♔—- Her time with Kratos had been... interesting, to say the very least. They started off on a bit of a rocky stretch, as Kratos wandered into Laufey’s camp in a manner that suggested he was a threat and very much aware of the fact. It hadn’t taken her long to plant him firmly in the ground and show him why she wasn’t someone worth messing with, lest he wanted to lose what remained of his then-broken body.

Faye, however, was nothing short of a kind creature, a nurturer at heart, and while she had absolutely no hesitation in defending herself, her people, and her weapon, she just as quickly apologized, lowered herself down onto her knees, and offered Kratos her assistance.

At first, he’d seemed... unwilling to accept. She was a stranger, one that proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that she could hold her own against him, and if she wished it, she would be nothing more than a threat to him, his well being, and any goals he may wish to accomplish. After all, he’d been searching for her axe, and she made it very clear that she had no intention of letting him have it.

She had, however, taken care of him. It became obvious quickly that the reason he desired her weapon so dearly was no because of the power it held, but his belief that its magic could be used to heal a wound that would not heal. It proved simple work for her to patch him up, though his recovery stretched on for many days. She’d been forced to make a more permanent camp for them, one with a makeshift shelter that protected them--more important, Kratos--from the elements and proper wards and defenses set in place so the wanderer could heal in peace rather than worry over what lurked in the woods.

Nursing him back to health and protecting him as she did so was something she’d been more than willing to do, especially once he stopped fighting her on it. Once he recovered, he could be on his way, and they would never have to see one another again. His health improved, but he refused to leave her side, insisting instead that he owed her a debt and he would not leave until that debt was paid off. Faye didn’t see it that way. She saw her kindness as just that--kindness. Kratos saw it as a service that he could never repay because she saved him.

Until the day came that he did repay her, defending her from a freak accident that otherwise might have ended in the loss of her life. His debt repaid, he no longer had reason to tie himself to her, and yet... he stayed. At least, when Faye voiced that he didn’t have to go, that if he wished to stay with her, she would enjoy his continued companionship. From there, their relationship seemed to grow more intimate.

While Kratos always seemed to enjoy her stories and took solace in her voice filling the trees, they’d never tipped too far over the edge. She’d admit to a certain attraction... the type that had her yearning, though she hadn’t readily admitted it. She felt that he may very well feel the same, but his emotional range seemed more or less nonexistent. Pushing it might have driven him away or made their travels unnecessarily tense, but from the moment that Kratos decided to stay with her without being bound by a debt he owed?

Considering very little time actually passed between Kratos agreeing to stay and their naked body moving together in harmony, illuminated only by their campfire and the moonlight? It was safe enough to say that their relationship took a very violent shove into something more serious, or at the very least, something more intimate. Faye wasn’t sure Kratos quite knew how to love, though. He’d been deeply wounded by something--or many somethings--in his past that made it difficult to break through the hardened shell he built around himself to protect his core.

Over time, though, despite there never being verbal confirmation, Laufey knew her feelings for Kratos were very real and oh so very intense. Love, she dared to think, but never had the nerve to utter such a thing aloud. More for fear of scaring him off than anything, she decided to firmly keep such a confession to herself. She knew, sooner or later, she would have to admit it. If Kratos was the man she’d seen in her visions, the future father of her child... He would have to know eventually, but waiting for the right time to drop such a thing seemed with how delicate pieces of their relationship seemed. Both so strong and so fiercely determined to make it in this world, one way or another, it seemed almost laughable that parts of their connection still seemed so fragile.

Never, though, did she truly expect Kratos to be the one to say it first, though.

She sat next to their fire late that night. Late enough that they probably should have both been asleep by then, but they’d gotten a late start to dinner due to more... pressing activities that took priority once they made camp and settled in for the night. They did work up quite an appetite, though, so Faye set out to roast a few sizeable pieces of the deer they took down during their hunting adventure.

Wrapped in little more than a blanket, she sat on a log she’d conjured for convenience and comfort, turning the roasting meat over the fire to ensure an even cook on all sides. Kratos finished setting up the last of their perimeter before settling in beside her. He’d grown rather confident in sharing close spaces with her, so he wasted little time in wrapping two strong arms around her midsection as she prepared their late supper.

“I... love you. I just wanted to tell you that.”

Both of her hands paused and her emerald eyes rounded in surprise as the words sank in. Kratos wasn’t much for conversation. He loved listening to her talk and he hung onto every word she said, but he wasn’t always the best when it came to speaking his mind or elaborating on his feelings. She never minded. He spoke enough to satisfy her and if he had something he wished to say, something he felt important, he would say it, but emotions were a difficult enough thing for him to express in action, so to openly confess to them? If she hadn’t already been sitting, she might have fallen over, and even now, with Kratos’ arms around her, she felt like she might still slip off the log she perched herself on.

As shocking as the statement was, though, she knew it must have been weighing on his mind and heart for quite some time, and it was important enough that he felt she needed to know.

“I--” she murmured, stuttering over what she wanted to say in an endearing but almost uncharacteristic fashion. Gods, she’d never imagined what love could truly feel like. She always worried after seeing those visions that the person she met who would eventually have a child with her would never feel organic, that their love wouldn’t be real, or worse, wouldn’t exist at all. What did she know about being in love with someone? She never had been, before now. Infatuation, sure, but love?

Turning enough to face him, she left the deer roasting without proper supervision. If it burned, it burned, plain and simple. “I know,” she finally murmured. “I’ve known for quite some time and I’ve known even longer how I feel about you in turn. I--” Even though it was already out in the open, she found it difficult to say it. Why? It should have been the easiest thing in the world.

