"Colby is gonna keep his opinions to himself, right?" Chris looks back at Dani as they drive to meet up with Sam and Colby for their Hell Week video.

"Who the hell knows? He still hasn't apologized to me or Matt. Mainly me. HIS SISTER!" Dani shouts still pissed with Colby.

"So it's gonna be awkward the whole time?" Nick speaks up.

"No, because we can act like adults." Matt adds.

"Maybe me and you. Not so sure about Colby." Dani looks out the window.

"If we act like everything is fine then he should too." Matt glances at her through the mirror.

"Today we're with the Sturniolo Triplets." Colby introduces the boys.

"And me too." Dani waves at the camera.

"Guys, you have no idea how excited I am to be back." Matt lets the two know.

"He's been talking nonstop since y'all talked about filming together again." Dani adds and Matt nods his head a bit, "Even in his sleep." She laughs embarrassing him.

"In her bed or yours?" Sam asks Matt.

Matt glances over at Colby for just a second, "Both beds." He nods his head making Chris smile at him and Sam shows Colby making a face.

"Hasn't even been 5 minutes, guys." Dani sighs knowing how some viewers are gonna hate the video now.

"Welcome inside." Sam opens the door.

"I can't believe y'all  have like keys to this building." Matt says as he goes inside.

"Hell yeah, it's ours." Colby laughs.

"I'm not spending the night with you two." Dani follows in behind Nick.

"It's weird cause it just looks like a school." Nick laughs looking around.

"It is a school." Colby laughs at him as they go into a classroom.

"These yellow chairs are kinda sick." Nick goes over to them.

"That's like peach." Dani walks over to see the color better.

"Those are not yellow." Matt tells Nick.

"Way more yellow." Nick disagrees with them.

"Those are pink." Chris speaks up.

"That's peach." Colby agrees with his sister.

Everyone starts to agree they're more peach-ish and orange-ish but Nick still didn't agree with the color, "Yellow."

"That is not yellow." Sam tells him.

"Comment below what color you think the chair is." Matt tells the viewers before placing his hand on Dani's lower back as she passes him to walk somewhere else in the classroom.

"I took a color blind test recently." Nick brings it up, "The three always yell at me cause I say wrong shit like that. But I still think it's yellow." He points at the chairs.

"Wrong." Dani walks over to them.

"How was the result of your test?" Chris asks with a smile.

"That's orange." Matt looks over at it so Dani looks at him mouthing peach so he pinches her side making her leave his side.

"It was not good." Nick says about his color blind test he took.

As they look around the room, Matt sees a piece of paper on a desk, "Some girl has her Snapchat on this, bro." He picks it up and the guys hey at it. "What are we doing with that?" He laughs before reading some of it out loud, "I talked to a few ghosts."

"Get out of here. Get away." Nick says.

"In the auditorium." Matt adds.

"Matt, why do you pick up pages and read them?" Chris asks him.

"Says, they said stuff like they were trapped in the school." Matt continues to read it.

"We got trapped." Colby says.

"Wait, yeah." Sam agrees from what they got the previous day.

"I think you guys always know something I don't." Nick looks at the two.

"That's not true." Colby tells him.

"I don't know, maybe." Sam adds.

"Wait, this is crazy. Should we add her on Snapchat in case?" Matt asks the guys.

Dani gives him a look, "Excuse me now, buddy?" She crosses her arms making everyone laugh even Colby.

"You're about to be single." Chris pats Matt on the shoulder.

"Thought you don't get jelly?" Matt walks over to her side.

"I wasn't jealous. I was wondering about your stupidity to do such a thing." She gives him a big smile.

"Wait, I wanna see where you guys have been sleeping." Nick asks Colby and Sam so they go to where they have been sleeping.

"Guys, is it the third collab we join you on the sleepover or no?" Chris ask as they walk the halls.

"Yeah!" The two smile, "You guys are sleeping here too." Colby adds.

"We got our little cots here." Sam shows the group, "We sleep naked right next to each other." He jokes.

"Bougie experience." Nick tells them.

"We were hiding behind the table because we were scared." Colby tells the group to be funny.

"That's not gonna do much against ghosts." Dani laughs at him.

Next up Sam and Colby take the group to the safe room where all the security screen was. Chris brings up that he feels like the monkey from Toy Story 3 watching all the cameras. Soon the two talk about the principle office and catching a heat figure on camera.

"That's where Dani is going alone tonight." Colby jokes.

"Tell hell I'm not." She looks at him.

"Matt will go with you." Nick motions at him so Matt makes a face.

"He's a wimp too." Dani looks at Matt.

