Vintage Black and White Images of 1900′s Germany Are Transformed Into Color Photographs

Vintage photographs of Germany have been resuscitated by the photochromation technique, which brings back color to black and white images. With the help of museum curator and author Karin Lelonek, documentarian Sabine Arquéla and designer Mark Walter, they have archived, said retro pieces in their book titled Germany Around 1900: A Portrait in Colour. The stunning images depict an accurate portrayal of Germany before World War I and II. The photographs showcase its medieval, rustic beauty and enchanting fairytale-esque structures.
