He was sealed away but he was still on the surface where he could harm her people. The Sheikah stayed behind to watch over the seal and were blessed with protection from Hylia, and then skyloft was formed. However, any Hylian that was left behind on the surface were… let’s just say they did not have a good time. Unfortunately, First was one of the Hylians. Now he was dead, so ofc he didn’t go to the sky with the rest of the Hylians. But being on the surface instead of in the sky did something to his spirit. Instead of being taken to the sacred realm where he could rest, he was taken to a strange world. A world that was not touched by any of the golden goddesses. A world that was littered with demons and deities fighting for power. Termina. With his spirit taken to Termina, he was turned into the fierce deity due to magical bs powers. But he doesn’t remember anything. He doesn’t remember Hylia, his friends, or his past. I kinda wanna write a fic about fierce slowly learning about who he was in the beginning while fighting demons threatening the mortals of Termina (this is what got him the name Fierce Deity. He was a powerful fighter but was benevolent, so he wasn’t considered a demon to most people). The thing is, Fierce is too different from First. The core beliefs of protecting others isn’t gone, but the personality has changed. Fierce changed. But he does remember Hylia and the comfort she brought him.

I’m just gonna ramble about my Termina lore lol. Termina is a very stagnant place, very empty, and noticeably darker than Hyrule. Since so many demons and deities fought for power, a lot of sages in Termina used their magic to seal each deity and demon into masks. They couldn’t be destroyed, but they could be restrained. There’s superstition with masks since it’s believed that when you put on a mask, that deity or demon’s power is able to break free. The only way to ultimately free the demon from the mask is to destroy it. Luckily, the dangerous masks are hidden away, so most masks are harmless. Anyways, Majora was the most powerful demon and there was an ultimate battle between him and Fierce. In the end, Majora was sealed away, but because of Fierce’s power, he was sealed away as well since everyone feared his strange and neutral power. They didn’t know what he was capable of. The only deity that wasn’t sealed away was the mysterious Goddess of Time, and that’s cuz she never showed herself physically. She’s the ONLY deity that resides in Termina, but she’s not as powerful as the golden three (hence why she used to her time powers to draw in a hero from another world to save them from destruction if you catch my drift ;))

Now, I hinted at this in my fic with Fierce and Talon, but Fierce has grown bitter and hateful towards mortals. As First he was framed and imprisoned for years. As the FD, he was helpful and got sealed away. Mortals do not impress him in any way because they’re always selfish and unjust

But yeah, there’s a lot of lore surrounding my fierce and first haha XD I don’t care if I’m spoiling anything I’ve wanted to share this lore so bad. That’s why I’m stoked about playing MM so I can learn more about Termina more. To me, it CANT be another country in the world of Hyrule, I fully believe that it’s a parallel universe. But yeah.

TLDR; First’s spirit was taken and transformed into the Fierce Deity after he was left behind on the surface and taken to Termina since there was no godly influence to protect him. :)

so basically what if he is kinda just

a guy

who isnt very logically smart

but is still just a guy

what if he only became the duke of puzzles because king just saw the fanciest guy there and assumed he would do a good job

and you see what if rouxls desperately wants as much power as possible because he is horribly afraid of stepping out of line BECAUSE OF king's takeover and thats why he wants to be correct and right all the time which we know because hes always switiching sides

so what im saying is rouxls was just some fancy moderately-powerful guy in the castle until king took the whole place over and threw him in charge of puzzles and ROUXLS SAID NOTHING HE DID NOT CLARIFY THAT HE WAS NOT A GOOD PICK AT ALL, AND THAT WAS BECAUSE HE WAS SCARED TO DISAGREE WITH THE KING BUT ALSO BECAUSE HE LOVES HAVING POWER BECAUSE THAT MEANS HE CAN............ look look im gonna say it im gonna say it MAKE HIS OWN RULES. ROUXLS IF YOU WILL. BECAUSE THAT IS HIS WHOLE THING AS WE KNOW.

so lets recap again

rouxls is a guy

rouxls gets thrown into a higher position of power despite being a horrible choice for it

rouxls says nothing because king scary and power good

rouxls is also nervous all the time wait what?