“I love you too, Kratos,” she murmured, allowing the blanket to fall away from her naked shoulders so she could easily wrap her arms around his neck without potentially tangling them in the fabric. “I love you too,” she repeated. “I just wasn’t sure when would be the appropriate time to say it, I just never imagined I’d be beaten to the punch.”

i mean, he’s the king, so it’d have to be grand - for the ceremony, a lot of nobles from everywhere are invited, but only a select few close friend are invited to the reception

dedue is the best man. it would be illegal to not choose him after all that he’s done

dimitri has never cried at a speech before but somehow his vows made everyone present burst into tears

i mean, he doesn’t cry during the wedding, but afterwards?? he weeps in your arms for like two hours

it’s blue. the theme is blue & it’s the most fanciest thing you’ve ever seen

obviously you’re crowned & dimitri couldnt be more proud of you

before the two of you can cut the (extremely fancy, not either of your idea) cake, it is thrown in sylvain’s face by none other than felix

DEDUE

only a small event, with just a few people invited. the blue lions, of course, a few friends from other houses, and a few of the sweet old ladies that seem to be attached to him

like how dedue is dimitri’s best man, dimitri is also dedue’s best man

flowers. flowers everywhere. petals are thrown at the two of you as you walk out of the church and you’ll be smelling like flowers for the next two weeks

dedue’s speech is very short but it also makes everyone burst into tears

you have to dance with dimitri too, i’m sorry - it’s not even that dedue is forcing you to, it’s that he hasn’t moved from his seat and he looks awfully sad

is always making sure that you’re alright and that you’re feeling fine, after all you’re both standing and talking for a very long time

he can only keep up with the conversations for so long before he starts getting shy again, & you both have to sit by yourselves for a while, quietly enjoying each other’s company

SYLVAIN

also a small event!! contrary to popular belief, sylvain has like three friends

obviously the blue lions are invited, as well as (reluctantly) his family, and your friends & family too

cant decide whether he wants to laugh or cry at the vows because they’re incredibly cheesy, but also incredibly sweet at the same time

felix is the best man & sylvain cried when he said he’d do it

carries you back down the aisle but has zero complaints if you want to carry him instead

the first dance is very romantic - his hands are very gently placed around your shoulders or your waist, and his head is rested in the crook of your neck, sometimes leaning up to whisper about how happy he is

FELIX

i will make those proposal headcanons for felix eventually. i just have to get through everything in my inbox first

he insists on having barely anyone at the wedding because he knows there’s a 99% chance he’ll look soft & he doesn’t want absolutely everyone to see that

sylvain is also felix’s best man. he turned bright red when he asked him, but he’d rather have sylvain be the best man than have the boar prince instead

doesn’t cry during the vows but you can see that his eyes are all misty & his cheeks are red

his voice wobbles during his speech and everyone simultaneously says “aww!” and he starts screaming

doesn’t talk to any guests, just stands by your side and awkwardly waits for you to turn your attention back to him

ASHE

he can’t stop blushing throughout the entire ceremony because he’s slightly embarrassed that all the attention is on the two of you & he’s incredibly nervous too

his hands are also incredibly sweaty & he almost drops the ring bless him

the sigh of relief after you both exit the church is hilariously long, but he’s just really happy that the scary part is finally over

much to ashe’s dismay, everyone was watching the first dance - they all had big smiles and fond looks on their faces, due to the big blush on ashe’s face and the tiny kisses he’d give every so often

for the next week after the wedding, everyone who attended constantly remarked about how softly ashe looked at you, and about how he couldn’t take his eyes off of you for the entire day

every time this is brought up he turns bright red again but he still looks at you the same way

Fic Writer Interview Game

dredging up an extremely old and unused Tumblr because @extraordinarilyextreme tagged me and I can't deny them anything heh but really thanks for tagging because who doesn't like talking about themselves

name: ftw_wolvie

fandoms: uhh in terms of fandoms that I'm really into and wrote/read fics, right now I'd probably say Detroit: Become Human, Leverage, and Critical Role. I have the attention span of a squirrel though so I also used to be super into Yogscast, the Man from U.N.C.L.E. (movie), and the MCU in general. Tbh the latter I still love, I just don't really read fics or immerse myself in the fandom as much.

two-shots: honestly don't know what this means, is it like a crossover or something? If that's the case, I have one, which I'm working on rn

Gut Feeling: a Bones and House M.D. crossover because I desperately needed Hilson and I also desperately needed Bones and Booth there when it happened

most popular multi-chapter fic: oh god it's almost too embarrassing to even put out here but given that exactly one (1) person will be reading this anyway, it's Manipulation's a Bitch, I think partially just because of pure age. That fic is old as fuck, and my current Gut Feeling one has a much better kudos to hits ratio but whatever, there ya go

actual worst part of writing: forcing my lazy ass to write. Like I said before, I have the attention span of a squirrel, so I drop fics like hot cakes the moment I focus on something else for like two seconds. I'm really trying with Gut Feeling so I've been trying to keep cranking out chapters but it's already a struggle lmao

how you choose your titles: honestly I have no process. I mean just read my titles-- they're god awful. I just think about a short ish phrase that I think summarizes or ties into the chapter or fic decently. If I wrote more angsty stuff I'd probably make long and dramatic all lowercase titles or something but I don't so uh, yeah

do you outline?: dear lord I wish I did. Clearly I'd be a much better and more consistent writer if I did but I don't. I just like writing as a sort of catharsis so mostly I just type out whatever is on my mind and hope it vaguely goes somewhere though it usually doesn't

idea you probably won't get around to, but wouldn't it be nice?: hmm, I actually don't think I have any burning ideas that I don't think I won't eventually get around to. Probably because I lose interest in them before they build up too high. Honestly, I have some crazy-ass dreams, and I have a couple that I'd love to develop further, but if I describe them I know they'll sound super stupid so that's all I'll say about that

callouts @ me: stop starting fics and then never finishing them like please just write some goddamn outlines or at least an ending for the love of god. Yeah that's pretty much it. Also, be more descriptive your writing is more like TV scripts than a book

best writing traits: well I think I'm decent at keeping my characters in character unless it's like, clearly a very different type of world or whatever. And I think my dialogue is okay? I don't think there's anything else to write home about tbh

spicy tangential opinion: do I have spicy opinions about fics? I don't think I'm involved enough in the fanfic writing universe to have any. Actually, is it a spicy opinion to say that doing weird things with formatting dialogue is like, not fun lol. Just use the quotation marks, space it in a way that makes sense, and we'll be just fine. The moment people start throwing around italics or slapping dialogue randomly within paragraphs is when I instantly lose interest in a fic

Welcome back! I hope you’ve been doing okay, I’m happy to see you in my inbox again.

