“Lena?”
“What are you doing here?” Lena said, on the other side of the phone line.
Kara was already moving, lunging for the window, shedding her civilian clothes so fast she blurred into a streak of red and blue, the phone still mid-fall from where her hand had held it to her ear to the osprey cushion. She wasn’t thinking when she rattled windows with her passage. Less than a second later, the air snapped taught around her and burst with the cracking fury of a sonic boom as she bolted across the city in a ballistic arc that took her from her apartment to the upper floor penthouse office at L-Corp.
She was still too slow.
Lena was calling her name, her own phone flying from her hand into space as two men manhandled her over the railing into open air, almost six hundred feet up. Kara watched it happen in agonizing, hateful detail. She could hear every thudding panicked contraction of Lena’s heart even as she could count ever stitch in the side-seam of her dress.
Faster. Faster faster faster faster.
Any faster and she’d ignite the atmosphere around here.
Lena was perpetually falling, reaching up in a futile attempt to grasp the sky. Those thumping heartbeats came slow to Kara’s ears as she focused herself, time around her slowing to match her speed.
She has to do this perfectly. Hit Lena too fast and she’d kill her. Lena’s screamed stretched into a shrill endless peel as she fell, raw terror contorting her features.
Kara dove, slowing as she reached those last few millimeters of distance, forcing herself to match Lena’s speed, dipping under her so that the bewildered woman dropped into her arms and they further slowed together, Kara coming to a stop midair, half way down the length of her fall. Kara bundled Lena into her arms even as Lena clutched her in desperate fear, grasping and clutching at her in desperate fear. A wail of agonized terror exploded from Lena’s lips against Kara’s throat, followed by a taut cry of anguished relief.
“I have you,” Lena murmured. “You’re okay, I have you.”
Lena was shaking.
“They th-threw me off the balcony!”
They.
They.
Kara rose, cradling a treasure in her arms. They should have known better, these two thugs, these goons. To show her contempt, she blew them off their feet with a gust of air from her lungs. Tenderly, she placed Lena on her bare feet -her shoes had gone flying when she was tossed- and turned to her attackers.
One pulled a gun, the other ran. She crushed the crude little human weapon, so infuriatingly primitive and barbaric, almost forgetting not to pulp the wielder’s hand. As the other ran, she hooked her fingers in his collar and yanked, pulling him right back and over the railing. His scream satisfied something hateful within her and she wanted to stop herself from seizing his ankle, but she didn’t. The weight of the crest on her chest was too much to bear it.
She did let him dangle though, begging her for mercy.
Kara jabbed the comms in her ear and barked orders to the DEO agent that answered her. It wasn’t ten minutes later that half a dozen agents, led by Alex herself, were dragging the two men out of Lena’a office.
Lena herself was standing on the balcony still, shivering in the late night chill. Kara pointedly ignore the way Alex stared at them both as Kara unclasped her cape from her shoulders and threw the heavy cloth around Lena, bundling her up in it.
Oh Rao, her poor feet on the concrete.
Kara didn’t think. She picked Lena up again and carried her inside. Lena didn’t protest or even speak, as delicate as a precious baby bird in Kara’s arms.
“We can… we can deal with statements later,” said Alex. “I’ll step out.”
They were alone.
Lena just stared for a moment, as Kara opened the drawer in the coffee table and took out the fleece blanket that Lena kept there for naps or those frequent nights when she just didn’t go home, unable or unwilling to abandon her work for such pedestrian things as sleep, or her own health. Kara spread it across her, covering her feet. She just didn’t want her to be cold.
Kneeling beside the couch, Kara stroked a loose lock of wind-ruffled hair back from Lena’s eyes, forgetting herself, forgetting that she was the Super and not the Girl, right now. She couldn’t help it. The Super was stoic, unruffled, full of bravado. The Girl wanted to fucking cry and scream in agony and blessed release.
She was okay. Kara made it. Lena was okay.
Lena was staring at her.
“How did you know I was in trouble?”
The way she said it, it almost wasn’t a question. It sounded flat, half an accusation.
“I was with Kara Danvers,” Kara was about to say, but the answer died on her lips, the lie too bitter to cross her tongue.
She was so sick of lying, and the reasons why she lied all seemed so… hollow, here, now, and Lena wasn’t stupid. It was halfway there, Kara realized. She could see it in Lena’s bewildered, quivering expression. The thought was there, half formed, and once the suspicion was formed, it was only a matter of time. Their friendship was built on pillars of sand and the tide was rolling in right now.
