You should’ve known better than to find an apartment listing in the same place where people get lied to about the types of dogs they’re buying. To this day, your aunt is convinced her Chorkie is supposed to be pure Maltese.
Meanwhile, you’re about 99.999% sure your apartment is haunted, and whatever ghost this was, they really liked stealing your underwear. It should’ve scared you. It should’ve driven you away and rushed you out to find a newer, less haunted place to live. But it was cheap, fully furnished, and came with a walkable laundromat and a family-owned market with homegrown tomatoes. Nothing could beat that.
You could tolerate it. It was better than mooching off your parents, who ask every five minutes when you’ll get a 'real' job. Living away from your parents was necessary for your sanity and a dead pervert is much preferable to a live one.
“Can you fucking stop leaving the bathroom light on? I get that haunting is your job and all, but you’re not the one paying the electricity bill.”
If anyone could see you talking to thin air right now, they would’ve had you committed.
“And while we’re at it, could you stop stealing the lacy underwear? They’re gifts, and I don’t wear them, but I might someday, so leave me the option!”
The hallway light flickered before it finally stopped and swift air breezed past you in response, but no returning underwear. You let out a frustrated sigh and shove the rest of your dirty clothes into the hamper before proceeding with laundry day.
You’ve never seen any part of them, yet you’re always aware of their presence. It was creepy at first, but that quickly turned into annoyance when you realized how limited their grasp on the living world truly was—just a bit of theft and light tinkering. It was manageable, but you still felt uneasy knowing you couldn’t change without feeling watched.
“I’ll be back. Don’t piss me off more when I do. It is not my week.”
Not a day had passed since you two became acquainted that he didn’t find some way to bother you, but there were definite perks to living in hell’s best apartment lease. As your feet scraped across the tiled floor, the afternoon sun briefly flushed your skin, and a familiar flutter stirred in your chest as the thought of something popped into your head. Instead of the usual contempt, longing filled your chest as you made your way to the machine.
“What do we have today, m’dear?”
Your ears perked up at the sound of his voice, and you pretended to nonchalantly turn around, as if you hadn’t just spent several minutes hoping for his appearance. “Oh, you know, the usual—interview clothes, some sweatpants, and a few coffee-stained rags.”
Seungkwan’s lips curled into a soft chuckle, his laugh warm as he tossed his own laundry into the machine beside yours. “Sounds spicy. Mrs. Whirlpool is in for a gourmet meal today.”
He said the weirdest, most ridiculous things, but the real mystery was how you still ended up wanting to kiss him anyway. There was something about his easy smile, the effortless way he tossed his dress shirt into the machine like it was some kind of party trick.
He had a knack for brightening the atmosphere as if he possessed a magnetic otherworldly charm. Whenever you arrived, you couldn't help but wish he would be there, transforming the ordinary task of laundry into an intimate little affair—just the two of you amidst a heap of dirty clothes.
You observed him from the side, noting that his stack of clothes was noticeably smaller than usual. This made you question why he would wash such a small load. “Today isn't your regular laundry day. It’s usually Fridays and Mondays, isn't it? Today’s Thursday.”
The second the words left your mouth, you cringed internally. Great. Way to sound like a total stalker. Creep much?
Seungkwan cocked a smile. “I’m flattered you’ve memorized my laundry schedule.”
You laughed awkwardly, scrambling for cover. “I pass by here and just happen to have a really great memory.”
He chuckled, shaking his head. “Well, this might sound kind of gross and embarrassing, but I found these abandoned at the back of my closet. They’ve been there forever, and I had some extra change, so I figured, why not? You know, especially since I’ll be gone at the end of October.”
“You’ll be gone for Halloween? Well, don’t sound too disappointed.
“Yeah,” Seungkwan said with a soft chuckle, glancing your way. “Family traditions. Can’t miss them. You know, the usual—handing out candy, our neighborhood haunted house contest, all that.”
“That sounds like so much fun. Way better than my Halloween growing up.”
“Aw, thanks, but trust me, it’s way more chaotic than it sounds. Kids screaming, neighbors going overboard with decorations—it’s a lot." He shrugged as he folded his laundry, a hint of nostalgia creeping into his tone. “What about you? Got any plans?”
“Um… I’m not sure yet. Still figuring it out, I guess,” you answered earnestly, suddenly feeling like a loser with no plans–which you were by definition.
Seungkwan hesitated, his hands stilling mid-fold, the fabric dangling loosely between his fingers. You could see something flickering in his eyes—a jumble of thoughts swirling in his mind like a muddled cloud, visible in the furrow of his brow. “Oh. Well, um…” His voice trailed off, and he shifted his weight from one foot to the other, as if he were battling whether or not to say what was really on his mind.
"What?" Your curiosity spiked, your heart quickening as you waited for him to continue. For a moment, the only sound was the rhythmic ticking of the clock on the wall, stretching the already lingering silence.
He quickly shook his head, offering a faint, almost apologetic smile before turning back to his laundry, his hands moving again, but less sure than before. “Nothing. Just—never mind.”
“Oh, okay.” The disappointment weighed on you, heavier than you wanted to admit. You glanced at the washing machines, trying to focus on the steady hum of the cycles, but your eyes kept drifting back to the numbers, slowly counting the seconds until the minutes ticked over, all while the silence between you grew louder.
You finished your load long before Seungkwan could wrap up his, the awkward tension of unfinished business hanging in the air like a thick fog. You glanced at him, hesitating for a moment before mustering a tight smile, trying to shake off the discomfort. “Well, that’s it for me. See you around, Seungkwan.”
He looked up from his laundry, the corners of his lips tugging down slightly. "See you, neighbor," he said, his tone laced with a hint of regret. The moment lingered in the air between you, thick with unspoken words, making it even harder to walk away.
With one last glance at his face, you stepped back, the soft chime of the door ringing behind you as you passed their glass doors.
As you walked  back toward your apartment, you couldn’t help but drop in confidence, thinking to yourself that maybe you didn’t deserve good things like cute laundromat boy. The hallway felt more confining than usual, the walls seeming to close in, echoing the insecure thoughts making rounds in your head.
You leaned against the cheaply painted walls of your cramped apartment, sliding down to sit on the floor with your head in your hands. It was just a childish crushfleeting and meaningless—yet the thought of him going away scared you more than any real-life danger you'd ever faced. He was the only upside to moving to this part of town, the one thing that made the mundane feel even remotely worthwhile.
As you sat on the vinyl floor, you could still picture the sparkle in his eyes when he first opened those double doors, the warmth of his voice as he introduced himself. What had once been just laundry had turned into something to look forward to, a small break from the routine and a chance to brighten up your day in this sparse town.
Maybe, if you were lucky, it could turn into a little small-town romance. But now, you couldn’t help but wonder if he even saw you beyond the casual pleasantries. Did he just see you as another neighbor, or maybe just a friendly face?
The familiar flickering light in the kitchen pulled you back to the reality and up from the ground of your haunted apartment. With a frustrated sigh, you turned your attention to your unwanted roommate. “Yeah, yeah, I’m home,” you muttered, trying to shake off the feeling of melancholy.
As you walked toward the living room, the flickering lightbulbs in the lamps followed your path, their erratic dance a reminder of the presence that lingered in your space. Maybe getting rid of them wouldn’t be such a bad idea after all. It could be a way to finally cut ties with the ghost that seemed determined to remind you of your solitude. You chuckled softly at the thought. Perhaps an exorcism could clear out both the ghost and all the pointless overthinking.
But that was a problem for another day. Rotting in bed sounded far more appealing right now. You shuffled into your room, the soft glow from the streetlamp spilling in through the window, casting faint shadows on the walls as the evening deepened. The coolness of the night crept in slowly, the faint hum of the city blending into the background.
As you sank into the familiar embrace of your blankets, the exhaustion in your limbs finally settled, but your mind lingered for a moment longer. You glanced outside, the dim light catching in the leaves of the trees below, and for a fleeting second were at peace. No ghosts, no old washers or dryers, no obsessive crush. Just sleep.
You sighed, pulling the covers tighter around you, letting the hum of old furnishing–and probably the old pervert ghost–as you drifted off into sleep.
Your rest was cut short by a full bladder, ready to burst. With heavy eyelids, you stumbled toward the bathroom, barely aware of your surroundings. As you relieved yourself, everything felt normal—the creaking of the bathroom door, the sporadic running of the faucet, and the occasional flickering of the lights above, indicating his restless presence.
You groaned, rubbing your eyes with your fists. “This wasn’t an invitation, Casper,” you muttered, irritation creeping into your voice.
As if to taunt you, the faucet suddenly turned on full blast, running wildly before shutting off completely, leaving you with nothing but the simmering annoyance bubbling inside of you. With a frustrated huff, you quickly flushed the toilet and turned to the mirror. The lone reflection staring back at you looked as tired as you felt.
With dark circles under your eyes and a complexion that could only be described as dull, it was starting to feel like you were one bad hair day away from getting "gave up" tattooed across your forehead. And suddenly you were wondering whether you looked more dead than the ghost.
Instead of wallowing more self-pity, you washed your hands under the running faucet. If the ghost wanted to bother you, it certainly wasn’t going to be about your hygiene. You kept that on lock.
You glanced back at the mirror and no longer were you alone. Instead, where your reflection should have been was the unsettling visage of your ghost, staring back at you with a smirk that sent a shiver down your spine. His pale features were striking, almost ethereal, with an undeniable charm that twisted your gut. Those mischievous eyes sparkled with a playful malevolence.
Your ghost was attractive–strikingly so–and for some reason that made you dislike him even more.
You shot your shared reflection an unamused smile. “Was that supposed to scare me?”
His reflection chuckled, leaning over his sink to give you an unfiltered view of every extraordinary detail etched into his face like a sculpture. “What? I thought I could finally introduce myself.”
“After months of me already living here? I feel the moment has passed,” you shot back, crossing your arms in defiance.
“Well, I had to pass my own judgment, didn't I? Do you know how many coke-huffing, cheese puff-grubbing, athlete-foot-walking slobs I’ve encountered in my place of residence?” He leaned closer, his expression mockingly serious, the flickering light casting playful shadows across his sharp cheekbones.
“May I remind you that those people were renters? If they paid to be there, who were you to deny them that?” You raised an eyebrow.
“Like I didn’t pay when I was alive? Plus, Muriel definitely wasn’t paying, nor was Monty. They were beyond sketchy.” He rolled his eyes dramatically, clearly relishing the chance to air his grievances from beyond the grave. “Now that I think about it, there was definitely some laundry going on around here—and I’m not just talking about your underwear strewn all over the place.”
“Thanks for the reminder. Would you please leave the undergarments alone?” you replied, trying to keep the irritation from creeping into your voice as if you didn’t sound crazy enough talking into a mirror.
He shrugged nonchalantly, the flickering light casting shadows across his smirking face. “I will once you learn to toss them in the hamper like a normal humie. Upside to being dead: no laundry.”
“I don’t have to take this from someone who can’t even wear underwear anymore.”
“So you assumed I died without any on? How morbidly perverted of you.” His playful smile widened.
You scoffed, incredulous at the absurdity of the conversation you were having—with a ghost of all people.
“You know I’m right…I could sense your heart racing the moment you laid eyes on me,” he teased, a playful grin dancing across his lips as his jaw hung slightly slack in intrigue. His gaze swept over you, lingering on the way your breath caught in your throat, as if he were drinking in every detail, alive in the way his eyes glowed with mischief despite their soulless depths.
His ghostly figure was lean and toned, the contours of his form faintly visible like a lingering shadow, brimming with an energy that felt both alluring and infuriating. The flickering light cast an ethereal glow around him, highlighting the sharp angles of his jaws and the way his seemingly wet hair fell carelessly over his forehead. He leaned closer, the air thickening with a mix of annoyance and something dangerously enticing as if he relished the effect he had on you.
“Are you…flirting with me?” You couldn’t believe you had to ask, but the glint in his eye was undeniable.
“It’s not illegal. Not in the afterlife, anyway. Anything goes here.” He leaned back against the sink, bloodless veins pulsing against his forearms, enjoying the encounter more than he should.
“I…need sleep.”
You peeled yourself away from the mirror, shaking your head in disbelief, and headed to bed without looking back. You slipped through the sheets, found comfort in their familiarity, and sighed, thinking you escaped.
“You know—”
“Jesus!” you burst out, your heart racing as you instinctively clutched your chest. Opening your eyes, you found the ghost looming above you, his expression a mix of amusement and annoyance. “What now?”
“Walking to a different room isn’t exactly a proper goodnight,” he said, crossing his arms over his spectral chest as if he were the arbiter of etiquette in the afterlife. His expression was mock-serious, and the playful glint in his eyes suggested he found the whole situation amusing.
“As if ghosts even sleep?” you shot back, rolling your eyes.
“No, but it’s polite,” he replied, feigning indignation, the corners of his mouth twitching upward in a barely contained grin.
“Is this going to keep happening? You annoy me until I scrape together enough money to move out, or, if I’m not fortunate, end up penniless and homeless,” you lamented, your voice dripping with sarcasm as you threw your hands up in frustration.
“You tell me.”
With a sigh, you shut your eyes again and threw the blanket over your head, seeking refuge. “At least save it for the morning.”
And the ghost did just that—he saved all of it for the morning, better yet the afternoon. Since that’s when you woke up anyways.
“Do people always eat breakfast past two p.m., or is that a recent trend from the last two decades?” his voice called, cutting through the haze of your half-sleep as you started to eat
“How old are you even?” you mumbled, cereal gnashing between your teeth.
“Old enough to know that you need more than cereal to sustain a healthy human body.”
“Riveting,” you muttered sarcastically, sipping the milk from the bowl. “Next, you’ll tell me that ‘ghosting’ is a real thing in your realm, too.”
