I remembered your idea about Grimmjow mentoring Izuku and I have world building/background.
Grimm got to the bnha universe because some idiots were trying to summon a demon to kill some heroes and since there aren't any in universe the magic spell outsourced. The idiots did not survive their stupidity. Grimm is really annoying because he's pretty sure it's going to take at least a year to get home.
Finding and starting to teach Izuku delayed his plans, but not by too much. Grim figures he'll just wait for the kid to die and bring Izuku's soul back with him. Classic Arrancar adoption tactics.
Inko is a little uncomfortable with a demon adopting her son with a plan of making him another demon, but honestly Izuku's just so happy these days that she's cool with it. She does the paperwork to make Grim a distant relative.
People in the bnha universe don't really have reiatsu but they still have souls. Grim just has to teach izuku to reform his soul so it's bleach style instead. He's pretty sure that any of the many mad scientists he knows would tell him it's impossible, but izuka did it anyways so there.
For paperwork they claim that it's a family inherited work that is super finicky and requires a lot of control and often doesn't activate without life or death danger or knowing how to activate it beforehand. Which it is true, using reiatsu for stuff more complicated than "be stronger and hardier," let alone kidou, takes decades of learning. Even if hollow style kidou is easier to learn, it's not by that much. Grim mostly focuses Izuku on learning the basics of combat and maybe sonido.
Izuku ends up good at kicking people in the face like canon, but he also has throwing knives and a tanto to complete the danger gremlin evolution.
He kicks Bakugou in the face and breaks his nose. Their relationship isn't great but it's not as awful as in cannon.
Grimmjow is setting up connections with the villain community one day when he hears about some mysterious, powerful fucker called All For One. He hasn't eaten in a while, and that seems like someone no one will miss so he eats out for the day. The villain underground immediately falls into chaos but that isn't his problem.
Coincidentally, Inko's deadbeat husband finally stopped sending money. (Whether he's AfO or just some asshole who died in the chaos is up to you.) She shrugs and moves on. She saved and invested most money he gave them anyways.
Grim ends up running a dojo. First he just needs space to teach Izuku but I firmly believe that despite his general misanthropic tendencies he actually likes kids, so the whole thing balloons pretty fast. He ends up with this weird teenager who calls himself Dabi as an assistant, since the kid already knew how to fight pretty well.
With an actual support system Dabi ends up significantly less burned and significantly more sane. He works as a vigilante, killing marital and child abusers. He's really uncertain about what to do about Endeavor, because he wants to kill him but the man also scares the shit out of him, and he doesn't want to free his siblings just to put them in the spotlight. Grimmjow is less than zero help, but Inko gives him a big hug and helps him start to set up a legal case if that's what he decides to do. He's like Izuku's weird, obnoxious older cousin.
Speaking of the lov, Kurogiri got out and took Shigaraki with him when AfO died. They end up picking up the rest of the league overtime. All the kids try to convince Kurogiri to reach back out to his friends from when he was Oboro. They might or might not be vigilantes.
What are you talking about, this isn't a fix it fic.
The UA staff are deeply baffled when they meet Izuku's guardians: the sweetest little lady you ever did meet and what Aizawa is pretty sure is an actual, literal demon from hell. In hindsight, though, it makes sense.
Thank you for the idea! Sorry for shoving this thing in your inbox.
Never apologize because this is fantastic.

Kinkmas Day 9: God kink
Paring: Sosuke Aizen x male reader
This guy
Warnings: Kissing, degradation, blowjob, creampie, not much foreplay or aftercare, sex on Aizen's throne, reader is particularly twinky, obsessed reader, pet kink, God kink DUH
Part 2?
Word count: 1751
To say that you were surprised when you heard you were called to see Lord Aizen himself was a vast understatement. You were simply a mere human that he happened to have found and taken attraction to, so he took you with him, luckily being one of the rare people who can see soul reapers, and you agreed because if a hot god guy wants to take you with him, are you supposed to say no.
The reason for your surprise was that ever since you went with him, he hasn't so much as said a single word to you. He just gave you a room and sent someone to feed you every now and then, not that you were complaining, being able to roam what was essentially a whole ass castle. The arrancar were also very kind to you because how amazing you are and if someone disagrees then they might be right, idk.
So, you were actually pretty complacent with your life, as it was, though you would like to see the guy you completely changed your life for a little more often. Though I guess gods have more important shit to do than hang out with lowly humans such as yourself, it would still be nice to be acknowledged.
Suddenly, you were brought back to reality and out of your mind when you saw doors leading to Aizen's throne room. They were cartoonishly big, so much so that you couldn't even open them. I guess the Espada don't really have a problem with this because of the superpowers or whatever.
While you were attempting to open the doors Grimmjow happened to walk by.
"What the fuck are you doing?" He asked, lightly snickering at your failed attempts at opening, to him, a normal door.
"Trying to get this door open." You replied, still pushing with all of your might, not even budging it.
"Need some help?" He questioned.
"No, I almost got it." You declined, still not moving it at all.
"Let me help you." He said, pushing the door open with ease.
"Thank you, my lord." You said, bowing in front of him.
"That's really not necessary, just helping you so I hopefully get something in return." He stated, giving you a wink.
You blow it off as him just being friendly, though a light blush still appears on your face. Though you still blow it off, walking in to Aizen's throne room, fucking finally.
Aizen greets you with a wide smirk, happy that he can now play with his little pet. You walk up to him, taking a while due to the dramatically long room. You bow before him, head down as mere mortals like you should probably not look in the eyes of such a higher being.
He laughs at your formalness and pats his thigh.
"Here," he demanded, his voice clear and strong while still remaining calm and gentle. You're utterly confused, and it is very affluent on your face. He doesn't talk or so much as be in the same room as you for weeks and suddenly wants you on his lap, not that you're mad, just confused.
Though you still follow his orders, attempting to get up on the large throne, attempt being the operative word here, as you fail trying to get up. He laughs at your incompetence and just picks you up, putting you on his lap cross sided.
"I wanted to finally talk to you, I'm sure you've wanted to do the same." He exclaimed, petting your head while doing so, which you thought was weird but didn't give any more attention than that.
"Oh, hell yes." You accidently let out; tone littered with desperation. Shit, shit, shit, now he probably thinks you're a weird clingy weirdo who's just thirsty for any dick you can find, which is true, but you still don't want him thinking that.
He laughs at your outburst, responding by kissing you. You were shocked, but you still kissed him back. His lips are rough yet still have a very relaxing feel. His hand runs through your hair, softly brushing it with his fingers as he puts his tongue on your closed lips, in which you immediately grant access.
You didn't know what you were feeling, joy, excitement, confusion, shock, anger, sorrow, they all blend together as the first thing he's done with you is put you on his lap and start to kiss you.
He breaks the kiss, lips leading down to your neck, easily finding and then kissing your sensitive spots. He then begins to leave love bites, licking them over after they form.
"You might be the luckiest person ever," he stated flatly, "being able to have a God such as myself who chooses you and only you for his mate."
A weird sense of relief washed over when he said, "you and only you", the thought of him having multiple other lovers has come up to you before, but you didn't care much then because you haven't done anything with him up until now.
He stops his assault on your neck, opting to take off your shirt and suck on your already erect nipples instead.
"You probably don't deserve this much attention from me, aren't I so kind as to offer it to you." He said, his voice so calming it could put you to sleep were it not for his touch.
"Yes Lord Aizen, you are the kindest person on earth to give such attention to a lowly mortal like me." You thanked,
"My are you obedient, I think I made the right choice." He said, the same feeling that you felt before coming back. He returns to suck on your right nipple while twisting his fingers on your left. Never have you felt such pleasure outside of pure sex.
He takes it up another notch, taking off his clothes lightly while instantly following up with ripping yours off, doing both actions so quick you couldn't even see.
This is your first time seeing his cock and holy shit are you not disappointed. It is quite long while also having a good deal of girth, having a perfect balance of both. It also has a surprisingly large bush for a man like him. He notices your eyes focusing on his burly dick.
"Impressed." He, not even being a question.
"Absolutely Lord Aizen." You replied anyway.
"Why don't you show me how much you love it?" He said, eyes gesturing towards his penis. You give him a quizzical look for a second before realizing what he's talking about.
You prop yourself up on his throne, his lap large enough to where you can get on your knees. You start off slowly, pumping his member with your hand, giving his tip a little lick every now and then, but you can tell that he wants more.
You let go of his dick, opting instead to give light kisses all over it, giving it the attention and love that it deserves. You switch to licks and then to eventually putting the tip in your mouth.
You lightly suck on just the tip until Aizen shoves you head done the rest of his cock, your nose in his pubes. You take it the rest of the way, moving your head up and down his shaft slowly, getting used to how it feels in your mouth.
You start to move faster, sucking his cock up and down, tears accumulating in the corner of your eyes from how big it is, in which Aizen kindly wipes off with his thumb for you.
His moans become really evident when you use your tongue, sliding it along the bottom of his shaft, you also use your hand to play with his balls.
"Fuck your good." He praised the compliment, giving you extra motivation to make him cum, which is exactly what he does.
You graciously accept his cum that shoots down his throat, swallowing every last drop. He opens your mouth just to make sure you did.
"Good job, now for the main course." He said, setting you right above the same cock you just sucked. He gives you one final kiss before slowly setting you on to his dick, not wanting to ruin his brand-new favorite servant.
You grip on to his muscular bare chest so you don't fall over, his girth feeling like it's going to split you open. He kisses, trying to calm you down, which works to some extent but still not enough to get it just halfway through.
After what feels like forever, he finally is balls deep inside you.
"Good job taking me all in, it seems like it's a perfect fit." He said, giving a kiss on the forehead. "Now let's see what it feels like when I start moving."
He stays still for a while, waiting for you to adapt to his size before moving. He starts off slow, not wanting to rip you in half, which is very possible with his size.
He starts to pick up the speed once he thinks you're ready enough for him to start moving for real. His pace and force of his thrusts both increase steadily. You moan loudly, barely being able to take it. it.
"You get the dick of a God in your tight ass, you're very honored." He stated.
"Thank you so much Lord Aizen, I love your big dick inside me." You whined between moans.
That's enough to send him over the edge, thrusting lifting you up rapidly and forcing you back down, his hips meeting halfway, he truly is a perfect being.
He really is using you as his own personal sex toy to use and abuse with how he's thrusting into you, but he is still caring about your sexual needs, occasionally sucking, biting, and licking your perked up nipples. His large body totally manhandles you, effortlessly lifting and slamming you on his dick.
You don't last much longer, one last lick on your left nipple is enough for you to cum, hard. He continues to bound into you, releasing not long after you, cumming right inside you.
He keeps his dick inside you; you notice but you don't care enough to react, drifting off into sleep in your Lord's arms. Though before you do you feel him kiss both of your cheeks, then he lays a flurry of kisses on your forehead, watching you peacefully rest in his grasp.
"I am absolutely not letting you go."
THE END