Let’s get right to it! For this ask meme!

13. First fandom you ever wrote for?

That would be Durarara! I started writing for it when I was like 13 lmaooo, that was still back when FanFiction was main fic hub and not AO3. All my fics back then were SO EDGY like classic 13yr old stuff. But I do have fond memories of it. I mostly did Izaya/shizaya related stuff but I also did some self-insert/oc fics too and everyone there was so nice. I even made a friend there who’s responsible for getting me into roleplaying, lmao I met them through a wish fulfilment/self-insert fic. I always think about how grateful I am to people on fanfiction, I got a lot of reviews on my fics even tho they weren’t that good and I never once got a negative comment only nice ones. So it’s really them I have to thank for gaining confidence in my writing and continuing to do it to this day, hopefully a little better then back then. I still have my old fanfiction account but I’m never going to share with anyone because….it’s super embarrassing I was so young (⊙_⊙). But I do have very fond memories of it, I’m glad I was in that fandom in that time, humble beginnings but lots of nice memories.

26. Is there anything you’ve wanted to write, but you’ve been too scared to try?

Hmmm I don’t think there’s anything I’ve been scared to try but, and this is gonna sound weird, I really wanna write an omegaverse fic one day. And it’s not even for the sex like I don’t mind sex but I’m not super into writing it and I almost never write it in plot focused fics cuz….it just aint my thing. There’s sex in Ignite me which I wrote with a friend who wanted to include it but most I’ve ever done in my fics is kinda implied in Red String of Death. I’m…..getting way off topic. Anyway while I get omegaverse is like born for kink, that’s not what I’m really interested in. What I’m interested in is the world building and primarily pack dynamics. Think about it! There’s alphas n betas n omegas but most ppl just use A and O like :/ the fuck are betas there for. Like I know this is cuz most ppl are using it for sex and most ppl are monogamous and most ppl are just using it as shorthand for dom n sub but :///// my poly ass is asking for betas. You don’t just have three genders without a reason, betas would have a role in society and more importantly a role in family structure. In our society the most common pair structure is male x female but in theirs it wouldn’t be alpha x omega it would be alpha x beta x omega. So what does that mean for other pairings. Is alpha x omega considered unbalanced, deviant? Who takes what role in the household, wouldn’t people challenge those roles? Would there be trans alpha/betas/omegas, what the fuck is gender even in this society? Would having multiple secondary genders of the same kind in one relationship be considered weird, if so which would be more accepted and which less? I wanna know! So yeah not really scared of it as much as trying to figure out the right fandom and the right characters to do this on. I wanna write a sexless omegaverse fics focused on pack structure :3

35. Ramble about any fic-related thing you want!

I feel like I talked a lot already lmaooo I needed to get a good rant out of my system apparently. Here’s another fun thing I’ve been thinking about recently. Winter is my favorite season to write atmosphere wise. The entire plot of Call of the Wild happens in winter while in Red String of Death not only does dabihawks die in winter for the first time there is also a moment later where I use incoming cold to set atmosphere for a quieter scene. Winter is so useful! It can be turned into so many things think about it! Like if you want an angry, frenzied atmosphere, snowstorms are right there, biting chill, completely unable to see from snow flying everywhere. Happy atmosphere? Think about children going out to play in the snow, the pure white fluffy one early in the morning, still fresh and easy to play with. Somber, quiet, longing atmosphere? There will never be anything more quiet then a winter night, when the snow is muffling all sound, dark sky above and endless fields of white bellow. I love winter atmospheres!

Iidamei headcanons because I still adore this ship with every fiber of my being

- At some point during their time at UA (hoping soon with the new manga arc featuring villains that seem to be focused on support items? Can I get some Mei please??) Mei becomes really close with the Hero class, particularly the Dekusquad. Like she still drives them crazy but they understand her and become friends with her.

- Mei and Iida in particular understand each other as they both strive to be the best of the best in their respective fields, and both being somewhat quirky and highly intelligent (Mei’s crazy smart like, to be able to build the stuff she is? Genius engineer)

- Mei definitely develops a crush on Iida first. She doesn’t really get what she’s feeling, it’s super new to her, she’s never cared about someone as much, possibly even more, than her babies. She offhandedly mentions this to Uraraka, who instantly realizes Mei has a crush as it’s similar to what she was feeling toward Midoriya. Mei decides to ask Iida about it, but Uraraka stops her because... well, she isn’t really sure. Mei probably wouldn’t actually be embarrassed, but Uraraka just tells her she thinks it’s best if she keep the “weird feeling” to herself.

- Eventually, Mei realizes what exactly it is that she feels. God I really, really, REALLY am hoping for a situation where the villains like take Mei hostage and the Hero class have to rescue her. I mean like I said she’s a genius engineer and she’s just a child. They could convince her to make stuff for them easily. Yes I know it’s cliche but I want Iida to save her, then he realizes just how important Mei is to him too. Anyway, instead of being bold, I think something like this would actually make Mei back off from Iida a bit at first. She might be a little scared.

- Eventually though, she decides it’s stupid because Iida is her friend, her study buddy, and to his chagrin, her test subject. So then she becomes just like her old self again; but now she’s using Iida for less and wants to just hang out with him more. Iida is confused. The rest of the Dekusquad catches on and ships it.

- If UA has a prom (oh lord I’m hoping 😂😂) instead of asking Iida to it she tricks him into taking her. I say “tricks” but like, of course Iida would want to spend time with her there, she’s his friend. She just gets him to match her dress and to spend the ENTIRE night with her. She gets to slow dance with him. The entire class now knows, but Mei doesn’t care. When Mei tells him she tricked him into going with her, Iida is not mad like she expects. He’s a little shocked, but certainly not angry at being “used” like she had thought. He just wonders why she didn’t just ask him then.