"This is the fallout shelter." Colby tells them where they were heading, "Also known as the gym and where the boiler room is. And we haven't even seen this yet."

"Also one of the most notable shadow figures ever seen." Sam adds to it, "Was right here."

"That is terrifying." Chris point over at a room.

"That's the boiler room." Colby tells them.

"That is like... Just looking at it, like that is not inviting room at all whatsoever." Chris keeps pointing over at it.

"Any of you guys wanna go and take the camera and look around?" Colby asks any of the four.

"Matt you wanna go?" Chris motions over to him.

"I feel like there can't be anything bad." Matt reaches out for the camera taking it from Colby, "Dani, babe, let's go."

"Why drag me into this?" Dani follows behind as well as Nick.

"I really don't want to turn this corner." Nick turns around to look at Matt.

"I didn't think there was more." Matt turns the corner and Dani was still right behind him.

"Oh, nope." Dani turns around refusing to go any farther.

"Oh my God, it's big and it goes-,"

Matt gets a little loud scaring Nick, "MATT, don't say of my god!"

"It goes all the way over there. There's two more rooms. Alright, this is the farthest I'm okay with going." Matt tells everyone before turning back around.

Ahhhhh thank you!!! They're very quick sketches but I poured by heart into them...I'm enjoying this AU so much (；∀；) it's so nice to hear that you like them wahhhhh

And yeah! I think that if LSH and CJS caught on, Cale would tell them. 'Cause there's a different relationship of "ownership" than in canon. In canon, Cale made his deal with the GoD with his back to the wall, knowing there was nowhere else to go. When he saw that KRS!Cale was enjoying his life over in his old world, he was probably able to put to bed any lingering guilt he may have felt for kicking him out of his old body and fully embrace his new life. (We see Cale do the same thing, finally facing the responsibility of dealing with Cale's family's past, as he now fully acknowledges Cale's bio family as his own.)

But here, it's different. Neither one of them intended for the switch to happen, and Cale probably has a much deeper sense that he's merely "borrowing" KRS's body. After all, he may have spent a long time in KRS's body, but he's used to KRS having the final say, being able to veto his any action and kick him out at a moment's notice. It feels weird to fall asleep as KRS and then wake up still as KRS the next day, or to do something reckless without KRS there to act as a brake pedal.

Not sure how much actual ownership they would feel over their own bodies, since—let's face it—KRS would never have that strong of an attachment to himself, and Cale's sense of self is probably completely fucked by now, but they would each be possessed by a stronger feeling of "I have to Give This Back" than they are in canon.

And ohhh on KRS!Cale's side, once people figure out who "Brother" is, they'll see KRS!Cale calling himself trash and go "Oh nooo, that bastard White Star treated him so poorly that he gave the poor boy a complex D:"

And. Like. They're not wrong. But it's. Ah. A bit more complicated than they expected.

And in the meantime, on Cale!KRS's side, his companions are already dealing with KRS acting like a different person, but there's also the paranoia about silence now, too. And they're like, "Oh nooo, poor thing can't leave survival mode even after beating the Tower :("

And! Like! They aren't wrong! But! Alas! Wrong guy!

And ohh LSH being the one to suggest that KRS is now in Cale's body? I can image Cale having up until this point denying it, trying not to think of that as the obvious solution. But now, he's confronted with it so plainly. Might have a mini-panic attack at the thought of his friend having to confront Brother alone. Not having met Brother before, not being used to the kind of pressure Brother can exert just by standing there.

Hmmm, I wonder...if Brother told Cale that he was sick, that the false sights and sounds and distant-ness that haunt him when he's alone was part of the reason Brother had to keep Cale in the tower...would he tell LSH and CJS? I can't quite decide. He might not do it willingly, but perhaps those reality-bending effects of the isolation follow him. Of course, it's better than when he was truly alone, but it takes him by surprise every now and again.

I think that, no matter how many times they catch him talking to or looking at something that's not there, he wouldn't budge, but the moment that seeing a white flower nearly sends him spiraling during an actual monster suppression fight, he'd tell them. Try and say that they need to leave him behind. He'll drag them down. He's sick.

And of course, they're like, my guy. We're not gonna pretend that this is good news, persay, but we're not gonna like. Cut you off or anything. We're glad you told us? And it might be a bit tricky to find in the apocalypse but, like. Have you tried anti-psychotics?

I also really like the idea of giving him the Wander ability...but at the same time I can't help but feel that there's some spice missing from it? Hmm.... He used sleep (the small death) to escape from a confined space and meet with a friend, possessing that friend's body, taking on his name and appearance...there's something there but I can't quite put my finger on it! Hmmmmmm....