hand feeding the espada food from the human world. i’m talking every now and then new culture cuisine like korean, italian, chinese, greek all that. who would like that kind of thing
Starrk — He's perfectly content to try whatever you give him. It's not like Hollows have much of a chance to eat things other than each other, so this isn't a bad arrangement at all. The hand-feeding part makes it even better, and a full stomach coupled with all the attention usually has him dozing off before the offered meal is done.
Halibel — She starts out not wanting you to see her eat— because her mask has to retract for anything to reach her mouth, Halibel isn't anticipating a positive reaction to that sight. It shows a staggering amount of trust for you to put your fingers near those jaws, and the food really comes second to the affection you're showing like that.
Ulquiorra — Although he'll try to protest the treatment, insisting that Hollows have no need for human nourishment, Ulquiorra doesn't actually put up much resistance. Since he's surprisingly sensitive to tastes, you'll have to be careful with what you give him, but he finds himself looking forward to the regular treats before long.
Nnoitra — He's going to resist it for as long as possible. There's no reason to give him human food. He doesn't need it. He doesn't deserve it, and you're naive for even offering. If you do get him to allow it, Nnoitra is visibly uncomfortable. The comfort of a full stomach is wasted on a Hollow, and the spoiling is worse.
Grimmjow — Once you start a habit of offering food, Grimmjow isn't going to let it stop. He's been starving for as long as he can remember, and the feeling of real food in his stomach and flavor on his tongue is one of the best things he's ever experienced. He gets greedy for the treats quickly, though he tries not to act desperate.
Szayel — He definitely enjoys it. Szayel is weak to things that feel good, and the indulgence of flavor and fullness is pure bliss. It takes some time to get over his pride, but eating out of your hand turns out to be a show of trust and affection that's somehow safe to allow. And he'll have plenty of input about which cuisines to try next.
Aaroniero — That kind of treatment feels far too intimate. A Hollow's existence revolves around struggling not to starve, so the offering of regular food, fed directly from your hand, is practically a targeted attack. And beyond that, even once he's certain you're not mocking him, Aaroniero doesn't want you to see how he eats.

I had this random fan fic idea
(Mentions of dark topics, such as rape, sexism, sexual harassment, also smoking)
(Also, I intended the reader to be f!reader)
So I have been getting back into bleach and ofc started simping as usual, because there's no one on this god forsaken app that doesn't simp for a fiction character
Anyways
I had this idea for Shūhei Hisagi, Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez , and Shinji hirako. All pinning for the reader, and in a sort of mafia au and during like 1910s or 1920s ( I took inspiration from the movie "Monster in Paris" and the undertale comic "Sooner or later you're gonna be mine" ) also non-soul reaper, hollow, etc, basically everyone is human and doesn't have powers / abilities au
The reader is a young singer. She just sings on stage, sometimes have dinner with men that payed extra to not only see her sing but have dinner with her, then goes home. The reader also usually wears very revealing dresses since "That's what the audience wants" the owner words not hers.
One day she was singing doing her usual gigs, and she catches the attention of three men
Shūhei Hisagi, a regular average hard-working man, there's nothing special about him, always usually in the background, forgotten
Shinji hirako, somewhat of a hobo, he usually wears the weirdest outfits ever and says that "They're luxury, you wouldn't understand" while lived inside of his car as a "luxury" man, he's a deliver driver and a womanizer. He is also friends with the reader. every time he makes a delivery to the restaurant, the reader sings at, they hang out sometimes, they have that teasing relationship, always bullying each other.
Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, a gang member, he's apart of the mafia that is ofc led by Aizen. He is a debt collector
I thought like the fic would start as the reader getting ready for her performance, she sings, then gets back into her causal 1910s clothing and as she is ready to leave a man blocks her way, basically the man hits on her and the reader politely asks the man that she isn't interested, then the man trys to rape the reader but lucky Shūhei walks in and ends up saving the reader, after that whole situation Shūhei ends up offering the reader a walk back home, just to make sure she gets home safely. They walk to the reader home, and the reader offers Shūhei dinner to pay him back for saving them. Shūhei says he can't right now. He has work tomorrow morning, so they plan a "date" together, and they finally say their goodbyes. While Shūhei walks away with the biggest goofy smile on his face.
The next morning, where the reader lives, near the big rich cities. Where the reader lives isn't a poor part of the city, but the middle ok part, they can afford some stuff but barely making it by. They have a protection fee from the Mafia that "owns" her town area. People have to pay the protection fee or else they'll have problems with the mafia. Reader hears that there is a new debt collector. Later, the reader meets Grimmjow. Grimmjow asked Aizen to transfer to a new location, saying that he was bored of the location he has been staying that (it was a lie, he went to the singing gig for a business meeting with aizen, and fell in love with the reader at first sight, and wanted to see her more) Grimmjow introduces himself to the reader, saying that he was their new debt collector and brags about himself, the reader is uncomfortable. Especially when Grimmjow says stuff like, "A fragile woman like you needs a big strong man like me to keep you safe. After all, you can't do much with that soft body of yours. " Grimmjow has a hard time with love. He often comes out as very sexist and often sexual harass the reader.
This is like later in the story Shūhei and the reader has been on multiple "dates," but like not officially together, in a relationship. Which causes problems. They have an argument about it, and the reader starts ignoring shuhei. One day, the reader is sitting behind the restaurant she works at, having a smoke break. Shinji makes another delivery to the restaurant. Reader vents to Shinji that she has a lot of guy problems, like not knowing if she wants to be with shuhei or not, and grimmjow always harassing her. Also, she says along the lines, "I hate men...sorry Shinji." Shinji relying back, "I know we're not the greatest. It's not your fault." The reader says how she wants to run away from everything. Everything has become too much for her. Shinji offers the reader that opportunity, well, more like a vacation he later retracts. The reader takes that offer. She and Shinji go on a bit of a road trip, just getting out of the city for a while
That's all I have for now, I don't exactly have an ending for this, so you can just imagine whatever. Sorry if the writing sucks, I just wanted to pour my creative out there for anyone who wants it (which I doubt)
If you have made it this far, thank you for reading

How about the Espada with a reader who is a fashion designer and loves making clothes for their partner? Thanks ❤️
Starrk adores the pajamas you gift him! Generally, anything that's made with soft enough fabric.
Harribel proudly wears the outfits you craft for her, grateful that you always keep in mind she's not human (which means you don't mind making more clothes when hers tear apart). As a result, you'll have her fraction wanting for some outfits too, and I picture all of them pretty happy with the results!
Ulquiorra callously tells you he doesn't need more clothes. He already owns several items. However, he uses a green scarf you made for him when he visits you in the human world. And the jacket you gifted him lays where he rests in Heco Mundo. No, it's not a nest. It's just where he sleeps.
Nnoitra: Laughs at your face for even bringing it up. Good luck making something that fits him. When you do, he questions why you put so much effort into this. Nnoitra most likely will tear everything you make in battles. With time, he might appreciate the effort.
Grimmjow: Thinks it's stupid, and it embarrasses him at first. However, as you make clothes more suitable to his style, Grimmjow begins to let it slip. He wears what you make for him (and is secretly grateful because he tends to tear his clothes in battle a lot).
Szayel: Once you get him into it, there's no going back. He's your best client! Except he doesn't pay you and never promotes your work -I mean how could he, being an Espada, right? Wait a sec… are you his personal tailor? Shit. Well, at least he loves it and he looks good in cloaks!

