out)

Offense Class

Scout = Earth Pony/Changeling Hybrid (Changeling Parts for RED resembles a Common Ladybug and for BLU resembles a Steelblue Ladybug)

Soldier = Earth Pony

Pyro = Reindeer (specializes in Pyromancy/Fire Magic which is very foreign and odd to Reindeer Culture) (Though Others Speculate that They Possibly Either Have Draconequus Ancestry or Are a Draconequus)

Defense Class

Engineer: Earth Pony (with Paint Horse/Pinto Pattern Similar to Sunburst or Troubleshoes)

Heavy: Earth Pony/Draft Horse (Appearance Wise is Like A Combo of Big Mac and Troubleshoes)

Demoman: Pegasus/Zebra Hybrid (Zegasus)

Support Class

Medic: Unicorn

Sniper: Earth Pony/Merpony (Raised by and Grew Up Around Griffins, Doesn't Learn About Being a Merpony Until He's Much Older)

Spy: Metamorphosed/Redeemed Changeling (RED Resembles a Red Jewel Bug while BLU Resembles a Blue Milkweed Beetle)

Administration/Secondary Characters

Ms. Pauling: Unicorn

The Administrator: Alicorn (via Austrailium; Formerly a Unicorn)

Saxton Hale: Griffin

Marasmus: Alicorn (Naturally Born)

The Mann Brothers: Earth Pony (Redford), Unicorn (Blutarch), Pegasus (Gray)

PolyMercs Headcanon 2/???

LuluBelle's and Leon's Last Name That was Chosen for Them is Beaufort (Yes, they're kinda named after Teufort since Lulu and Leon were born there duh)

The Mercs Have Now Also Adopted the Last Name for Themselves as Their Own Alternative "Government Surname" to Make it Harder for Their Real Names and Identities to be Tracked (Esp for Spy's and Medic's cases)!

So for Example, Soldier Now Either Goes by Jane Doe-Beufort or Simply Jane Beaufort!

PolyMercs AU Headcanon 1/???

All 8 of the Mercs are pretty much just Hollyhock's parents from Bojack Horseman if you ever needed someone to compare them all to!

(How they all made their "union" official was basically they were all just dating each other by accident after a while but only a few of them (like Medic, Heavy, Solly, and Engie) were able to actually admit it themselves until Medic executed the experiment that got Medic to have LuluBelle, which made them all so close to the point they all just stopped giving a shit and just outright said they were official)

(All Scout said in reaction to the news was how it was so obvious he wasn't surprised at all, plus he already knew Medic is a nutter so yeah)

TF2 Headcanon 2:

I consider the TF2 game's canon and my version of the TF2 canon (and esp my TF2 Next Gen I'm reviving sometime soon) is my own version of a Ambiguous Time Period that takes places from any time from the late 60s to the Present Day

(mostly cuz all the pop culture references in TF2 in general just boggle my mind in such a Specific Way I love it)

This is all thanks to the Respawn Machines giving all the respective Mercs including the administration like Pauling and The Administrator herself a bastardized version of immortality, making it a definite way to keep the Gravel Wars in a stalemate!

(Bonus HC: my TF2 NG takes place in the Early 2000s to Present Day)

(Disclaimer for this post: this is based on the father/daughter-like dynamic that has shown up as of the third episode of Season 3, so I thought I would just incorporate it into my fanon/my personal Child's Play TL)

But to sum things up: I'm creating the headcanon that at some point in the timeline, The Rays take in and eventually adopt Lexy and Caroline!

I'm thinking that when Lexy and Caroline would've been the ages they were in the second season (Lexy being 15 and Caroline being 7), when basically the new Tiffany in Prison storyline for season three would've happened to their mom instead (basically she killed their dad in during an argument/fight and she's in prison now)

Since Chucky and Caroline were already pretty good friends before everything happened, it didn't take long for them to develop a deep bond and for Caroline to start calling him Dad by the first year or so of living with them. It took Lexy MUCH longer for her to even consider Chucky and Tiffany as her new parents (she started when she turned 18)

Oh, and if anything with Chucky and Caroline changes for the bad in the future, please disregard that when you look at this headcanon and OceanBerry as a whole since its a very canon divergent AU!
