there's so little grace given in this social climate (especially online) to allow people to make mistakes and learn and grow, people don't pop out of the womb with a developed sense of ethics, not everyone has grown up in environments with different nuanced perspectives and knows all of the swiftly changing language. Purity culture and queer model minority thinking has basically put people back into boxes of inherent good or evil.