allow me to elaborate

i think that deep down, WAY WAY WAY DEEP DOWN, rouxls is genuinely likeable

hes just trying very VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY HARD to appear confident and powerful.

see what if before the king got goofy and blah blah blah took over

what if rouxls was just like

very socially awkward (but he lowkey still is)

like he was respected he was fancy he probably played croquet or something he looked after his worm terrarium which he definitely has you cant lie to me

he wasnt dumb he was just not really good at talking to people and also not very logically smart

his intelligence simply resided elsewhere like insects and maybe fancy dancing i dunno i havent asked him

essentially his excessive pride is just to over-compensate for the fact that hes nervous all the time

he doesn't want to display any signs of said nervousness because he feels that if he does, it'll cost him his status and respect

so now another recap

rouxls is secretly (we can all tell actually) a nervous wreck who is scared of stepping out of line and who deep down just wants to ballroom dance and play croquet and maybe teach lancer how to play the piano wait whaaaat????

let's talk lancer.

we know that rouxls genuinely cares for lancer because he asks how he is even when hes still trying to hate the party.

BUUUUT LETS MAKE THIS EVEN CUTER OR SADDER I CANT TELL

rouxls knows how absolutely terrifying the king is and so he kind of always worried about lancer. but when the king began to neglect his son that really made it clear that the kid needed better care.

by now, rouxls was used to acting all high-and-mighty, but at some point he decided to drop the act just a little bit to check on lancer who was probably sat by himself looking a bit sad

and yeah he finds lancer annoying quite a bit of the time but he knows he needs looking after

and often he may genuinely enjoy himself when hes playing with him because he can forget about having to appear smart and powerful

he's still annoyed about the whole "lesser dad" thing tho and the splat noises

now i know what you're thinking "but what about the accent"

who knows, maybe its his real accent, maybe it isnt

but i do think it would be funny if he's been saying "-eth" so much he sometimes accidentally uses the "th" sound instead of the "s" sound e.g "lanther- i I MEAN LANCER"

basically hes slowly giving himself a lisp

now all that is well and good but of course it is mostly just headcanons.

Hobie getting angry headcanons

Based off of @hei-chans post <3 check them out they're cool

tw: these are mostly him with my Sona (Maitreyi 🥰)

he doesn't get angry often he's a pretty chill guy and fairly nonviolent

except the moment he gets pushed over the edge his whole demeanor changes and he can go berserk

now before you get mad at me for saying that just think about it

he's spider-man and obviously gonna be fairly stressed considering how he's completely by himself trying to take down Osborne's regime in his universe

and he's pretty okay with violence in his comics (he gets drunk before fights too)

so when he gets angry I like to think he gets angry

its like that silent anger where he's just seething and glaring at the person who did whatever they did

the kind of glare that makes you cower and squirm and subconsciously feel guilty even if you didn't do anything

things that make him mad are usually people being stupid, as in being really brash and overconfident about something and not being openminded about other opinions

trying to tell someone what to do when they didn't ask

putting other people down for not knowing something

or any vulgar comments about a person's appearance or personality

they all give him the ick and he immediately goes into anger mode when it happens

examples:

when Maitreyi came to his universe for the first time he took her to his favorite pub and one of his friends started talking to her like she was stupid, mansplaining, making fun of her accent, her clothes, whatever, and hobie got so mad that he kicked the guy out and never spoke to him again

he's a huge feminist so if anyone ever tries to mansplain something to her he'll never talk to them again (but he let's her handle herself in those situations cuz he knows she can)

another example is when somebody tried to hit on gwen while she was staying at his place in her universe and didn't stop even after she got uncomfortable so hobie literally kicked his ass and bought his drummer ice cream to make up for it

pavitr gets bullied sometimes in his universe by people who make fun of his accent and clothes (he's from a small town so he has a different accent than the others in Mumbattan) so hobie pulled a kdrama move, pulled his mask on and absolutely beat their asses (they never bothered pavi again <3)

like I said he doesn't get angry often but when someone goes too far he makes sure they know it

whether its by beating their ass or cutting them off

and once you get on his bad side its hard to come back from that

its hard to make him dislike you but once he does he probably won't like you again