“It’s me, Lena,” Kara whispered.
Lena’s eyes widened, as her nostrils briefly flared. Lena did not ask her to clarify, or explain. Her penetrating gaze merely searched, drinking in the details of Kara’s face in a way that made her feel both seen in a warm and comforting way and horribly exposed, the chill wind from the balcony door at her back. Yet the gaze was open, permissive. Kara noticed that one of her eyes was a little more blue than the other.
Rao, Lena was so pretty. She was beautiful, yes, in the austere almost untouchable way of a young powerful woman who weaponizes her looks, but that part of her was gone now, replaced by something open and vulnerable and soft, and usually reserved for Kara, not Supergirl.
Kara sat down in front of her, crossing her legs. She wanted to reach out and sooth the trembling she saw, her hand twitching of its own accord. Lena pulled the red fabric of her cape up and tucked it under her chin, making herself small.
“It’s you.”
“Yeah.”
“You caught me.”
“I always will.”
Lena closed her eyes. “I’m tired of falling. God I’m so tired of it, I just want him to leave me alone.”
Anger flashes in Kara’s chest, sending a jolt of heat up her spine as the red-sun fire burned within her, begging for release. She kept her eyes tightly shut.
A soft cry opened them again. Lena was crying silently in the manner of one used to hiding it, her chest hitching as she held it back.
“If it weren’t for you I’d be dead, Kara.”
“I won’t let that happen.”
Something tightened inside her, clutching so hard she could barely breathe. Watching Lena fall had been like… like looking over her shoulder and seeing the green flash. Kara had pinched her eyes shut and turned away, not watching the blast, screaming in agony when the blast wave tossed her pod, too afraid to watch her world die, unable to escape it. Sometimes that feeling would wash over her and tear her from the embrace of a dreamless sleep and she’d scream.
A soft, cool hand brushed her cheek. Lena reached out from the blanket and pushed away the errant tear. Kara couldn’t help herself, and returned the gesture. Lena’s skin was so delightfully soft, and whenever Kara touched her, felt her, it gave air to something like hot coals in her belly, and they’d threaten to become an unbound flame.
Something was happening here and she wasn’t sure what it was, but it was important. Kara had a sudden sense that this moment was a real one, an important one, and that she had just started bumbling through a choice that needed her full attention.
Lena was watching her, her soft intelligent eyes darting. Her breathing had calmed but she was agitated, heartbeat too fast, heat bloom crawling across her skin as her face flushed. A deep, powerful part of Kara woke up at the sight of it, something that she would normally have disdained had she remained on Krypton, a part of her that she might even have hated.
Her hand was still resting gently on Lena’s cheek. Lena met her gaze and shifted slightly, pressing a touch harder against Kara’s palm. It was an acknowledgement. It felt permissive, inviting. Lena tilted her expressions slightly and looked at Kara through her lashes.
She was scared, Kara realized. Scared but perhaps hopeful. Things began to swirl in her head. She could drown in the heady scent of an office full of flowers.
“You just keep saving me,” Lena said.
Kara rose to her knees so she could lean in, arching over her. This need, this impulse, gripped it like a firm hand on the back of her neck. It felt so wrong, so human, so Terran, but she didn’t care. For the first time she felt like doing this because she wanted it, not to make herself feel human or soothe some itch.
She hesitated every moment but Lena’s gaze remained fixed, a faint smile curling her lips as Kara drew closer, sliding an arm under her shoulders, very carefully pulling her up.
“I thought you were hopeless after the thing with the flowers,” Lena whispered. “Or maybe just regrettably straight.”
Kara wanted this to be right. She nuzzled her nose against Lena’s, one last tiny little request, and murmured, “is this okay?”
In response, Lena closed the gap and their lips met. Kara hadn’t felt like this since the first time she stepped off the ground into the open air. This was better than flying. Lena’s kiss was just so her, at once brash and hesitant, a question phrased as a declaration.
Before long Kara was holding her.
“I won’t let anyone hurt you. I won’t.”
Lena released herself; there was no other way to describe it. It was like their past hugs but more, Lena embracing Kara as though she’d like to be absorbed by her.
“I know.”
In the morning she’d pay Lex a visit. She’d talk to Alex and J’onn, make it clear that if the DEO wanted a Kryptonian on speed dial, it was time to make her priorities their priorities, and the first thing she was going to do was tear Cadmus out of their hiding places by the root.
