Hello! M here seeking F partner for slow-burn, story-based, plot-heavy, sweet but dramatic, romantic roleplays, with a healthy dash of spice when the time is right. As a result, all partners must be of legal age.

As a warning, I'm pretty vanilla, so if you're looking for a partner to engage your wild kinks, I'm probably not your guy. This is not to say I don't have kinks – I do – but even those kinks, I prefer to arise in the course of a sweet romantic story. You can, of course, ask if I'm interested in yours as long as you don't mind me being honest. I'm not strict on literacy, as long as it moves the story forward, but I'm most comfortable in the 2-4 paragraph range. This is not to say that a single paragraph might not get all the plot motion done; it’s also not to say I won’t get carried away and write a freaking novel. Both have happened.

I'd prefer we end up on Discord, but if you want to hammer stuff out here then move over when we're about ready to start, that would be splendid.

I was actually looking for a good mdzs fanfic to read and you have blessed me with a new chapter and I am forever thankful! (Tho if u have some reccs… jk unless you really want to)

I hate how JGY is catching on and is planning to essentially use everything good in Wwx’s life against him. Especially about Jin ling. I fear for that boy. I do love that JGY has caught on to the fact that probably the most dangerous person in this whole operation is LWJ because of his devotion to WWX even though the truly most dangerous person has yet to reveal himself. Actually, speaking of Nie Huaisang, my mind can’t help but go to JGY talking to NMJ’s head. God that was creepy but honestly I could see him doing that. Also JGY being jealous of Jiang Cheng because Xichen talks about him so much? Hilarious. Tho a small part of me does wonder if he’ll get a little revenge on him for that. Curious as to what’s happening with WQ and WN because Wwx is no longer there and I love those two an unnecessary amount or when the topic of MXY will inevitably come up.

The juniors not telling JL about WWX is both tragic and understandable and I respect them for it. WWX mother henning them immediately after they got back is adorable. Plus the little bonus of LSZ’s memories being maybe brought back a little?? Also LWJ just sitting back and going “ah, so this is why my son is perfect”. Adorable and I will be screaming about this for at least an hour.

LWJ’s gay panic over literally just sleeping in the same bed will never not be funny. Just as WWX cuddling closer to him because he’s cold will never not be adorable.

LUNNAAAA, hey. Nice to see you. You're awesome and incredible. First off, MDZS fic recs!!! I always think a good fanfic writer is a fanfic reader as well, so watch as I crack my knuckles and offer up some of my favourites. Transmuter by WithLoweredVoices (completed) left me gnawing at the bars of my cage, and I think it's a brilliant modern type AU with magic/cultivation still sticking around. The world building is incredible without feeling janky and shoved in there, and the plot leaves me swooning. (Also check out this author's Grimoire (ongoing) because it's JUST as good, exploring Fae and dragons - what more could you want?) Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat by thefireplanet (completed) is a brilliant Dungeon Meshi AU - one that you can read without watching/reading its source material. It also made me watch Dungeon Meshi, it's just that good. The Shade of Old Trees by Kryal (completed) is another modern AU, with a certain demonic cultivator being found frozen in ice after a loong period of time, and hyjinks ensuing as scientists try to come to terms with the fact that this dude isn't actually DEAD. (I do have other fic recs, so please tell me if you want more) Oh, Jin Guangyao is definitely plotting and planning to twist everything Wei Wuxian has in his life and RUIN IT. He's done it before, he's had thirteen years to slowly break the man down - it shouldn't take a lot of time to do it again. Plus, having everyone who cares about Wei Wuxian in his reach is brilliant for him, but not at all so great for anyone else. I do believe he just yaps to Nie Mingjue's head a lot, because there's no way that the head can tell anyone - the only way he can trust someone with his secrets, teehee (also, I completely did reference the Good Place Ariana meme as a prompt for that entire scene. I love that you view Nie Huaisang as the most dangerous person in this game of chess - and, in this game of chess, he is - however, for someone being used as a pawn, there's only so far one can go before they move to destroy the whole board to stop it. Jin Guangyao may or may not have something planned with the Wens and Mo Xuanyu - after all, how is he to properly break Wei Wuxian down without using the very people he wished to help against him? Lan Sizhui is perfect and no, I will not be taking any response to this. I cannot deny that I'm positively buzzing with excitement at the angsty reveal scenes I (do not) have planned for the juniors, but they are a long way off from where we are right now, so I must reign it in until it finally comes up. Wei Wuxian is always a mother hen before he is anything else, so yes he will baby the teenagers, what the hell are you gonna do about it? Lan Wangji is seeing this and thinking "wife behaviour??" LAN WANGJI AND WEI WUXIAN ARE SO SWEET AND WHOLESOME I SURE HOPE NOTHING BAD HAPPENS TO THEM IN THE NEAR FUTURE. I SURE. I SURE HOPE. THAT. THAT DOESN'T. HAPPEN. It is surprising, more ground breaking than when baby Athena arrived at Earth and the reaction to that was a battle and a goldie’s death, that a cute, actively supportive relationship of Mu and Aldebaran thrived and blossomed in spite of the tensions within the Sanctuary, Mu being a handsome traitor to the Sanctuary and a upcoming holy war, oh my. Their relation is down to earth, relatively chill and interestingly I say it is more rooted in reality compared to most ships. This is because of the Sanctuary being less as a factor, a component of their relationship, if the sanctuary was no more tomorrow, both can adapt quickly to the society and take less time to adjust. I would say that the Sanctuary during the 13 years in a way separated them because Mu was in Jamir in his isolation and Aldebaran could not freely visit him. Hence that could explain partly their detachment from the Sanctuary before Athena took over. I could imagine some sneak around and the rare times Mu visited the Sanctuary, both worked hard to nurture their relationship and it worked. 

