Kitty was from Gotham.

So! Kitty was on her way to her old hometown to see what ever happened to her Dad.

See, she used to live in Gotham with her dad, mom nowhere to be seen of course, before running away to be with Johnny and subsequently dying.

She thought it would be better for her dad, not having another mouth to feed on a tight budget and not having to deal with their constant arguments every day. Looking back on it though, that might not have been the best idea. She hadn't even left a note, and for all they argued he did care about her enough that her disappearance would distress him.

But that was fine, she was going to check up on him right now!

He wasn't dead yet, she knew that much thanks to the Kid letting her access the Records of the Realms, but there was apparently some kind of Complications with his File which made it hard to pin down exactly how he was doing and where he was. So right now she was just wandering the streets of Gotham looking for him.

And guess what? No she still hadn't found him yet, he was suprisingly hard to track down. But she did find her apparent BROTHER!

Yeah, apparently sometime after she ran away, he had gotten himself another kid! He was too old to have been a bio kid so it was probably an adoption, but he definitely had a Connection to her Dad, the same kind that all parents and their kids have on their souls.

Well, if he adopted a kid that was fine by her, after all she always wanted a little brother (the Kid didn't count yet), but she kinda wished she had known before now!

She was gonna go introduce herself!

Tim was having a very weird day.

Well, it was a normal day for the most part. It became a weird one when a teenage girl walked up to him and introduced herself as his Sister, asking where their Dad was.

This wouldn't have been too distressing, Tim looked fairly average by the standards of Gotham and it would be easy to mistake him for another person with black hair and blue eyes.

The Distressing Part was that the girl in question had green hair, paper-white skin, and blood-red lipstick all covering a face he knew all too well. He saw it every time he had a nightmare about that night.

This Girl was the Joker's Daughter.

Idk if there's any canon information about it, but I like to think that Bruce gave his children not only room but the whole floor. 

Dick lived on the seventh floor, because he likes to be on top, and even after he moved out the floor remained his.

Cass took the first floor, because she feels the most comfortable on the ground and she likes the idea of protecting her family, since all intruders have to get through her first. 

Jason was on the fourth floor because Wayne's library is also there, after his death Bruce avoided this floor, after his resurrection Bruce still refuses to change anything there. 

Tim got the fifth floor, he originally planned to take Jason's floor for a reason™, but Bruce truly did not vibe with it, so the fifth was the closest he was allowed to take. 

Damian shares the third floor with Bruce, they told him it was because he was the blood son, but actually it's because Bruce wants to keep an eye on this tiny baby.

Duke kind of had to settle for the sixth, because all others were taken, but he doesn't complain because “holy shit I have my own floor?”

The second floor belongs to Alfred, he used to live on the third when Bruce was little, but later moved on to the second to subtly look after this manchild.

every time Dazai's ever had to give his phone number for something, he gives Chuuya's, and Chuuya's blocked so many numbers calling about trying to sell him things. and every time he's had to politely explain to another woman the situation, he doesn't let Dazai hear the end of it, and threatens to send Dazai's address to all of them

and that puts the fear of god in Dazai

After seeing Luigi's attempt to fib under interrogation in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, I was convinced Luigi couldn't lie to save his life.

Then Brothership happened, in which Luigi...

Tore off his disguise in the middle of a crowd of enemies two separate times when he got overexcited about soda.

Loudly proclaimed "yes!" when it was suggested he might be a spy in a spy side-quest.

In the same side-quest, nearly thwarted his ally's ruse by "correcting him."

Clearly, pretending to be someone he's not causes Luigi's mind to short circuit... UNLESS he's dressed as Princess Peach, in which case his performance is flawless.

Thus I have been brought to this logical conclusion:

Luigi's a great liar, but only if he's wearing drag.

"Grandfather."

Ra's knew who the boy was the moment he'd snuck into the room. He'd allowed the child--more man than child now, but everyone was a child compared to him--moments to steel himself while Ra's refrained from acknowledging his presence. The boy's breath was barely audible but unsteady, and a drop of something fell to the floor.

His grandson was injured. "Danyal," he greeted and finally gazed upon him for the first time in seven years.

Danyal had grown into his father's height, yet stayed lean in regards to his musculature. His black hair had grown out of the League-regulation haircut, held back in a messy braid. He held himself as strong as he could, but kept an arm wrapped around his stomach. His shirt--standard American teenage garb, he dismissed--was spotted with blood and he could see bandages poking out from under the cloth.

With great care, Danyal knelt before the Demon Head and recited the Oath of Loyalty.

Ra's watched.

The boy's tongue, fat with English, spoke the League's variant of Arabic with the grace of a mace to the head, yet his words were clear. He took his time speaking the oath, carefully sounding out words, working hard to avoid mispronunciation. The Oath in question was the older version, from before Deathstroke's insurrection, but Danyal spoke it with a calm certainty that it would be accepted.

And without a doubt, it would be accepted.