- It takes a few years, but Iida eventually trusts her enough to explain about what happened with Stain. I don’t really know what the context would be for this, but I think it would be a really sweet moment for her. We could get a more compassionate side of Mei, encouraging him to continue pushing forward as a Hero and that she knows he’ll be a great one, and she’ll always be there to help him too. Potentially this could be the moment Iida recognizes he has feelings for her too. But I don’t think either of them would say anything to each other while still at UA.

- I think it would come down to later when Iida is a Pro Hero, Mei probably embarrasses him at a public event or something and he just wonders why she hasn’t changed from high school but she points out that he hasn’t either and she’s grateful for it. She would definitely say something cheesy about him being more important than her babies, and Iida is confused. Mei would definitely steal a kiss from him as a way of expressing her feelings. She’s bold and doesn’t really care what people think, definitely strikes me as a more actions than words kinda girl. She would leave Iida speechless.

- Iida is for sure a romantic type of guy. He’s very traditional when it comes to that sort of thing, so he’s going to court her, not just date her. He strikes me as very chivalrous as well, so he’s the type of guy you see holding every door open for her, paying for all their dates even if Mei insists she can too, giving her flowers and just making everyone jealous of Mei that she’s getting treated like a princess lol. Mei on the other hand is a little more awkward with gestures, but she tries. She makes things to help him in secret so that she can surprise him. But she is never less than 100% his girlfriend. She makes sure everyone knows it. Not in a territorial way, just like “this is my boyfriend, and he’s incredible!” Similarly, he will always talk about how amazing she is too. They’re just so in love it’s almost sickening but not

- I have this really interesting idea that’s sorta hard to explain, but Mei would become very focused on protecting him while he’s out being a Hero. Like how his engines stall when he uses Recipro Burst? She would work around the clock until she comes up with something in his hero suit that can protect him when that happens. His engines stalling leave him very vulnerable. Maybe some sort of function in his suit that when it senses him stalling, the suit bulks up to be more defensive? I dunno, I’m not an engineer lmao. If you’ve read my iidamei fic A Sound Like Thunder then you know I imagine Mei as being absolutely devastated by him getting hurt.

- When they’re dating, and married, and possibly having kids too, Iida is a worrywart. He’s always terrified of a villain targeting Mei, and if that were to happen he would absolutely destroy himself with guilt. Mei helps him relax though, helps him be a bit less strung so tightly; though she thoroughly enjoys messing with how earnest and gullible he is. They are a pretty famous couple, as Iida easily would be one of the top Pro Heroes and Mei would certainly be a famous support engineer, maybe even the CEO of a support company? But I don’t think she’d ever want to stop designing. So definitely a top engineer in the world for sure.

Most Popular One-Shot: So technically it’s The Hoodie™ where Tony shows up at MIT during family week to surprise Peter and overhears Peter tell his roommate that the MIT hoodie he’s wearing is his dads. But I’ve had a handful of requests that it become a series of one-shots that take place during family week, so as inspirations strikes me I’ll be adding more!

Most Popular Multi-Chapter Story: This is kind of funny because most of them are multi-chapter but I’m still working on the final parts. Going by kudos it’s Peter Parker’s Super Secret Snack Stash, in which Peter uses FRIDAY's system to have a conversation with Ned about AP History while he's sneaking into his super secret snack stash in the kitchen. Or in which Peter's spidey senses betray him in the most embarrassing of ways.

Favorite Story You Wrote: Probably definitely Peter Parker’s Super Secret Snack Stash but honestly I enjoyed writing Villain Origin Story so much. Basically the Avengers are embarrassing Peter before his date with MJ and he’s so mortified that he tells them all that the whole thing will be his villain origin story.

Story You Were Nervous to Post: I was really nervous about posting The Itsy Bitsy Spider Protocol. Probably because it’s the one I’m absolutely most excited and passionate about (I could talk about it all day). It focuses heavily on the dynamic between Peter and Tony/Pepper. And while it centers around all three of them, the second chapter is really going to emphasize the relationship Peter has with Pepper. I haven’t seen a lot of Irondad & Spiderson fics that heavily feature Pepper, so I wasn’t sure how interested people would be. But it’s done really well since I posted it a few days ago and it’s already got several hundred subscriptions, more than any of my others, so I’m stoked about sharing more of it!

How Do You Choose Your Titles: I pull lines from the fic that I really think will hook the reader as well as hint at the plot itself (with the exception of The Hoodie, because I wanted the title to really showcase the trope).

How Many of Your Stories Are…

Complete: Three of them. The Hoodie was intended to be a one-shot but may become a series of one-shots. Villain Origin Story is definitely a completed one-shot though. The third one is an old Attack on Titan one, lmao.

In-Progress: Two of them! Snack Stash and Spider Protocol one only have one chapter left. But I want to take a second to talk about the Itsy Bitsy Spider Protocol because while that particular one is nearly complete, it’s actually the first part of what is an outlined 5-6 part series. Each of them are connected to the other and they all heavily include Pepper in the dynamic and plot.

Coming Soon: I’ll list a few of them!! - Peter discovers through a school project that Tony is his biological dad and must now navigate the emotions surrounding that discovery- i.e. whether or not he should tell Tony, who he’s worried will panic and pull away when he finds out. Meanwhile, Tony is trying to find out why the kid is suddenly avoiding him and acting odd when they are together.

- Tony is a sophomore at MIT when, much to his fathers strong disapproval, he finds himself the babysitter of a wicked smart 10 year old who always manages to attract trouble. Not only that, Tony finds himself spending more and more time with the Parker family until ultimately he realizes that he’s stumbled upon a family he didn’t ask for but now never wants to lose. Several years later, lying in an Afghani cave with shrapnel fighting it’s way to his heart, he realizes that being a Stark in name doesn’t protect him from the infamous Parker Luck.(Follows the MCU beyond this point. Peter still becomes Spider-Man and Ben still dies.)