“Actually, it is,” he retorts, his presence somehow stronger than it was in front of a mirror, “Happen to be doing it right now. Having some fun.”
“Is that your idea of fun? Stalking me from beyond the grave?”
“Call it what you want, but I’m just trying to keep you company,” he replied, his voice low and smooth, like honey dripping from a spoon. “Besides, who else is going to breathe some life into your dull existence other than someone who’s already checked out of theirs?”
You rolled your eyes, crossing your arms with a playful huff. “Great. Just what I need—my own ghostly life coach. What’s next? A seminar on the benefits of double-scrubbing the bathtub?
It was meaningless stuff, really. The kind of chatter that filled the air like background noise, a gentle distraction from the world outside your walls. Yet, for someone who was supposed to be dead, he had an uncanny knack for conversation, it only made you assume the type of person he was alive. He could turn the mundane into clear images, painting vivid pictures with his stories about the afterlife—or, more accurately, his gripes about it. Not that you asked for it, but, it was like being told a grand story. Stories you could not for the life of you stop listening to for some reason.
“Okay, ghostie—”
“Jeonghan,” he corrected. “Say it with me slowly. Jeong. Han.”
“Mmh, ghostie! I’ll be back after the laundry is done.”
“No way you’re saving money with how often you—”
“Bye bye, poltergeist!” You cut him off with a wave, stepping out with a load full of laundry.
You had noticed how quickly the days were slipping by, how time seemed to blur when you shared your space with someone—or rather, something—that could actually respond to you in real-time. It was a strange kind of companionship, one that made you forget just how much solitude had weighed on you before.
The passing days also reminded you just how much you needed a breather, to clear your head from this bizarre living arrangement. And somehow, your laundry had piled up, more than it ever should have for someone unemployed who barely left the house. It was odd. Almost like time itself was moving faster, dragging the mess along with it.
“Hey, right on schedule—Thursdays and every other Monday and today’s Monday..”
You almost forgot about Seungkwan amidst all the supernatural nonsense swirling around you, but seeing him brought back memories of your last encounter, and you quickly put on a smile. “Hey there! Look at you, recognizing my laundry schedule too.”
“Thought I’d return the favor since you were kind enough to remember mine. Hope that’s okay,” he replied, his tone light.
You piled your laundry into the machine, carefully measuring out some freshly opened detergent. “It is.”
“Okay… I just want to apologize for being weird the last time we talked,” he said, shifting slightly as he leaned against the machine, his expression turning a bit more serious.
“There’s nothing to apologize for,” you assured him.
“I just… I don’t know.” He glanced down at the floor, his brows furrowing slightly. “My mind went blank, if I’m being honest.”
You smiled reassuringly. “I get that. Don’t worry your pretty little head over it.”
He looked up, a playful grin spreading across his face. “So you think I’m pretty?”
Fuck. “It’s… just an expression.”
He leaned against his machine, his gaze fixed on you. “Didn’t deny it, though.”
You chuckled, feigning exasperation and mirroring his posture against your own machine. “You’re a lot more cocky than I realized, Mr. Seungkwan.”
“Do you like that?”
The question caught you off guard, and for a moment, you were left speechless. Your mouth dropped open in surprise as your thoughts bounced from one corner of your mind to the other until finally, they found themselves running down between your legs in a new form of discomfort. “Umm…”
You turned away for a moment, breathing to steady yourself, gently patting away your very alive heart.
“I made it weird again, didn’t I?” he said, his voice laced with a hint of regret.
You spun back around, shaking your head. “No. No! It just took me by surprise.”
“Sorry about that.” Not sounding all that sorry.
“That’s…more than I’m used to,” you admitted, a slight heat creeping onto your cheeks.
“Thank you?” he replied, a grin tugging at his lips.
You let out a soft laugh, the sound brightening the air between you and making the moment feel lighter and more vibrant. Just then, the machine beeped, a sharp sound signaling that your clothes were done, pulling you away from the heated exchange.
A comfortable silence enveloped you both, but this time it felt different—like the crackling of kindling in the perfect moment when fireflies come out, illuminating the night as brightly as the stars in the sky. You exchanged a quiet glance, catching a glint reminiscent of those stars in his gaze, and for a second, it felt like the universe was telling you, ‘Hey, maybe there's something here.’
When you finally turned to leave, your smile was the biggest you’d ever had. And when he matched yours, it was like you had just won a bizarre lottery. You probably looked a bit unhinged, standing there grinning at nothing while swaying in the damp weather, but you didn’t care. The butterflies in your stomach danced happily, and you found yourself wishing you could hold on to this moment just a little longer, savoring the warmth it brought.
“You look happy.”
Not even the Ghostbusters’ final boss could ruin that for you.
“Cram it, Beetlejuice Lite,” you shot back, because although you’re in a good mood, you relished finding new names to call Jeonghan besides his own.
You hummed to yourself as you folded and neatly put away your clothes, feeling his cool, lingering presence behind you. He watched, like always—probably thinking up who put sugar in your cereal this morning for you to be in such an uppity mood.
“Well, I’ll be. You’re actually putting your clothes away like a functional human being?” His voice oozed mock surprise, but today, it just rolled right off you.
“Yep! Just felt like it,” you replied cheerfully, sliding the last of the shirts into your drawer with a satisfied nod.
“Strange. I thought laundry was your natural habitat now, seeing how often you’re in there… but I guess that’s thanks to a certain ‘living,’”
You snapped your drawer shut, the sound echoing through the room as you whipped around to glare at him, immediately pulling you away from the happiness you felt not that long ago. “You—”
“Seungkwan, wasn’t it? Cute kid. Didn’t quite peg him as your type, though.” He leaned against the wall, arms crossed, a self-satisfied smirk playing on his lips.
Your eyes narrowed, heart doing an involuntary somersault. Of course, he’d noticed. He seemed to notice everything, like some twisted version of a nosy neighbor, only this one didn’t have the decency to keep his opinions to himself. You wanted to fire back, but your brain was moving a step too slow, still caught up on the casual way he dropped Seungkwan's name. How long had he been watching you both at the laundromat?
“You’re stalking me outside of the apartment now?” you asked, raising an eyebrow.
“My spirit may be bound to this place,” he replied with an air of nonchalance, “but my soul can roam as it pleases.”
“Spirit? Soul? Aren’t they the same thing?”
He tilted his head, giving you a patronizing smile. “Not quite. My soul travels freely, observing everything within a reasonable distance—it’s not tethered to the apartment like my spirit is. My spirit stays here, out of my control.”
“So, you spied on me just because you could?”
"Call it research. Gathering intel." He shrugged. "Besides, it's not like you were doing anything interesting."
"Oh, I'm so glad I could provide you with such riveting entertainment.”
You shook your head, leaving the bedroom and closing the door behind you, only to have Jeonghan pass through it. "You know, for a ghost, you're surprisingly annoying."
"For a flesh-and-blood mortal, you're remarkably unfazed," he observes, his ethereal voice echoing slightly. "Most wouldn't last a day with my...unique brand of housekeeping."
You paused, a small smile tugging at your lips. "Yeah, well, I'm not most people."
“So,” he began, “about this Seungkwan guy…”
You stiffened, feeling your cheeks heat up. “What about him?”
“Just curious,” he replied casually, though there was a glint in his eyes. “He seems... nice.”
“He is,” you mumbled, suddenly finding your laundry far more interesting than the conversation again.
“And you like him?”
Your heart raced in your chest. “I don’t know,” you admitted, the words almost sticking in your throat. “Maybe.”
“Does he like you?”
You hesitated, fiddling with the edge of your sleeve. “…I don’t know yet.”
There was a beat of silence before he offered, “Want some help with that?”
“No. What? How would you even do that?” You narrowed your eyes, already regretting entertaining this conversation.
He started circling you, wearing a grin that screamed trouble, like a cat ready to pounce. “The only time my soul and spirit are truly joined,” he began in a low, conspiratorial tone, “is when I possess a body and take control of their flesh.”
You rolled your eyes. “Where is this going, Bloody Maury? Skip to the part that makes sense.”
He stopped directly in front of you, arms crossed. “Well, if you’re interested in ‘skipping to the good parts,’ I could possess your body. Help you say what’ll win over Seungkwan in no time.”
You stared at him, dumbfounded. “Why in the hell would I be dumb enough to let you do that?”
He snickered, leaning in with a smug look. “Because you’re desperate and haven’t slept with anyone the entire time we’ve lived together.”
“…You talk too much.”
“Think about it,” he continued, unbothered by your glare. “You’ve already got a foot in the door with him. You just need a little boost. I can help.”
You crossed your arms, narrowing your eyes. “This sounds like some high-level scheme to take over my body. Then I’ll end up stuck sharing it with a ghost, screaming into the depths of my soul for eternity. Thanks, but no thanks.”
He chuckled, shaking his head. “You’ve been watching too much supernatural TV. And besides, if I wanted to possess your body for good, I would’ve done it a long time ago. I do have some principles, you know. Consent and all.”
You shook your head, unimpressed. “Nope. I still can’t trust you, ghostie.”
Jeonghan, ever the persistent undead, didn’t know the meaning of giving up—and by now, you should’ve expected as much. And maybe, just maybe, his constant, incessant persuading was starting to wear you down. Sharing the same space day in and day out gave him the upper hand. He knew your quirks, your weak spots—the best and worst parts of you.
These past few days, you weren’t sure if you were going insane by agreeing with a ghost, or if he was actually starting to make some sense.
As you stared off at him, basking in the cool autumn air slipping through the balcony, you started to wonder if his intentions were not as venomous or malicious as you initially thought. There was a strange, quiet sadness in his eyes as if he longed for something he couldn’t put into words. Something that you couldn’t understand even if you tried.
“Am I really so pathetic that the ‘phantom reject’ is willing to help me with my love life?”
Jeonghan glanced at you with mild interest, noticing the way your curiosity had piqued. You sat comfortably on the couch, your elbow propped on the armrest, cheek nestled in your palm, as you observed him. He quietly approached, given that his feet were intangible and didn’t reach the ground, the silence was deafening and he lowered his head to level with you, staring back at you with so much intent it burned to feel his gaze.
He titled his head, brimming with pride. “Well, let’s just say I’ve never been rejected in my life. So.”
“You really think this’ll work for me?”you asked, skepticism lacing your tone.
“Of course,” he replied, with a grin. “You’ve got me.”
You were really considering it—letting a ghost help with your love life. Was this truly insane? Maybe. But it felt like it was worth a shot.
God, this was pathetic. And for once, you had something to be genuinely afraid of. And funny enough, it wasn’t possession. Until, well… maybe it was.
Life had never quite prepared you for this. Standing in your bedroom, surrounded by the overflowing pile of dirty clothes in the corner, you realized you’d put this off long enough—both the laundry and the body possession. You let out a shaky breath, glancing nervously from the mess to Jeonghan.
His presence loomed, just as insistent as the neglected chores, and you had to steady yourself, mentally sorting through how you’d ended up in this bizarre situation. Laundry? Fine. Ghost possession? Not something you thought was possible. You took a deep breath, forcing yourself to assess the ridiculousness of it all.
“Okay, Grim Peeper, let’s do this.”
Jeonghan chuckled softly as you tried, and failed, to shake off the nerves. His movements were deliberate as he approached, eyes narrowing in focus. He watched how the tension gripped your shoulders, the way your breath quickened despite your best efforts to stay calm. His presence felt heavier, and as he took his position in front of you, the air around him seemed to still.
You could feel the weight of what was about to happen, the looming absurdity of it all. Jeonghan, who usually exuded a kind of careless charm, now looked oddly concentrated, as if he were preparing for something he rarely had the chance to do. His expression, though still smug, carried a certain gravity. But in all honesty, he wasn’t really sure what to expect.
“I’m about to make contact,” Jeonghan said, his tone unusually serious. “It’s going to feel a bit disorienting at first—like a cold shiver running down your spine. But after a few seconds, your mind will adjust, and it’ll feel like nothing ever happened. My voice will echo in your head, almost like it’s your own thoughts. I’ll let you know when it’s me taking control.”
His hands hovered over your shoulders, a ghostly chill brushing against your skin. For a split second, there was something oddly reassuring in his dead, sullen eyes. "You'll be okay. I promise, nothing will go wrong."
You sighed, feeling the weight of the moment pressing down. "Alright, I trust you." Then you glanced at him, a small smirk forming. "But seriously, what do you get out of all this? Helping me, I mean. I won’t judge... Boo-dini."
He let out a short laugh, tilting his head slightly as if considering how to answer. “I…want to remember what it’s like to feel alive again. See what I missed out on.”
“That’s fair,” you nodded, understandably.
“Expected more from me, humie?”
You shrugged. “Thought you’d have a deeper back story, but that’s fine.”
Jeonghan scoffed softly, giving you a teasing smirk before he began. In an instant, he was there—and then he wasn’t. The shift was so sudden it left you reeling. Just as he’d predicted, a shiver rippled down your spine, cold and unsettling. But what he hadn’t mentioned were the flashes of unfamiliar images that flickered behind your eyes, moments you’d never lived but somehow felt were real.
They came and went so fast, you couldn’t make sense of them—fleeting fragments of his past, perhaps, or echoes of something even older.
‘How are you?’ he voice said, interrupting your thoughts.
You quietly nodded, reassuring him.
‘Very well then. Your lead, dear host.’
You wandered into the laundromat with your overstuffed hamper, feeling a bit like a laundry pirate hauling treasure—or dirty socks—across the high seas. You’d made the executive–and rightfully cowardly–decision to skip your usual laundry day, and now it was leading up to this very moment. Jeonghan stayed mostly dormant in your body as you claimed an empty machine, the back of your head itchy knowing another being was sharing your body that has led you this far. And now it was going to lead you to get laid.