It wouldn’t be enough to just hobble their operations, she wanted them gone. Supergirl would work in tandem with the Kara Danvers until Lex Luthor had no friends, no allies, no resources. Even the prison guard who smuggled him his caviar would learn that any largesse towards his prisoner would summon a furious Kryptonian.
She would call in every favor, seek every ally, use every resource.
Right now none of that mattered. Lena was safe, and she was in Kara’s arms.

Headcanon that Kara agonizes a little bit when her identity reveal is broadcasted, and though she requested to be alone the night it airs, Lena tentatively shows up and is like "I thought you might be worrying, so I brought you flowers."
Except she's standing in Kara's doorway with nary a bouquet in sight.
When Kara's brow crinkles in confusion, Lena cups her hands, and with a whisper of a spell, a flower grows from her palms. When she offers it to Kara, Kara doesn't expect it to have a tangible form, given that it's borne of magic.
But soft petals settle in her hand, precious and beautiful. And just like that, Kara's anxiety bleeds away and a warmth spreads over her instead.
"It's beautiful," she murmurs, touched. It's not just magic, after all-- it's a piece of Lena herself. "Thank you."
She pulls Lena into a one armed hug, careful not to crush the bloom between them.
"I'm glad you're here."

I am delighted to report that despite her having no interest whatsoever in superhero shows and never having actually watched Supergirl, I have managed to get my wife hooked on Supercorp to the extent that she is now reblogging incorrect quotes and quite possibly reading more fanfiction about them than I am.
#supercorp#supergirl#there is no resisting the pull of Lena and Kara being soft for each other#Love is drawing your partner inexorably into your fandom by talking about it so obsessively they get invested against their will#She also leaves the absolute best Ao3 comments ever#so honestly the fandom is lucky to have her

“Lena, you’re coming with us.”
She looked up sharply as Alex stormed into her office, followed by a dozen DEO goons and a flustered, apologetic Jess as she flipped rapidly between apologizing to Lena for permitting the intrusion and shouting at Alex to get out, only to be ignored.
“Jess, it’s fine,” Lena said, calmly, though her heart was racing. “I’ll hear what they have to say.”
“Cover the entrances,” Alex told her men.
Even when balaclavas over their faces and goggles, Lena could sense their unease. The one who was unmasked -Lena vaguely remembered she was named Vazquez- gave Alex a plaintive, pained look before stepping out. The doors hissed shut behind them, and Alex was alone with her.
“We don’t have time for you to be argumentative.”
“What horrific crime did I commit this time?
“I’m not accusing you of anything. I’m taking you into protective custody.”
Lena put down her phone.
“What?”
Alex produced a tablet from the bag on her thigh and stormed over, hitting play on a video.
It was Lex. Lena’s stomach dropped.
“Hello, Director Danvers,” said Lex. “I hope this message finds you well, because none of you are going to be well much longer.”
A thought hit Lena like a freight train: If I’m in danger, where’s Kara? Even now Kara would drop everything, risk everything, to keep her from harm.
Lex opened a velvet box and drew out a small device. Lena recognized it and felt her gorge rising. It was another disperser, but something was wrong. The crystal within glowed a deep, scintillating red, like a hot coal drawn from a fire.
“Remember this?” said Lex. “You and the rest of this world are about to learn what happens when you trust an alien.”
“What the fuck?” Lena blurted. “He can’t be alive.”
Alex shook her head.
Lex slammed his fist down, and Alex turned it off.
“Well worry about your brother later. He spread red kryptonite into the atmosphere. We can’t find Kara and she’s not responding to our hails. We have to take anyone she might come after into secure custody where she can’t sense you and we have to go now.”
“But…”
“This shit drives her insane,” Alex snapped, seizing Lena’s shoulders. “The last time she was exposed she threw Cat Grant off a building. She almost killed me. ME, Lena.”
A cold flush ran down her limbs, as if she’d been thrown into the cold sea, and panic surged from deep down inside. The last time Lena had seen Kara it had been through Kryptonite-frosted crystal before she abandoned her in the fortress of solitude.
“Part of me wants to leave you here and let you get what you deserve,” Alex said, coldly, “but we are going to fix her and when we do she’d never forgive me for letting you get hurt. Even now she won’t let go of her feelings for you. She keeps talking about saving you.”
Lena swallowed hard. “Her what?”
“Lena, get up. For once in your life just cooperate and do what you’re fucking told before…”
Boot heels thudded on the balcony and dread could tight in Lena’s gut. It was a futile gesture but she stood anyway as Alex stepped between them.