- While in class Peter’s phone blows up with news that Tony Stark has been in an accident. When he arrives at the Tower Tony is out cold and remains as such until late in the night. It just so happens that Peter is sitting alone outside the medbay, unable to sleep, when FRIDAY informs him that Tony is awake. It takes about twenty minutes for Peter to realize his mentor has a serious case of amnesia. Tony, for his part, now mentally back to his playboy persona refuses to be vulnerable and acknowledge to anyone that he has no idea what happened, where he is, or why the hell a fifteen year old (who shit, must be my kid??) is being so attentive to him.

Roman Prince comes from a family that has always been in the show business. His mom is an actress, his dad is a movie director and he has an older sister who is a famous fashion designer, so, he always has been a theater kid himself and is famous in the television business due to his parents influence (more like, he gets to be there because his parents know he loves to do it, but they might push him a little too, his sister also pops every now and then asking him to model for her latest clothes and he agrees, he doesn’t mind all that much, he loves to act and to make his family happy, so he endures it.) with acting and making appearances in shows and photo shoots for his sister, he had build quite the reputation to himself. People think he gets what he wants simply because of his status and that he sees himself better than anyone, when truth is, he’s just doing what he loves and trying to make his family happy and a little more united, since he is pretty much home alone 80% of the time, with his parents doing movies and his sister out of the country, but still making sure he gets all the education and needs from the staff that works around their home. So, while it seems he is happy, he is always so busy and lonely, he never gets the time to just be a normal teenager. He does manage to convince his parents to let him go to a public university and college instead of being home-schooled, so he has that for him. It is in college that he meets Logan, who quickly turns to be one of his best friends, despite his “know-it-all” presence that seems the completely opposite of Roman’s, The two managed to make quite the friendship. Is also there where he meets Patton and Virgil, also good friends of his, even though it seems Virgil doesn’t like him that much since he always tries to avoid him whenever he can, but Roman still considers him a good friend, probably just shy and hard to open up to new people, he can wait for Virgil to be comfortable around him, Patton did tell him to give Virgil time so, that is what he is doing. His chance to do something more finally comes when he is presented with a strange box that appeared in his room out of nowhere after helping an old man on the street while he was trying to sneak away from one of his photo shoots. Opening the box, he finds a strange ring and a small cat like creature called Plagg that explains (poorly) what he is and what is the meaning behind the ring, eager to become a superhero, Roman puts on the ring and turns into Chat Noir, and goes off to protect the city from the attack of a strange rock monster. While fighting, or better, trying to get used to his new powers and such, another strange hero lands (quite literally) on top of him, embarrassed, the hero introduces himself as Crimson Beetle, another new-hero apparently who “honestly have no idea what the heck is doing”. While his new partner seems to have some second thoughts and thinks way too much about anything they do, Roman is happy to be an hero and tries his best to encourage his new partner going as far as telling him to “just watch and learn if you aren’t too sure about this” whoever, Roman quick learns that he alone can’t do much, after almost getting his butt kicked by the rock monster to then be saved by Crimson Beetle himself. While his ego was a little bit hurt, Roman quickly realize that they are suppose to be a team and work together as equals, and he also quick realizes his new partner is just amazing, kind and incredible despite his insecurities, and isn’t surprised when he realizes he had fall in love with him, even if Crimson had made him swear to never reveal each others true identities to protect themselves, Roman still is trying his best to make Crimson realize his feelings for him (more like accept them, seeing he definitely isn’t too secretive about his crush) whenever they are working together to protect the city, it doesn’t seem like he is making much progress, but he definitely isn’t going to stop trying anytime soon. ---------------------- Virgil Glen on other hand, is pretty much the completely opposite of Roman. While Roman is outgoing and confident, loving to be the centre of attention, Virgil is an anxious mess who, if he could, would rather stay home all day long. Virgil lives with his older brother Devan and one of their mothers (gee Virgil, how come you have TWO WHOLE MOMS?!?!), who owns and work at her own flower shop. His brother has some skin issues, so he mostly stays at home, while Virgil on the other hand, has to go out and live like a normal teenager despite feeling like throwing up whenever he has to go in front of a group of people. It has been a few years since his mom disappeared mysteriously without a trace, police says they are sure she is dead, but his mother still seems to have hope she isn’t, while his brother just...seems to just have accepted it. As a matter of fact, since her disappearance, they haven’t really spend that much time together, Devan always in his own little world, and their mother working to keep them all feed, since Devan work doesn’t pay much, and Virgil is still only 17 years old. Their mom disappearance certainly affected them all, but It isn’t a topic anyone in his home is comfortable talking about, so it isn’t like they go around saying it. Virgil would always rather keep things up to himself and just go through them alone, being almost invisible to everyone, everyone in his school knew him as the “weird creepy kid” so all those comments didn’t help him with his self-confidence, leaving him to stay alone most of the time just drawing on his sketchbook and listening to music all by himself. Things change when a new transfer student named Patton decides to make himself his new best friend upon his very first day in college. While at first Virgil wasn’t that found of the idea, slowly, Patton certainly did make himself his best friend, who he could talk about anything. Including his long time crush on a famous guy named Roman, Virgil knew his crush on the guy was silly, as is was likely they never would meet in person, Patton would always tell him to never give up hope, Virgil would always laugh it off, Roman didn’t knew he existed and he had his own life and they would never meet, that was fine, he could live with that. That’s it, until Roman suddenly shows in his college to began studying in pretty much all the same classes as him and turned out to be an even more awesome person than Virgil thought he was. Patton obviously was excited saying that was a sign the universe wanted them to meet os something, while Virgil couldn’t do much as say a full sentence in front of Roman. It was no surprise that Patton managed to become friends with Roman, He was friends with pretty much the whole building at that point, but that didn’t mean Virgil was any less nervous around Roman, always hiding his blushing face in his hood and never really talking with him since he would always trip on his own words and hardly speak out something that made sense, and while part of him thought his ways would make Roman see him as the weird kid, for his surprise, Roma, kind Roman was always so patient and nice with him that it only made him crush even harder. And when it seemed his life couldn’t get more complicated, that strange box appeared in his room, the same day a strange rock monster began attacking town. Seriously, he only had helped an old man no get killed while crossing the road, and now there was those strange earrings and flying bug like creature inside this box. To say he was almost having a panic attack was a understanding. After the inicial panic and fear, he was calm enough to listen to the small creature, Tikki, speak. Yeah, apparently she could speak. Virgil was honestly just going with the flow at this point almost certain it was all a strange dream. Tikki explaining to him how she was a Kwami, a mysterious creature who could give powers to those who deserved it so they could protect and help those around them, saying that now more than never, the world would need her power and most importantly, HIS help, telling only him could stop the rock monster from destroying the whole city. Virgil hardly has a time to get all the information around his brain before he is putting on the earrings, saying some works Tikki told him to and having his clothes changing, he is still confused and scared as hell not sure he gets what is happening, but he decides he might as well go through this weird dream and get it over with. It was when he was trying to get to where the monster was, jumping from building to building with his strange yo-yo that came with the suit, he loses his balance and falls to what he assumes will be his death. To his surprise, instead of meeting with the cold ground, he lands on another guy with a strange suit who was walking between buildings with a weird staff, the guy quickly introduces him as Chat Noir, and says he is a new hero, while Virgil is just embarrassed beyond words, when Chat asks for HIS name, he just says the first thing that comes into his mind while looking at himself and says “Crimson Beetle” His first “battle” is a mess. He expected to “wake up” way before he had to actually fight, but the longer he goes into it, he quickly began to realize... that whole mess definitely isn’t a dream. He have no idea what to do, he never was the time of guy to fight like this??? That is a giant rock monster what do you expect him to do with a silly toy??? Chat seems to be the opposite of him whoever, eager to try to defeat the monster, going as much as offering to “defeat the best by himself” to which Virgil initially has no problem with. Let the guy do what he wants while he is here having a panic attack, yes, thank you. Whoever, he quickly comes to realize Chat is no match to this monster, not alone at least, and holding all the courage he can manage, he goes on to defeat the monster. He has no idea how exactly they did manage to do so, but apparently they did it. It was great, he actually feels incredible doing so?? Even though he is terrified pretty much all the way through, he still manages to pull it out alongside Chat and after he is safe back home, with Tikki sitting in his desk eating some cookies Patton baked him the other day, that he realizes that number one: This whole thing DEFINITELY Wasn’t a dream. And number two: Maybe he could manage being a superhero if he tried. The whole deal is helping him manage his anxiety and self-confidence issues after all. Tikki is definitely happy to hear that and promised to help him out as much as she can, she definitely is a nice company to him, alongside Chat, despite his constant flirting when they are in patrol or on missions. Virgil isn’t dense or blind, he knows Chat loves him, but his heart is still taken by Roman, so he doubts he could love Chat the same way he loves him, but saying all that without breaking his partner heart seems too mentally tiring for Virgil, so he just rolls with Chat’s flirting while being a mess back in college anytime he is anywhere near Roman.