A long, very GrimmUlqui-flavored post
Got inspired by this post, but I want to illustrate it with manga panels and also share some of my thoughts and impressions.
I've read many grimmulqui fanfics and I noticed that authors often portray their relationship similarly. If we talk about Ulquiorra's portrayal, he's always really rude towards Grimmjow and doesn't hesitate to insult him, calling him any degrading names you could think about, of course, including his favorite word "trash". And that's not a hate nor a critique of the authors, but I always thought that it was kinda a bit too much and not really accurate.
At first, I thought that way because Ulquiorra never called Grimmjow "trash" in canon (moreover, he didn't call "trash" any arrancar, only humans, like Ichigo, Orihime, Chad, Tatsuki). But it seems Ulquiorra never insulted Grimmjow AT ALL, which HE DID with other arrancars and with pretty much everyone, except Aizen.
Yammy was his companion when we saw Ulquiorra for the first time, and it's obvious that they weren't friends because Ulquiorra didn't believe in such things as friendship or bonds between two individuals. But at least they weren't antagonistic towards each other. Yammy was willing to follow Ulquiorra's orders, never questioning Cuatro's decisions and respecting him.
However, it seems that this feeling wasn't mutual. Not that Ulquiorra hated him, but he expressed constant annoyance with almost all of Yammy's words or actions and didn't hesitate to show it.
"Stop complaining", "idiot", "fool", "your tantrums", rolling eyes. It's really a lot of insults for such a short interaction between them.
Of course, you could say that's natural, given the difference in their personalities. But then we get Grimmjow's first appearance, and Ulquiorra's reactions were really, really different.
Grimmjow isn't Yammy. He isn't respectful or obedient; he hardly showed any respect towards Aizen and certainly didn't hesitate to disrespect his fellow Espadas. Ulquiorra had all the reasons to be much more annoyed with him than he was with Yammy, but what do we actually see? He didn't react at all.
He was calm and collected, patiently answering Grimmjow's questions, and wasn't showing even an ounce of annoyance.
No rolled eyes, nothing. Despite the fact that Grimmjow interrupted his report and literally called Ulquiorra weak, TWICE. It could be explained that he didn't want to provoke Grimmjow and be involved in a stupid fight in front of Aizen, but he was silent even in his thoughts.
Next time we see them interacting, we get a famous moment that inspired a lot of shippers, and no wonder why.
Ulquiorra needed to stop Grimmjow from releasing his zanpakuto, and once again, he was perfectly calm, didn't do anything to harm Grimmjow (contrary to the way how he stopped Yammy), didn't call him "idiot" or "trash". Just one careful touch, and that's all.
Grimmjow and Yammy were the only arrancars with whom Ulquiorra interacted multiple times, having actual conversations. But there was also Nnoitra, who talked with him once about Orihime, and Ulquiorra treated him differently compared to both Grimmjow and Yammy. He mostly seemed calm, but I would say that Nnoitra's words irritated him a little, and actually, even Nnoitra noticed it.
The rest of their conversation went fine, and it seemed that they separated on good terms. However, guess what? In the end, Nnoitra wasn't lucky enough to avoid being insulted by our emo when he disobeyed Aizen's orders.
Nnoitra's actions had nothing to do with Ulquiorra; he wasn't ordered to look after Chad and wasn't responsible for other Espadas' decisions. But the mere act of disobedience was enough to make Ulquiorra resort to insults. You might argue: "Of course, he reacted like that because Ulquiorra was sure that everyone should be rational and respect Aizen". But guess who else wasn't rational, who disrespected all the orders, and, unlike Nnoitra, directly put Ulquiorra at risk of failing to fulfill Aizen-sama's wishes?
Who else could it be? Of course, it was Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez. We all know that he saved Orihime from Loly and Menoly because he needed her to heal Ichigo. From Ulquiorra's perspective, he did two stupid things at once: took away the girl who was Ulquiorra's responsibility and healed the enemy whom Ulquiorra had just beaten. Certainly, those are the actions of someone with whom you should feel not just annoyed, but actually angered. But what was Ulquiorra's first reaction when he saw that Orihime was no longer in her room?
I think everyone agrees that it was much more serious than Nnoitra beating Chad, but apparently not serious enough for Ulquiorra to finally call Grimmjow the words he actually deserved to be called.
He quickly found Grimmjow, asked him the reason why he did all of that, including healing the enemy, but didn't get any satisfying answer.
In the result, Grimmjow managed to outsmart him, fully aware that otherwise Ulquiorra would take Orihime back, and he would lose his chance to beat Ichigo. However, once again, it was strange that Ulquiorra wasn't willing to confront Grimmjow or say all that he thought about his stupidity and irresponsibility— to just beat his ass and teach him a lesson. Instead, he wanted to convince him to return Orihime and peacefully part ways, without any consequences.
Isn't it a significant difference compared to his usual behavior? Fans often say that Ulquiorra didn't feel any emotions, but the manga showed multiple times that he knew how it is to experience anger and annoyance, not just with arrancars but also with humans. For some reason, only Grimmjow seemed to be his "soft spot". Despite the possible explanations that he avoided an unnecessary fight to prevent Grimmjow from becoming a huge pain in the ass, I feel that there should be something else—something that happened between those two in the past that Kubo didn't think was necessary to show us, or perhaps it lacked screen-time.
And I also don't believe that Grimmjow felt nothing but hate towards Ulquiorra; his behavior and his words hinted at something else too. From the fact that he observed Ulquiorra long enough to notice his habits to him screaming, "Ulquiorra, you're afraid to fight because we'll kill each other". It's possible to say more about it, but I will just add the link to this post; the author said it all perfectly
I know that the manga ended eight years ago, with Ulquiorra being dead even longer, but it's confirmed that Kubo didn't reveal many important things, like Rukia's true origins or Urahara and Yoruichi's backstory. These are characters more important than Ulquiorra and Grimmjow, yet, we still don't know everything about them. And no one could convince me that the GrimmUlqui dynamic wasn't supposed to be much more developed and nuanced compared to the interactions we actually got; not just "Grimm hates Ulqui and vice versa, and they want to tear each other's throats". It leaks and shows even through the smallest hints and crumbs! And it makes me want to think about all the possible scenarios, imagining a whole-ass novel with their adventures, the scenario when Grimmjow found Ulquiorra in the desert and brought him to the palace; picturing them going on missions together, and so on.

Has Ichigo ever had any individual monologues or thoughts about Orihime like he has with Rukia? Has he ever specifically singled her and her importance on his life out? Besides the "I will protect her" moment which I know was absolutely about Orihime. Signed, an Ichiruki who doesn't hate Orihime and likes Ichihime a tad but wants a different take other than from other Ichiruki shippers.
Nope. And I think that was deliberate on Kubo's part.
Because Ichigo's feelings for Orihime were supposed to be hidden, they were supposed to be a secret, a mystery that the reader was meant to figure out over time, rather than being spoon-fed a quick and easy "I love Orihime" monologue. I believe Kubo chose to show, not tell when it came to Ichigo's feelings for Orihime. Which makes for so much better and interesting writing.
It was "safe" to share with the reader Ichigo's thoughts about Rukia (or Chad, or Ishida, or whoever else) in monologues, because his thoughts about her weren't romantic; he could monologue about her being important in his life, because that was absolutely true, but there wasn't anything deeper than that in a romantic sense. There weren't any hidden feelings for her that Kubo risked unveiling if we delved into his thoughts. So there was no fear of spoiling the ending of "who will end up with who?" or feeling the need to pair people up too early once feelings have been confirmed on both sides (and Kubo said he purposely waited until the end to pair the couples up).
We read Ichigo's thoughts about Rukia, and what did we learn? That it was all platonic! He never expressed any feelings of romance in those monologues. His motivations and reasoning were made clear.
While Orihime...? We had *no idea* what he was thinking about when it came to her. Kubo purposely kept it hidden. He could have been thinking anything (😏😉🤫) because we just didn't know. And not knowing left the door wide open for the possibility of him having feelings for her.
We could only make inferences based off of his actions, the way he acted towards her and around her, and pick up on the patterns over time, how it all pointed to his purposely hidden feelings for her.
You can see it in the way his usual prickly disposition softens around her, the way his enemies target her more than anyone else just to get to him, the blind rage when his enemies taunt him about her, his all-out panic when he thinks she's in danger, how flustered he gets when people tease him about her, the depression when he realized she was abducted, the puppy dog eye way he looks at her when he realizes she's okay again.
You see him looking at her with relief whenever she cries and thanks him for being okay after a battle, you see his shoulders sag with guilt as he apologizes for failing to protect her, you see him bowing before her when he makes the vow to protect, grinning as he tells Grimmjow he's not allowed to get hurt anymore because Orihime said so, rising up from the dead for her, getting stronger when she's near him in the gamespace, the rage when Tsukishima calls her on the phone in front of him, the devastation in his eyes when she heals Tsukishima's arm, the trust he feels in asking her to go two-to-one against Yhwach.
You never hear him thinking about any of this--not once. But you don't need to. It all became so obvious over time.