Canonically, in every Sanctuary arc, Aldebaran trusted Mu’s judgement of the bronzes when they entered the Taurus temple that prompted Alde to see these bronzes had potential and he wanted to witness that considering the bronzes’ goal is to get through the twelve temples and their opponents are the gold saints who will stop the bronzes are crazy powerful. So Mu and Alde had a similar idea of prioritising and empathising the seventh sense to the bronzes that did help them winning the Sanctuary war and knocked a Pope down hahaha. 

(Mu: That’s karma, kill a Pope, you die as one.)

Something about AldeMu that make me root for them perhaps it’s the friends to lovers (which is not majority of my ships, but some are), it’s more like both compliment each other, why not see if they are awesome as lovers which is a cool exploration, both are chill even when exchanging banter together (most of the time, Mu still got his unhinged side and Alde is like “that’s cool, honey” and only really intervene if Mu was in actual danger).

When I was writing this answer, I got thinking, and I think too hard but for a good reason, as I thought something I never thought of before. One of the reasons I ship them, them being happy defies the expectations placed upon them in their world. I like a bit of defying/making your destiny/decision aspect (as there is a power of making decisions which both have done to be together and worked hard for it). Mu being away and isolated in a way mirrors Shion’s fate of being isolated and alone in the Sanctuary which is rough for both of them, especially for Shion because it is been centuries and he had to built an army and for Mu, after Shion dies when he was 7, an young age he isolate himself up to his late teenage years which affects and stays in his psyche. That impact is still there but Mu and to some extent to the people he cultivates his friendships and other relations, navigate around that, his closest relation who he has been on his side the most, literally and metaphorically is Aldebaran in the classics and spinoffs. 

Aldebaran in canon wise, being portrayed and in comparison to the rest of the goldies as not as visible considering he plays not a big role in the Sanctuary in the 13 years (mostly he wasn’t seen or even implied), was he involved in the Sanctuary politics or did he stay out by his choice or lack of opportunity. However his own self, I like to think is true, that is he is faithful to Athena and keeps his head down and get things working, I headcanon him being a steady pillar, especially if there are times of instability in the Sanctuary, Mu leaned on him and rely on him for information and Alde would make sure to keep Mu safe considering I think he knew death could be ordered like it was for Aioros. That makes him significant, his authenticity and his giving love and mercy, almost he is a model saint but on his own accord and stand. That is Mu slowly fell for him and chose him because of his soft power and restored his faith in humanity and tried to do some good before the holy war took him.