Do you feel pressure to keep your life interesting? It's not interesting at all, so. I'd sure as hell like it to be. At what time in your life were you happiest? If it was in the past, would you want to go back and relive it, though still knowing all the things you know now? Like... early-mid-'17, maybe? That's when my recovering really kicked off. I wouldn't go back. Is there anyone who seems to always be under the influence of something when you see them or talk to them? Does it bug you? No. Have you ever found the blog of someone you knew in real life, but not very well? How did it change your opinions on them? No. Then again I've never tried to. What is something you are incredibly behind on? Politics. I'm more importantly (to me, lmao) half a year behind on Good Mythical Morning, believe that or not. I don't watch TV anymore so don't really care, but I'm massive seasons behind on Supernatural. What’s the last allergic reaction you had? Shit, right now with this seasonal business. I've been congested for weeks. What does it mean when you start eating less? What does it mean when you start eating more? If I eat less than usual, it'll always relate to weight loss, I assure you. I've worked to greatly improve on the latter, however; eating more generally means I'm extremely depressed. Or bored, but I've got enough discipline by now to not eat if I'm not hungry. What do you remember the most about recess at school when you were a kid? Oh boy... when my meerkat obsession began, I unintentionally started a trend of digging "burrows" with others in the sandbox. Our nails by the time we were done, holy shit. I LOVED doing it. What color are your kitchen chairs? A mess of beige hues with floral stuff on it, I think? I just know they're hideous and we all hate them. I don't really pay any attention to what the cushions really look like, though. Have you ever dated anybody online? *points to Sara* Do you listen to instrumental bands such as Hammock, Trentemoller, etc.? Nah. Were you ever a 'secret admirer’ before? No. Ever stalked someone? No. Do you poke a lot of people on Facebook? Is this even a thing still? But I didn't, no. What was even the point. What’s the farthest you’ve ever been from home? Illinois. Now that was the beginning of this story and explanation, now get ready for the real headcanons of the daily life of Papa Ardyn with his twin daughters:

Ardyn loves both in equal measures but never confuses which is which.

As you know from that other post, Ardyn likes to raspberry them whenever he changes their diapers or clothes.

Ardyn adores to kiss their cheeks and tummies.

Baby Twin #1 adores his hair, so he’s usually picking her and dropping her on his head like she’s but a tiny kitty, and lets her play with and pull from his hair all that she wishes.

Baby Twin #2 adores his beard, so he’s usually holding her close or letting her stay close to pat at and rub at his beard.

This makes things difficult because Ardyn has to keep it short all the time, enough so it’s felt, but not too much so it’s gone, but has to shave when it grows too long and baby twin #2 is upset when he’s shaved clean, so it’s a mess, really.

The twins love Ardyn’s real face.

