❥ When you two gained a little confidence after meeting eachother, he made sudden physical contact without announcing himself (slapping your back or firmly holding your shoulder out of the blue), which he didn't know would greatly startle you, even if you didn't show it.

❥ Since you explained it to him, he became THE GENTLEST. He tries to be in front of you or at your side whenever he's about to make physical contact, in order for you to anticipate and mentally permit the action.

❥ He caresses your shoulder and back, surrounds you with his arm, occasionally hugs you.

❥ You know the crusaders are trustworthy, and great guys. So you don't feel hesitant to make physical contact with them at all, which is very valuable.

❥ He's the most touchy with you because you two get along very well.

❥ His generally cheerful attitude helps your anxious one.

❥ Not to mention that his simple humor and his goofyness are absolute gold

❥ He makes you laugh a lot with the stupidest puns, and the others can see him inflating his chest with pride from making you feel happy.

❥ If you're overstimulated, he'll give you space and tell the others to keep as quiet as possible and not disturb you. He'll literally be your guard knight for the day and remember you he'll help in any way he can.

✦ He hasn't talked with you about the 'tism a lot, because he thinks it must be a tedious enough thing to live with and doesn't wanna pressure you into informing him about all the details.

✦ However, he'll listen attentively and try to remember everything you point out about yourself. Kakyoin cares, and shows it trough his actions.

✦ He likes to gift you emeralds he creates with Hierophant Green, because fidgeting and watching the light refract in them keeps you entertained and helps a lot with stress.

✦ Whenever he notices you peacefully playing with an emerald, he smiles to himself.

✦ Especially when you're watching the sunlight bounce inside the green gem, which is beautiful. And the emerald's pretty as well.

✦ Regardless if you're good at painting or not, he'll encourage you to paint with him in order to decompress.

✦ Mostly abstract or kindergarten level paintings, nothing serious in order to set your intuition and senses free.

✦ When you forget to put on your sunglasses while it's really bright outside, he knows you'll get gradually overstimulated and pissed off.

✦ So he remembers you to put them on, or offers you his own.

✦ Always tries to get you to eat pieces of fruit when they're available.

✦ If you like fruit he'll pick up your favorites, and if not he'll try to pick the most appetizing looking ones and convince you to try them.

✦ "These dates are amazing, they almost taste like brown sugar. Want to try one?"

✦ He'll not force you to try the ones you have tried and don't like, though.

✦ He has helped you on some occasions to regulate sensorially, simply by tying a straightjacket around you with his stand. The pressure feels like a tight hug, and it is strangely soothing, calming you down completely in a matter of minutes. You're both weirdly into it.

★ There's AT LEAST one thing you have in common: You don't like small talk. So being able to sit in comfortable silence with him turns out to be a nice break for both.

★ For that reason, he always listens to you, because he knows you won't talk just for the sake of it. If you bring up something, it's most likely worthy of his attention.

★ His cold behavior makes it seem as if he doesn't care about your sensitivities. However, Star Platinum shows otherwise.

★ As much as an obedient Stand he is, he's always ready to appear against Jotaro's command in order to interact with you.

★ Star has appeared in some occasions to cover your ears with his enormous hands when you're overwhelmed by all the noise in a crowded place.

★ "Give me a break..."

Jotaro whispers, walking by your side while his stand is floating above you. He is concentrating on shielding your ears from the hubbub of the place. Jotaro lets out a sigh with his mouth closed, remotely feeling the soft texture of your hair trough his stand's hands.

★ Star also brings you little gifts. Catches bugs for you to see, picks cool rocks, steals little trinkets to give you. Everything just to make you smile, which warms him to his core.

★ As much as Jotaro acts pissed about his stand manifesting w/o permission, he is actually glad that at least his Stand is able to do things for you he's too embarrassed to do himself.

★ And don't ever bring this up: you've catched him smirking once or twice at his stand's actions. Specifically when he makes you smile.

★"Eat your damn food and drink your goddamn water. If not, don't be complaining about being hungry later, because I'm not letting Star bring you snacks".