Hades' arc is so heartbreaking, especially Alde’s death and Mu grieving for him in tears. 

Ah I cannot forget the important part of this awesome ship, both AldeMu and Kiki form a family unit, stable, strong and loving and multilingual lmao. Mu and Alde’s nurturing side in raising Kiki really shines and makes his life happy unlike their own childhoods. I often deny canon that I don’t acknowledge Mu and Alde’s death, but they are still around in Saint Seiya Omega, them being grandfathers to Raki and giving Harbinger a hard time haha. 

I have to thank CGI KOTZ for AldeMu wedding imagery when they are standing in front of the structure that looks like a church that we didn’t expect but needed, then after they got married they did the funeral/burial of Shion’s body and their fallen comrades. I have to thank AldeMu server for enabling me as always xD I thank every AldeMu authors and artists for creating fanfics, fanarts, events, doujinshi and headcanons for existing, inspiring and giving love every way to this ship.

i love promising things and not following up. it’s awesome. superrrrr cool. anyway, little life/fic update for you all. it’s 4am, please bear with me.

i wanted to wait to do this until i had more work done so i could drop snippets and have an actual date for the hiatus to end, but you know.

to be honest, the brain? is not great. where’s the halloween meme. mental is hocus. health not pocus. etc etc. and the thing is i have a support system of sorts, therapy, all that good stuff. i also have, like, four or five mental illnesses. and because of the logistics of College, none of my support system is actually physically nearby most of the time. so. that kinda sucks. <3 i miss people. horrified to discover i might actually be an extrovert and just anxious.

but you know, ups and downs. this week, or at least this weekend, we’re on an up, which is good. the shitty part is, this time last year i coped by writing so, so much fanfiction. truly, look at my ao3 september-december 2022. wild.

and i just. can’t really write these days, for whatever reason. not easily. and it sucks! because i love this story! i want to tell it so bad! but the initial hyperfixation has worn off and my motivation to do anything at all is a bit….how do you say….nonexistent. so like. halfhearted cheers. sorry.

the best timeline i can give right now is this: i have a fandom trumps hate auction due december 31st. it’s about half done. that is obvs first priority (after silly things like school and work) because there are actual material consequences if i don’t finish. i am also launching something original in january, if i can get myself together enough to do so. i think i will. i’m mostly ready (and hey, my main is in my pinned if queer fantasy pirates sounds up your alley?).

and also, there’s FLFverse. i would really like to get back to posting before the year is up, but :/ not sure. definitely want to by january. i’m not sure if i’ll be able to keep up with two chapters a month or if i’ll have to drop to one or something even more sporadic than that.

TLDR: Things changed in fandom and I'm not sure I like it anymore; it's a sign of the times and I don't know what to do

I see many fanfic writers taking mental health time. Hell, I am too.

I started writing fanfic almost 30 years ago. Before I reached the internet. I wrote them for myself, in big notebooks that I had to hide from my mother, because I was a horny little thing and I really wanted to fuck Captain Kirk and Data (mostly Data - I fully blame Data for being a rampant technosexual).

It was so much fun, but something in me wanted to show those writings to people. I wanted to share my thoughts and my words. Sadly, some of it was immensely dirty and I have always been ashamed of my writing. Ended up ripping all the notebooks in little pieces and throwing them away.

I grew up, internet started being a thing and I found out fanfiction. I'm Brazilian, you see; English is my second language. So at that time I read more than wrote, but I didn't have the courage to post anything anyway. I felt the desire to be a part of it, anyway.

In my early 20s, LiveJournal happened to me. And that's when things took a turn. I really really wanted to write, so I joined Stargate RPGs, and wrote with a LOT OF PEOPLE. It was immensely fun and those people welcomed with open arms, even if I didn't write well or didn't write that well in English.

If my written English is good I credit to them fully. We plotted and plotted and wrote and wrote...