The door was locked, but Kara didn’t care. She threw the door open, sending the lock mechanism flying across the room and cracking the bomb-proof glass on the process. Alex pulled her alien pistol and aimed it at Kara’s head.
“Don’t make me hurt you, Kara. I won’t let you do something you regret.”
Kara stared at her with bloodshot eyes, the ocean blue irises turned a bruise purple as red flashes danced across the whites, like the setting sun chasing across frosted snow. She moved with a languid, inhuman grace, at once casual and as menacing as a predator stalking prey that had no means of escape.
“Hello, Lena.”
“Kara,” Alex warned. “I know you’re in there. Come back with me.”
Kara ignored her, sweeping her aside with an outstretched arm. Alex went flying, crashing into the doors with a grunt, rolling to the ground unmoving.
“Kara,” Lena said calmly, backing away. “You hurt Alex.”
“I know.”
“Why are you doing this?”
Kara smiled at her, but there was none of her usual joy, her usual mirth, only a cold, vicious baring of teeth. Lena thumped against her bookcase and a model of the HMS victory that Lex gave her after he finished it toppled from the self.
Kara caught it and returned it to its place. She thrust her hands out, bracketing Lena as she leaned in, trapping her. Lena’s heart was pounding.
“You’re scared,” Kara said, “I can taste it in your pheromones. Did you know I can do that? I can sense your skin’s electrical impedance and see the heat bloom in your flesh and hear your heartbeat. If I focus very very hard I can hear brainwaves.”
“I didn’t know that,” Lena said, shocked at the smooth calm in her own voice.
“I knew it was a lie the whole time. I knew it was a lie from the night at the Pullitzer gala, when you really started loathing me.”
“Then why did you-“
“I didn’t want it to be a lie!” Kara snapped, jolting Lena as she pressed into the bookcase. “I wanted it to be real. I wanted finally be free of the pain of hiding myself from you.”
Behind them, Alex groaned as she sat up, staring at them with a thin trickle of blood running from her nose.
“Kara,” Lena said, very softly. “I can see that you’re sick . Let me help you. I can purge the red Kryptonite from your system in my lab.”
“Why would I want to purge it?”
“You hurt Alex. You love Alex.”
“Do I?”
“Yes,” said Lena. “You’re good, Kara. You’re so good. You’re the kindest, most merciful-“
“I’m tired of being kind!” Kara shouted, stinging her ears. “I’m tired of being nice. I’m tired of taking bullets for people! Just because they don’t inure me doesn’t mean they don’t hurt!”
“I didn’t know that either,” Lena whispered. “I thought…”
“You thought nothing hurts me,” Kara said, leaning in close, so close her breath tickled Lena’s lips. “But you hurt me. You hurt more than anything. More than your brother, more than Reign, more than the clone. Dying don’t hurt as much as you hurt me.”
Lena spared Alex a glance. She was lying against the doors, holding her belly. She met Lena’s gaze levelly and Lena knew in an instant the danger she was in and the terrible truth.
She was the only one who could stop Kara.
“I know,” said Lena. “I know I did and it felt good when I was doing it.”
“Lena!” Alex gasped, “are you fucking crazy?”
“It felt good,” Lena said, trying to force the trembling out of her voice and failing. “It felt so good to lash out. I wanted to hurt someone. I want to hurt everyone. I wanted everyone to feel what I’m feeling. Especially you. I bet it felt a lot like what you’re feeling now.”
Kara’s eyes were wild with fury, moments from kindling the red-sun fire that would wipe Lena from existence.
“I never stopped believing in you,” said Kara. “I’m the only reason you’re not in a cell beneath a secret desert compound. All this time I’ve defended you and believed in you and protected you.”
“All this time?” Lena snapped back, fury kindling behind the terror, chasing it back as a fire’s light chases the dark.
She was Lena Luthor. She wasn’t going to die afraid.
“You mean all this time when you accused me of conspiring against you? When you suddenly turned cold to me after telling me how you believed in me? When you made my boyfriend spy on me and destroyed my relationship?”
Lena’s hands released the shelves she’d been strangling in twin death grips.
“I… I…”
“How was I supposed to react to learning that you were both people? After what you did? You should punish me, Kara. I’m a murderer.”
Alex gasped, eyes darting from Kara to Lena.
“I killed my brother for you,” Lena said, very softly. “I killed him because I had to. Because you never would. I’m not a hero like you. I’d do it again. I’d do it all again for you. Now I find out he’s still alive. I may have to. I will. I’ll make sure he’s dead this time!”