★ (Like he can do something to stop him. Seriously SP is out of control ☠️)

★ At some point, you mentioned in front of him that having a bit of weight on top of you normally helps you sleep better. Next thing you know, Star Platinum's snuggling next to you in bed whenever you're struggling to fall asleep.

★ He hugs you with one of his arms and the slight pressure of its weight makes you feel secure. (He's the cutest thing ever I seriously cannot)

(obviously he also accompanied you and put on a face mask!!)

If I had any advice for anyone who wants to start making OCs like it is your very first one, specifically a sona/self-insert, it would be "Make That Mary Sue/Gary Stu." I'm deadass (meaning serious). Everyone starts somewhere and as you collect and dump everything you love onto that ONE character, you'll eventually start refining it and chiseling away at what you don't need or adding&subtracting things when you plug them into whatever universe you choose. . . As you've probably figured out from this entire blog. It doesn't need to be PERFECT from the start. And if anything, you can use the remnants of what you took away from that character to make other OCs. I don't post much OC stuff to Tumblr, at least I don't remember doing so, but I do have more OCs somewhere in my storage.

☻ / synopsis . . . polnareff is a knight in charge of protecting the princess, ( y/n ). the two are close, closer than they truly even realize until polnareff is abducted from his post in the middle of the night and she has to save him. as she nurses him back to health, their true feelings come out.

“You did what?!” Polnareff questioned before jolting as he felt the cooling sensation of the ointment she applied to his skin. Worry was written in his face as his blue eyes watched her tired form tend to his wounds for days, even before he woke up.

He knew she was tired no matter how hard she tried to keep a smile on her face. She herself was even hurt. Brushing off the wounds and scars that made their home on the outer layer of her skin.

None of it mattered to her, all that mattered was he was safe. She had saved him.

A few dozen knights were abducted at dead of night, taken from their post by a neighboring kingdom to draw the attention of not only the king but of her as well.

( y/n ) was a beautiful woman. Her beauty had been admired by men from near and far. From the everyday citizens of her kingdom to the citizens and princes of both allied and hostile kingdoms who wished to be graced by her presence.

Not only was she beautiful, but she was also a woman of kindness who put the health and safety of her nation above her own. Dancing and playing with the children, helping the men and women with their daily activities, gifting all the money in her pockets to the less fortunate. She had the love and support of the people.

She would be an amazing queen one day, and an even better wife to any royal who managed to catch her eye.

Yet she never paid any other royal any mind. She hardly spared many a second glance as she chuckled and skipped along with the white-haired knight she spent most of her time with.

Polnareff, the knight she’s known even before he had been dubbed a knight.

She recalled the day she had first met him, seeing him battling with another squire, losing terribly. She couldn’t help but giggle as he fell onto his back, dropping his wooden sword.

He had closed his eyes, trying to catch his breath. When he opened his eyes again, hovering over him was ( y/n ) smiling, hands behind her back. He almost felt his soul leave his body, a high-pitched scream leaving his lips. The other squires had looked to him with a look of annoyance.

“You know...for a squire you sure are jumpy. You sure you want to be a knight?” She questioned.

Polnareff struggled to climb to his feet, nervous beyond belief. He dusted off his fabrics, picking up his wooden sword to place it on his hip. “Yes...it’s...it’s my dream,” He answered her question, standing as tall as he could.

He mentally cursed himself. He was standing in front of the princess of the nation he wanted to protect. Yet there he stood embarrassing himself. It wasn’t likely he would be dubbed a knight now. The other squires were miles ahead of him, it wasn’t likely he would catch up.

She had only smiled at him, “Good luck! I’m rooting for you!”

It was the beginning of their friendship. He was the knight she trusted the most, the knight she trusted with her life. He was also the knight who could truly keep up with her and keep her out of trouble.

( y/n ) was a sweet woman, but she had the tendency to find herself in trouble. Polnareff didn’t have enough hands to count the number of times he had to protect her from herself. No matter how many times he lectured her about her poor choices, she always found herself in another bad choice, and there he was coming to her rescue.

But now was different. He was the one who was in trouble and it was her fault.

She publicly rejected the marriage proposal of a prince who had traveled for days just to ask for her hand.