I wrote so many awesome stories (some dirty and some not). I still remember one story arc where my character was uploaded to Atlantis and I had SO MUCH FUN writing him awakening through commands, heavily inspired by my experience with Linux at the time. It was beautiful, honestly, writing my sweet Nemecsek confused, trying to regain his senses through trial and error as his whole being became a machine (Nemecsek was his nickname, I love 'The Paul Street Boys' - there was a reason for the reference, but I digress).

LiveJournal had the Kink Memes too, and they were insane. People anonymously prompted the most varied kinks and characters, and writers anonymously filled them. We were... Free. If you didn't like the kink you could jump to another thread. Most of the comments were commenting the works, some prompts were filled multiple times and some of them never got to be filled. The variety of kinks and kinds of writing were glorious. No one judged. People understood it seemed to be a space of exploration (in many many ways).

I wrote in other fandoms, and people were nice and kind. Never got a single shitty comment; people either helped me improve or left me alone... Well, left me to write with my friends.

LJ started going bad, I tried Dreamwidth, and I saw the birth of AO3, joined Tumblr for the long form RPGs, but things weren't the same for me.

Life started happening, and I didn't write fanfic for a LONG LONG TIME. The experience with fanfic gave me confidence to write in Portuguese, my own stories. I kept writing, just not fanfic.

I came back recently, and I decided for Tumblr; I like the things I know. I wanted to write erotica. I realized I love erotica as a vehicle to show different sides of characters, what can I say? I was raised reading Harlequin romances and I was a BIG FAN of Ellora's Cave. It is what it is and I will not complain or explain myself further.

But things were different. There was this crazy pressure. In the era of content, fanfic doesn't seem to be an act of love anymore. It's a platform to raise a public. To become famous (fuck Cassandra Clare, I remember where she came from). It became weirdly professional in crazy ways (well, crazy for me).

People demand everything now, from updates to perfection, passing through stances in public discourse.

I feel this insane pressure. I can't just 'write' anymore. People plan and work their way to followers and... It's all so polished I feel I can't just write.

I'm afraid of sharing now. I AM AFRAID OF SHARING AND THIS IS INSANE. Fandom have always been about sharing. Sharing opinions, sharing art, filling gaps, playing carelessly with plot holes and characteristics.

I'm trying. I'm really trying to come back, and I see people trying to come back, but it's hard to do it with this pressure.

I don't know what to do. Part of me wants to fight and keep writing, making friends. Part of me is insanely afraid of being seen. I don't tag my shit right, I can't afford these shitty interactions. I get anxious whenever people share my stuff, even if I truly want people to see it; I keep asking myself when is someone going to be shitty to me.

So I get it, my friends. Take your time. I'll miss your writing. I hope it's still flourishing in your beautiful minds, even if I can't see it. I wish I could be sharing it with you, but I completely understand. Please take care. I'll be here when you come back.

Hello! M here seeking F partner for slow-burn, story-based, plot-heavy, sweet but dramatic, romantic roleplays, with a healthy dash of spice when the time is right. As a result, all partners must be of legal age.

As a warning, I'm pretty vanilla, so if you're looking for a partner to engage your wild kinks, I'm probably not your guy. Sanderstober Art Prompts 2020

Amidst all the editing and business, I haven’t forgotten to at least begin a list of Inktober prompts for you all this month! I’ll be adding more as I go! And, of course, like always, even if we’ve passed by a certain date (like, for instance, if it’s October 9th, but you wanna share a prompt from October 1st), that’s, of COURSE, fine! And, also of course, you can always join and do prompts at any time, this is purely for fun! The list has now been completed!

Oct. 1st - Take your profile pic or a favorite profile pic in the past and create a spooky version! Double dog dare you to use it as your actual profile pic.

Oct. 2nd - Create a Suit or Dress inspired by a specific candy bar wrapper design!

Oct. 3rd - This year could almost BE a scary movie. I shudder to put this as a prompt… but what would a poster for that movie look like?