Kara blinked, her eyes steaming from the heat inside her as tears ran down her cheeks.
“It hurts,” Kara whispered. “It hurts seeing the truth. It hurts to know what I did.”
“I know how much it hurts,” Lean said, bringing her hands to cup Kara’s face lightly. She was shaking, feverish, her skin almost uncomfortably hot. Lena felt a touch of rising panic and forced it down.
“It hurts knowing that I broke up you and James on purpose. It hurts knowing why. It hurts that even now I can’t say it, I’m too scared.”
“I’m supposed to want you and not him,” Lena said.
Kara jerked back slightly, her eyes going wide. It was an admission without words, a confession to a crime she’d already admitted. She pressed her eyes shut and the tears flowed anyway.
“I’m sorry.”
“I know,” said Lena. “It hurts, doesn’t it? The anger.”
“Yes,” said Kara. “It burns. It’s burning me up. I can feel it in my chest, like it’s turning my ribs to cinders.”
Lena nodded. “I came back for you.”
“What?”
“I came back for you. I went back to the Fortress. I was as going to let you out, accept the consequences of what I’d done, but Alex must have already found you.”
“She did.”
“She always takes care of you, doesn’t she?”
Kara blinked. “Yes.”
“It hurt the most then,” said Lena, “knowing that I’d made my choice and I couldn’t take it back. I planned it all for months. I lost myself in how good it would feel to make you suffer like I’m suffering. Then when I did it there was nothing. No joy. No catharsis. I just felt hollow.”
Lena sighed. “I fucked up. I ruined my life.”
She flinched as Kara’s too-warm hand brushed her cheek, her thumb grazing lightly over her chin.
“I would forgive you any trespass. I would never hurt you,” she said, even as she trembled with rage.
“I know,” said Lena.
“Part of me wants to.”
“I know. Kara, let me help you. Please. You’re sick.”
Kara looked at her and Lena wondered what was going through her head. Did she think it was all a manipulation, a ploy? Would she lose it and snap Lena’s neck, or whip her head with a burst of heat vision and burn them all?
“Okay,” Kara breathed.
Lena reached over and pulled the book on her shelf that opened with direct elevator to her private lab. It was a touch melodramatic, but hell, it was he office.
She gave Alex a glance, waiting for the nod before she stepped inside with Lena.
They rode down in silence. Kara fell back on Lena’s exam table and closed her eyes as Lena placed the device on Kara’s chest. The House of El rune on the machine glowed as it recalibrated itself and began purging the radiation from her system.
Lena knew it was working when Kara began to weep, her face twisting in a grimace of towering grief. When it was done, Lena carefully removed the device and brushed loose strands of hair from Kara’s eyes and gently wrapped her arms around her. Kara buried her face in Lena’s neck and sobbed, shaking the table with the fury of her sorrow.
“I didn’t mean it,” she whimpered.
“I know,” Lena whispered, smoothing a hand over her head. “I know.”
“Is Alex…”
“She’ll be fine, her people have already taken her to the L-Corp infirmary. She’s fine.”
Kara’s voice was almost childlike. “Did I hurt you?”
Lena closed her eyes. “Yeah. You hurt me. It’s okay, darling. It’s going to be okay.”
Kara’s arms looped around her, tentatively. When Lena didn’t push her back, Kara relaxed into the hug.
“I’m sorry, Lena. I’m so fucking sorry.”
“Shhh, I know. I know. I’m sorry too. I forgive you.”
“You can’t,” Kara whimpered. “You can’t just do that.”
“Yes I can. I’m so rich I can do whatever I want. Here.”
Without letting Kara go, she reached over and took Myriad, placing it in Kara’s hands.
“It’s going to be okay,” Lena whispered, as Kara hugged her tighter.

thinking again about how byan experiences very intense emotions and has an incredibly hard time controlling them. admittedly, a lot of it does come out as anger because they're also painfully self-conscious about expressing any emotions other than anger too visibly (yes, this includes happiness), but... honestly? they cry a lot more than you'd expect. if something hits them hard enough and they start tearing up... there's nothing they can do to stop those tears from falling. do they hate this? yes, absolutely despise it. does it sometimes result in them getting violent to counteract the weakness they view crying to be? you bet it does.