Also, the idea of his ability to get back in touch with KRS being locked behind the Towers, dragging him back despite him having ZERO interest in whatever "actual" intended rewards are sitting at the top? Very good. Continuing the trend of "of doing this purely for my own gain" vs "omg he's so selfless, giving all these rewards away to others..."

Ohh y'know what would be evil? If Cale!KRS had to do, like, a series of fetch quests where he had to gather parts/ingredients from different Towers in order to make something that works and can actually reconnect him with KRS!Cale. Now you have to deal with even more of the Towers' tedious bullshit, AND you have to keep the parts you've found so far safe!

On KRS!Cale's side, the McGuffin he needs might be much simpler, but it would be something like a treasure that the evil vizier Adin keeps on his person at all times. Gotta take him down first!

Oh! But on KRS!Cale's side, we need to figure out how KRS!Cale can make himself bleed (either literally or metaphorically, but let's face it, probably literally) for the sake of others! It's vital enrichment for our beloved young master-nim.

Maybe using his healing power is even more exhausting than everything else he does? It's also an incredibly powerful healing ability, able to literally reverse aging, and can be used on people other than the wielder.

I think that KRS!Cale would try his best to hide this skill, knowing it would paint a target on his back, but he would also use it in a heartbeat the minute Choi Han gets badly hurt protecting him.

I also do really like the idea of KRS!Cale having one face-to-face conversation/confrontation with White Star/Brother before fleeing the tower! I will always support KRS/Cale getting one over the White Star.

Also you are so so right, the kiddos are definitely the ones who helped KRS!Cale braid his hair.

I think that tiger!Alberu was either royalty of another kingdom that fell to the White Star's schemes, or he was, from the start, the captain of the royal guard, just disguised as a regular ol' human. Some of the more loyal knights who spent a long time with the captain can still tell that it's Alberu in there, not just a mindless beast, and still follow him accordingly, even though the seals prevent him from talking.

Rapunzel AU!

Cale has been inside of the tower for his entire life. His hair is long, much longer than his brother's. His brother doesn't have a name. Cale knows they're brothers though- because they both have red hair, even if Brother has short hair and Cale does not.

Ever since Cale was 12, he'd been dreaming of a different world. He went to sleep and woke up as someone named Kim Roksu. This Kim Roksu was not in a similar situation as he was- Kim Roksu wandered the streets and ate food from the floor and hid in the small cabinet in his uncle's house. Kim Roksu was weak and strong.

Kim Roksu is a friend to Cale. When Cale wants to see the outside, he sleeps, and he dreams.

Kim Roksu figured out how to communicate with Cale after several years of simple body swapping.

Somehow, they are similar! They both agree that being trash is the best. Kim Roksu because it's easier being a bad person than a good person, and Cale because Brother won't let him be trashy and he wishes he could throw a fit without Brother punishing him.

"Your brother keeps you in a tower?" Roksu asks when he learns.

"Yeah. Is that weird?"

"Well, I don't know anyone who stays in a tower." Cale kicks a rock on the sidewalk with his barefoot, sending it skidding across the dirt road. "Ow, my toe." Roksu complains blandly.

Sharing a body, they also share the same sensations.

"You barely felt that and you know it."

"Shut up."

"You shut up." Cale retorts. He wants to say more, but he swallows those words and tucks them into his chest.

'The bruise over your eye hurts more but you don't complain about that.'

He bites his lip and looks down.

"Do you think," he asks quietly, "if I asked Brother to let me out, he would?"

Roksu, disembodied and floating over his body, frowns. "You haven't asked before?"

Cale smiles bitterly in Roksu's body. "... I did, once." After, Brother said he was going to be leaving for two weeks, and told Cale to ration his food well. Cale knew better than to think it was a coincidence. He didn't have Roksu yet. It was very lonely for a long time.

Roksu doesn't say anything.

"If," his voice trembles, "If I got out. If I left..."

"Cale." Roksu stops him. Cale winces, expecting to be reprimanded.

"You are trash. Trash does whatever they want, no matter what anyone says. If you want to leave, then leave." Roksu's translucent body floats over to stand in front of Cale. Sternly, he says, "Don't worry about useless things. Worry about making a plan and executing it."

Then, abruptly, Roksu turns and ignores him. Cale laughs and folds in half, a childish grin splitting his malnourished cheeks. How can someone be so blunt but so shy? Kim Roksu frowns, but it looks like a pout. Cale rubs away a tear and looks up at the back of his friend. No, the person who sometimes feels more like a brother to him than his real brother.

"And will you help me?"

Roksu rolls his eyes. "Don't ask something so obvious."