Here's a Bleach ask for you, what do you make of the relationship between Ichigo and Grimmjow during the arrancar arc and the narrative value of their dynamic?
Grimmjow's relationship with Ichigo is one of the best written character rivalries in the series, because much like Uluiorra he's a near perfectly crafted foil and jungian shadow of Ichigo. The only difference really between his foiling between Grimmjow, and his foiling between Ulquiorra is that the confrontation between Grimmjow helps Ichigo grow, while his relationship with Ulquiorra is entirely destructive and stunts his growth for a long time after the fact.
1. Hail to the king, baby.
Grimmjow isn't just Ichigo's enemy, he practically is Ichigo under different circumstances, the similarities betwen them run so deep. My greatest evidence for this of course is how much Grimmjow's motivations and actions resemble that of Hichigo / Zangetsu, the literal mirror to Ichigo's soul made up of his repressed desires.
Grimmjow's words, reflect Hichigo's words, which reflect Ichigo's words as well. Hichigo tries to assume control of Ichigo's body, because he believes Ichigo lacks both the desire and resolve to win because he is too afraid of internal desires like Zangetsu and has suppressed them.
Grimmjow's desire to become king, reflects Hichigo's speech about the horse and the king, that if he doesn't rule over his own emotions, that if he doesn't use his power to win then he won't be king anymore and will be ruled by someone else. As much as it seems to be deviating away from Ichigo's true goal of protecting his friends to care more about winning fights then the action of protection, Ichigo also can't help or protect anyone if he is too insecure or too unwilling to fight with everything he has.
Grimmjow also much like HIchigo, only exists in the first place because he is a strong enough Gillian that he retained his personality by consuming all of the other Gillian around him, and was able to maintain himself. He is similiar to Hichigo, and the hollow part of Ichigo's soul in general, suddenly born in emptiness given intelligence and the only way to maintain that intelligence is to fight. A smaller part of a greater whole, threatening to consume Ichigo from the inside out if he does not rule him. If Grimmjow does not fight and eat other hollows, he'll just stop existing. If Ichigo is too weak and dies, then HIchigo will stop existing as well, which is why he will hijack the body in crisis situations and soemtimes even believes he could do a better job fighting than Ichigo could.
Grimmjow and Hichigo both desire to become king, to dominate others through their power, and it's not just a selfish desire for power that fuels this, they need to fight and win in order to survive. This is also not an entirely selfish desire on Grimmjow's part, because for instance Ichigo also wants to win. The only way he can protect his friends is to gain strength and win, otherwise he's useless. Hollows are apparently empty creatures without emotions and yet Grimmjow was the king over subordinates and apparently a good enough leader that they were all willing to sacrifice their lives for him.
Which is the precise moment that Grimmjow becomes a darker reflection for Ichigo's character, because Ichigo may desire to win, he may desire to be king, but that selfish desire is also balanced by the selflessness that he mainly uses that power for the others around him. Contrast this to Grimmjow who having lost those subjects by having consumed everything around him, he has no real reason to be king.
Having no connection to the world around him, Grimmjow seeks to die by Ichigo's blade rather than just suffer the humiliation of the loss to him, because fighting is literally the only thing he has to give his life worth and meaning.
Each Hollow represents an aspect / means of death, and Grimmjow's death is by destruction. Despite his desire to be king and ruler, he has effectively lived his life (Unlife?) by destroying everything around him until there is nothing left, and there is no end to that path except self-destuction.
When Ichigo stops him despite the fact they are mortal enemies, despite the fact Soul Reapers live to fight Hollows (though, they don't kill them, quincies do but killing hollows and eradiacting their existence has always been bad, Soul Reapers have a duty to cleanse them so they can return to the cycle of souls), it's a healthy move on Ichigo's part because he's telling both Grimmjow and himself that there's more to life than just battle, and that living to fight another day is more important than dying out of shame for the loss.
2. Howling
Grimmjow functions as a jungian shadow to Ichigo as much as Zagnetsu does, he is just externalized rather than internalized. There's a rich dirge of symbolism to how Grimmjow represents the primal, repressed part of Ichigo's mind that he does not see.
To explain what a Jungian Shadow is briefly.
Jung regarded the shadow as unconscious—id and biography—suppressed under the superego's ego-ideal.[12] The shadow is projected onto one's social environment as cognitive distortions. Contrary to a Freudian definition of shadow, the idea can include everything outside the light of consciousness and may be positive or negative. Because a subject can repress awareness or conceal self-threatening aspects of the self, consensus of the idea of the shadow that it is a negative function in the self, despite the extent of the repression failing to prohibit these aspects.[16] There are positive aspects that can remain hidden in one's shadow—especially in people with low self-esteem, anxieties, and false beliefs—with these aspects being brought to the conscious mind and exercised through analysis and therapy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadow_(psychology)
Ichigo is incredibly repressed, his struggle throughout the series is to try to make sense and find balance within the several different parts of his soul, his quincy self, his soul reaper self, his human self, his hollow self. Zangetsu similiarly not simply Ichigo's evil side, but rather a mix of the traits he has repressed both good and bad. For example, as much as Zangetsu sometimes threatens to hijack Ichigo's body, he also does so out of love because Ichigo cares more about protecting others whereas the one Zangetsu wants to protect most of all is Ichigo.
The shadow isn't just repressed desires though, it's also theorized by Jung to be constructed of our instincts.
Jung construed [...] the personal shadow, [as] a biological and biographical shadow unique to each person, consisting of whatever innate instincts and transpersonal potentials we have suppressed in the course of adapting to society, along with archaic and traumatic memories [of the unconscious]. [...] The personal shadow is rooted in the shadow of our social group, which has moulded our ego-ideal and world view[.] Humphrey, Caroline (2015). "Shadows Along the Spiritual Pathway".
Instinct, is not only what Zangetsu says that Ichigo is lacking and why he can't master his hollow self or be the king.
Grimmjow is also, literally an animal. He's a big kitty. Hollows rip off their masks to take more human forms, and then when they release their swords return to the shape of the animals they began as. Grimmjow's motivations are almost pure animal instinct, fight, kill, eat, survive.
There is so much jungian symbolism in bleach it isn't even funny, Tarot is made up of Jungian ideas, and the tarot card that has the most in common with a jungian shadow is the moon.
One of the biggest symbols of the moon card is the dual image of the dog and the wolf, howling up at the moon. The dog is the domesticated animal, the wolf the undomesticated primal instinct. The dog the disciplined part of our conscious mind we are in controll of, the wolf the unconscious mind made up of what we cannot see and cannot control.
The Moon represents your fears and illusions and often comes out when you are projecting fear into your present and your future, based on your past experiences. You may have a painful memory that caused emotional distress, and rather than dealing with the emotions you pushed them down deep into your subconscious. Now, these emotions are making a reappearance, and you may find yourself under their influence on a conscious or subconscious level.
And, what does Zangetsu translate to?
Zangetsu (斬月, Slaying Moon) is the manifested spirit of Ichigo Kurosaki's Zanpakutō as well as his inner Hollow. Getsuga Tenshō (月牙天衝, Moon Fang Heaven-Piercer; Viz "Moon-Fang Piercer of the Heavens") is a Zanpakutō technique of Ichigo Kurosaki's Zangetsu and Isshin Kurosaki's Engetsu.
Ichigo's zanpakuto is literally named after the fact that he uses his literal repressed shadow in order to fight against his opponent, and Zangetsu takes the form more often than not, of Ichigo's reflection. Ichigo's internal world is literally an empty city over an ocean where half the city is above the ocean and half is bellow it. It's not subtle, ya'll.
Grimmjow represents how those internal fears and anxieties are a part of Ichigo. They are one in the same the domesticated dog, and the wolf. Ichigo is the king as a man, Grimmjow is the king of beasts. As I said they even have the same desire, Ichigo's desire to win is for the sake of bringing his comrades home, whereas Grimmjow's desire to win is inspired by the fact his comrades believed in him so much they were literally willing to lay down their lives and let him eat them.
Grimmjow reflects all those aspects positive and negative, he is also just in general, an ID character.
The id is the animal part of the personality, an unconscious drive to have lots of sex, survive, and thrive. It urges you to push in and eat your weight in cake. The ego is where the conscious mind lives. It's lumbered with the tricky job of satisfying the id's wild desires in a realistic and socially acceptable way.
Hunger is the word for Grimmjow, his hollow hole is literally in his stomach, his tragic backstory is he had to kill and eat his own allies, he's modeled after a panther which is a predator at the top of the food chain. However, these are also all things Ichigo needs to survive. Hichigo says as much, he needs an insatiable hunger, a ravenous bloodlust... and the id may seem selfish but if we don't eat we can't live. Just like how Ichigo's way of defeating Zangetsu is to admit to those desires that both Zangetsu and Grimmjow represents. He is once again, stabbed straight through the stomach, the same place where Grimmjow's hole is.
The only thing that gives him the strength is his desire to have his sword back and not have it get taken away from him, Zaraki of all people appears in his mind and tells him that he has a very selfish desire to keep on getting into fights and getting stronger (much like Grimmjow) however it's not entirely negative because once again Ichigo needs this killer instinct withint himself in order to win, because winning is living.
Ichigo's greatest moment of character grwoth in the fight comes when he uses his strength not only to protect Orihime, but to proect himself, the same way Hichigo does not want him to die, Orihime does not want to see him hurt, and that moment strikes Ichigo's growth.
Which is once again just how positive Ichigo and Grimmjow's relationship is, that it's only by facing Grimmjow Ichigo is pushed to learn these things about himself, only by accepting someone like Grimmjow can he accept the more negative aspects of his own self and grow past them rather than succumbing to him.