It’s the best way to have them stop crying, show it to them, coo at them while with his deamon face on.

Sometimes the twins will wake up in the middle of the night to cry, so Ardyn has to go check them.

You’d think they want food or that they peed or something, but nope. They just want to see Ardyn’s daemon face.

You cannot blame them, they’re basically daemons, they love his face.

Ardyn loves to have conversations with them.

They’re smol babies so they don’t understand, but Ardyn loves to talk long with them and never gets tired.

He uses baby voice and toys with their hands a lot as they ‘talk’.

His baby voice is a slight raise of his voice pitch, and it’s always in almost a murmur, and he’s constantly laughing softly and lowly and kissing at their cheeks or hands.

This man is ridiculously sweet with his babies.

Ardyn bids goodnight by kissing both cheeks of both babies, so that’s 4 kisses each night.

Ardyn reads them to sleep.

Ardyn loves to carry each baby in each arm, to rock both at the same time, and hum them to sleep, too.

Sometimes it’s impossible to get this man away of his daughters when it’s bedtime, so he just stands there all night.

Not like he needs sleep, anyway.

Plus, his daughters are his entire universe, he could watch them all day and not get bored.

Ardyn quietly humming to them turns into a daily thing.

Ardyn actually has a nice voice for humming.

The look in his face when he looks at them, dammit, he loves them so dearly it’s impossible.

Ardyn can go all day hugged to his babies.

They make him so happy and he loves them lots, he can’t let go.

The babies sometimes pat or caress his face, and he loves when they do.

You should have seen this man’s face when he discovered onesies.

You’re NEVER going to get twin girls out of their onesies.

Ardyn’s favorite to dress them in is the moogle ones.

Baby girls love to fight each other for mere fun.

These baby girls are daemons, so there’s a lot of black mist and weird liquid on their faces and fangs and hisses and magic and this is demonic, satanic stuff.

Ardyn watches like “Aaaaaw! ♡ ～(‘▽^人) “

He cheers them on so both dare themselves to be stronger than Sis.

If a baby girl accidentally makes her sister cry, she’ll cuddle her until she’s not upset anymore.

They they will continue fighting.

Both babies always pat each other on the head after they’re done fighting.

What is this demonic family

Ardyn likes to dress the girls the same in matching clothes

Ardyn grows as a fanboy of costume stores

He visits costume stores at least once a week to see what’s new so he can get his daughters

Ardyn’s dressing them in costumes no matter if it’s just a normal day

Baby girls have been female Ifrits, garulas, moogles (YES, they have the onesies AND costumes), black & yellow chocobo, bats, fairies, kittens and all other things available in stores.

Speaking of costumes, this family has the best Trick or Treating in the world, because they can either dress up or just pull their real faces out.

Lmao Barbara these are real daemons shut up and hand out the candies

Ardyn and the smol girls like to play monster a lot.

Ardyn will pull his real face out and will act as if though “real Papa” is possessed, and Smol Twins will team up to ‘rescue papa’.

Ardyn chases both around the house and could go on for hours.

Sometimes smol twins hide and ambush Ardyn.

Ardyn will “fight” them and growl and try to raspberry them.

Some of these times, Ardyn will let them win.

The reward is having his human face out again while he acts as if though he had just been rescued.

“My heroines! You’ve saved me, you two are so strong! (˙︶˙)♡”

Ardyn likes to praise them a lot.

They’re his most beloved treasure, he’s often telling them how pretty and how strong they are.

Ardyn likes playing patty cake with both.

AT THE SAME TIME.

One hand per girl, so both are entertained.

It’s such a challenge, omfg

Ardyn says in-game he doesn’t feel physical pain so I’m going to assume his physicality isn’t too sensible so:

the twins like to hide. On his head.

Sometimes, baby twins will team up so one helps the other on top of Papa Dyn’s head, and Ardyn will go for hours with her hidden there and won’t know where she is,mistaking the weight on his head for his hat.

what is this family doing

The twins like to steal his hat and run away.

Twin little girls like to try his hat on.

It’s too big so it’s always falling to cover half of their faces, but that only makes them burst into a giggling mess, and both share the hat so each can try it over and over.

Ardyn usually watches while smiling and lets them play with it because dammit, they are adorable and he loves them.

As they’re often dressed the same, they always try to trick Ardyn into changing their names for their sister’s, but Ardyn always knows who is who.

Still, he sometimes pretends he’s been fooled and ends up playing with them.

Ardyn and twin girls like to curl up together to watch movies.

There’s Ardyn, watching princess movies because HE CAN.

There’s baby girls, watching gore because THEY CAN.

These girls like both fairy tales and horror movies, okay, let them be

Ardyn prefers the princess themed ones.

Papa Ardyn sits in the middle and each twin curls at each of his sides.

If it’s a musical movie, Ardyn will sing and dance to them with his kids.

He learned all the lyrics to all their favorite movies’ songs so he could sing them with them.

Ardyn’s not embarrassed to often dress up as the prince or hero of the movies so his kids have someone to play with.

They’re often calling the attention because they go in costume to the theatres when a new child movie is released.

Plus it’s three red-haired from which two are adorable twins, they are THE BEST FAMILY EVUR.

The three also curl in bed when it’s story time.

Ardyn lies in the middle and each twin at each side, in a way so the three can look at the big children book in Papa’s hands.

Ardyn likes to read to them slow and with the required emphasis, and truly enjoys of this.

Each twin likes to point at which part of the drawing of that page is their favorite before turning the page.

As they grow, Ardyn teaches them that way to start reading, at bedtime stories.

He reads a sentence, then encourages one girl to read the next one, and both him and sister help if she gets stuck, then he reads another, and encourages the other girl to do as her sister before, and so on and on until the three finish the book together.

The three are often falling asleep together.

Ardyn joins them in their tea parties.

You should see it, it’s Skyscrapper Tall Ardyn sat in a chair the size of a four year old, having invisible tea with two tiny girls, a headless chocobo plush, and a daemon plush toy.