It was like clockwork. Any minute now, Seungkwan would stroll in, and Jeonghan would take over, handling all the nerve-wracking nonsense you'd rather avoid.
‘Don’t be nervous,’ his voice echoed, ‘I almost thought it was my own heart racing, then I remembered I’m dead.’
“Sorry,” you muttered softly under your breath, ignoring the supernatural’s attempt at a joke.
‘It’s fine. Everything will be fine.’
“I know,” you sighed.
“You know what?”
You spun around, facing Seungkwan, who’d entered with that casual, friendly energy you always admired. He smiled, raising an eyebrow at your startled expression.
"Seungkwan!" you blurted out, trying to push the embarrassment down as far as it would go.
“Hey, neighbor,” he greeted, already moving toward his machine, gently separating colors from whites. “How are you?”
“Good—Great! Why do you ask?”
He gave you a light shrug, glancing up with a playful grin. “Just sounded like you were talking to yourself.”
“Well, who doesn’t?” you quipped, trying to play it cool. “Sometimes thinking out loud helps clear the head noise, right?”
“Right,” he said, stretching with an amused smile, clearly entertained by your odd, jittery energy.
‘Wow, thank god you have me.’
You quietly cursed Jeonghan in your head for making this harder than it needed to be, before mustering up the nerve to approach Seungkwan, fingers nervously fidgeting.
"Hey, so... you mentioned you were going to be out of town for Halloween, right?"
Seungkwan looked up, surprised and then grinned. "You remembered! Yeah, what’s up?"
You hesitated for a second, feeling Jeonghan’s smug presence lingering somewhere in the back of your mind. "I thought..."
Seungkwan leaned casually against the now-humming washer, hands tucked in his pockets, his curious gaze fixed on you. "Yeah?"
You tried to keep your cool, but the moment the words "we could do something" left your mouth, your brain started to short-circuit. Seungkwan turned to you with that easygoing grin of his, waiting for you to elaborate, and you could already feel the awkwardness creeping in.
Jeonghan’s voice chimed in, ‘You’re fumbling. Let me take over.’
Before you could protest, the familiar shiver ran down your spine. Suddenly, everything felt distant—your limbs moved, but you weren't fully in control anymore.
Jeonghan’s smooth voice came out of your mouth as if it were the most natural thing in the world. "I was thinking, maybe we could hang out before you head out of town? You know, catch a movie, grab a drink, something low-key, say my place?"
Seungkwan's smile widened, surprised but clearly intrigued. "You want to hang out with me?”
Jeonghan, still in control of your voice, replied effortlessly, "Of course." Before you could even process what was happening, your feet began to move on their own, gliding across the floor like a spy on a secret mission. Jeonghan closed the distance between you and Seungkwan, and suddenly, your hands were fidgeting with the hem of Seungkwan's shirt. “I figure it’s a good excuse to steal some of your time before Halloween hits."
Your heart raced, and you mentally screamed at Jeonghan, Okay, okay, that’s enough! I can take it from here!
But he was on a roll. "Tomorrow?" Seungkwan asked, leaning casually against the washing machine, though the way he shifted his weight from foot to foot betrayed his nervousness. His cheeks were flushed, and his eyes sparkled with a mix of curiosity and uncertainty.
"Tomorrow’s perfect," Jeonghan responded smoothly, maintaining the effortless flow of the conversation. "I’ll text you the details."
With each word, your body felt like it was moving on autopilot, and while you were horrified by the lack of control, a part of you couldn't help but feel a rush of exhilaration. Jeonghan was nailing it, but the closeness to Seungkwan was almost too much to handle.
Suddenly, Seungkwan playfully entwined his fingers with yours, his touch sending a jolt of warmth through your hand, as his grin graced his face. Your eyes fluttered shut for a brief moment, savoring the warmth of the connection. When you opened them, you found an unreadable expression on his face—intense and smoldering. “Sounds like a plan,” he said, his voice slightly softer now. “Looking forward to it.”
The way he held your gaze made your heart skip a beat, and for a moment, the world around you faded into a soft blur. Even though Jeonghan was in control, your thoughts tangled with the heat of the moment, coursing through you like a fever.
As soon as Seungkwan turned away to his laundry with a lingering grin, Jeonghan released control, and the reins were back in your hands. You blinked, still a bit disoriented from the possession.
‘See? Easy,’ Jeonghan’s voice echoed smugly in your mind.
‘You’re impossible,’ you shot back.
‘But effective.’
That night, you tackled all the prep work you knew you needed to get done. It had been a while since you’d done anything like this, and you definitely had some dust bunnies and spiderwebs in your attic.
“Humie–oh.”
“Jeonghan! What the hell?” Your eyes flew open as you scrambled to pull the shower curtain over your bare legs, the chill of the water sending a shiver up your spine from the products strewn haphazardly at the edge of the sink. “Do you fucking mind?”
“Well, well. Look at you, all cleaned up. At least yourself, anyway. Can’t say the same for the bathroom floor—or that mountain of grooming products over there.”
You gripped your makeshift cover-up a little tighter, groaning in frustration. “Privacy, please! I barely have any as it is.”
“I’m just saying, I’m proud of you. Now, if you manage to sweep up after, I might even give you a round of applause.”
“Out!” you snapped, glaring.
He shrugged, turning to leave with an impish grin. “Hey, roommates catch each other with their pants down one way or another.”
If you weren’t already a bundle of nerves, Jeonghan was getting far too comfortable for your liking. Leading up to that night and the big day, he had been dishing out advice on everything from what to wear to what movie to play, right down to critiquing the meager food stock in your fridge.
“That’s it, you need to go grocery shopping.”
“I can't afford that right now!”
“Just get Instacart. I don’t care. This apartment is as bare-bones as it gets.”
“I have popcorn, soda, and some chocolate for Halloween when I'm giving them out.”
“First of all, popcorn isn’t actually food. Second, prebiotic soda doesn’t count as real soda. And if you can get chocolate, then you can definitely manage to buy some real groceries.”
But just as you were about to respond, luck decided to abandon you with a sharp knock at the door. “No time!” you hissed, “now scr—oh, you’re already gone.”
One moment he was there, and the next, he had vanished. Now, it was all on you, and nothing felt more nerve-wracking. You tugged your shorts down just enough to cover the rest of your bottom, anxiety buzzing in your chest. Your hand hovered over the doorknob as you took a deep breath, trying to muster some confidence before swinging it open to reveal who was waiting outside.
“Seungkwan, hey!”
“Hey!” he grinned, his Halloween-themed vest adding a playful touch to his outfit as he juggled a couple of bags in his arms. “You didn’t ask, but I thought I’d surprise you with some food. Pumpkin-spiced spaghetti and meatballs.”
“Oh, uhhh…”
He burst into laughter, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “I’m just messing with you! It’s actually butternut squash gnocchi and some stuffed peppers that look like pumpkins.”
“Oh, thank God! That sounds amazing.”
“Yeah, it’s festive without going overboard.”
You nodded in agreement, feeling a warm rush of relief. “Come in.”
As you stepped aside to let him in, you couldn’t help but notice how wholesomely he was dressed compared to your casual attire. Suddenly, you felt a pang of self-consciousness.
“I like your sweater,” you said, trying to mask your growing insecurity.
He looked down, a hint of modesty crossing his face. “Yeah, I think it’s just the right amount of festive, but—”
“It’s festive but not overboard,” you responded, playfully tossing his words right back at him.
He grinned, “Exactly!”
You smiled back, feeling a wave of warmth as Seungkwan's presence began to calm your nerves. As he settled into the familiar space of your apartment, you couldn’t help but discreetly scan the room for any signs of your ghoulish roommate. Half-relieved to find nothing, half-disappointed that your spectral “backup” was nowhere in sight, you let out a quiet sigh. And now it was just you—and the human you actually invited in.
Hesitantly, you eased into the spot next to him on the couch, feeling a knot tighten in your stomach. Your hands were jittery as you picked up the remote, scrolling through the movies you’d lined up, your mind racing to figure out what to do next.
You glanced at him, hoping for some sort of sign or direction, but the words caught in your throat. The longer you scrolled, the more painfully aware you became of the silence, as if it only heightened the nervous tension taking over your body, weirdly missing Jeonghan and how flawlessly he executed what he did yesterday.
"So, movies," you said, aiming the remote at the TV.
"Movies," he echoed, mimicking your tone.
“I mean,” You raised a brow. "What do you have in mind? And there is a right answer."
He chuckled, scratching the back of his head. "Alright, I love Halloween, but..."
"But?" you pressed, leaning in slightly.
"I... really can’t handle scary movies. Halloween Town is probably my limit."
"Halloween Town? The kids’ movie?"
"Hey, don’t knock it. They had great graphics!"
"They had awful graphics!" you shot back, incredulous.
He grinned, half-joking but clearly standing by his point. "Yeah, now. But for its time?”
You shook your head in playful disbelief, unable to hold back a smile. “You’re ridiculous. But fine, your choice.”
You were left with very few options. Seungkwan had suggested a few festive, family-friendly titles, but you managed to persuade him to consider a couple of mild thrillers—some stupid but perfectly on theme.
“The zombie version of Twilight? Seriously? Zombies?" he repeated, stressing the idea with disbelief.
You shrugged, smiling from his reaction. “You might like it.”
He dropped his head in defeat, cute little whines escaping his pursed lips. “Fine, but you’d better be my shield for this, okay, neighbor?”
The movie began to play, the take-out boxes popped open, and your nerves were on high alert, vibrating like something else does on a normal Friday night for you. Except now, it was just you and the incredible realization that the man you're very much interested in was mere inches away. You were a fucking wreck.
Surprisingly, Seungkwan was genuinely enjoying the film, finding unexpected humor and charm in the cringeworthy blockbuster. His laughter was soothing and infectious, gradually easing your nerves until you started to feel normal again. Why were you like this?
Wait, you felt normal again, but what was normal?
Before you fully grasped what had happened in that fleeting moment of clarity, your hand made contact with Seungkwan, trailing lightly up his forearm. He immediately turned to face you, and your eyes locked, but suddenly they felt as if they belonged to someone else as if you were watching a different kind of film—a film where you were a separate character, experiencing everything from an alternate reality.
“Seungkwan,” your voice spoke, sounding foreign and distant as if someone else were taking control. Jeonghan?
‘It was so painful to watch.’
Jeonghan guided your hand to brush against Seungkwan's ear, teasingly grazing the tip and relishing the warmth that bloomed between your fingers.
“Hey,” he replied, his nerves speaking for him. “Is something wrong?”
A low chuckle escaped from the depths of your throat, echoing Jeonghan’s playful menace. “You didn’t think we were just going to watch a movie, did you?”
Seungkwan audibly gulped, his eyes darting around as anxiety crept in. “We aren’t?”
“What’s the matter?” Jeonghan leaned in closer, your lips brushing against Seungkwan’s ear. “Where’s that confidence you had yesterday?”
Seungkwan suddenly tossed a pillow onto his lap, speechless and blushing fiercely. “Sorry,” he stammered, caught off guard. “I never anticipated—”
“Oh, really? You never expected to do something other than watching movies?” Your hand gently cupped his cheek, and you could feel Seungkwan melt into your touch with a gentle whimper.
A delighted sigh escaped you, fueled by Jeonghan’s newfound confidence coursing through your veins as your thumb traced the curve of Seungkwan’s Adam’s apple, feeling the rapid thrum of his pulse beneath your fingertips.
“You didn’t think for a second, I’d–you know–keep the night as is, did you?”
He softly groaned in his throat, feeling the tension seep inside him. “Are you suggesting?”
“I don’t want to just watch movies with you, Seungkwan. It’d be more fun to make our own. Isn’t that right?”
“...yes. God, yes.”
He leaned in, cradling your face in his hands, and pressed his lips to yours in a swift, hungry kiss, sending a surge of electricity through you as your tension unraveled in waves. His weight dipped against your body, pinning you against the rough tweed of the couch. His soft moans mingled with your breaths, muffled yet threatening, as if he were desperate to let loose and explore the desire in his heart while you were within reach.
‘That’s it.’
Your hand held the back of his head, catching strands between your fingers and tugged, ravaging his lips as if it’d be the last time you’d get a chance. You weren’t sure when Jeonghan gave you back your control, but in the heat of the moment, none of it mattered.
He tasted like a life force, fueling the fire burning in your loins and the fire kindling in your stomach; he had you wanting more with every passing second. His hands grabbed you recklessly, throwing his weight against you and squeezing your flesh until it was tender and malleable in his hands. This wasn’t something to unfold on the couch, you thought—not when a big, inviting bed lay just a few steps away, calling for you.
Your feet regained enough feeling to guide you off the couch, and before you knew it, you were stumbling toward your room, feverish and driven, with no thought of turning back. Your hands found his clothes, teasing beneath his holiday vest and up his torso, admiring the smooth flush of skin that graced your senses. He gasped, succumbing to your excitement and leaned into it, falling seamlessly into your rhythm.
“Didn’t want to stretch this, but,” he pulled the vest and shirt beneath over his head, tossing them aside in the corner. You let your hand linger longer on his body, running along the curve of his spine as he pulled you closer.
Seungkwan grasped your waist, savoring your lips with gentle strokes of his tongue before lifting you from the ground and onto the bed. Your bodies crushed against one another, peeling off articles of clothing one piece at a time until you were almost bare, expertly taking you apart to have you whole. All to himself as far as he knew.
“Seungkwan,” you called out in pleas, hands cradling the back of his neck as his hair fell over his eyes. “I want you so bad…”
“You’re telling me,” he managed to breathe out,  gripping your underwear at its hem and scrapping it over your hips as he pulled them down. “I’ve thought about you ever since I met you.”
