I don't now if there's any other person having the headcanon that Legend can't swim? I mean... if I'm not mistaking he needs items to swim in every games (like fins). Just imagine the vet of hero's business being unable to swim without his fins. That's so funny. Whenever the Chain want to cross a river by swimming he's just like "Wait a sec, I need my fins" (but ofc he'll never tell them that he can't swim). His worst enemi is water rip.

Oooh I haven't read that hc to be honest, when it comes to swimming hcs the only one I've seen around is the one that hyrule can't swim 🤔

Cause apparently he has magic boots that let him walk on water???? And also the water in his era is poisonous???? So hyrule not being a swimmer is something that pops up a lot lol

I've also seen headcanons of wind being a crappy swimmer cause of his poor swimming stamina in wind waker (versus like twilight who never tires ever while swimming in twilight princess lmao u can just swim all of lake hylia no problem)

Which like adding the "legend can't swim" headcanon is hilarious cause that would mean the two links with sailing experience (legend and wind) suck ass at swimming like the irony lol

So, I saw an ask about the RO's height. Now I wonder, is height something we get to customize for the MC? If so, can our MC be as tall, or taller, than Mal?

I'm also curious about what do you mean with the form humans see and the true form. I understand it may be a spoiler, so feel free to just say what you feel comfortable sharing. But what I understand is that the former is basically how MC looks as a human. And the latter is their true form as a deity, right? Well, does the true form involve an animal? I would guess so, given how Mal is associated to one (unless I got that wrong). However, unless I'm being stupid, this IF takes inspiration from Egyptian mythology. And not all Gods there have animal features, even if many do. So, I would assume MC's true form can have, but is not restricted to, animalistic features.

But if we get to choose from certain animals, which do you have in mind? If you can share them?

And, following from the height question, do the two forms have a different height? And, if so, are both customizable or is one of them fixed?

good morning! so many good questions here, wow.

let's start with the heights. there's a point where you can choose the mc's human height but it's super basic (short, average, tall) at least for now. mal will always be a behemoth, and mc can get close but not quite. maybe around 6'4" at best?

question number two!

the only mortals who can see mc are those with tharset blood or have sekhemnetu ancestors (which isn't possible since they were all, uh, annihilated), and mc has been locked into this human form for their convenience.

their full divine form is a big honking snake with golden scales (inspo here, here, and here), and if they weren't severed from that, they could take any form in-between too. maluset for example can be in his jackal form which is just the size of a normal canid if not a bit bigger, or in the primal one, whose head alone could be as big as the great pyramid of giza if he so decided. the in-between is the head of the animal but a human body. mc was able to do the same, but now? not so much.

most of the deities have animal motifs, that's true! from this roster, only antepmat, tuthetis, and mehentep are the ones without an animal connection (aldumat is on the border since he's technically just either a plume of smoke, a massive swarm of black butterflies, or a headless man).

so there won't be a choice for the animal that mc is represented by, but they also have lotus blossoms associated with them :)

the height of the primal form will be fixed since i can't exactly pinpoint a proper measurement for 'huuuuge' lol. the in-between is usually the same height as a human form. it's convoluted lore i need to write into a more eloquent explanation but tbh i woke up for work and had a vibe to answer this question so my brain is not completely online yet.

Safest with You - Disney Inspired Epilogue Art

Even though the Safest with You Epilogue was only posted this past weekend, I actually commissioned this 101 Dalmatians inspired art from @dazzlingjedi back in July 🤭🤭 (Future Emily, never say you don’t plan your series out in advance 😂😂)

I asked Evelyn to please reference the classic Disney animation film and I think she knocked it out of the park 🥹🥹🐕‍🦺🐕🥰 If you ever have a chance to work with Eve, I whole heartedly recommend it! Extras compilation for anime only viewers

I decided to make a compilation of all extra comics and material that is safe to read and here is the first part of that. “By safe to read” I mean stuff that don’t have spoiler or is not too closely connected to stuff that will be shown in Season 2. That means most of it are more fun stuff featuring the characters, backstory for some minor character and small expansions on the backstories that already featured in season 1. Most of it was published after chapter 52 (season 1’s stopping point), but I made sure to check none of it is spoiler despite that.

There it is, all non spoiler extra material about the main characters I could find. Well, the ones with some narrative content, Kui makes too many random illustration for me to shuffle through, at least for now. Hopefully I didn’t miss anything. I hope it is interesting or useful for someone. Next it should be the other characters, hopefully it will be a bit easier.

10 Years, Every Day! - 240405

As of today, it has been exactly 10 years since I started creating and sharing a 3D animated GIF artwork every single day!

I originally began learning 3D and making GIFs after being inspired by many of the digital artists I had started to find on Tumblr back in 2013. When I decided to start making a GIF every day in April 2014, with very little prior art experience, I never could have imagined that I would still be here doing it 10 years later.

I'm incredibly grateful for everyone who has stuck around and supported my work in any way over the last decade. Likewise, I also have to thank everyone I've had the chance to work or collaborate with over the duration of this project! This has been a huge learning experience, and I am very proud of how far things have come.

To the best of my knowledge, I am the first artist to complete 10 years of daily GIFs, but I have to give major props to the other artists that I know of who paved the way and passed this milestone before me in their respective mediums: @songadaymann / @catswilleatyou / @beeple / @graebor / @rawandrendered

With that being said, after a lot of contemplation, I have decided that today will mark the completion of my daily GIF project. I have no plans to stop creating and sharing my art, but after 10 years of pushing to have an animation done every single day, it's time for a change of pace.

There are still so many things I want to learn, and now feels like the right time to give myself the room to explore and give it a try.

Thank you again for the support. I'm excited to see what the future holds.