Cale smiles and looks down. "Right. Obvious, isn't it?"

Something like receiving help wasn't obvious to either of them. Yet, when it came to the two of them together, it was the most obvious thing in the world. It wasn't obvious with Brother, who he shared blood with. But Kim Roksu, who was abused and beaten down at every turn, chose to welcome a wandering soul into his body and share everything with him.

'You're the one who shouldn't want to be here,' Kim Roksu said when they first started talking and Cale asked why he didn't try to force Cale out. 'When you're in control, I can relax. Why would I want you to leave? That's so difficult.'

They learned that Kim Roksu really could force Cale out when his uncle kicked Cale, sending Kim Roksu's body sprawling onto the floor, then stomped on his arm so hard they heard a clear snap. For Cale it only hurt for a short moment. Roksu threw him out so fast you could imagine that he had practiced beforehand.

Every day and night, Cale slept to try and enter Roksu's body, check on him, share the pain, but Roksu kicked him out every time. It wasn't until four weeks later that Roksu let Cale back in.

Even that much pain was a lot for being four weeks after the incident, but while Cale was struggling to keep his cool, Roksu floated around him and spoke as if nothing was wrong. When Cale started sweating a few hours later Roksu kicked him out again.

'Don't be stubborn,' he said when Cale returned the next night. 'Just say that it hurts. If you still want to stay after you admit that it hurts then I won't kick you out.'

It was a very Kim Roksu thing to do.

"Brother," Cale asks one day at 15, impatiently brushing his hair. He gets scolded lightly, and Brother takes the brush from him. "I read in a book about something called a phone. Do you have one?"

Brother gives him a blank look. Then, as if it had been a lie, his expression changes into something kind and gentle. "Fone? Can you show me the book?"

Cale and Brother roughly root around in every book for anything like the so-called 'Fone,' coming up short.

"Maybe it was a dream," Cale excuses it like that, rubbing his neck. Brother looks at him, worried.

"It must have been. Get some rest, Cale." A kiss to the top of Cale's head, Brother hugs him and promises to bring him more paint. "I'll be gone for a few days this time. Do you want something?"

"Ah," Cale smiles, pressing his face into his Brothers neck to hide his face. "Could you bring me -------?" Brother freezes.

"... you-"

"I learned it from the books! This time I really did, Brother. Please?"

Slowly, Brother releases the tension in his body. "... If that's what you want. But you have to close the window if you're going to mess around with alcohol."

"Yes!" Cale jumps with joy. Then he suddenly runs to a bookshelf, changing the topic by talking about a book Brother brought to him last time. "-and I'd like to know if the sequel is out yet."

"I'll do that." Brother smiles. "You've been asking for more things recently, Cale." Brother settles a hand on his head, stroking his hair.

"It's because of my reliable older brother!" He grabs onto that hand, keeping it there, resembling a naive little brother who only has his role model in his eyes.

He sends his brother down the tower using his hair, and watches that spot of red disappear in the distance.

His face drops.

"... Bastard."

Cale turns on his foot. It's time to see Roksu.

oh! now that you bring up forsy saying he saved the robes for gameday! (can we also talk about how cute his smile is as he says it because he looks so proud of himself that he listened to his captain when he told him to save the virginity of his bathrobes for the game)

it does makes sense why forsy was missing from the pic lundy posted on his stories (not that particularly means much considering ekky aj driedges spence adam jesper swaggy gadjo and kuli are missing) but in the sense that all the boys in the pic have their robes on or have them bundled in their laps sans lundy who takes tourguide duties very seriously! but even then forsy couldn't help but join in because he has them on as an extra layer during lunchtime so the cold mustve gotten to him somehow but to know even then he didn't go into the sauna with it... mmm... your restraint is admirable...

so really knowing all this the timeline gets so funny because this idea has been bouncing around probably since bzito gave them the robes in helsinki (whether that was when they landed oct 29 or the day after oct 30 when lundy played tourguide for them) and maffhew mustve quipped "man it would be so funny if we walked in with em huh?" to sasha and promptly forgot about it because he yaps unconsciously and anything out of his mouth comes out in a fugue state and also in a very "i say shit and i dont really expect to be taken seriously" kind of way, sasha made a personal note of it in the maffhew index he keeps in his head, told the team in a very sasha esque way aka "don't dirty robes too much we're gonna wear them for the game :]" and no one took him particularly seriously because its sasha he always jokes like this haha hes not really gonna- (reminds them day of probably via text) and go oh well i guess its a prank but i'll still wear them because it's sasha (shrugs) i don't mind being the butt of the joke if it's for sasha to which they're delightfully surprised when everyone shows up in robes and it slowly starts to dawn on them none of it was a joke at all

sans forsy who takes everything his captain says very seriously and diligently follows his every word and saved the sanctity of the robes for gameday merely because sasha told him to... which could mean nothing... of course...