Oct. 4th - Because I think the world just needs more of this, I want you to try and create the most wholesome or cute image you can. Little animals? Yes please. Feel-good scenarios? YES PLEASE. This one’s vague, but I don’t care! Lol

Oct. 5th - Take a traditional scary tale (“The Headless Horseman”, “Frankenstein”, “Dracula” ) and portray a plot point or poke fun at a character or characters from the story in the form of a MEME!

Oct. 6th - Nightmare Before Christmas was a tale about if Halloween took over Christmas and made so many traditionally Christmas-y. What if the reverse happened? What would Christmas make Halloween to look like?

Oct. 11th - Please depict any Halloween monster, traditional or from a movie, and how they’re currently dealing or adapting to life in 2020

Oct. 13th - Many of us have stories we’ve created in connection with certain songs we’ve heard. For this day, try depicting even just a scene of that story and what song inspired it! If you can’t recall any story connected with a song you’ve heard, maybe just make one up in connection with a fave song of yours!

Oct. 14th - Take a famous painting from any time in history… and October-fy it (Halloween-y or Fall-y would be awesome)

Oct. 15th - Take an ordinary, every day location or refuge (a playground, a library, a treehouse, etc.) and depict the landscape of an entire world based on that location

Oct. 16th - Two games that have helped distract us and gave us much-needed entertainment this year are Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Among Us! What if the characters from Animal Crossing… were in Among Us?

Oct. 17th - Contrarily… what if the characters from Among Us… were in Animal Crossing?

Oct. 18th - A perennial favorite - Depict your OTP and how they’re enjoying Halloween this year. Coordinating costumes? Maybe 2020 is affecting how they celebrate?

Oct. 19th - Take one of your favorite characters from any piece of media. What piece of social media would they thrive on? You could depict either what their media might look like if you’re seeing it on your phone or you can depict them filming or writing for that piece of social media!

Oct. 20th - draw your home state, province, county, or country... if it were a PERSON

Oct. 21st - I definitely have been seeing an upsurge in Uno card usage this year, especially the Reverse card. Take one or several characters, maybe all from the same series, or different characters from different series, and depict them on Uno cards that best reflect their personalities! Make a super cool Uno deck or just one cool Uno card!

Oct. 22nd - Take one (or more) of the Seven Deadly Sins [Greed, Wrath, Gluttony, Sloth, Lust, Pride, Envy] and personify them!

Oct. 23rd - There’s been a lot of movies that have taken fairy tales and modernized them for present day. What if we took a fairy tale… and put it in the distant future??

Oct. 24th - Take a non-human character from any piece of media, and depict how they’d look as a human!!

Oct. 25th - POETRY PROMPT - I wanted to include something on this list that focused a bit more on writing than art, but you are MORE than welcome to create artwork to accompany this. I think we all have one or two specific moments from a piece of media (tv show, movie, video game, book, etc.) that has affected us in such a poignant way that it lives in our minds rent free. Create a poem describing the events of this moment, trying to capture the very magic that impacted you so much.

Oct. 26th - What would a Disney character’s outfit be if they were a member of the Avengers?

Oct. 27th - What would a specific Avenger’s look be, if they were in a Disney movie??

Oct. 28th - There are traditional fears, the ones that comprise many a horror movie… and then there are more niche/unconventional fears, specific to you as a person. They can be potentially silly, or irrational, or conceptual… what would a movie poster look like with that fear being the main featured threat??

Oct. 29th - WRITING/POETRY PROMPT - Wanted to throw at least one more of these in here! Through writing (and, of course, artwork, if you’d prefer!), detail a beloved memory you have connected with either Autumn or Halloween.

Oct. 30th - There has almost been a Pokemon made to pay tribute to almost every animal or inanimate object (sword, lawnmower, sandcastle, key ring, magnets, etc.). Nevertheless, create a Pokemon from SOME object or animal that hasn’t been made and give it a name! Bonus points if you can then create an evolved form of it!

Oct. 31st - It is HALLOWEEN, baby!! Take any character(s), from media or your own OCs, and depict them celebrating Halloween!! It can be them celebrating in quarantine, or out and about since it’s fantastical, just aim for it to be wholesome and Halloween-y. We could always use a bit more of that on the 31st of October!!
