Vinzent the Wolf

Vinzent can be best compared to being a Mobian version of a gray wolf, in terms of his species. With black-ish gray hair and fur, and stormy grey eyes, he’d be difficult to spot during a rainstorm, if not for the pirate attire he wears at all times.

As an ex-Naval Captain from an old and distant kingdom, now forgotten in the modern day, Vinzent had turned to piracy, privateering, and the plundering of ships specifically from that kingdom after they had abandoned him and his crew at sea. Calling themselves the Sea Wolves, their new work kept him and his men happy, for the most part, but they were missing something. Solid land to call home, whenever they couldn’t sustain themselves on the sea for much longer. Eventually, they would land upon the Jewel Archipelago. 

However, he did not dock the ship outright, and instead had his men lower a rowboat for himself to row to shore. If the inhabitants would prove to be hostile towards them, he would rather risk only one man, and have the rest sail off, rather than allow for a fully fledged battle to occur between them. Thankfully, his worries proved to be pointless, and so they were able to safely landshore. Thus began the original alliance between the Sea Wolves and the inhabitants of the Jewel Archipelago, with the Sea Wolves becoming the new defending force for the islands. Meanwhile, the islands would provide to the Sea Wolves for food and shelter, at their own discretion. After all, Vinzent would not have his men forcing their way into the homes of others who couldn’t defend themselves.

Vinzent, being the leader of the Sea Wolves, was the one to represent his men in the alliance between them, the Archipelago, and the Knuckles tribe. Being the sort of inventor of the trio, now that a little less of his time would have to be spent on actively defending the islands, Vinzent spent most of the time discovering new methods for creating different mechanisms and other such things.

However, it wasn’t fated to last forever, and Vinzent would end up sailing to what is believed to be his final voyage. A large sea monster had been rumored to be heading directly for the Archipelago, rampaging through the seas and devastating various settlements along the way. When news of this had reached Vinzent, he took up arms with his men, and sailed away to attempt to either repel or kill the sea monster. However, Vinzent’s ship and men never returned, leading much of the islands to believe that he’d perished that night.

And yet, something stirs deep beneath the seas, as something dwells in a city thought to be long lost despite its advanced technology. And lost souls wander its halls still to this day.

Annette Monet the Arctic Fox

Annette is a pure-blooded Arctic fox. While primarily grey, she has white accents on her ears, stomach, tail tip, and limbs. Her hair is shinier than the rest of her fur, yet a similar shade of grey. The fox has a bright white muzzle, which blends into the grey face fur. Her eyes are a shade of silver, matching the rest of her body.

She has the capability to be able to understand and use magic to varying degrees. While she mainly focuses on curses, she is able to do other things such as allow others to breathe underwater for a time, form barriers, and mess with the 'strings' of fate. For the time period, she would be considered the strongest mage to exist, even if few even knew the concept, due to the raw amount of magical capability she possessed.

She had been the founder of the Jewel Archipelago. Having found the islands of her own accord, she had noted the unique energy that the area within the ocean emitted. Finding herself curious, she stuck around herself until fellow Mobians washed ashore. As she wasn't cruel, she assisted the people in being able to make new lives on the islands if they so wished it but she also stated that it might take time to be able to get anyone back home. Over time, more wrecks occurred, leading to more people living on the Archipelago. Eventually, it had grown into its own civilization, with Annette holding the mantle and leading them into a prosperous life, even with the difficulty of being able to reach any other land.

Annette was also the one who assisted with the alliance between the islands, Angel Island, and the Sea Wolves. The three groups together formed a pact to always protect one another, and she did her upmost to keep to this pact.

Unfortunately, one day, negative rumors and thoughts started to spread throughout the Archipelago, marking her as a witch who used the residents for her own personal gain. This caused the people to rebel against her, putting her at the stake and attempting to burn her alive for her 'sins'. However, her magic activated itself, teleporting her to a different location and putting her into a state of sleep to be able to recover from the injuries she had endured.

Many, many years later, she awakens. What seems to be a whole new world is before her, yet she has to wonder for herself. . . Was she not able to complete her part of the pact? Has the world. . . Already been lost?

Kira comes from the Japanese romanization for "killer," it isn't gendered whatsoever.

Also, evidence shows the majority of serial killers are male, so I'd argue that the statistics favor the fujoshis here.