Like how you wish their relationship should be portrayed today and where are them missing when it comes to making those two acting like siblings?

Do you think in the past their dynamic was better?

How Dick views Jason and how Jason views Dick?

This is difficult to answer because there are like 8 different stages to Dick and Jason's relationship with various dynamics. They also view each other a bit differently depending on which stage we're talking about.

The way I would like their relationship to be portrayed today isn’t necessarily possible thanks to Jason’s integration into the family and acceptance of the no killing moral code. For me, their ideal dynamic is portrayed in Outsiders #44-46. And I know people are gonna find that regressive as hell but, tbh, that dynamic is far more interesting than the kinda awkward thing they have going on now.

Although, I don't mind that they acknowledge their brotherhood in a serious manner now. Like before they'd kinda be like, "Eh... I mean... we were adopted from the same guy but... brothers? Eh..." And now they're more firmly in the, "We're brothers," camp. So that development is interesting.

Character progression wise, it wouldn't feel right for for them to be super close in the way that, say, Dick and Tim are (unless we saw a lot of trust and relationship building between them), but at the same time, there is part of me that kind of wants them to have that older sibling bond (except Jason is closer in age to Tim than he is to Dick sooo actually let's just leave older sibling things to Dick and Cass... not that Cass is much older than Jason though so LOL this is why Dick has to lone the oldest sibling thing by himself... which is funny because Dick is technically no longer the oldest sibling, he's a baby brother now... except Dick and Melinda's relationship really hasn't progressed much sooo you could say they share blood but don't consider each other family yet, in which case, Dick is still the oldest... I mean, regardless, Dick is the oldest sibling of the Waynes... god why did they have to make all of this so difficult 😫).

one time in melliwyk's campaign we were staying in a luxury inn in a dwarven stronghold partially populated by warforged and built inside a volcano and each room had its own private bath with running water on tap and when I/ melliwyk was like 'hot water? 👀' the DM gave me a scathingly incredulous 'no??' like that was the world's dumbest question

I feel like your approach to criticizing a certain fandom was the wrong way of doing it. Don't get me wrong, you are a hundred percent right about the lack of representation for certain characters. But you had to have known that you would've gotten backlash for insinuating that the only reason that content is being made is because people are... misogynistic? The characters are well-written; that's why they get attention. The women are also well-written, you're right! But instead of getting mad at the people who enjoy specific characters, you could contribute to what you want to see in the fandom. Make fanfiction, make art, talk about your favorite ships, talk about your favorite characters, talk about the head-canons you have for them, connect with other fans of those characters, make AUs with them, make the fandom you want to see! But I don't know what you were expecting when you come out and say in the tags "you must be misogynists for liking these characters and you must be awful people for playing around with AUs" even though every fandom on this website does that. That was hostile and was only going to get a hostile response in return especially when you specifically put it in the tags for fans of those characters to see. Because it reads as you insinuating that fans of these characters existing is why you don't get any representation of your favorite characters. Or, alternatively, that everyone only likes certain characters because they're misogynists who hate women characters. People make content of them because they like them and because they want to make content of them.

Want more content of the things you want to see? Pay or support the artists and writers who make that content or start making it yourself. Its not helpful to complain that some characters get more attention than others but then make no attempt to contribute to it in any meaningful way. You cannot just get mad at people for liking characters and expect the fandom to magically decide its going to give you the content you want.

This is a long-winded way of saying you are correct in that the fandom seems to hyper-focus on some characters over others. But the way you approached that discussion was combative, hostile, and unhelpful, and you're not going to motivate a community into making content by being passive-aggressive to the people making the content they want to make. Be the change you want to see in the fandom, or support the artists and writers who make the content you want to see.

Its like... You can't complain your garden isn't growing if you're not watering it and not adding seeds, and instead are blaming everyone else for having plants in their gardens that you don't like.

anon i dont know how to tell you this but if you felt the need to write a five-paragraph essay talking about how i need to be nicer to other people when i am pointing out misogyny in a fandom space then, well... actually, i dont know what to tell you other than the fact that i was trying to be aggressive and im not going to be civil about misogyny. my post wasn't made in the hopes of getting people to make more content of the women in borderlands because that would never in ten fucking million years work. it was not a constructive post. you are assuming i have some sort of goodwill about this and i don't. i wanted to be an asshole because, surprise, i am an asshole. funny how that works.