Headcannons: Grimmjow
here are a few questions that I found on the Internet a long time ago. I can't sleep right now, so I'm writing this. enjoy, I guess
(neither the character nor the art belong to me. thanks to the author of the art for such a wonderful work)
What does their bedroom look like?
Considering that he doesn't have his own corner, it's hard to judge. Despite the fact that he is called King Hueco Mundo, he does not have a permanent place of residence or he never stays there of his own free will. But if he had his own room, it would be as simple as possible. Everything you need, no small things and special decor
Favorite way to waste time and feelings associated with wasting time.
Categorically does not like to waste time. When he has nothing to do, he gets bored and usually does a lot of stupid things, which of course he never regrets later. He believes that everything he does cannot be regarded as a waste of time. You could say his motto is "Moving means living." His whole life is a movement.
Make-up and come to terms with it.
He doesn't care. He has these stripes under his eyes, but he will be very offended if you tell him that it is makeup. Don't get me wrong, he is very proud of His strength and himself, and the stripes under his eyes are part of that strength, part of himself, and he will be very unhappy with the devaluation of such things. As for the makeup of others, as I said, he doesn't care. He'll still want to kick your ass, no matter what's wrong with your face.
Neuroses? Does he admit it?
"What? Damn it, I don't understand what you're talking about." (the guy doesn't know what that means hahahaa) In any case, he will never admit that he has problems with anger and controlling his emotions. He will accuse everyone around him that they just annoy him. The problem is definitely with them! Grimmjow does not understand all this psychological nonsense, believes that such trivial things do not concern him and will never talk about it with anyone.
Sexual orientation? And, regardless of one's own orientation, thoughts about sexual orientation in general?
He has no sex drive. I'm sorry. The concept of love is alien to him and he does not know such feelings as lust, love passion. He always regards people as potential rivals, because he always likes to prove that he is the strongest. Regardless of gender, he'll want to kick your ass if you show any potential. And that's it. As for sexual orientation, he doesn't know anything about it either. For him, all these stupid formalities do not make sense, because he is a man who is used to taking what he wants and how he wants it. Therefore, he would most likely not understand these limits regarding sexual orientation.
Clothing preferences.
Grimm does not like tight clothes, which constrain his movements, preventing comfortable movement and performing techniques. He doesn't value clothes very much, because they are often destroyed during his transformation or a hard battle. He likes to have his arms completely bare, and is categorically against high-necked hoodies. He also often rolls up the sleeves on long sweatshirts. This way he feels a little more freedom. In terms of color, he likes light Tones. He likes the way blood looks on a white shirt.
Turn on/turn off.
As I said, he either doesn't feel like walking at all, or it's very blunted. There is nothing that turns him on sexually, he does not understand the concept of these things. As for the battles, you can go on indefinitely. The excitement in him lights up when he is challenged. He really likes to show off, so he gets excited without hesitation. But he is also able to quickly lose interest when his victim is very bad on the battlefield. He hates weaklings, but he likes it when they ask him for mercy.
How organized are they? How does this organization/disorganization manifest itself in their daily lives?
Surprisingly, Grimmjow is quite organized. Sometimes he makes lists, plans, mental notes about something. He likes order, likes when any task is backed up by a sequence of actions, but it is possible that he also likes to improvise if he sees fit. It helps him save face in front of anyone. He is capable of analysis and rational thinking, which helps him a lot in much more difficult Battles and in everyday communication. He's as good as the captain of his Fraction.
Reaction to a sudden intrapersonal disaster
After his defeat in the battle with Ichigo, his world was turned upside down. His thoughts were only occupied with how things went Wrong, how it could have been different if he had acted differently at some point. It was a kind of destruction of a part of his personality. the part that was successful and proud of him. It was a very serious change in his life, which also left its mark. Literally lol. He doesn't get depressed, no. Most likely, he will be angry at himself, at someone else. He will rethink, doubt his abilities for a minute, after which his wounded pride (or rather, what is left of it) will pull him back and drive these thoughts away.
What makes them feel guilty?
It would seem that almost nothing can make Grimmjow feel something like guilt. But he is not devoid of emotions, it is quite acceptable. He is an honest man and will most likely feel guilty if he treats someone dishonestly. The result of such an action will not bring him joy at all. But he is unlikely to do anything to fix it.he won't be consumed by these Thoughts for so long, but they will eat him up for a while, yes. He's too proud to admit His guilt or (oh my God!!) apologize. It's never going to happen, nope.
Can we say that they have a superiority complex? An inferiority complex? Not?
Not. He has neither. He has a fairly stable and adequate self-esteem. He values himself and his efforts and successes. He does not need to prove anything to anyone, more often than not he does things for his own entertainment than for some practical benefit or other meaning. He feels great in his own skin and doesn't hide it. He is who he is and always will be. Although sometimes he is prone to vanity. For example, he believes that he is a much more important and powerful member of Espada than everyone else.
Do they express their thoughts in words or deeds?
Deeds. He's not very good at words and he knows it. Words mean nothing to Grimmjoe, he demands action and does it himself Instead of speaking. He never liked the meetings that Aizen organized. He immediately understood what should be done when and how. And the rest of the formalities do not interest him. If you need anything from him, some kind of confirmation of his honesty or strength, wait for action. He won't talk about how great he is, wasting his time on useless chatter. He will make you see, feel and believe. Believe me, he can be convincing without words.
How do they express sympathy, affection?
If there are people to whom Grimmjow is not indifferent, then they immediately understand this. There is always a special attitude towards them. He will be rude, protective, loud, but it will never cross the boundaries. He gets angry when something doesn't work out for someone dear to him. Most likely, he will blame you for this, say what a weakling you are, "don't whine, rookie". But he worries deep down. If you occupy a place in his life, he will let you hang out with him. You can just relax together, wrestle, play games and the like. Grimmjow has a pretty funny sense of humor, so expect a lot of jokes and banter. He will be merciless!
Are they afraid of death?
Always was like " I'm already dead, aren't I?" He is not afraid of Death. He would have proudly welcomed it with open arms if he had lost in battle to a worthy opponent. It would be an honor for him to die as a warrior, because he has lived as a warrior for as long as he can remember.

