actually to continue the brain rot of the Kryptonian microbiome/changes posts: what if the changes in baseline humans with Kryptonian partners are evidence of an older evolutionary quirk where Kryptonians, as a conquering race of aliens, needed to find sexually and biologically compatible partners on new planets, so the gradual changes in Bruce after hooking up with Clark routinely are because Kryptonian bodies seek to make their partners as similar to them as possible? maybe to protect them during intercourse, maybe to make them more likely to carry young if they're female, etc.

TL;DR: Clark's gut biome makes Bruce more Kryptonian over time in order to protect him and make their mating more likely/sustainable.

Here’s the thing about fate: you always have a choice.

Everyone loves the idea of having one person made just for you, futures intertwined and stories written in the stars. The truth is though…

Nothing is written in stone.

Heck, things written in stone aren’t even permanent - they, too, can easily be washed away by waters and winds and sands or even carved away by man. Permanence does not exist.

Even if there was a person out there for you right now, you are a being constantly in flux, changing every millisecond you exist. Cells are shed, memories are made, your soul is rewritten. The person on the other end of your red line of fate changes too - so what’s not to say that the both of you have paths that eventually diverge?

Sometimes, your person is someone you’ve never even considered - someone who’s been close to you for years and years and years - but it takes you wanting, believing, falling - it takes choice.

It is choice that unraveled the knot from your person and tied it onto the one you chose. Fate might have someone in mind, but darling - it takes more than destiny to hold two people together.

People underestimate how much it fucks you up to be subtly excluded as a kid. I would try to talk to my classmates and be met with disinterest or annoyance. The one friend I had, who I clung to and nodded along to his every word, had other friends he liked just as much or more. And his other friends didn’t care for me at all.

I look back at pictures from the time and see how separated I was from them. I remember knowing I was different. I remember posing questions about the world to the girls playing next to me and realizing that they had never asked the same ones to themselves. That the ways we thought couldn’t be more different.

I kept myself amused with my own fanatical stories and musings in my head. I would wander the playground on a circular path, imagining a friend and being sorely disappointed when it didn’t feel as real as I’d hoped.

There was a bubble separating me from everyone else, thin, and nearly invisible, but with a pearly sheen you could catch under the right conditions. I knew it was there, they knew it was there, and it changed me

October 12, 2024 . Even though I don't post as often as I should about voicing my opinion about the crisis in Palestine , I am a firm believer of non-violence in resolving global conflict.

In both my father and mothers ancestral lands in Europe, they are both from different regions .Genocide, ethnic cleansing, war, exodus from the homeland are something their ancesters had to deal with as did my parents.

On my mothers side , her people don't budge. Hundreds of thousands killed and forced to move by neighbouring occupational forces. Yet they stayed and became assimilated until everything over time worked out. Because the people over the centuries have land ownership.

On my father's side they held on to over 350 years of peace in the middle of war torn Europe . Something can be learned from them , they used money as a weapon of peace.

As one man dealing with a lot of personal issues to overcome, I can only speak up and voice my opinion. Has the Jewish government in Israel tried helping Palestine in the past by helping them financially? The amount of money that they spend on their war machine to solve problems is not working. They should try being a good neighbour and help Palestine build hospitals, roads, schools and work their hardest to get along with their neighbours who are not in a position of wealth like Israel .

Nobody likes to give money away but if the situation calls for it give it a try. Peace might come out of it. It's worth a shot. The war machine is not working against Palestine. The people will never surrender, it's obvious. So maybe Israel can help them out, maybe it might work and they can live side by side without violence.
