To summarize: he got hired as Mann. Co's grunt / errand boy alongside Miss Pauling, and he usually just follows her around helping her out with her tasks and stuff. He got hired when he randomly bumped into Miss Pauling at some drug cartel they both happened to be at, and somehow they manged to run away AND bust the cartel together on the same day.

He sometimes have to go talk with the mercs himself instead of Miss Pauling when she's busy, and over time he gets inadvertently sucked into the found family. He can never escape now, he just has to accept his fate.

Since he's technically the youngest out of them all, I think the mercs like to tease him a lot about his age (especially Scout. He is overjoyed he isn't the youngest in the team anymore). They drag him into a lot of their shenanigans, and for once he has to act Iike the straight man in the group because everyone around him is absolutely batshit insane.

Idk why the Pokemon Company hasn't done something like Nintendogs but for Pokemon. Or really just any game that focuses on raising and living with Pokemon in a chill, relaxed environment instead of focusing so much on battling.

Give me a game where I adopt a baby Eevee and get to guide its evolution without battling being involved!

Alright, so this is basically...an art dump for all the pics i drew when i was trying to draft the ending i wanted my Odile looping Au 'Like a Wheel Ever Turning' which...is not even SLIGHTLY how this fic is going to end now, but while figuring that out i still like draw all this and had to do SOMETHING with it.

So figured I'd post it and be like 'hey! fun Odile looping act 5 boss fight vibes not connected to anything else!' since like...that basic IS what they are at this point lol.

The one cool idea i loved that i think is now FIRMLY ditched is the act 5 boss fight starts when Odile uses wish craft to splinter herself into two halves.

The 'old/current' her that is meant to be her coldly logical side, and a younger 'copy' version, which is meant to be the childish irrational side...that is what's stopping her just shutting down the time loop because she can't figure out how to be happy with her friends leaving.

I mean, if you murder the part of you that WANTS the wish to come true, that's basically a 'get out of time loop free card' right? Right! Totally sound logic!

Yes the 'young' version of her firmly believes that she's real, and also also got memories going up to about age 21, and also that she ought to be in Ka Bue not HERE among these french weirdos.

Also yes again, a 'young' Odile is EXACTLY as unhinged about this as you'd expect a 21 year old to be upon finding out that apparently the 'real' her think murdering her is the correct solution to this problem!

The shift of the fight was meant to have the inverse 'colors' shift from one version to the other by the end, wrapping up with the point where the 'original' Odile is forced to have a heart to heart with the personification of her perceived 'worst' qualities.

Pretty sure the vibes for this ending was a lot more focused on the resolution of having deeply complex feeling about EXPRESSING emotion directly to other people. That along with a side helping of how isolating it is to be perceived as a 'real' adult such that you can't be weak enough to ask anyone for help. Because really if you can't even be that then why are you any different then when you were irritating mess of a youth?

Not saying any of that isn't still present in the story, but like...there is a LOT of other stuff going on, and those themes are now linked into many other ones too, and that's not even TOUCHING on how Loop's been...somewhat complicating my redrafting lol.

...Also I might have drawn/plotted this version before i knew about two-hats lol. THAT also is a factor.

Anyway! Still liked all of these enough to want to do SOMETHING with them, and figured this worked, so i could like map out my thoughts on them, even if i never got to write this.

They told me dominance was boring but this season has been so painfully…dull? No glamour, no aura, no vibe. It’s like each race happens in isolation, there’s no cohesion to the season.

Morax looks out into the distance, carefully calm and unmoving.

Overhead, dark clouds churn restlessly. Low rumbling echoes through the air, accompanied by faint reverberations that shake the ground underfoot

Yet is not the sound of storm-thunder as so many mortal denizens of Guili believe it to be, but of battle instead.

Above the frost-sealed mountains where the proud kingdom of Sal Vindagnyr once stood, fierce winds rip through another peak point like a knife tearing through paper, gouging deep into the landscape. But jagged spires of ice burst up to meet the winds, piercing into the eye of the storm fearlessly. For a brief moment, Cryo clashes against Anemo –before both energies disperse and scatter explosively, neither successfully overpowering the other.

There is a brief lull of stillness, but Morax knows that it will not last.

Andrius and Decarabian are bitter enemies warring over the territory to the north. One the Lord of Beasts, and the other the Champion of Men. One allows their children to feast upon humans, while the other executes all beasts without question. It is no wonder that the enmity between them runs deep, and this battle between the two gods was a long time coming.

Andrius has waited many, many years for an opportunity to destroy Decarabian. The disappearance of the Divine Nail over Sal Vindagnyr, coupled with the mysterious absence of Decarabian’s presence… it’s no wonder that Andrius gathered his legions, and attacked.

But Decarabian was not one to be underestimated. The two gods have been battling for nearly a month now, and it does not appear that a victor will be decided anytime soon.

… If anything, their battle is growing ever more vicious, and the area affected by their conflict is expanding. It’s why Morax is here, guarding the borders of Guili’s territory with the yaksha under his command.

In the waters to the east, the waves churn restlessly. As expected, Osial is also observing the battle from the ocean depths.

A piercing howl echoes in the distance. Morax focuses his gaze, and watches as a massive wolf with a vivid cerulean coat leaps through the air, fanged jaws closing over a white-haired child.

But even despite the loss of strength that had forced them into a juvenile form, the God of Storms does not go down easily. There is a single moment where they disappear entirely from sight, and then the wolf that devoured them is shredded into pieces by razor-sharp winds. But instead of flesh and blood, it’s only shards of ice and snow that fall from the sky.

Andrius re-materializes from the ongoing blizzard on another mountaintop. Decarabian tilts their head and turns to face them, blue eyes glowing.

And then the mountain behind them –falls.

An avalanche, and there is no doubt that Andrius is the culprit. In the moment that Decarabian is distracted by scattering the snow that is about to crush them, Andrius’ claws tear through their body; it’s the only thing that Morax is able to see, before Decarabian’s Anemo energy wavers, and they are buried beneath the avalanche together.

Has a victor finally been decided?

Morax can still sense Cryo energy clashing against Anemo, but… there’s no doubt that the Anemo signature is weakening. It appears that Decarabian has finally reached their limit, then. Haagentus and Marchosias would need to be informed about this; the rise of a Beast-King who ruled the northern lands unchallenged would be–

Something in the air shifts.

Morax sucks in a short, sharp breath, “This is…?”

The black clouds hanging over Sal Vindagnyr darken even further, almost seeming to tremble beneath an invisible force.

Then, massive bolts of lightning hurtle down from the heavens all at once in a veritable flood of light.