PART 2 OF ASKIN ANALYSIS .
PART 1 ||
Askin then goes on to say that he's fatally uncool before he falls down and dies by the hand of Oetsu. his sentence were full of genuineness of a smile and his eyebrows raising up without any hint of sarcasm.
it's also important to talk about this sketch of Kubo's the Death Dealing, Askin ability relies a lot on poison and lethal dose as a whole which Kubo could have gone to draw his letters melting like poison but instead he goes to sketch out his schrift drowning in water almost to signify that Askin is a man that are always drowning due to his own ability. it's very nice to see this as it also does goes on to foreshadow how Askin is the man who always gambles between life or death and standing too close to death yet so far from it which he will also mentions himself later on in the manga
it's also important to note about how Kubo chose Askin to draw in the cover of 'the ordinary peace' which correlates with Askin on plain sight but once you get into his character more you will realize that he's nowhere near ordinary nor peaceful.
"doesn't all that venom make you dizzy?"
it is also important to note that Askin has been hiding behind a wall due to him coming out from behind a wall unlike the other two who pretty much just flew out of nowhere and land down majestically.
he was then seen beforehand lounging around with the other guards and him being the only one who picked out a fruit from the fruit bowl with picking up grapes hence where his grapes relation comes from. that happened before this panel comes up and Askin looks openly scared of what was happening implying that he knew that he needs to be lucky enough to be bought up here but he did not know of what was Yhwach planning next hence why he looks scared of this outcome from Yhwach.
as he saw Yhwach's true form all of the guards looked terrified but Askin were the one that acted out on it the most as he stumbled back and bump into Jugram who was too calm in this situation. it is safe to include that Askin is an extremely expressive and honest man, of course he does do sarcasm and it's quite contradictory, that's exactly his character. it is yet again another person who called Askin by his name to indicates that Jugram does not count Askin as friends at all
Askin was the only one screaming loudly stumbling to find a safe place so he can keep on living as the others stayed calm and hop on other places with no sounds. Askin then started yelling at Jugram calling him by his last name to indicates that he was not close to Jugram enough to call him by his last name but he does have trust enough to call and ask him to say something to Yhwach instead of the supposed 'future emperor' Uryu Ishida because even in his mind, Askin does still sees Jugram as the one that are supposed to be the future emperor.
he was then seen again getting on top of a building for the second time but this time he got attacked by Grimmjow which completely caught him off guard and he seemed scared and surprised to see an enemy that he was not expecting considering he said 'Kurosaki Ichigo's group' and his screams when Grimmjow attacked him was very evident on how terrified and off guard he was.
and then there goes Askin running away. him saying that he knew Grimmjow was gonna say that might imply that he have known similar enemy to Grimmjow before [reckless and animalistic] and have also said he was here to kill and do it as secretly as possible which contradicts with the fact that the was right up on the roof and made a noise when he got up there.
he then quickly made an offering to Grimmjow almost doing anything to survive and hearing that Grimmjow was an enemy of Ichigo he immediately goes to say they should team up and kill him in which Grimmjow basically denied and insulted him and the chasing then quickly became a mouse and a cat like tom and jerry.
I also want to make a mention to the fact that Gerard called everyone else on the guards by their first name to indicates that they're all friends except that he called Askin by last name once again just like all the others which make sense due to the fact that Gerard quite literally threaten to kill Askin without hesitation.
now Grimmjow here have also mentioned that this slow ass attack isn't gonna hit him, in which the funny thing about Askin's gift ball ability is that he have two types of gift ball, at least from what we know so far. the slower pace attack of gift ball and faster pace attack of gift ball which will be seen within Askin VS Yoruichi and Kisuke. it's also important to note that right after Askin attack Grimmjow with his slow paced gift ball hiss voices and mood immediately switches to a calmer manner as he stopped his running in tracks. it's safe to assume that Askin knows Grimmjow is animalistic and violent and he knows or not- Askin is a cat [panther] in which he will act like one in which if something coming at him slow then he will swipe it away with no hesitation but if it were to come at him fast then he will dodge it, and Askin seems to know about this because he have the chance to use the fast paced gift ball but he decided against it.
it's also interesting to add how quick Askin's mood swings from being a scaredy mouse like Jerry and the moment he got a hit from Grimmjow that was sure to put him down he immediately switches to a more cockier moodlet. Askin and his moodswings are shown quite often in these panels.
and there goes Askin being the narrator. it's also important to note that Askin use the honorific -san behind Gerard and Lille's name and later on Pernida's name too most likely due to that he respects them quite a lot might be because of their power or their rank in general but the latter might not be that possible due to Askin now being on the same rank as the others so it's most likely that he uses the honorific -san as a man who held respects for them.
it's also quite interesting to note that despite how uncaring Askin may be to his surroundings or to the people that surrounds him it's important to note that Askin DOES care and knows about what's going on with this evidence on hand with him talking about the tales and rumours he have heard for Pernida and Gerard.
but it is also important to note that despite Askin having some sort of manners he does not held any of the same behaviors when it comes to Ichigo and right away calling him by his first name despite him being a special war power. I also like to think that he have defeated Ichigo due to that he have been watching him fight from behind the wall when Yhwach killed the Soul king hence why he have no scratch on his body at all while Ichigo is completely down because he knows Ichigo is going to be reckless and jump at him with no plan in mind and no warning. it is also important to ALSO note that Askin is very talkative but despite all the rumours flying around about Pernida and Gerard he did not believe in it but he can [now] see why people would say something 'so out there'
this scene was very cool because at first we only saw that Askin was almost talking to himself and then the next you can see Ichigo's orange hair just for the next panel to show Ichigo flat on the ground defeated.
as Chad punched aiming for Askin he failed and instead ended up in this purple area which is later explained and called as 'gift bad' now this scene doesn't seems very clear but if you look closely you can see that it seems like Askin's gift bad was expanding hence why Orihime is already seen in the circle but weren't falling down until Chad punched the floor. which can mean that Askin is able to expand/stretch his gift bad but we have no idea how much can he really expand it.
it is now seems that Askin doesn't quite held respect for Bambietta either as he called Bambietta by Bambi which is her first name and a nickname unlike when he called for Jugram or using honorific with using first name for those he held high respects for, and it also seems that him and Bambietta have had an interaction yet he held a dislike for her due to her violent tactic in wringing people's necks when they're down unlike Askin who he claims to let his victims suffers for a little bit to use his other ability to kill them and called it having delicacy. it is, however, unclear what kind of interaction Askin and Bambietta have had, were they on a mission together or was it just a random conversation starter? we don't know as their relationship were kept hanging but it is clear that he held dislike for Bambietta due to his mood immediately turning sour the moment Yoruichi mentions wringing an enemy's neck and in fact even yelled at her.
if you have seen a few panels ago Askin's gift bad was touching that rock that Yoruichi was hanging from but instead she was not affected by it and afterward she jumped right out of it at the spot where she wouldn't get hurt leading into thinking that people that flies or are above Askin's gift bad would not be affected by gift bad and might be able to see Askin's gift bad area once you're above gift bad which maake sense as gift bad means poison bath or poison pool so if you don't touch the floor with the gift bad on it then you're safe. it's also important to mention that despite Askin admitting to hating his abilities he does, however, also mentions that he rely entirely upon lethal doses which if someone were to hate their own abilities they would avoid using it whenever they can, but instead Askin also use this flaw into a good thing and knowing how powerful he can be with this power he knows he cannot just not use it, after all it is a gift given to him by Yhwach.
I also find it quite interesting that Askin is confirmed personality over body LOL. in fact he does admit that he finds women like Yoruichi and Bambietta beautiful but their looks doesn't matter it's in their fashion sense[?] which in this case doesn't make much sense but who am I to say
it is also our first time seeing Askin shooting 2 arrows out of the same bow in which Yoruichi grab it and turns herself before stabbing it right back at Askin counterattacking him. you can see that Askin seems genuinely shocked and surprised knowing she isn't supposed to do THAT.
as then we see that Askin being knocked back out of his gift bad area.
in which afterward he immediately composed himself and tried to pull his arrow out of him before getting another surprise from Yoruichi.
it also seems that Askin's gift bad area seems to be looking much smaller and seems to be focusing on Oriime mainly before Yoruichi pulled her out of it in which later she still looked to be affected by gift bad same with Ichigo and Chad but they were slowly getting up and healing from Askin's gift bad which can imply that Askin's gift bad might need Askin to concentrate on that power and to also stand in that area himself to let the power work perfectly.
right after Askin then mentions about how Yoruichi power won't be able to work on him now but was cut off by Yushirou which got disrupted by Yushirou's anger and later on his fists in his face. but to Yushirou's and Yoruichi's surprise even all of Yushirou and Yoruichi's power it was not enough and had made Askin more stronger as he got back up once more.
it's also something to note that Askin's healing ability when his physical body was hurt looks a lot quite similar to how a snake shed their skin.
when Yushirou came at Askin again without listening to what he was saying his eyes seemed a lot more softer than he used to have and right before he stab Yushirou with all his arrows he seemed to held some sort of pity towards Yushirou with his eyes softening and looking down on him.
"fatal matters are cold"
Askin suicidal idealization with him just laying there not moving at all knowing that there's a high chance of him dying to the columns falling down but instead he simply refuses to move and stayed there and yet he's still alive with just an inch away from the column hitting him in the head and killing him off. he knows that death is such a long way off for him and yet again with him looking at if he was talking to himself instead he then goes on to ask 'what do you think?' which was directed to Yoruichi who was suffering from Askin's gift balls. Askin face while he was talking so casually about how he knows death is a long way off for him were full of boredom almost as if he truly wish he was dead but couldn't die.

Catching up on tumblr and read your post about Sergei Dragunov's message of survival! May I ask what other characters from any fandoms are also acting as messengers for you?
There are so, so many from the past almost 20 years when I started to do this and connect the dots! Some of the characters are still questions marks with their messages but it's part of the fun to patiently figure them out - and, if there's none, then there's none and that's okay.
I'm going to introduce a few ones only so this list won't get too long.
Dante (Devil May Cry) Dante represents a time of transition, when the old isn't here anymore but the new hasn't arrived yet either. This is because he himself is a half-devil, half-human and thus doesn't really belong to either side. This transition is pretty much always something which takes me from old to new in a way that there's no returning back to the old. It's always a positive transition. For example, I started to see him around a lot before a surgery I didn't know I needed but which improved my life's quality afterwards. And, also, 5 months before I knew I was going to apply for a school and get accepted in.
Vergil (Devil May Cry) Vergil is a sort of a newcomer who very rarely appears. His message is a total transformation where the old completely dies and a new phase begins. Like the Phoenix. Where his brother Dante predicts a transformation in some field, Vergil predicts full scale transformation, which is inevitable. Multiple things will change at the same time but this purging is necessary and beneficial.
Hwoarang (Tekken) Hwoarang was a very close "guide" when I was younger. His message is that keep your eyes on the price/goal but don't force it as higher forces are at play, too. Stay humble to know when to step back but don't let the inner fire for your goal and ambitions disappear. The moment of pause is only a moment of pause. This is because Hwoarang goes after whatever the hell he wants, even breaking rules and law, but bring in his master Baek (the higher force) and he immediately knows his place.
Reno (Final Fantasy VII) Reno used to be around a lot more when I was in my twenties, worried about my career and work life. He sometimes appears to kick my ass but I'm happy I need his services a lot less now lol. This is because Reno's message is confidence as you are in a work environment. And ONLY in the work environment! Doesn't matter how you look like, doesn't matter how you are. Just be yourself. You will succeed and find the people who appreciate what you have got to give to your work field. This is Reno's message because despite his attitude, looks and the way he "violates" the workplace dress code, he is still 2nd in command right after his boss.
Daiki Aomine (Kuroko no Basket) Aomine is bold, 100% confidence with no hesitation, because the only one who can beat Aomine is Aomine himself - according to him. So, why do you stand on your own way, trip your on feet and give up? No one can beat you but you - go for it! Know your worth and give credit to your talents.
Grimmjow (Bleach) Grimmjow is titled as The King in Bleach so he represents ultimate rule over your own life and your own actions. You do you and don't give a shit what others want from you or what they think about you. His message isn't aimed to anything particular but it's more of a call to embody that self-sufficient regal energy, where anyone who crosses your path and says "No you can't" is nothing but a whining bastard. His the "Take No Shit" part from the motto Do No Harm, Take No Shit.
Sergei Dargunov (Tekken) Adding Dragunov here, too, if someone missed the original post. Dragunov represents (and predicts) ultimate survival in an extreme environment where my future - from a logical point of view - is heavily threatened. Like, to that degree that IF things don't work out (soon!), I will not survive. Keep your calm, keep your emotions in check as there's no need to panic, even if the world around you was on fire. The fire will not catch you. This is because when I think about Dragunov, I feel that he will survive anything. Drop an atom bomb over him and he probably just walks away from it with some dust on him, unharmed. Then, he goes to mind his own business and assemble his pink toy tanks. I think that such a notion is a small extra; have some sense of humor, even when the world burns. There are still nice things out there to enjoy of right now.
I'm currently trying to figure out Jessica Rabbit and Fran from FFXII, who has been my faves for a really long time. Most of the guides are men because I'm naturally more comfortable and at ease in masculine energy (a psychic once noted that my energy is, at the moment, more aligned with the divine masculine - one of my current lessons is to turn that to the divine feminine, which is extremely strong on my astrological chart. I just haven't been able to tap into it yet but I'm getting there!)