Your heart bloomed in your chest, pleasantly startled by his confession. Your hands ran through his hand, pushing them over his forehead despite knowing they’d only fall back in place. “You were always so…friendly.”
He smiled, pressing it against the corner of your lips and decorating your cheeks and jaw with kisses. “Yeah. I always hoped that we’d be more than just friendly.”
“Well, mission accomplished.” You pulled him back into a lip lock, parting your legs to give him access.
‘Look at all the fun you’re having.’
Jeonghan was like a wandering whisper, weaving through your thoughts as Seungkwan enveloped your senses. Seungkwan’s hands were on your body, touching what’s yours and making it his, where Jeonghan could feel it as much as you could, and you knew it. He got off on this just as much as you did.
‘Feel him rubbing that pretty pussy of yours.’
“So wet…” Seungkwan said with ache, sounding like he was pleading.
His digits found your sensitivity and thumbed over your clit, stimulating you until your voice rang but the last thing you were doing was speaking. You became fluent in moans, fluid in body language, and perfect in Seungkwan. Your breath dragged on, panting against him as your leg hooked to his side, holding him with urgency.
‘So fucking horny…you were begging to be fucked, hmm?’
You couldn’t help but nod, hand lowering to find Seungkwan’s raging erection just within reach. He softly gasped, thrusting into your touch as you held his shaft, stroking his length that felt so full in your hands. So stiff, yet warm to the touch, almost tasting the tension on your tongue.
‘Look at that size, huh? Imagine how that feels in you. Stretching your pussy and making you feel so full? Doesn’t that sound amazing?’
“I need you in me Seungkwan.” You begged in desperate pants, gripping him by the forearms. “I want to feel you inside me.”
There was a certain eagerness in his eyes, the kind that said he would do anything and everything for you in a heartbeat and succeed. You weren’t dealing with any average guy that wanted to get off. “Fuck,” he whispered, before lifting his upper body, putting himself on full display.
His physique was magnificent in every way, tantalizing and captivating like nothing you’ve ever encountered. You had an inkling of what he looked like under all his clothes, the veins always so prominent on his forearms and hands when he strained to reach something on a shelf, the line of his back when his lifted shirt revealed just a sliver of skin, or his wide hips, baring an ass so round and full they look like they came straight out of the oven. Never have you ever wanted to run your hands over something, nor have you ever wanted to sink your teeth into something. Yet, here was Seungkwan: utterly delectable.
Seungkwan dragged you by the ankles, moving you effortlessly as he angled himself between your legs, your molten heat practically dripping at the sight of him. His groan bounced off the walls, hand coming over your inner thighs and gently massaging your skin. As his kisses started to pepper over your legs, you felt your pussy physically throb, damned to eternal craving.
“You look like heaven,” He cried against your thighs. “Any protection?”
“It’s right–oh.” You picked up a rubber conveniently left at your nightstand, then handed it to Seungkwan. You‘re welcome.’
He set it aside with a smile and instead of putting it on, his face fell on your heat. He tasted you like it was worship; the dance of his tongue was his prayers, while your response flowed like a cascade of blessings. You whined when you felt him pursed around your clit, teeth barely grazing you as he sucked down like you’re the last bit of syrup in a dessert.
At the same time, his eyes glazed over to yours, a hand hovering over your chest, inaudibly asking permission, and when you gave him a wordless nod, he grabbed handfuls of your breasts. He kneaded you between his knuckles, rolling your buds between his fingers, and having you surrender to his chase.
“Seungkwan, please…”
Seungkwan’s eyes glimmered with pride, a sultry testament to the depth of his exploration. The longer he ventured, the more you found ogasmic relief, feeling every ounce of his efforts and every ounce of his pleasure. You held him by his hair, leg anchoring over his back, feeling his tongue massage your inner walls. His voice vibrates inside you, somehow stealing your breath, and filling you with utter euphoria.
‘You feel that? How much he wants you? How much he craves you. He’s been waiting for this day. And you should reward him. Don’t you think?’
You tugged him up, watch him gasping for air, replace one pair of lips with another. You flipped him on his back, gaining momentum, and relishing in the power of control, and swallowing his gasps. You aligned the hilt of his cock towards you, ensuring you wrapped it protection before it sat between the slit of your folds.
Seungkwan tilted his head back, his eyes glistening with desire as he admired you, his gaze revealing his thoughts like an open book.  "You're so sexy," he murmured, the words spilling out without hesitation. While his look said it all, hearing it felt like a heated rush of affirmation, and it made you want him more.
You pushed his length in you, feeling his size pulsate through you, and a moan managed to pass through your lips. Shivers ran down through you, goosebumps pebbling your skin, and you realized the raging presence of Seungkwan was going to be the death of you. As he rocked inside you, he held your hips in place, guiding your form up and down on lap, adjusting to your squeeze, and adjusting to how it contracts. “Oh my god, please, you’re driving me crazy.”
“Just like I wanted,” You teased.
Your lips brushed against his neck, grazing your teeth over his skin before making passionate kisses to his neck, grinding down on his body until there isn’t a hint of space between your bodies. You were growing weary–albeit needy–chasing a high that was so close to be conquered. You felt it, Seungkwan felt it, and damn well Jeonghan felt it. You needed more, just a little more.
Suddenly, the air was knocked out of your lungs, as if something vital had escaped from within you, and your movements were put to a halt.
“Sorry,” you apologize, pushing the hair way from your face. “Not sure what happened. I promise–”
“Don’t apologize to me, Humie.”
You heard his voice—or rather, an echo of Jeonghan’s voice—calling from below you, and as you met his gaze in Seungkwan’s eyes, your expression widened in shock. “Jeonghan,” you declared menacingly.
“In the flesh. Well, not my own, but you get the idea,” he quipped.
You nudged at the body beneath you, careful of not hurting the host. “Get out of this poor human’s body right now! What happened to consent?”
“Oh, he’s very much consenting to the thrill of this level of intimacy,” Jeonghan replied, a teasing grin spreading across his face.
“Not when it involves a literal ghost!”
“Relax, he won’t remember a thing. My spirit won’t let him. All he’ll recall is the good time he had,” the body thief winked playfully.
“Bullshit! Do what’s right and let the boy go.”
“But I am doing what’s right.” His grip tightened around your hips, pushing Seungkwan’s cock deeper in you as if it was possible and ebbing weak moans from as he pulled you closer, a wicked smile dancing on his lips. “So right.”
“J-Jeonghan,” you stammered, your pulse quickening.
“I just couldn’t take it anymore, Humie. You looked absolutely ravishing. I had to experience you for myself.”
Your head was screaming all kinds of denial, but your body thrived off his confidence, his energy was flowing through you, splitting through you and hitting a spot of pliancy. This was so wrong. “This…this is violating…for him…”
“But you love it, don’t you? It’s like a wicked thrill, a tantalizing pleasure that feeds your deepest, most tumultuous desires.”
You scoffed, trying to ignore the pulsating cock rocking your very core. “And what kind of desires is that?”
“You want us both,” he answered plainly. “The human and me.”
You shook your head, fingers tightening around Seungkwan’s shoulders in a desperate bid for security as you fought against Jeonghan’s seductive temptations. “You’re out of your mind.”
“Then, why don’t you get off of me?”
“It’s Seungkwan I can’t get off of,” You clarified.
You could recognize Jeonghan’s smile, even though it was plastered on Seungkwan’s face—so conniving, so devilish. It exuded an intoxicating power that was inhumane, but irresistible. “But it's me you’re riding–and fucking hell–you look so good doing it.”
“Jeonghan…” You whimpered, pleading for release from his coercion, but as you feared, mercy eluded you entirely.
“Yes,” His palm rode up your body, his lips parting in haughty confidence. “Beg for me, beg for me to fuck you full.”
“...Fuck it. I want you to fuck me full.” You accepted him, feeling the tension of the cock inside you, ripple waves straight into your heat.
Mindlessly, you accepted his domineering hand that landed on your mouth, feeling it travel past your lips, parting way with his thumb. You wrapped your lips around his digits, sucking them like candy, and the shame that once enveloped your paradoxical feelings dissipated, leaving only a deep hunger in its wake.
Whether it was Jeonghan or Seungkwan beneath you, it was all true to its very core. You had an undeniable infatuation for your cute neighbor and a strange fascination with the handsome ghost. The connection you felt with both was more than palpable, leaving you with an unexplained frenzy of emotions that would require extensive therapy. You knew the logical choice was the one who was alive, but you had never considered that you could have both—especially not in such a chaotic, unorthodox three-way.
“Look at what a slut you are for us, your lips so perfect wrapped around these slender fingers of his.”
“What the fuck is wrong with me?” you quietly muttered to yourself, grinding harder, sucking Seungkwan’s fingers deeper, and gradually succumbing to Jeonghan’s demands.
Jeonghan let out a deep, rolling laugh that resonated from Seungkwan’s core, a sound so rich and dark it sent a momentary unease through you. “You’re simply giving into your desires, why fight it?”
“You damn well know why,” you spat out his fingers and gritted your teeth.
“Now that’s not nice,” His hand covered the shape of your ass, cupping them in his palms, “Do I need to show you how to be nicer to me?”
“Jeonghan,” you groaned, feeling his digits dig into your flesh as he spread them apart.
“What’s that, baby?” he experimented, “Looks like I have to make this a teaching opportunity after all? Because you can’t show your gratitude?”
“Jeonghan, please.”
“Well, if you insist.” With an unexplainable, arcane, supernatural force, the dynamics were switched and Jeonghan had you on your stomach, ass conveniently placed in from of him.
“Jeonghan!”
"I always knew you looked good from every angle, but wow—this one is something else." His hand glided over your curves, Seungkwan’s cock splitting down your divide, you grasped your thirst.
Anticipation was wreaking havoc on your sanity, leaving you in a deafening silence as you waited for Jeonghan to make his move, impatience following. “Will you just–”
A hand clashed against your backside, your skin stinging from impact, and relieving you from a ched yelp. Jeonghan braced you against a groin, the erection nudging at your skin. “So needy,” he chuckled. You felt the tip tease along your slip, eventually filling you up in that familiar way.
You whimper, the size still enticingly foreign, and back into his weight, feel yourself travel all the way down to the base.
“An impatient,” Jeonghan softly groans, grounding himself to you in careful, yet sharp thrusts.
You balled your sheets into fists, your voice muffled as you buried your face in a pillow.
He chuckled against his skin. “That good?”
“Y-yes,” you helplessly whispered.
He slammed down on you, releasing a squeaky spring sound from the bed, both embarrassing and strangely arousing. “Even when I do that?”
“Yes…more please…”
Jeonghan repeated the move, finding a steady rhythm, and watched as your skin and flesh recoiled back against him. He could feel his host basking in the intensity of this pleasure, tears swelling his eyes as your moans echoed in his ears, memorizing from the decibels your voice reached, to the way you looked from behind, and even how the flesh of thighs spilled when you collapsed wearily on the mattress.
“Insane,” He said in hushed whispers.
“Stop it,” you whined.
“Stop what? Showing you how fucking perfect you are taking my cock?” He grunted.
You pressed your lips in a firm lip, clawing down on the bed as your core tightened, every pound drilling into you, giving into his indulgence and taking you along with him. He made every thrust count as the echo of skin slapping faded into the background.
“Oh please, help me cum.” You begged. “Please, please, please…”
His pace quickened, his rhythm erratic. “Yeah, you want you cum coat around my cock like a good little whore.”
“Yes, Jeonghan please, just give it to me.”
“You asked, and you shall receive.”
Finally, he bottomed out into you, unleashing the reins he held to prolong this moment and cut them lose. Your body was no longer yours, weakened by the spirit draining your energy. Your jaw fell slack, unable to close, a waning moaning stretching for miles, ecstasy coursing through your veins.
You said one name, then another, and then again. This was really confusing but you were here, pounded into obvious for what it seems like endlessly, until you realized you were full and not with what you had initially anticipated. In the remenance of fatigue from the sex, you fail to notice the lack of protetction seeing as proof of you supernatural rendezvous was seeping out of you like a slow river.
“Jeonghan!”
“What?” he drowsily answered as he claimed the side of the bed besides you, evidently using the extent of Seungkwan’s body.
“What the fuck happened to the condom?”
“Please, that’s my own cum.”
“Excuse me?”
“Ectoplasm, you know. Comes from all sorts of places.”
“I hate you so much—am I gonna get pregnant with ghost kids?”
“Relax, and no you aren’t. It’s as effective as…something really ineffective–fuck, I’m tired.”
“And Seungkwan. What about Seungkwan?”
“He’s fine and his release became as good as mine when I possessed his body. His soul is asleep right about now, having a catnap. Now come here.” he pulled you towards him, throwing your covers over you and keeping you away from the draft into to room, slipping you into his arms. “Stop tiring yourself out any further and rest. Everything will be fine when he wakes up like a man that got laid: amazing.”
“Fine,” muttered with heavy eye lids, “but only because im really tired.”
And from that moment sleep was easy.
You woke up to those same arms, now only asleep and less “ghost-like” and snuggled up closer to him, a newly acclaimed heat source. A soft chuckle escaped him, holding you tighter in his embrace as a kiss fell on the top of your forehead. “Hey there.”
You smile, cupping the side of his face in your hand. “Hi.”
“That was amazing, you’re amazing,” he said, planting another kiss on your nose. “Is it weird to say it felt so good I kinda blacked out?”
“Ha,” you shook your head, knowing the truth, “No, but thank you for the massive compliment.”
He grinned, a flush of red coating his cheeks, before pulling you into a deep and wonderful kiss, entanging his legs with yours. He seeped into realization when he found the mess between your legs, untouched since sex. “Oh shit, i did that, didn’t i?”