Ardyn loves to smooch his daughters’ cheeks.

Every morning and every night, there’s still his ritual of kissing the four cheeks.

But there’s also random smooching of cheeks across the day.

Ardyn tried hiring Ignis to teach his daughters to bake cookies and muffins.

Ignis hung up on him.

The Daemon Family are learning on their own.

The Daemon Family almost burnt their own house.

The Daemon Family are learning at their pace, don’t pressure them.

They’re having a lot of laughs together at the failed results.

Once they get a grip of it, the Izunia ain’t going to stop baking from now on.

They have Cookie Monday, Muffin Tuesday, Brownie Wednesday, Cake Thursday, and so on and on because the three LOVE desserts okay

They don’t seem to be affected by sugar, these lucky people.

They joke and play around while they’re baking.

Little twins team up to use the rolling pin, each holding an end

Ardyn’s in charge of putting things in the oven and out of it.

They like to sing and do silly dances while they’re waiting for things in the oven.

Little girls are often dancing on the counter.

The Izunia always end up all covered in dough and flour, but the result is worth it and they eat their desserts together.

Ardyn still adores to dress them up.

He wants them to feel like princesses, both powerful and beautiful, so he takes a lot of time (and love

Nothing that makes them adult, all according to their age, ofc.

Ardyn practiced since they were babies so that when they grew up he could be prepared: hair braiding.

Ardyn likes to braid their hair using colorful ribbons.

RIBBONS. ARDN LOVES TO PUT RIBBONS ON THEM.

Ardyn also loves to let them braid or comb his hair.

As each twin wants to make a braid or tail on him, he assigned a side of his head to each girl.

This always results in Ardyn inevitably getting two ponytails or braids.

For each drawing that little twins make for him, he makes one for each.

They have an entire room just to work as gallery for their drawings.

Ardyn loves to cuddle the heck out of these two.

Twin girls have each chosen one of Papa’s arms for themselves; Twin #1 ‘own’s the left arm and Twin #2 ‘owns’ the right one, so if both go hug papa, they’ll reach for their respective arm to be hugged with.

Ardyn cried dropping them at the entrance.

When twin girls came out, Ardyn immediately brought them in arms and hugged them like he hadn’t seen them in ages and cried on them while cuddling them.

Ardyn still hates everyone but his family, so he hates that somebody else is teaching his kids, so nope, they stay home

The Daemon Family like to mess with the Lucian crown prince and his squad·

Twin girls often pretend they’re lost just to kick Noctis’ leg when he gets close

Noctis you dumbass are you not seeing the lost girls you find are always THE SAME?

The Daemon Family are often stealing Ignis’ baked cookies and desserts.

The Daemon Twins like to mess with poor Prompto who watched too many horror movies that involve little girls, so now these two appear to him when he least expects it just to scare the hell outta him

Prompto hasn’t slept good in two years

The Daemon twins like to jump the rope

They’re two so they often are in charge of swinging the rope while Papa jumps

Papa doesn’t fit in the tiny space

He’s too big

These three have a messed up way of talking because Twin 1 starts a sentence, Ardyn continues it, and Twin 2 finishes it, then they switch the order

They want to confuse you.

Sometimes little girls will burn things just for fun.

Ardyn is proud of them.

Little girls like to rip parts of plush toys off and exchange them so this head goes here instead and this arm here, so they have a lot of Frankenstein toys.

Ardyn thinks they’re far, far better creature-makers than Verstael fool.

Ardyn always gets two birthday cakes, one for each twin.

He’s learning what each twin likes individually, so his gifts are always different for each twin.

He packs the gifts himself with colors each twin likes most.

Sometimes, like they play monster, they play Dragon.

Ardyn can make fire, so he pretends to be a fierce dragon that the twins must defeat (don’t worry, he makes sure the fire makes no harm)

Ardyn always lets them win

That is, after a good ‘fight’, growling, and raspberries.

The pillow fights in this family are majestic.

Ardyn’s bought a ridiculous quantity of pillows just for whenever they enter a pillow fight.

There’s feathers and stuffing everywhere.

Ardyn measures his strenght not to harm any twin by accident

The twins use FULL FORCE on him

Look, it’s three DAEMONS having a pillow fight, that’s pretty normal

Twins are still teaming up for everything, so pillow fights are basically twins vs. Ardyn

Sometimes, the twins hide from Ardyn by hiding under his coat (when he’s not wearing it)

The twins will steal it and drop it on the floor, then hide under it

It’s so BIG and they’re so small that they can go unseen once hidden under all that fabric.

Ardyn knows where they are because of his daemon senses tingling in presence of theirs, but he pretends he has no idea.

It’s ridiculously adorable and it takes all his might not to burst out into “Aaaws” or laughs.

When the twins grow old enough, he stops reading them to sleep, but switches to telling them stories by heart, whether it’s personal experience or a fantasy tale.

No matter how old the girls get, Ardyn will never let one night go without kissing their cheeks.

He often tells them he loves them, and he loves each individually.

He goes to the bed of one twin, kisses her cheeks, laughs a bit with her.

“Goodnight, sweetie. I love you. And I love you.”

The first one is like generally, and second one is personal, emphasized with a poke to the nose.

He goes to the bed of the other twin, kisses her cheeks, laughs as well, and says the same words except with different nickname.

This is so they know he loves them as twins, and personally too.

Sometimes, the little twins will sneak into Ardyn’s bedroom to cuddle with him.

Maybe it’s their daemonic side, but they love how cold Ardyn is despite his endless layers of clothes, so they curl up at his side to fall asleep.

Ardyn has noticed their midnight sneaking, but doesn’t nag them for it.

He loves to sleep with his daughters curled at his sides, so why would he complain about it?

All the love that Ardyn doesn’t feel for the world, he feels it for his daughters.

They are his heart and veins; without them, he has no reasons of existance.

Speaking of existance, his made sense when he had his twins.

Having lived 2000 years until them, oh, it was worth it and beyond that.