Sorry for kurobasposting in your inbox, but now that (I assume) you've met all the Generation of Miracles, I need to know if your favorite is still Murasakibara. Also, we talk so much about squad dynamics in Bleach, I can't help but think about team dynamics too, like Touou gave me such Squad 11 vibes, and it made me wonder which team you liked best (and if any of them reminded you of Squad 6👀). Also, in a Bleach Sports scenario, do you think kouhai Renji would be devastated when team captain/senpai Byakuya graduates and passes the mantle onto him? I'm imagining a Portions for Foxes kind of AU where Renji agonizes about leading a team, but Rukia lowkey fantasies about how hot he'd look doing it. Think about the pep talks he'd give!!!!!!!! OK I'm done.
No apologies necessary! I am very happy to talk about Kurobas!! I don't talk about it nearly as much as I have thoughts about it, because nearly all my thoughts are tied up around How Much Bleach It Is, because its insane basketball-themed powers system was so incredibly Bleach-structured, and even though the main cast was not very Bleachy at all, so many of their random opponents were just straight up Bleach characters.
Who is my favorite Miracle? I cannot answer this question. I hate them all. They are all my favorite. To me, the Generation of Miracles exists on some plane orthogonal to "liking" or "not liking." Each and every one of them is an Entity, and I am obsessed with them.
Kise is the most human of them. He works so hard and loves basketball so much. He was late to the GoM and to me, there's this degree of sadness that he deserved to have a better time. Also, he wants to be friends with everyone so badly and they are so mean to him. "I would be friends with you, Kise," I say to myself, and then I remember that he's a model and it's like, "You know what? Never mind."
Midorima is 100%, unapologetically himself all of the time, and I respect that, but also: he's terrible. My opinions on him oscillate wildly. I do think he deserves his skill level more than anyone else on the GoM. I want to push him down the stairs.
I am a really simple person: I like character who work hard. I can never love Aomine because he does not go to practice and does not show up for games on time. On the other hand, he is electric on the court, he's the funnest player to watch, by far. I also enjoy his Color Commentary the best. He has merged so completely with Grimmjow in my mind that when I was watching TYBW last week, I was like "why is Aomine here?" and then the next time I watched KNB and he yelled "If you don't beat Rakuzan, I'll kill you!" at Kuroko, I was like "thanks, Grimmjow." I think he has a really toxic relationship with basketball, and should probably quit and do something else instead.
Murasakibara is so precious to me because I love him in a way I have never loved another character. He doesn't work hard, either, but he also Doesn't Want To Be Here and is making it everyone else's problem. I cannot justify it in the least, but I get unreasonably excited whenever he shows up. I actually screamed out loud when he put his hair up in a ponytail.
Akashi might be the greatest anime villain of all time, and that counts Aizen. The scope of his villainy was small, but he brought his A+++ game to it. My favorite Akashi moment was when he was being defeated by the power of friendship and he cured his own multiple personality disorder during a time-out and came back with his own, even better version of the power of friendship. I mean, I hate him, obviously. He has ruined so many people's basketball experience for basically no reason whatsoever. Poster child for eating the rich.
It's hard to like any team better than Seirin because every player on Seirin is a banger, and their teamwork is second to none. I don't think there were any other teams that I liked the full bench as much as Seirin.
I think the match against Yousen was my favorite, maybe because I just love a good defense. I am obsessed with the way Kimuro was just like "Friendship with Kagami ended, uh, uh, Murasakibara is my new best friend!!" Why are they always hanging out???
Shuutoku is Squad Six, I am sorry to say. It just is. Legacy team with long history of consistent greatness. Midorima is Byakuya if Byakuya was raised as a human teen instead of the most important person in Soul Society, and also he got into astrology for some reason. Takao is not really anything like Renji, but his rapport with Midorima is extremely Byakuya-Renji coded. The Sky Direct Three Point shot was one of the high points of the entire series for me, and I think Renji would have cried actual tears if he watched that episode. (He would refuse to pull Byakuya around in a little cart, tho)
I also kinda like Kaijou, but maybe it's just because Kasamatsu was my favorite non-Seirin, non-GoM side character by a long shot. Maybe it's because he works so hard and feels so hard and takes being captain as such a responsibility. Maybe it's his knee socks.
I would not have called the Touou - Squad 11 connection, although I can see it. Imayoshi was Basketball Gin, to me, and Sakurai was Basketball Rikichi.
I adore the scenario you outlined where Renji goes through the entire five stages of grief because Senpai is Furthering his Education. A real Bleach-KNB fusion (Orihime no Basuke) would have to focus on the Karakura kids, but Renji and Byakuya's team would be their first rival team, the one that you get to cheer for later on as the series progresses. Rukia would have transferred from Renji and Byakuya's school to Karakura High and would coach Ichigo and Orihime's team, which would make such good emotional tension.
Bonus answer to the question you didn't ask: Kiyoshi - Hyuuga - Riko OT3.
#oh god i want to tag this for My Blog organizational purposes but i don't actually want it to show up in the knb tags#where any actual knb fan would have to look at it#maybe i put a bunch of other stuff first#i need you all to know what a fantastic person my husband is#because he does not want to watch a sports anime ever#but he has listened to me breathlessly summarize this show which i am sure is even worse#including the last two weeks of 'is the zone bankai? there's a second level to the zone so maybe it's shikai.'#'you fall backwards into water to enter the zone and the visual is exactly like ichigo entering his inner world'#'is a shinigami a being who has an innate connection to the zone???'#he's such an active listener about it too! why does he put up with this?? truly i do not deserve him!#kuroko no basuke#knb

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Shinji's got the keyboard, and he wants one spicy one for everyone!!!
Why you do dis to meeee? So rude. Anyway, long AF so under cut:
Aiko Jaegerjaquez - Soft touches to her ears, especially the black one, make her melt. But if she doesn't know you it may get you rather painfully bitten too.
Aizen Sosuke - Challenge him. Doesn't matter if you could actually beat him. Just show him you won't just roll over and that you're invested in what's happening too.
Coyote Starrk - Hurt him. Just a little. He spends so much time trying to keep his reiatsu to himself and to ignore the world around him, that anything that grounds him is important. A bite, nails digging in, anything sharp enough it can't be ignored.
Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez - Pay close attention. He can, especially in public, be extremely subtle about his affections. Don't expect grand gestures. You'll get slow blinks, he might occasionally brush you with a shoulder, he'll smile more when picking on you. Though his comments may say more about him than anyone else.
Hisagi Shuuhei - While he will never actually complain about it with a partner, foreplay is incredibly important. Its the little touches that can't go anywhere further. Not yet. The anticipation building until everything feels oh so intense. Works well to get him to finally break and admit to his feelings.
Hitsugaya Toshiro - His neck is excessively sensitive. Everyone assumes he struggles with being cold, he's heard whispers of people blaming Hyorinmaru for it. However, he covers his neck because even a breeze can send a shiver down his spine. But a hot breath will make him fall apart.
Hyorinmaru - Due to the fact he always runs cool, at least compared to humans, warm touch of almost any kind gets to him. Especially skin to skin contact tends to be a big distraction for him.
Iba Tetsuzaemon - Be tender with him. Don't baby him, but don't make him always be strong. A gentle hand on the cheek, a tender kiss pressed anywhere, play with his hair. Just make him feel loved as he so very seldom does.
Ichimaru Gin - His playfulness never stops. If you can't take teasing comments and playful grins and even the occasional laugh, you'll never last in his bed.
Ise Nanao - While most would assume the sharp way she speaks would continue into the bedroom and she'd be a domme, Nanao is actually very soft in the bedroom. She is shy about sharing her body, but will still ask for what she wants. She's just more likely to request rather than demand it.
Ishida Ryuuken - While he doesn't speak of it, only because he sees no reason for anyone to be that involved in his business, Ryuuken has paid for sex before. To him there's nothing shameful about it; it was a need that he took care of with someone who was willing and on the same page as him about the purpose of the meeting. Dating requires time and effort that the doctor honestly doesn't see worthwhile generally, so a call girl is easier in his opinion.
Ishida Uryuu - Not something he's good at talking about, but Uryuu favors just a bit of pain in his pleasure. Just something to make it all feel real to him, a way to ground himself in the here and now and make his mind shut up. For a couple moments.
Kira Izuru - Touching his right arm, at all, sends at least hints of arousal through him. Aiko verified that his arm formed via his hollow hole rupturing. Which means that all touches to his arm, or really anywhere that his skin is black, sends sharp sensations through him. This is why he wears a sleeve made out of heavy white material on that arm at all times to help buffer the effect of people touching him.
Komamura Sajin - Its not something he would ever voice, because he would never want a potential partner to feel like they had to do anything, but Sajin can't see himself being able to be romantically, let alone sexually, involved with someone who can't at least offer platonic type touch (i.e. touches, maybe a kiss to the cheek, or a night cuddling watching tv) to his anthropomorphic form. If he cannot be himself, he cannot let someone close.
Kotetsu Isane - She doesn't mean to be, but she is loud when with a partner. While she wouldn't call herself necessarily a screamer, she's not exactly that far from it either.
Kuchiki Byakuya - He has always been attracted to a person over just their gender, but knew that producing an heir was/is expected of him and has thus kept his interest in men to himself. As a noble, especially of the Kuchiki Clan, he knew it would just cause issues. His father's betrayal of the clan ensured that.
Kuchiki Rukia - She doesn't have a high sex drive, but when something does trigger it, she almost can't think of anything else until she gets at least that first O.
Kurosaki Isshin - He hasn't really dated since Masaki's death, afraid to see what more heartbreak could cause in his children, but he does occasionally go out. Usually when all the kids are away for the night so he can hit up Inferno or whatever dive bar he finds just to enjoy the physical side of the release.
Kyoraku Shunsui - He is a pleasure dom. His only goal in the bedroom is to pleasure his partner(s) until they can't take anymore. If he gets some too, great. If not, he's happy enough just being able to take care of his partner(s).
Matsumoto Rangiku - She doesn't intend to leave marks on her partners, but sometimes the pleasure builds enough that she can't help but to claw at her partners, wanting them closer, lost in her pleasure.
Sado Yasutora - Making the first move is definitely not his strong suit. Which also means that as of yet, at almost 19, Sado is still a virgin because he's been too shy to say anything about those who caught his interest. Especially because he will always put the friendships he has above what might be.
Senbonzakura - He finds that his interest in women is sweet and petite women, ones who can be spoiled as princesses. His interest in men tends towards those with heavier muscling, those who are clearly strong. He's not sure how much of that is his Shinigami's fault.
Sode no Shirayuki - The idea of sex interests her, but Sode no Shirayuki isn't really sure how she feels about it in reality. It sounds complicated. Besides that, it seems to require more than just one's self and that's a lot more closeness than she's quite ready to share with anyone besides perhaps her Master.
Sui-Feng - It takes a lot of trust, but if you can get to that point with her, bondage (mainly Shibari) is a big thing for her. Even if she knows she can Shunko out of almost any binding anyone used on her. She's just unable to relax and enjoy being tied without trust.
Ukitake Juushiro - Out of habit, a millennia will do that to a person, Juushiro tends towards slow and gentle, more like tantric sex. For so long it was the only safe option.
Unohana Retsu - She enjoys some roughness in the bedroom, but still has to be careful how far it goes as the sight of blood can still ignite her bloodlust. Which she tries to leave outside the bedroom.
Zaraki Kenpachi - He does sometimes take a hand to himself, but he finds it more of an annoyance than something he really enjoys. Its like an itch that you haven't been able to reach all day and you finally scratch it against a tree and finally it stops poking at your attention every time you're not focused elsewhere.