“It’s okay, I…have some sort of protection.”
“One moment.” Seungkwan came up naked from the bed, momentarily left the room, and with a noticeably wet hand towel. “I usually have an extra clean one on hand for after my workout. Glad I brought a backpack for no reason today.
As he inched closer, he sat between your legs, uncovering you from the blanket, and politely asked if he could help. When he received your consent, he brought it up to the mess, gently swiping between every crevice, ridding any remnants of cum that might have been left over.
“You didn’t have to do this,” you reassure, visibly gushing.
“Of course, I do.” He insisted, a sincere smile gracing his features. “It's my pleasure taking care of you.”
It was so disorienting going from the original to Jeonghan’s version and back to the original Seungkwan. As if you were once looking through a window of an alternate reality. Still a lot to process what happened.
“I don’t usually do this,” you try explaining yourself, “I just…I’ve been into you for a long time and I just thought, maybe, you felt the same.”
“I do,” he pressed his lips to your inner thigh. “A lot.”
“So you wouldn’t mind seeing me again?”
“I wouldn’t object to the idea,” he grinned, “especially if we get to do what we did to make me black out in the first place.”

Genre: family chaos, fluff (kinda), they have three daughters (Scoups is so girl dad coded sorry not sorry), the youngest is a drama queen, husband-wife-dynamic, pet names (love, honey, baby) no warnings
Synopsis: Seungcheol, a devoted father of three daughters, finds himself in the midst of chaos on his free day as he juggles parenting duties while his wife is at work. In a desperate attempt to maintain order, he FaceTimes her, seeking advice and connection amidst the mayhem.
---
The living room was a battlefield of toys, spilled juice, and laughter that bordered on uncontrollable chaos. The energetic trio—Seungha, Jiyoung, and the youngest Cheolmin- were testing their father’s patience and multitasking abilities.
Seungcheol, a mixture of exhaustion and determination etched across his face, glanced at the clock, realizing it was almost time to cook dinner. He fumbled with his phone, fingers tapping anxiously as he dialed your number.
The screen flickered to life, revealing you, busy in your office. You greeted him with a warm smile. "Hey, love. I need your expertise. It's a war zone here."
You chuckled, understanding the struggle. "What's going on?"
Seungcheol pointed the phone toward the whirlwind of activity behind him. "Our kids decided it's the perfect day for mayhem."
"Well, first things first. Take a deep breath. You're doing great." You added.
Seungcheol managed a weak smile, the chaos blaring in the background. "Any tips on taming this madness?"
“Maybe set up an activity to keep them engaged. And don't forget about snacks!" You spoke.
Your husband nodded, attempting to corral the little ones. "Got it. Anything else?"
"And most importantly, don't hesitate to ask for help. Maybe call in reinforcements—my mom is probably not that busy. I feel like calling your brother would also help.”
The dad sighed, realizing the truth in your words. "I just miss having you here."
Your expression softened. “I miss you too, honey. Just wait until I get back home. It won’t take long, I promise!“
As the chaos continued, Seungcheol felt a renewed sense of determination. "Thanks, love. I think I’ll handle this.”
“Mommy!” A happy squeal came out from the youngest child. “Cheolmin, my baby!” you squealed back at your daughter. Cheolmin climbed onto your husband’s lap and took over the phone call.
“Have you been behaving well?” You asked her.
Silence. Her dad looked at her. And she looked back at him. A laugh escaped your mouth.
She was witty just like you but resembled her dad a lot. That is what made you laugh. Both of them were just too cute to handle.
“Yes mom. I did.” She proudly answered. Your husband rolled his eyes funnily at her statement and pinched her cheeks playfully: “You little liar. Look at you hiding your real you in front of your mom.” He smiled and laughed at his daughter.
Since Cheolmin was a bit sensitive due to her lack of energy she abruptly started crying. Seungcheol panicked and looked at you with his eyes widening. “Oh no- baby- that’s not what I meant. I’m so so sorry.” Your husband wiped her tears away and kissed his daughter’s cheek softly.
After Cheolmin had calmed down her drowsiness drove her into sleep. Later on she fell asleep in Seungcheols arms. He signaled a wait and placed his phone- with his daughter still hugging his neck- on a table making you wait for him.
When Seungcheol entered the girls room the two other girls were sleeping peacefully in their beds. Letting out a quiet sigh he tucked his girls into their beds making sure that the cold did not get to them.
He came back to the living room and took a seat on the couch. “Mrs Choi, are you still there?”
“Yes. Oh my- you made it. It was so quiet all of the sudden.” You answered.
“I don’t know how they fell asleep but they did eventually. This is crazy. Love, how do even manage to do that every day? This isn’t easy at all!”
“I don’t know. Maybe they just listen better to their mother.” You chuckled.
“Oh, damn.” Seungcheol scratched the back of his head. “Well, that could be a reason.”
You grinned, blowing a kiss through the screen.
“I’m sorry to break it to you, but I really gotta go back to work honey.” You exclaimed.
“No worries, baby. Just come home early. I miss you badly.”
“I will, Sir.” You both laughed.
“Love you.”
“I love you too.”
And with that the chaotic face time call had ended.
You couldn’t wait to get off work just to see your lovely family. That was your only motivation to finish quickly.

hi!!!!!! can i request the minecraft post u did for the dateables but for the brothers? i love ur writing sm it's so cute <3333
obey me brothers playing minecraft with you
Tumblr media
thank you so much for the love <33 this was actually a lot of fun to write because all of these men are so very ridiculous. cheers to my first ever request!
[dateables version]
content warnings: language, bullying the villagers, killing the animals, you know how minecraft is
Tumblr media
prompt: you've somehow convinced these guys to play minecraft, a human world game, one night, just the two of you. but how exactly does that experience go?
{established relationship, obey me x reader with the brothers}
Lucifer
oh. oh peepaw.
you really have to coax this man into playing with you. he's perfect at everything, all the time-- to engage in activity like this one, in front of you of all people, wounds his ego more than he'd like to admit. he doesn't want you to see him be bad at something. what if you no longer respect him? what if his inability to comprehend the little block people's actions are enough to ruin your love for him? he's genuinely distressed about this (not that he'd let it show), but you seem interested, so he reluctantly agrees.
two key things are necessary when playing minecraft with lucifer: patience and teamwork.
leaving him to do any task alone is daunting. the perfectionism paralyzes him a bit in these moments. take him with you! collect wood together, mine in the same mineshaft, hunt monsters together-- all of it starts to ease his mind when you work together. he starts to focus not on his pride but his love for you and spending quality time by your side.
as time progresses, he does eventually get a grip in the controls and mechanics-- well, as much as you can expect a dinosaur like him to understand. you still do a lot of tasks together in-game, but it's more of camaraderie thing by that point. he just likes being by your side, okay? don't make him say it, or you'll be hunting monsters by yourself bestie.
lucifer is also a really big fan of the soundtrack. it's so simple yet well-composed, a stark different to that garish video game music levi listens to. please play with the sound up and let him enjoy the sound of the rain intermingling with the music; his relaxed face is very cute.
Mammon
what's that? you wanna play minecraft with the great mammon? of course you do! he's gonna be the best player you've ever seen, just ya wait-- what's that? no, he's never touched the game before, but he knows he'll be fantastic. watch and learn, baybee, cuz the great mammon is here to show up and show out.
what he lacks in skill, he makes up several times over in enthusiasm. this is important, because he absolutely lacks skill.
mammon is a dangerous combination of unobservant and overenthusiastic, leading to every stupid situation you can think of. he thinks he sees an important resource, so he leaves for juuust a second... boom. he's lost. he somehow manages to attract lava in every. single. cave. at this point, you have to ban him from carrying anything important.
one thing he is good at is monster hunting. he's made it his mission from day 1 to protect you, whether it be real life or in a video game. he'll face a monster-- enderman, creeper, sneaky skeleton, you name it-- without an ounce of fear if it means you'll live another in-game day (some might call this excessive, but you just call it cute).
like everything with mammon, sometimes his instinct to protect you goes overboard. he tries to ban you from entering the mines and going outside at night because what if a monster gets you, human?? fortunately for you, he never figured out how to run in-game, so just sprint past him and carry on.
on a completely unrelated note-- this greedy motherfucker (said with SO much affection) hordes all the treasures in-game like a dragon. his goal is to build you two a mansion of diamond and gold. this is very cute if you once again ignore the fact that he keeps FALLLING IN LAVA with all his vauables. y'all are never getting anywhere in this game.
Leviathan
levi is, hands down, the best person to play minecraft with. you don't have to teach him a thing-- in fact, he's probably the one that brought it up to you!
he's very pleased that you'd indulge in one of his hobbies like this, regardless of whether you actually play video games or not. just the thought of you there, sitting next to him, hanging out with him because you want to be around a shut-in otaku like him... the thought gives him butterflies.
... y'all can't actually share a house by the way. he gets too flustered. make a joke about putting your minecraft beds together and he's blushing. it does not matter how long you've been together, his reaction will always be the same.
he's one of the only ones that you can progress through the game with. bashful levi is amazing in the mines. he's got a system down pat that'll help you guys find your way back to the entry point, where he's set up a base camp with chests and resources so you won't have to resurface until you're done. smart, right?
y'all actually go to the nether and the end. he's very quick to pick up the game's mechanics and use his luck to to help you guys progress. every victory is shared; what's the fun of winning if you're not winning together?
levi will play with you basically any time you ask. he loves when you refer to it as "our minecraft world". better yet, praise him for all his hard work in making your world and watch him melt. he's just a sucker for your love, and the fact that he's actually good at this activity makes him all the more happy to do it with you.
Satan
satan doesn't really know much about this game that you're describing, but he's willing to play it with you if you're really that interested. he's always ready to learn more about things from the human world; when you tell him this is one of the most popular games up on earth, he wants to try it at least once.
satan is not the best in general at video games, but he's quick-witted and resourceful, so the two of you get by just fine. the problem mostly lies in the fact that satan's audacity gets you into trouble sometimes. there is no little voice in his head telling him not to do something potentially dangerous and stupid, especially if there's some reward to gain on the other side. he is fully convinced he can take on an iron golem with a stone sword and no armor, just you watch--
be carefully with letting him run around freely. there's lots of ways to die in this game, and each failure pokes at the embers of wrath below his cool exterior.
this intelligent lil guy figures out redstone pretty damn quick. he'll use this knowledge to create lots of little creations meant to make your camp better. whether or not this actually helps is an entirely different story... but look! a gate! aren't you so proud of him? (please praise him, he needs it so bad)
and you wouldn't be playing with satan if all progress didn't come to a stop the moment he spots an ocelot. when you tell him you can befriend them, he's overjoyed. look at how cute they are! one ocelot turns into two, then three, then four... suddenly there's a small army of ocelots in your house that he's caring for. y'all better make room in your joint minecraft bed or satan will feel like a bad cat dad. he's so ridiculous and i love him
Asmodeus
this man plays minecraft with his priorities straight-- he spends way too long creating a cute character skin to play with, then builds a cute house and decorates it to the nines, then focuses on finding himself the cutest armor and weapons... all before doing literally anything productive, btw.
do not expect asmodeus to be much help. he's mostly there for moral support. he cannot do things "for survival" like gathering food and resources or building a starter home. everything must be perfect, or it doesn't get done. asmo did not craft himself a bed until he was able to dye the wool pink and have a cute pink bed. he cannot bring himself to live in an ugly house, so you either need to help him or listen to him whine about getting rained on or attacked by monsters until he's done.
this is not to imply that playing with asmo is not fun!!
asmo is not a monster hunter, a miner, or any good at gathering resources. however, his experience with makeup makes him insanely creative. while you might not have a house for several days, the end result even gives barbatos' house a run for its money. his decor is always very cute and clean, soft even in the blocky 2D world. he'll make your whole base camp aesthetically pleasing if you let him (please let him-- his smile is worth it).
asmo often finds himself a damsel in distress. he'll fall in holes and get very confused, scream when he gets attacked, and generally need you to protect him at every turn. succeed, though, and he'll hail you as one of the most amazing people he's ever met. the game will be discarded as he throws his arms around you, kissing you all over the face and showering you in praises, all for saving his house from a stray creeper.
oh, and he'll definitely put your beds next to each other and smirk at you. what did you expect from the avatar of lust? cornball
Beelzebub
sweet, beloved baby beel. he's ready and willing to play with you whenever. if you want to make some actual progress, prepare lots of snacks and set a cozy atmosphere to keep him full and content. playing with the avatar of gluttony does require a little prep in that regard.
this (metaphorical) angel really has a hard time killing any of the livestock. he apologizes aloud anytime he has to slay one and explains to the poor creature why he's killing them. sorry, little sheep guy, but you two need to make beds. the cows make him feel especially bad because they remind him of belphie.
he's really big on making sure you guys have a secure, safe home to hide away in. sometimes, things get really overwhelming in the game, so he wants you to have a space where you feel safe and protected enough to calm down. this bunker is definitely a bit ugly, but we can't win them all.
play with him long enough and all the food will start looking really tasty to him. that bread looks a little too real, doesn't it, mc? and that cake is so life-like... redirect him to his snack horde, stat.
he also wants to do all of your tasks together. when he's there with you, he can make sure you're safe or offer you help when your struggling to complete a task on your own. he want to make sure you're having fun! let him help you, please, it makes him feel loved. he likes spending time with you.
definitely doesn't get the "putting your minecraft beds together" joke. you can either explain the to him and watch him blush, or let him live with the assumption that it's for extra cuddle room.