Talia's eldest son had been born from her body instead of through science, a mistake that nearly cost her the child and damaged him upon birth. While the best doctors in the world saved his life, Danyal Al Ghul would always be weak in a fight, always prone to illness, always struggling to excel. When it became clear that the boy couldn't become the next Demon Head, Ra's sent Talia to create a replacement while arrangements were made for her first child to be taught business and science, for the betterment of the League. Danyal, very much his father's child, thrived in his intellectual pursuits while Damian grew and developed into a budding assassin.

But Danyal was more like his father than he'd ever knew. Ra's couldn't miss the signs of one of his family turning away from the League. Not the mission--Danyal had written several university level papers defending the environment by the time the boy was 10--but Ra's methods...

Ra's had a conundrum. Danyal was a dedicated conservationist; once the boy was an adult, Ra's was certain he'd take the world by storm and bring the League to new heights. But if he forced his methods onto Danyal, he could create an enemy of him, just as his father was.

Ra's gave Danyal an offer; Danyal would be allowed to leave the League and live a normal life if and only if he faked his own death in such a way that reinforced Damian's loyalty to the League of Assassins.

Danyal had been hesitant at first, but past his test with flying colors. Instigating one of the more unstable assassins into organizing a coup, cutting the insurgents off near immediately, but "dying" protecting both his younger brother and mother. It was a masterful performance. Even Talia hadn't known about the deceit.

And yet, here he was, on his knees, pledging loyalty. Danyal knew what that meant, knew what he was returning to, which morals he would be allowed to keep.

"And what do you bring with you, child of no one?" Why should the League accept the return of this child, who left once before?

Danyal met his eyes. "I bring with me, my team, who are loyal to me and me alone. I bring with me, research surrounding the Lazarus Pits, in origins and further uses for the waters." Ra's raised an eyebrow, and Danyal smirked. "I bring with me, my knowledge, nurtured within this very home and sharpened in the world outside. I bring with me, my weapons, built with my own hands. I bring with me... my body, finally healthy and whole." He brought his head down to the floor, trembling with pain. "I bring my whole self to the Demon's Head, for Him to accept or reject."

Ra's smiled. "By the shadows that guard our order and the blood that binds us, I accept this oath. From this day forward, you are an instrument of the League, a harbinger of justice, and a weapon in the hand of Ra's Al Ghul."

Danyal returned to his feet, swaying percariously. He needed immediate medical attention. Despite this, he continued, "Long live the League of Assassins. Long live Ra's Al Ghul."

And he collapsed onto the floor.

Hey is the 'Shockwave is mid/bad at flying' thing canon or is this something I saw on your blog and just Accepted as truth. I sprinkled that detail into one of my fics yesterday and realized I actually wasn't sure where I got that from but I managed to backtrack the thought process to your blog

No it's entirely my headcanon. The thought process basically was:

We never see Shockwave's alt mode in comics. But it was confirmed that he has a flying alt made for space travel. He CAN fly but he never uses it even in highly dangerous situations. Therefore. I like to think he is not a very good flyer or perhaps his alt isn't efficient when not in space:)

There is a strong potential that neither Wade or Logan think they're dating. Everyone else just assumes they are. Because they are.

But Logan is convinced that they're just friends with benefits who live together. And yeah, he does enjoy an occasional afternoon nap and cuddle, for selfish reasons. And yes, sometimes he makes Wade breakfast. Sure, he does carry snacks in his pockets when they go out just in case Wade gets hungry. It's casual, obviously.

Wade thinks they're besties. It's completely normal to fuck your best friend with an extra high libido occasionally. Every other set best friends is equivalently likely to give each other massages occasionally. Kissing? Unromantic friend behavior. Hugging dick-to-dick in your boxers for more than a few seconds? Totally platonic, why would you think otherwise?

Thinking about Stanley panicking or getting embarrassed and he just starts stating random facts???

Like he will accidentally be really soft in front of the others and when they point it out and tease him, he makes some half excuses that aren't working and then BAM textbook like speech on how interdimensions work and equations necessary for it. Then he just smacks a plant vase off a table as a distraction and makes a run for it.

I have aquired new Arlecchino knowledge I want to share with you (and hoping I’m not the only one who is that forgetful) but apparently you can’t take pictures of her without going through tons of formalities with Snezhnaya’s government (do they even have one or does that stuff get all handled by the Fatui????? No idea tbh) but HOLY that makes so much sense to me and I hate how I didn’t realize this sooner.

I just know that there is this mystery surrounding her person since nobody actually knows what she looks like beyond the people who have seen her in person and that’s just so?????? Hot???? I cannot explain why but that shit gets me going right now.

That just further feeds into my hc of her being absolutely SHAMELESSLY over you in public because she knows exactly that there is no one to document how she is literally devouring your mouth in broad daylight. The Knave sighted with her wife in the most scandalous position but who would honestly gaf about that if you can just sue them for all their worth if they dare document the incident.
