Costume Notes: After she goes off stage from being released from her job under Marie-Antoinette she changes into this outfit and is seen with this costume for the first time in "Ca ira mon amour" number. She also carries a bag, which I assume is done to show she just packed up and left her job and is now ready to leave to be with Ronan. The buttons on her jacket are also handmade.

Costume Notes: Shimizu did not return for her role in 2018, thus Ori who joined for the 2018 production inherited Shimizu's costume.

Ensemble, Orange Revolution Costume (吉元美里衣/Yoshimoto Milly, 撟本由希子/Hashimoto Yukiko) 1789 Les Amants de la Bastille Jp Toho 2016-18 (7/15)

First row and second row right is Yoshimoto in 2016. The rest is all Hashimoto from 2018. Yoshimoto and Hashimoto also took a photo together in second row center.

Costume Notes: Yoshimoto did not return for her role in 2018, thus Hashimoto who joined for the 2018 production inherited Yoshimoto's costume. From what I can tell the only change in the costume is a new lace color for the bodice and a belt was added for 2018.

Ensemble, Manon/マノン Revolution Costume (花岡麻里名/Hanaoka Marina) 1789 Les Amants de la Bastille Jp Toho 2018 (4/15)

All photos are of Hanaoka playing Manon in 2018 except for the last row center and right image which is from 2016 where Hanaoka was not Manon.

Costume Notes: As stated in the previous post, there is no set Manon costume since she is played by an ensemble dancer. Whatever costume they happen to wear in the scene becomes the Manon costume. It's also interesting to note that all the "revolution" female ensemble costumes stay mostly the same from 2016 and 2018, thus many actors wear the same exact costume in 2018 as they did in 2016, if they were in both productions, or if they only did 2018 they would receive a hand-me-down costume used in 2016.

Ensemble, Manon/マノン Revolution Costume (佐伯理沙/Saeki Risa) 1789 Les Amants de la Bastille Jp Toho 2016 (3/15)

First row shows Saeki as Manon in 2016. The other photos are from 2018 with Hirai Kotomi wearing the same costume; however, she does not play Manon.

Costume Notes: Unlike Lucille, Manon is part of the female ensemble dancers, so her costume is whatever the chosen actor is wearing during the scene. This means that there is no specific costume for Manon. From 2016 to 2018 the dancer assigned as Manon differ, so the dress also differs. This yellow skirt costume is the ensemble costume that was worn for Manon in 2016. The only noticeable change in the costume from 2016-18 is the belt is switched out and the bodice doesn't fit as well on Hirai as it did on Saeki but that is to be expected with costumes that are handed down.