Belphegor
you've got to coax belphie into playing with you for a few days, because honestly? that sounds like a lot of work. not only does he have to participate, but he's also got to learn, too? he's already yawning just talking about it all.
he'll eventually snuggle in with his back against your chest and your arms clumsily holding the controller in front of him. he doesn't particularly care that this position makes gaming difficult for you, not when you're cuddling him like this. it's really a win-win situation in his eyes: he'll play the little block game if you shower him in unconditional affection any time he wants. what a deal! his youngest child energy really shows in times like these.
belphie is heartless when it comes to raiding villages and collecting resources. what's that? you feel bad? they're not real, mc. they don't have feelings. they don't care that you're stealing from them. if it really makes you feel bad he'll stop, but he will complain about how much easier things could have been if you'd just robbed a village or two.
somehow, some way, he's also super lucky?? he'll stumble upon rare resources with little to no effort and snicker about how you're still scrambling for supplies. don't worry, he'll share. only if you beg, though. go on. he wants to hear it. maybe, maybe he'll be willing to give you the diamonds he found if you convince him. (what a fucking menace!)
he will, eventually, fall asleep while playing. the music is too soft and your arms around him are too warm for him to not drift off. that's okay. carefully take the controller away from him, save the game, shut down the system, and settle in for the night. he'll cuddle closer in his sleep, unconsciously touched by the gesture, and drag you into dreamland with him.

chapter four
author's notes: I was discouraged with the fanfic and insecure but I rewrote it and here it is
warnings: loneliness ?? light flirting
Darth Vader's castle on Mustafar was huge and lush. But you never cared about that. But now, you hoped that all that greatness would help her avoid him. And also, Vader always had a lot of tasks, or someone was talking and talking in his head, or he was meditating, or...
But there was never enough time for you. And you were tired of it. And knowing that he was in the company of another woman increased his insecurity. This insecurity made you act like a child.
You knew and felt that he was looking for you, but you always turned away, entered another huge corridor when he came marching around. This was testing his patience.
You continued to ignore the communications he sent you, not starting by asking but then ordering you to meet. And to avoid meeting him, you didn't even leave your room, but that was okay because it was big enough. You even had a view of that lava sea. Wow.
And when you went out it always had to be in the company of some stupid Stormtrooper. Being alone gave you time to reflect on many things, even the Stormtroopers and their boring lives.
Wearing that outfit, everyone was so equal and seemed to have no emotions or opinions. Well, that's what you thought until you met one Stormtrooper in particular - Jamie.
- Today I will accompany you on your walk - He said, in your first contact, with the blaster in his hand but not scary.
You sighed and rolled your eyes but you were tired of being hidden, Vader wasn't looking for you and being alone only brought you bad feelings.
- Come on, I promise it won't be that bad - the soldier nudged you and walked ahead, you found it curious but funny.
And maybe it was the loneliness and lack of friends, but shortly after you were opening up and telling about your security to a Stormtrooper, who until then was a stranger.
- So... - You took a breath to continue, you were in dining area and he gave you some water - Thank you. Can I call you Jamie?
He seemed surprised by the question and laughed.
- I'm not used to nicknames, just my identification number. But if that's what you want...
- Thank you for accompanying me on my walk, as this is not the main activity of a Stormtrooper - You say a little embarrassed, knowing that you are taking up his time.
- It's true, I was trained to be a warrior and not a tour guide, but I'm going to try to do well at that too - You laugh together at the worried way he says - but don't worry, because of you, I'm having a great afternoon!
You didn't know if he was lying but that really touched you.
- Thank you Jamie... You know, sometimes I feel like I'm left over here, that I'm nothing more than a title for Darth Vader's wife.
- You are much more than that. You are Darth Vader's wife for many reasons.
You smile because he looked like he was trying to comfort you. But especially these last few days, you had low self-esteem.
- It is serious. Everyone talks about you here. About how smart and compassionate you are. And I know Lord Vader loves you - he continues.
- I don't know - You think out loud.
You give him the glass of water back and wait for him to return so they can continue their walk.
It's not like there was much to do, but you liked walking down the halls and handing out compliments, seeing how everyone was doing at their job, if everything was going well, and encouraging them to keep going.
- Jamie - You called him and he looked at you, he had really picked up the name for himself - In a short time you praised me more than my husband...
- Madam, sometimes he has difficulty expressing his feelings. Don't take it personally. I know you are important to him - he says.
- Is it Jamie? I'm upset with him. But I also can't express myself. He doesn't seem to want contact at the moment.
- Maybe he's going through something difficult right now. Continue to show your love and affection to him. Believe me, he can see that.
Jamie seemed so sure in his words, more sure than yourself. For a moment it's as if you had no reason to be like this, but your heart hurts so much.
- I try to understand... but it's also difficult for me. I need to feel loved - you open up.
You feel the Stormtrooper's hand on your shoulder, making you stop walking. You are in a corridor where there don't seem to be many people passing by.
Jamie takes off his helmet, revealing his face. He was a young man with fair skin, black hair and blue eyes. On his handsome face he carried a burn, probably from the battlefield.
- If he is unable to show you his love, pay attention to small gestures. A look. One word. Maybe, that's his language - His voice without the helmet sounds so deep and loving, and it makes you sensitive - Can I give you some advice?
- Of course, say it.
- Your happiness should not depend on Vader, or anyone else! You are strong, intelligent and independent. You have to find your own happiness in small gestures and in yourself. This is the only way to find genuine happiness. It doesn't depend on anyone else. You understood?
Those words from the man made your eyes fill with tears, which you couldn't hold back. The Stormtrooper surprised you and even though it wasn't allowed - you both knew damn well it wasn't - he hugged you.
-Everything will be fine, I promise-Jamie assured you, close to your ear.
You continue in silence sobbing and leaving all your tears on the boy's chest.
- No one should go through this. You're not just Darth Vader's wife. You are a formidable, intelligent, and so beautiful woman! You deserve all the love and affection in this world - He seems disgusted to see you cry when you stop hugging each other.
- D-Do you think I'm beautiful? - Not just beautiful, you are a queen - Jamie praises you with a wide smile.
You blush and your whole body heats up, unaccustomed to being praised like that.
- Thanks. You really made my day, but I think we better go back now - you says embarrassed.
You stay in a comfortable silence but your face remains red. As he approaches his quarters he says:
- If you need me, I'm always here to talk or just spend some time.
- So can I make you my personal guard? - you joke but he agrees.
Before you can say anything you hear the sound of heavy footsteps, those unmistakable boots, that unmistakable robotic breathing. It was him. And he was coming to you.

hii! does anybody have any advice on how to feel okay with not having friends? i spent years abroad, so in the meantime my irl friends from hs found other friends to hang out with who they seem to like more than me or else are very busy with work and uni and such. which is cool, good for them for having such a vibrant social life, but it feels like they have no room for me anymore and i'm a person who can't make friends that easily. i don't drink or smoke, and i feel uncomfortable in big gatherings and feel better getting to know ppl one-on-one over a longer period of time, but that makes it hard for me to connect to ppl bc most irl people don't have much patience or already have their own established friend group and little old me doesn't hold their attention.
i'm starting a new job in a couple of weeks, so hopefully that will give me the necessary social interaction plus i have a great family, so i'm not going stir crazy, it just hurts a little that my friends don't bother to text me for days if i don't text them first or invite me out to places. and i'm trying to make new friends, it just doesn't come that easy and in the meantime i wish i could just feel at peace w being alone instead of questioning why people don't want to hang out with me or why i don't feature into their leisure plans. (not that i'm blaming them, it's just that it's hard not to feel inadequate.)
so yeah, anyone have any advice on how to feel at peace w being alone? like, maybe i'll never manage to make new friends or make new connections, maybe through lack of trying, maybe through lack of luck, idc, i just want to be enough for myself, but i don't know how.
so any wise words are appreciated and thank you, OTNF, for letting me vent in your inbox :)
--
Well... those feelings are pretty common and a natural reaction to the situation. You may not really get rid of them entirely, but you can accept them as a natural part of things and not a sign that anything has gone wrong.
HS friends rarely stick with each other even during college, let alone after, so you would likely be in this same boat regardless. Making new adult friends can be a pain, but it's something most of us face multiple times even if we luck into some good friend groups at points and even if we're more social.
The thing to do for many people is to keep busy with hobbies. A crafting meetup or book club isn't usually massive. I know you don't like groups, but nobody is going to go off one-on-one without meeting you in a group context first. Finding some more manageable groups to meet people casually and see if you click is how most people do it. The only way to get to know people over time is to show up in the same places with the same people a lot.
--
Another important thing to realize about adult friends is that many of them won't be good about texting you or inviting you because they're all out of energy for doing that with anyone. Maybe all of their energy is reserved for a job. Maybe for a child. Maybe for a romantic partner.
Even if you're their very best friend, they may still not respond much at certain times in their life. If you guys are just post college, maybe that's not the issue yet, but it will be at some point.
Every single book about the plague of loneliness and how people suck at maintaining core friendships outside of their household is fixated on this. People suck at recognizing when they aren't putting enough energy into maintaining relationships.
I would axe that hangdog attitude about little old you not holding people's attention. They probably just aren't allocating time to building friendships at all.
--
Liking being alone has a lot to do with loving yourself in general and having hobbies and things you want to have time for that are solo pursuits.
It's also about not waiting to do things like go to a restaurant you want to check out. Go alone. Go with a book. Anything can be a solo activity unless it literally mandates 2+ people. Missing out on friend time shouldn't mean missing out on everything else, but a lot of people let it become that.

hey! I’ve seen a few posts about your server & it seems like an interesting idea! but I think your expectations/tone may be putting people off.. i know for me, I like a server where I can come and go based on my time & interest, and a lot of servers im in have dozens of members with a much smaller core active group. I can see how that’s frustrating as a mod! but your posts would make me nervous to join the server because it sounds like high expectations for creative output. & ultimately fandom is a hobby, that i do when it’s fun & when inspiration strikes, which sadly i cannot control. I can only speak to my own thoughts & experience of course!! but I wonder if others are feeling similar & so you’re ending up with low engagement :((
I understand perfectly thank for sharing your side of story you need to understand why I am pissed off why my tone and expectations is like that but you need to understand it just really annoying from my side of story just trying to get along with people who change their mind leave last minute without communicating sabotage plans for server which is rude I am doing with same problem for last 8 months one years it fucking annoying I am not putting people off I am just finally venting that all is really I am Aries I am very passionate my personality is like Anakin I have no regrets I can’t take this shit anymore I am fed up . Busy
pairing: Javier Peña x f!reader
word count: 1.5k
Warnings: mentions of drugs, violence, Javier Peña himself and themes from the show and also angst. Both parties are shit in relationships.
A/n: i wrote this on public transport. I honestly dk what is this, i had an idea and decided to write it before i forget. I also dearly miss my man javi,. so this is the messy product of everything
Tumblr media
The sound of keys and your door unlocking was enough to wake you up. From the horror stories that Javier had told you and the amount of tragedies you witnessed had trained you to be highly alert and prepared for any kind of danger. You rubbed your eyes, trying to rub the sleep away. When the door swung open, you heaved a sigh of relief at the sight of Javier. Then it occured to you that he is supposed to be overseas now.
Javier tried his best to look presentable. He didn’t want to make you worry. The lack of blood staining his clothes was a bonus but he doubted the eyebags and the various stray cuts would help soothe your nerves. “Cariño.” He started, his eyes struggling to meet yours.
“You should have told me you’ll be back early. I would have saved some dinner for you.” He was back, in one piece. You have learnt to be appreciative of that at the very least. Your eyes scanned his figure, no blood, no visible injuries.
Javier watched helplessly as you entered the kitchen, eyes searching for some food for him. He didn’t dare step into the apartment, he would be staining your clean floors with his sins. You busied yourself inside the kitchen, refusing to look at Javier despite how much you had missed him. From the forlorn and solemn look on his face, you doubted he would be back for long. You knew once you had him in your arms again you would refuse to let go.
“Would pasta do? I ran out of taco shells to make your favorite.” You called out to him. Javier hesitantly removed his shoes at the door. “Yes, thank you.” He stated, staring at his dirty shoes, tearing at the soles from how much activity he does in it.
A breath hitched in your throat. Javier hands were on your hips, his nose buried in your shoulder. “I miss you” your hands didn’t stop moving as you uttered a similar reply to him. Javier’s grip on you tightened, your cold response was scaring him. After everything he had been through, the last thing he wanted was to come back to is a breakup. Not after he finally overcame his fear of losing someone and decided to open up his heart to you.
You turned the fire off, moving to the side to place the noodles onto a plate for Javier. Javier reached out for the plate, taking the cutlery he needed. His other free hand immediately held your hand. “Eat with me please.” He pleaded, his brown eyes boring into yours. You smiled, you knew you were distancing yourself, it was a defence mechanism of yours. It was the whole reason why you didn’t want to go into a relationship, you hated feeling vulnerable, hated having one person that could determine your mood, the power he had to make you go through hell. Javier saw through the smile immediately, his heart tightening even more as he gently  led you to the small table you had in your living room.
Patience is never the word to describe Javier Peña. Your vague responses, cold reactions to him, it was driving him beyond crazy. However, he knew you well enough to know that if he wanted to get to the bottom of this matter, he had to be patient, had to let you open up yourself. So he concentrated on the pasta before him, filling his hunger with the delicious pasta you had cooked for him. He always admired you for your culinary skills.
“You couldn’t have chosen a shittier day to come back.” Javier’s head perked up eagerly at the sound of your voice. “Had the most draining day and now you’re at my door when I was just about to bury myself in paperwork.” You gestured to the stack of papers left on your desk. “Tomorrow, once I drop off these paperwork I should be able to spend some time with you.” You grinned, happier at the prospect of spending time with him. Your grin faltered when you caught sight of Javier’s grimace.