What if Espada + Lilynette fell asleep with their s/o but woke up alone?
And they can't find them anywhere later on learning they were out for groceries?
Starrk
Waking up alone always sends an awful pang of loneliness through him, even when he knows there's nothing to worry about. Rationally, he doesn't doubt you're coming back from whatever it is that pulled you away from your shared nap, but that dread-like feeling that he's been abandoned still digs its claws in enough to leave Starrk feeling all kinds of pathetic as well. He'll be in an unpleasant mood until you get back, but calms down easily then.
Lilynette
There's a moment where, upon waking up to realize she's alone, Lilynette panics. She hates how needy it feels, but you're gone, and there's a part of her that's legitimately scared you'll never come back. There's nothing to take her mind off it until then, either— if she's with you and Starrk's not around, that's a sort of solitude that she's not used to at all. She stays antsy and tense until you return, and gets oddly clingy for a while afterward.
Halibel
Aside from the brief, startled moment when she first slips back to consciousness and realizes that you're not there, Halibel takes it pretty well. She can easily assume that you had something that needed to be attended to... even if there's a part of her that's still unsettled to have woken up alone. Still, she puts it out of her mind quickly enough, and finds something to occupy herself until you get back— at which point the last of the tension finally dissipates.
Ulquiorra
Loathe as he is to admit it, waking up alone doesn't sit well with him. If he'd fallen asleep with you, to begin with, Ulquiorra had been in an unusually vulnerable state of mind, and waking up to the lack of the presence he'd expected sends an instinctive bolt of panic through him. And as much as he bitterly tries to push that feeling out of his mind, he can't help but feel uneasy while you're gone... and then, oddly grouchy once you've returned.
Nnnoitra
The feeling that hits him when he realizes you're not curled up by his side anymore is one of the most shameful things Nnoitra has experienced. And no matter how hard he tries to smother the pathetic sense of loss churning in his head while you're gone, that feeling remains a perpetual irritant until you're back. When you're home again, you'll find Nnoitra in a truly rotten mood, but he only snaps at you when you try to ask what's bothering him.
Grimmjow
He's the one who can't stop pacing around the house looking for you. While he tells himself he's just annoyed with you for disappearing so suddenly, there's a sort of worry lingering in the back of his mind that he just can't shake. There's a reason why you were gone, obviously, but Grimmjow is still agitated and on edge until you're back— and at that point, he's all over you. Prepare for plenty of grouchy clinginess along with denial of any worry.
Szayel
Considering that he has to let his guard down a lot to sleep properly, waking up alone is a cause for stress. Szayel can hardly believe he didn't wake up while you left, and that's almost worrying him more than your disappearance. He finds something to occupy himself soon enough and refuses to show his lingering distress when you get back home... but he's hesitant to sleep again for a while, now that he knows how unguarded he ends up.
Aaroniero
He does not take that well. Falling asleep is vulnerable enough; waking up with you gone is just panic-inducing. There's some instinctive surge feeling that he needs to hide until you're there again, until the presence that his mind is convinced protects him has returned. And Aaroniero is the type to worry that he's been abandoned— even when he knows it's irrational, there's a distrustful sort of worry lingering that he can't fully restrain.

hi kendy ❤️❤️ i am not up to date on the bachelor franchise so i'm afraid i can't weigh in in any meaningful way, however it did get me thinking...
if the residents of the meow meow mansion were to be on for your season, who all would have memorable entrances on night one and what kind of first impressions are they making?
feel free not to answer if the franchise is giving you the ick btw also i hope you're having a lovely day so far! <3
hello my beauty rook <3333 how are you? well i am hoping!!!! you are the best and ily thank u for asking bc this is such a fun question
tbh i'll never get the ick from reality show formats bc i'm addicted to them but the producers of this season of the bachelorette and i need 15 minutes in a locked room so i can yell at them...
BUT I DIGRESS!
i honestly feel like the men are so extra they're all trying to dazzle with an entrance. satoru probably walks in with a dozen roses, a one in a million smile, and knows he's gonna be a fan favorite so he doesn't bother doing much else. grimmjow just walks in and doesn't speak to anyone which is hilarious. yami is the same, he's just like *yawn* i'm here. but yk who really makes An Entrance? captain obi. man is ripping his shirt off on night one bc we don't believe in decorum when there is love to be won and he trains every day. please show us all 12 of your abs, akitaru obi, nobody here will complain.
tbh hyoga would make a very good entrance just bc he's hot. two buttons on his shirt buttoned, walking in with the swagger of a man who knows he's probably about to win the entire season if he plays his cards right. unattainable in feel. like tbh, to me, i don't like the golden retriever type men on the bachelor bc they always end up being awful but i do love a man who lets there be a little Mystery to him and he is the one.
as far as memorable first nights go - satoru gojo is the one. he is the instant fan favorite. everyone either wants us to get married or wants him to themselves so they hope that i die and it's hilarious.

📱,👁, and ✋ for Ulqui, Nnoitra and Grimmjow? If it's too much then just skip Grimm 🙈💫💗
SEND ME ONE FOR A HC
Anon, how dare you ask me to skip Grimmjow? I am utterly offended
Ulquiorra
📱 - How often do they look at their phone (if they have one)?
Never. I can truly pass a century before this man picks up the phone again. It's a useless human devise, if he needs something, he'd go face to face and tell you. You don't need to know about him every minute of the day. And he knows exactly where to find you, so why bother?
👁️ - How often do they make eye contact?
All. The. Time. Deadpan. No blinking. Unless… you know, there's something more about the way he's starting to feel about you. Something annoying and undoubtedly stupid, but sometimes he can't help but avert his gaze at the bubbly feeling he gets when he looks into your eyes.
✋ - Describe their body language.
Rigid when he's standing still. Yet, there is a characteristic parsimony in each one of his movements.
Nnoitra
📱 - How often do they look at their phone (if they have one)?
Yeah… he lost it. Nnoitra would rather die than admit being startled by its ringtone and smashing his fist over it in response.
👁️ - How often do they make eye contact?
With you? Rarely. Nnoitra can't stand the sweet way you look at him.
✋ - Describe their body language.
At first sight, it's pretty careless: open postures to assert he's the one in charge, big grins. In truth, all the selfward that should be in his body language is camouflaged by the fact his Hierro is pretty strong.
Grimmjow
📱 - How often do they look at their phone (if they have one)?
Not often. There's something about the screen light that Grimmjow doesn't like. He keeps it inside his jacket in case you call, which means it gets destroyed during his fights pretty often. You soon find out it's cheaper if he doesn't have one.
👁️ - How often do they make eye contact?
Not so frequently, but when he does, his gaze it's deep.
✋ - Describe their body language.
Carefree. He moves as if he owns the place.