#they'll literally lash out if they start feeling too happy bc it makes them feel so exposed......#esp when they can't contain that happiness so they're just BEAMING all over the place#this goes for every emotion really but i think the happiness one is simultaneously the funniest & saddest asjkdhsf#but yeah lowkey they're kind of a crybaby#KIND OF. they don't cry at the drop of a hat but they do cry when any sort of emotion gets overwhelming. if that makes sense.#they hate it sm it's one of their deepest held secrets#but u see it happen a lot in my replies to spacy & moon bc lena & sol are so good at hitting them in those soft spots#& making them real emotional (in a positive way ofc bc it's usually tied to them feeling cared about)#...this is probably disjointed af bc my thoughts are everywhere but boy am i thinking about this tonight hoo man#━━ ˟ ⊰ ✰ ooc ⋮ don't @ me.

you wanted horny anons, here's one: got any thoughts about a bodybuilder!kara (no powers) and a lena who reeeeaally likes those big strong muscles? and maybe loses it a little when kara wears a sleeveless shirt around her? (if you don't feel comfortable posting horny content/don't want to respond to this, no worries, and have a nice day!!)
you’re perfectly fine anon, i assume every single one of you is horny unless otherwise specified on account of the kind of things i tend to write and draw HOWEVER—and i’ll admit it’s 100% my own fault that we’re here because i have definitely written lena thirsting after kara’s physique—as a writer i feel kara’s muscles are actually the least interesting thing about her? so i’m afraid writing anything more than my usual passing references to this dynamic wouldn’t likely be very enjoyable for me or ring very true to you!
#i share neither lena’s intellect nor her predilections!#like. i love female masculinity and gender non-conformity#i love sharp jaws and slow smiles and bodies inhabited comfortably rather than ‘prettily’#and all bodies are good bodies#but i’m WEAK for softness and curves and that enthralling bit of squish#so frankly i hold back a bit when writing kara’s observations of lena’s body#while probably overcompensating with lena’s attraction to kara’s hahaha!#thank you for the ask!#i’m sorry you didn’t get what you were hoping for!#ask me things!#anonymous

“ I will protect you. ” - I'd never lie to you I'd kill yiling patriarch again for you🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 so this is from mr righteous xxc
there were way too many metaphors to be mentioned about this . a lamb offering the wolf security , a man with his head inside a lion's mouth and whispering he'll protect the lion while his neck bleeds . xue yang can't settle for any , he chooses to create something worse than a hostile lion in his head and simply , call it xue yang . he wants to laugh at xingchen until his lungs ache , wants to break his pretty jaw , and all he can do it sit behind the campfire and stare at xingchen's sickly sweet smile like he's been punched in the gut .
it seems to him , the pale cultivator had found the strategy with which he could defeat something terrible like a lion . he seems to have come to conclusion that tenderness was a greater weapon than his sword , and it was — it leaves xue yang speechless .
he mentioned a man from his past just once during the dinner , because the brat was whining about a guy who got touchy with her and she had to run before taking all his money . ‘ you're nothing special , brat , we all went through that . so shut up and eat your rabbit meat . ‘ and if a-qing is really blind , she couldn't aim for his wounded knee that precisely and hit him so hard . his knee still throbbed , xingchen hasn't let go of the little story he told to scare a-qing . whether it was the truth or him bragging about his clever ways of getting rid of touchy men , it didn't matter , what mattered was that it horrified the kid . he didn't want to worry xingchen , he genuinely didn't . ❛ . . . daozhang . you always remember everything . ah . ❜ with an annoyed huff and roll of his eyes , xue yang leaned back against the board . toying with the stick he used to eat his meat with , and keeping his gaze low even though xingchen wasn't able to see how ashamed he was . ❛ i don't need protection . i need your piece of meat . i need energy to get better yeah ? are you going to let me starve to death ? huh , daozhang ? give me your food , i will tell you a better story if you do . ❜ while he rambles , he's crawling closer to the older man . sitting beside him on the step , nudging his thinner arm with his , a little harshly to make him sway . playfulness swimming in dark eyes , eagerly smirking , waiting for xingchen's kindness again . ❛ do you like snakes ? hm ? i'm going to tell you a story about snakes . ❜
#mythvoiced#int.#wow lena u weren't joking fr ...#YOU WEREN'T !!!!!!#he's so mean he's like pfft u made me feel soft so i'm going to take ur dinner fuck u#jk he won't. it just amuses him that xingchen actually WILL give him his dinner ...#aqing is sleeping probably i don't want her to witness how soft this gremlin can get#god forbid the kid might grow fond of this bastard