Javier tried his best not to frown. Hiding his face behind the glass of water you had poured for him upon finishing his food. He took a deep breath, studying your features for a while. God, he missed you but time was never on his side. You fidgeted with your hands nervously, “Spill it Javier.” You demanded. Javier swallowed, you could read him like a book.
“I’m so sorry cariño but I have a flight to catch at 7am.” He admitted. His eyes remain fixated on yours, afraid that he’ll miss something. You blinked, pursing your lips slightly, trying your best to hide your disappointment. That means that you’ll wake up to an empty bed yet again and spend the next few days worrying about him.
   “I figured”
Those two words might as well have been a punch to his gut. He swallowed the lump in his throat. With only two words, he realised what had gone wrong.
Time is a luxury that Javier couldn’t afford. His job demanded him to be ready on call 24/7. It was one of the major reasons why he didn’t see the appeal of committing to anything. You understood that, you knew from the various complaints that Connie told you about Steve’s outrageous work hours. Yet, Connie has always complained about Steve with a shine in her eyes and an understanding smile. You wished you could say that Javier’s work hours didn’t bother you. Especially when your own love language is quality time.
“Once everything’s over, I swear I’ll make it up to you.” Javier promised. Honestly, he didn’t know what to say to make you feel better. He never had to explain himself to the various women he brought home to accompany him on lonely nights. Your silence only scared him even more, it was like you were slipping from his fingers. “Talk to me.” He pleaded with those brown eyes of his.
“The narcos are a lucky bunch of motherfuckers.” You laughed, “I should start trafficking drugs.” Javier frowned, he knew you were joking but this joke hit a little too close for him. He wouldn’t wish upon his worst enemy to be part of this messy chaotic war of drugs and he desperately did his best to shield you against it. Hearing those words from you, you might as well have told him to his face that he wasn’t making a difference and that he was just wasting his life away.
Those words were meant to hurt. You hated yourself for it but you just couldn’t break the habit. You knew you were pushing him away by pushing his buttons. You knew how much he tried to give you the relationship you deserved, you were being selfish and you knew that. However those words left your lips before your mind even could process it. Your heart clenched st the sight of Javier. His eyebrows was furrowed, his jaw clenched tightly and his hands curled into fists at his side. Javier was losing his patience, your words hit him in a sore spot.
“I’m sorry, I’m not-“ you tried to apologise but Javier simply stood up. He ran his hands through his hair before he put on the jacket that he had left hanging on the chair. He took out a cigarette and lit it up with a lighter in the kitchen. The sound of your door slamming shut resounded through out the apartment. You closed your eyes, trying your very best to not shed tears, it’s your fault, you always sabotaged the good things you have in your life. You glanced at the door, vision blurring with tears. Javier had promised to quit smoking but it seemed he had picked up on the habit again considering how he readily had a pack of cigarettes in his jacket.
Javier Peña haunted your dreams that night. He always did. Especially on nights when you missed him dearly, especially today when you had pushed him far enough you were convinced he wouldn’t be coming back soon.
“Once I’m clean, healthy and free from this narcos business. I’ll make you mine. With a ring and a wedding and everything I can offer.” He promised once when he was in bed with you. Those words felt like decades ago compared to now. He already picked up the habit of smoking again, what’s stopping him from going back to his old ways completely?
There it is, the doubt and overthinking that caused you to self sabotage every time. You trusted him and love him with all your heart and yet, you couldn’t help these thoughts, couldn’t help the distrust that formed despite him giving you no reason to doubt him.
The empty side of the bed that you woke up to didn’t help.
Although the note that was stuck to the front of your fridge door made you feel like a fool for even feeling and thinking the way you did.
Wait for me to come home to you. - Javi

Part 1:
Chapter 2: Valkur’s Aasimar
Tumblr media
Calypso is forever grateful to Lucifer for taking over the night time duties so Calypso can actually rest. It doesn’t make the early morning wake up any easier, but it helps. She loves her cabin and she loves the peace it provides.
The bed frame is built into the wall so that she doesn’t slide around everywhere as the ship continues to sail and there’s a washtub nailed down in one corner. Her desk and map table are equally as glued to the floor.
Calypso watched (and was an unfortunate victim of) her mother’s lack of ‘safety’ precautions when she was a captive on her ship. She was often run over by her mother’s bed or her desk- left for hours underneath them- when her mother had no use for her.
It’s been 60 years since Duke Ravenguard helped Calypso secure her freedom, but there had still been 90 years of torture and misuse. If her mother wasn’t absorbing every last drop of power from her bones- she was starving her, beating her into submission, waterboarding her, etc, etc. It’s not a reality that Calypso misses.
The soft glow of the morning sun outlining the shadows of Astarion’s face is a much better world to wake up in.
If Lucifer helps make waking up easier, then Astarion does not help- in fact the man makes it damn near impossible to leave her bed at all. She doesn’t want to have to untangle her limbs from his or wait for another 8 or 9 odd hours before she can be like this with him again.
Astarion had managed to keep her in bed later than usual over the last five days. The minute she so much as moves a muscle- Astarion has her underneath him writhing and begging for release or he’s fucking into her slowly, stealing all the air out of her lungs. It’s invigorating to say the least and her body sings under his attentive touch.
The more she learns about him, the more Calypso adores him. Astarion had opened up about his life pretty quickly after a bad trance. Supposedly one of his victims’ faces had been replaced with hers and he handed her over to Cazador. He was struggling to accept that the reality was different- that Calypso is well and truly alive in his arms. The man had been borderline inconsolable in the aftermath of the twisted memory, but Calypso had managed to coax him out of the fog and back to her.
Astarion even experienced Calypso at her worst- jealous. He learned very quickly that she wasn’t going to deal with that. When he had knocked on her door with his tail between his legs, Calypso made sure to answer and let him in wearing her skimpiest outfit- a nude, see through corset bralette and a pair of lacy nude panties. His apology ended with him eating her out on top of her map table- one of her maps needs to be replaced entirely after the affair.
She always made sure he actually wanted to engage in these activities with her- especially after learning about his history. Astarion assured her that he would let her know if he didn’t or if he needed to stop and he did. Astarion had only wanted to pleasure her that night and the rest of the night was spent just enjoying each other’s company.
Astarion will spend time with her throughout the day as well and his company is very welcome. Lucifer is usually taking his turn to sleep throughout the morning and into the evening so Calypso doesn’t have to worry about the two of them bickering.
Astarion has begun to ask her questions about the ship, how to be a Helmsman, commands, language, so on and so forth. He’s a very good student- picking it all up impressively fast. Calypso has let him man the ship (under supervision of course) as they made their way to the first stop.
Caer Callidyrr isn’t Calypso’s favorite doc to stay at, but they need to dock The Chimera and take a smaller ship into the Hells. The Chimera isn’t large, but it won’t be able to navigate safely through Stygia. Only Calypso and Lucifer will be traveling with the group of adventurers. With Callidyrr being only hours ahead of them, Calypso is confident they will make it before sunrise- provided there aren't any unexpected obstacles.
Which always seems to happen no matter how many times Calypso plans her routes out or how careful she is to avoid crossing paths with the Cult of Umberle or the Cult of Water. Now there are at least 8 Cult of Water ships heading in their direction.
Calypso isn’t paying attention to the frantic looks on the faces of Astarion and his companions as they realize they are about to be engaged in their first open water battle. She wants to reassure them (more so Astarion) that it’s going to be just fun, but there isn’t any time for that right now.
“I need Chain shots loaded- NOW!” Calypso shouts and her night crew sprints up from below the deck to join for the coming battle.
“They are chasing us at full sail, Calypso,” Lucifer’s voice holds an edge of aggression, “I’d prefer to not have a full blown battle on the Sh-“
“Yes Lucy,” she says with a wave of her hands, “I’m aware of what you would prefer and I’m working on it.”
Calypso climbs up the stairs and leans over the railing of the helm.
“Alright- we need the ship to come about! Wizards, warlocks- basically anyone who can cast gusts of wind- take position on the quarterdeck ,” she shouts, the crew shouts in understanding.
“Anyone else,” Lucifer yells, “split yourselves into two groups- I want some of you below deck readying the canons and the Chase gun! The other half- ready your bows and arrows and be prepared to fire when we are 3 fathoms away from the other ship!”
Lucifer looks up at Calypso and gestures to their guests- she raises an eyebrow.
“They all know what their capabilities are,” she states, “if they wish to travel on this ship then they need to protect it too.”
The looks of absolute dread on all of their faces is almost comical. They really have no faith in her! How hurtful.
“Well- then you heard the Captain,” Lucifer says with far too much gratification, “get to your assignments.”
“Careful, Lucy,” Calypso warned, “you sound so happy I may make you go below deck to help and let the Dragonborn be my first mate.”
Tav beamed, “I’m so glad I’m your first pick.
Astarion pouts up at Calypso and she flashes him a teasing grin before blowing him a kiss. Calypso stands on the rail and addresses the crew one final time.
“Oh,” Calypso clears her throat, “and may I remind you sorry lot that dead men tell no tales- so let’s try to make it out of this one alive- savvy?”
Everyone races to their positions. The laughter and the energy is infectious. Calypso isn’t worried a single bit and she watches the tension ease from Lucifer’s shoulders. He rarely thinks she takes anything seriously, but Calypso does. She is equally as protective of her crew and her guests- it’s not about her or the ship’s safety for her. Calypso has a special group of individuals aboard her group- her main crew consists of runaway slaves from Calimport, ex-Lolth sworn Drows who remain below deck until the night time and operate the canons, Half-Orcs who have been ostracized, Dhampirs who were abandoned at birth (Calypso would come across them and the crew worked together to raise them), etc. They aren’t a ragtag group of scummy pirates- they are all survivors who are standing together.
Well, except for the contract workers. Fuck those entitled pricks.
She jots back to the Helm- waiting for the exact moment to turn the ship.
The minute red and green flares go up in the air- the ship goes flying forward with the assistance of the many magic users casting gusts of wind on the sails. Calypso turns into the sudden rush of air allowing the ship to circle into position where it can slam the side of the other boats.
Calypso closes her eyes and takes a deep breath- letting the smell of the ocean water fill her senses. She imagines a storm surrounding the ship hurtling towards them- the waves thrashing them around and consuming them whole.
The thunder cracks the peaceful sound of the air before the dark clouds even begin to sweep across the sky- the water underneath her rumbles it’s war cry and Calypso allows Valkur’s power to consume her- like him, she can commandeer any ship, walk through water, control the weather, navigate through every storm unscathed, call upon Orca’s, etc. The best part though? No ship she sails on is able to sink- ever.
Then she hears Wyll scream, “HOLY SHIT!”
She looks over with a smile- her good friend, Hesjing, must have missed her enough to make an appearance. Or he’s just really hungry. Most likely he is really hungry and her targets make for easy prey considering they end up floundering in the ocean.
The massive Sea Wyvern goes flying over their heads and laying chaos to the ships- their flags going up in flames and the chaos keeps them from changing direction in time.
“NOW!!!!!”
The ship lurches forward in the water with the support of the extra wind and Calypso’s magic as Calypso prepares to ram into the 4 ships in the back of the line.
The bow crashes with an ear shattering noise through the first, second, and third ship. Hesjing takes one of the ships down in the front of the line. The world is full of smoke and flames- Calypso barely sees the four remaining ships beginning to form a circle to trap them in.
“GRAB ON TO SOMETHING!”
The command roars through the air as it’s repeated by the whole crew upon the deck. She takes one glance at Astarion- trying to remind herself not to get caught up in whatever emotions he is feeling.
Calypso is surprised to see the pure adrenaline in his posture and in the shadows of his face. There isn’t a single ounce of fear to be seen. She can’t help the smile that crosses her face. Poor Tav looks absolutely green and is holding onto Astarion’s arm for support. She’ll have to make sure to pick up something for sea sickness otherwise the Dragonborn may detest her forever.
The screams shattering through the air is the only thing that keeps Calypso from being lost in thought. One of the other ships had managed to turn towards them and was going to hit them very very hard. The ship will be fine- much like her powersake, Valkur, any ship she sails is indestructible. However, that means the ship will pass through the boat and they are going to have a battle on deck.
Calypso jumps over the Helm- yelling to Celeste nearby to take control of the Helm momentarily. She doesn’t check if Celeste goes there, she just keeps racing until she hits the deck.
The ship is barreling at them much faster than Calypso thought and she messily says a spell in Thaumaglossia (Celestial spell casting language). Both ships are being pulled up and to the side ever so slightly by a massive title wave- the captain of the other ship makes eye contact with her and she can see the fear as plainly as the whites of their eyes.
Magic flows through her fingertips and the tidal wave passes over them and engulfs them in the water- an air tight bubble surrounding The Chimera while they watch the enemy ship be demolished by not only a tidal wave, but the pack of Orcas that followed it.
It’s a gruesome scene- the pirate ship popping back up underneath another enemy ship and adding to the carnage. The Orcas leap and flip through the air with screaming cultists in their mouth.
The last two ships had been graciously taken down by Hesjing, who then proceeded to inhale one of the Orcas on his dive back down to the depths of the sea. The Chimera totters along the capillary waves as the Crew cheers loudly.
Calypso releases a sigh she didn’t realize she was holding and nearly stumbles to the ground when a large hand slaps her on the back.
“Excellent work as always Captain!” Toothless Tosh shouts out- everyone cheers in agreement.
“Oh yes, it was a very impressive display as always,” Lucifer says goadingly- his eyes flitting around her form, “so much so that drinks will be on the Captain tonight- hm?”
“You rat bastard,” Calypso mumbles under her breath, causing the man to laugh, “fine! But only because you actually hurried your asses up this time!”