The two royals had shared a short dance at a ball to celebrate his arrival before he fell to one knee and pulled out a velvet box. He reached to take her hand into his own gently, his sparkling eyes looking into her shocked and horrified expression.

She felt the pressure to accept his proposal. She felt the eyes of her people look on with looks of glee and happiness for her. She understood the consequences of what could come if she said no. She knew she could possibly ruin a potential alliance between kingdoms. But this isn’t what she wanted. This was far from what she wanted.

Her eyes darted across the room, picking out the confused and livid expressions of her parents as well as the dejected look on Polnareff’s face.

Pain struck his chest. It was hard for him to breathe. The world around him had stilled as he stared at the sight before him. Regret filled him as he saw the royal on one knee.

She was a royal, it was to be expected she would marry another royal. He was a lowly knight, one who wouldn’t have even made it this far without her. She deserved to be happy with a man who could truly understand her in ways he couldn’t. So why was the pain so unbearable?

He found himself, pushing through the crowd to get out of there so no one could see him tear up. But she saw. She loved her kingdom, but she couldn’t bring himself to marry a man she had just met that night.

( y/n ) ripped her hand away from him, pushing herself through the crowd to run after Polnareff. She had left the prince in the middle of the ballroom, leaving the citizens to whisper and mutter among themselves as they stared at him.

She did not find Polnareff that night, or the day after. Not even the day after that, though she grew more worried by the day. That’s when another knight, Jotaro, had broken the news to her of Polnareff and the other knights' abduction and ransom of her hand in marriage in exchange for returning them safely.

Without discussing the topic with her father, she gathered her things and set off to rescue Polnareff herself. Along the way, she was reluctantly joined by Jotaro and Kakyoin, who couldn’t just let her walk into harm’s way without any kind of protection.

Through an eventful night of trying to rescue the knights who were abducted, ( y/n ) found herself with deep cuts and bruises she hadn’t even noticed until after she got him back to the safety of her room.

“I can’t believe you did that, and for me of all people. I don’t understand,” Polnareff said perplexed.

“Of course I would do it for you. And I’d do it again, I care about you Polnareff,” She revealed.

Silence filled the room.

The feeling in her chest continued to grow as it had since the moment she went to save him. She had written it off at first as admiration for him. She had known him for quite a while. He had been the knight who served under her, protecting her with his life, always by her side, always being there for her.

But admiration couldn’t even begin to describe the overwhelming feeling she felt for him.

The urge she felt to hold him in her arms, to hold his face, to protect him, to...love him.

But she wasn’t sure he felt the same way. But she would never know if she hadn’t even tried.

“Polnareff, I—”

“( y/n ), I—”

Silence.

“Sorry...”

“I’m sorry.”

More silence.

“You go first.”

“You can go first.”

Even more silence.

“Same time?” ( y/n ) offered, earning a nod from Polnareff. She counted down to zero on her fingers.

“I’m in love with you!” They said together, both of their confessions only sinking in seconds after they said it. “You do?” ( y/n ) questioned.

Polnareff rubbed the back of his neck nervously, “Yeah...I do. I’m more surprised you feel the same way. I mean look at us, we couldn’t be any more different. You’re the princess, you’re going to rule over this nation as queen one day. You have men near and far fawning over you...I’m just one of many knights. I’m not some royal. I don’t know what you’d see in me.”

“I don’t want ‘some royal’. I want you.”

“You want me?”

“Yes, I want you. Why would I want some royal when I could have a white-haired knight who takes care of me and I can take care of him? I don’t want some snobby royal. I want a goofy, honorable charming knight who cares about me rather than power and wealth. I want a knight named Polnareff,” She cooed.

His face flushed, seeing how adorable she was as she went on about him. She looked so happy talking about him, not anyone else, him. “But...what about your status? What about the kingdom? How could you even be with me? It won’t be easy to be with me.”

“I know it won’t be easy. And I want to take that risk if you want to because like I said, I love you and I meant that,” She professed, taking his hand into hers.

“I love you too, ( y/n ),” He beamed, intertwining their fingers. “I pray the king won’t be too upset with me.”

“Oh no, he is very upset with the both of us.”