The crew disbands with laughter- returning to their previous spots and helping to make sure everyone is injury free. Some of the less magically inclined individuals begin to pass out the rations for the day. Honestly she feels like she could fall over and fall asleep. It takes a lot of thought, magic, and concentration to be able to perform that many high power spells at once. For example- the Orcas did not show up on their own accord, they showed up because Calypso’s magic called out to them when she asked it to. She does feel poorly about Hesjing running off with one.
The sound of approaching footsteps and grumbling from a certain seasick Dragonborn fills Calypso with glee. Wherever Tav is, Astarion usually is.
The poor man is still tinted green on the tip of his scales, but luckily, he doesn’t have to utter a word.
Lae’zel, Shadowheart, Gale, and Wyll are smothering Calypso in questions- some she barely has any answers too. For example- how does she summon Orcas and a Sea Wyverm. Her answer? She has no fucking clue. However, she does appreciate how impressed they are.
Eventually everyone disbands to get their rations for the day. Calypso is thankful that Farview is maybe only 6 hours away and they’ll be there before the sun falls. They are running low on food and Calypso prefers to not go hungry if she can help it- especially with a crew of hangry individuals. They are all the worst people she has ever met when they are hungry- it’s great for raids.
“That was quite the show of strength, my Dear,” her lover’s melodic voice flows through her ears, “I can’t decide if I’m afraid or turned on.”
She smiles cheekily at him with an eyebrow raised, “why not both?”
“Hmm, how erotic,” Astarion teases, “should I expect to be tied up while we’re at it?”
“Perhaps, I am full of surprises, you know.”
“Oh- I am very well aware.”
Calypso can’t help it- her face always hurts when she is around Astarion (in the best way possible). Everything about him makes her smile and her heart sing. It’s proper gross if she’s being honest with herself. She never pegged herself for a smitten school girl- at least not in her adult years.
“How much longer do I have to wait to keep your attention for longer than 5 minutes at a time, East?”
Despite his teasing tone, she can sense the impatience in his tone. She tuts at him.
“I’m afraid another six hours, North,” Calypso says with an exaggerated pout, “you will have to wait several five more minute increments longer.”
The man groans and grabs Calypso’s hand- dragging her off to her cabin. The moment the door is closed- Astarion’s lips are on hers hungrily and his expert hands are already rubbing her clit, a finger and then two sliding in as soon as she’s ready- which she finds very quickly when it comes to Astarion. A hum of pleasure rolls through her body as he coaxes moans and her orgasm out of her. Her own hands have fumbled their way into his pants and she uses his precum as lube- rubbing her hands up and down his hard cock. The moans and curse words that tumble out of Astarion’s mouth are absolutely divine.
Calypso knows this is all they have time for- they would never leave if they actually had sex- and Astarion thankfully respects that, but Valkur preserve her- it’s going to be a very long six hours.

Word Count: approx. 9.2k Pairing(s): fem reader jeno || fem reader x husband Warning(s): mature audiences only, 18+, explicit language, slow-paced, storytelling, cheating, infidelity, smut, oral (female receiving) Preview: Sighing and shaking his head Jeno takes one look up at your bedroom before sliding his hands into his pants pockets. “As much as it was nice talking to you Matthew,” he whispers to himself. “There’s no way in hell I’m going to walk away after today…” With a roll of his eyes Jeno disappears into the night.
✞TENSION RELEASE✞
Your eyes pop open as a sharp lightning bolt of pain shoots up your spine. Curling into a ball to find solace you’re stopped midway when a warm arm wraps around you tightly. Pulling you towards the person behind you.
“Good morning babe,” Matthew snuggles up to you after placing a kiss on your cheek.
“G-Good morning,” you manage to squeak out. Though the pain was strangely subsiding due to his body heat acting as a heating pad, there were still small sparks pulsating along the length of your back that has you wincing.
“How are you feeling?”
“Sore. My back is killing me right now. I think I overdid it yesterday.”
And then some…
Sitting up abruptly Matthew leans over to see the speckles of sweat decorating your forehead and the small grimace on your face.  “Baby!” He rushes off the bed and over to your side bending down on his haunches to reach your eye level. “Baby are you okay? Do you want me to get you some Tylenol? Do you need some ice? Tell me how I can help you…”
Chuckling through the discomfort you reach out to which he instantly grabs hold of your hand kissing your knuckles. “Some Tylenol would be amazing right now.”
“Of course. I’ll be right back.” Leaving your side Matthew sprints downstairs to get you some pain killers.
Yesterday absolutely showed you that you should have said no three times. One for Jeno, one for Matthew, and one for your own stupidity. Barely able to sit up on your own, you whimper propping yourself up to greet the new day.
Grabbing your phone you find its 8:40AM. After all of the physical activity you passed out in Matthew’s arms at around 10PM. Your eyes scan your bedroom a soft smile coming to your face. After your rounds with Matthew you both apologized for your behaviors, promising the other to do better in the future. Then he proceeded to ask you to come back to your bedroom which didn’t take much convincing on Matthew’s part considering the quilt and sheets of the spare room need to be washed and dried.
Both of you ending up shocked by how much of your squirt poured out of you. Honestly, you’d forgotten that was even possible. You had only squirted twice in your life. Once with some moron from the neighboring school who fingered your pussy so hard you squirted like a geyser but were sore for days, the other, with Matthew.
Giggling, your face starts to warm. Yesterday was amazing! Your husband finally taking a leap of faith and entering a world of lust, on a Sunday, of all days — even the thought has your spent cunt clenching. Hopefully with a little time and patience on your part you’ll be able to have more days like yesterday. Of course, your back needs to hurry up and get better for the real fun to begin!
“Here we go,” Matthew comes in with not only a glass of water and your Tylenol but also a bowl that smells like apple cinnamon oatmeal. “Thought you might be hungry as well.”
“I’m famished! Thank you babe!”
Placing the tray on your lap, Matthew crawls back into bed next to you. Popping the pills quickly into your mouth, you down them with some lukewarm water. Smiling you glance at your wonderful husband.
“You sure know how to treat a woman,” you place the tips of your fingers under his chin pulling him close to you. “Thanks for making me breakfast.” You kiss him gently.
“It’s the least I can do for being a jerk. I still can’t believe I acted like a child yesterday. Here you were upstairs, in pain, stuck in the bathroom, without breakfast, and I left you. What kind of man does that?” He pouts.
“A man who has been dealing with a lot. Truly Matthew, I’m sorry for that remark about getting a toy. I really didn’t mean it.”
“My love, we both know Roz would have gotten you something if she doesn’t have one for you on standby.”
“Matthew!!” You playfully slap his chest. “She’s not that much of a deviant!”
“Look me in the eyes and tell me she doesn’t already have a stock of her own!” He leans down his face inches from yours.
Avoiding his eyes you erupt in giggles. “Okay, so she has a few BUT!!! It’s not a stock. Just about six? I believe.”
“SIX?! Wow…I suddenly feel bad for Bill.”
“Oh stop,” you pat his cheek. “Bill is the one who suggested four of them. He likes how Roz reacts, plus, he’s the one controlling them.” Lifting up your spoon you blow gently on the steaming hot oatmeal.
“And they both like them?” Matthew whispers beside you.
“Sure do! I mean she doesn’t talk about all that stuff but whenever he surprised her with a new toy she would tell me what it was like. Personally, if I had to choose a toy that we should try it would be the wand. After last night,” your face starts to warm. “I want to experience that again. Plus, I could always tease you with the wand too!” You smirk.
Matthew looks at you confused. “How can you tease someone with a stick?”
Pausing midair you turn to your sweet naïve husband. “Baby a wand is a vibrator.”
Nodding he settles down next to you. “A vibrator…I see…” suddenly his body becomes stiff as a board next to you. “Wait!!! Why do you want to use something like that on me?!” Shaking his head he moves away from you. “No, no, no…I can’t…that’s…that’s —”
Reaching out you grab hold of his wrist before he gets off the bed completely. “Baby, it was just a thought. I would never do anything to you that you weren’t comfortable with. Plus, this is something very far down the road. What we did last night tells me we don’t need to add any gadgets to the bedroom just yet.”
“Is…Is there anything else you would like to try?”
“Ummm maybe these vibrators that would go inside me and you can control the speed and power of the vibrations. That would be a lot of fun! Especially,” you pull him to you. “If it’s in public.” You kiss his nose.
“IN PUBLIC?!!!”
“Yes! Picture it! We’re sitting across from each other at let’s say the dinner. Having a nice meal together when you pull out your phone, casually having it under the table and away from prying eyes. You turn on the vibrator when I least expect it,” your eyes become hazy just thinking about Matthew toying with you. “And all throughout the rest of the meal with people around me and knowing our town, plenty of people coming up to talk — I have to keep my reactions undetectable. No moaning, screaming, begging for more. Just a neutral expression for as long as I can handle it.”
Gulping Matthew wets his dry lips. “How long have you been thinking about this exactly?”
“We’d have to have a safe word or something that would let you know when to turn it up or down. Or when I can’t handle it anymore and I need to come. Yeah…”
Arching a brow Matthew watches you play out the entire scene in your head. Seeing your eyes fixated on something he can’t see. The cogs in your brain turning rapidly. The way your tongue slowly skates across yours lips as your mind slips further into your fantasy. To him, right here and now you’re the most beautiful person to ever grace this earth. Even if your mind is full of  impure thoughts at the moment.
Leaning over he breaks you out of your daydream with a gentle kiss on the lips.
“Wh-What was that for?” You giggle.
“No reason. You just looked really beautiful while thinking is all.”
“Oh, so me thinking about the naughty things I want my husband to do to me somehow makes me beautiful.”
“Stunning!” Matthew leans into you again, but this time placing his forehead against yours. “I still can’t believe what happened last night.”
“Neither can I,” she nuzzle your nose with his. “Whatever happened let’s pray that it happens again.”
Smiling softly, Matthew starts to leave gentle kisses on your nose, cheeks, jaw, and heads for your neck.  “Did it feel good?” He asks while his lips gingerly move across your neck.
Closing your eyes you succumb to him. It felt better than good, sweetie.”
“Maybe when you’re feeling better we can try again.”
Getting lost in his kisses, your arms fall from the tray of food on your lap.  “S-So, it felt good for you too?”
Smiling against your neck, Matthew kisses and sucks hard on your skin near your collarbone. “I wish we had thought about doing that before. Actually,” he pulls away. “I wish I did a lot of things for you and to you before yesterday. I know I’m not perfect and I have a lot to work on but I hope I made up for some of it yesterday.”
“What made you want to eat me out yesterday?”
Startled by your question, the warm and fuzzy mood dissipating quickly, Matthew stills beside you. His complexion growing darker the longer he waits to answer you. “I…well…I mean…”
“Don’t get me wrong,” you quickly add thinking he’s questioning whether you wanted to have him taste you or not. “It was amazing! I want to feel your lips on me again as soon as possible because for someone who skipped the foreplay department of our marriage you sure knew your way around down there.”
His face now a bright red, Matthew turns away from you, fingers fumbling against each other. “I mean, well you see, I’ve always wanted too…but I couldn’t. How could I? It seemed so…so…”
Reaching out to him you turn his face to you with nothing but love in your eyes. “You always wanted to taste me?”
Lowering his head Matthew nods. “Yes. From the first time we were intimate I’ve wanted to know how you tasted. I just didn’t…no that’s not it…I couldn’t bring it up.”
“Why not?”
“How could I?” He looks at you with innocent eyes. “You’re so beautiful and amazing and strong and confident. To this day I still can’t help but stare at you wondering how I ended up being blessed to have you as my wife. I want to cherish you, respect you, hold you close. Not defile you or treat you like some…”
“Whore?” You giggle.
Scoffing Matthew nods. “Jeno said the same thing.”
“Jeno?”
Freezing, his mouth popping open in an ‘oh shit’ manner he turns his gaze from you. “Yes, yesterday, before he left.”
“You talked to Jeno?”
“Well, I mean we didn’t talk talk but we talked.”
“About our sex life?”
“Not in so many words,” Matthew gulps.
“I see…”
Sighing you pick up your spoon and begin eating again. It’s strange. When you talked to Jeno it was more ranting about your life and just wanting someone who doesn’t have a biased opinion give you some advice. Where things ended up should not have happened but it did. There’s no going back or taking back the fact you cheated on Matthew, but hearing Matthew say he talked to Jeno about you…it feels…odd…
As if the one person who you saw as your confidant has now been compromised — not having anyone else to talk to about things that really piss you off.
Granted you did ask Jeno to get the details about Matthew’s problem but that was a completely different situation than what is going on now. Matthew spoke to Jeno about your intimate life and Jeno somehow convinced Matthew to devour your pussy? After the two of you fucked? That doesn’t make any sense at all…
“You’re mad aren’t you?” Matthew’s worried tone pulls you out of your thoughts. “I didn’t intend on talking to him. He just…he has this soothing nature about him. Sort of like you can talk to him about anything that’s on your mind and he won’t beat around the bush. He’ll tell you exactly what you need to hear. Baby, please!” Matthew holds your hands in his. “Please don’t be mad. I promise I won’t talk to him about us again.”
“I’m not mad,” you laugh trying to play things off as if you don’t mind. “In fact, I suppose I should thank him.”
“Thank…him…?”
Nodding you go back to eating. It’s the sad but honest truth. What happened last night might be because of whatever Matthew and Jeno talked about. The primal feeling that was coursing through your body chasing not only your high but your husband’s high could in fact be thanks to Jeno.
“Do you like talking to Jeno?” You ask. Shrugging he stares at you like a child terrified that at any second he’s going to get yelled at. “Do you want to continue to talk to him?”
“We didn’t really get to finish our conversation.”
“Jeno is very easy to talk to. I understand why you felt so at ease around him. I’m thankful that you finally feel comfortable talking to someone. If you want to continue talking to him go ahead. Plus, having a guy friend to talk about guy things might be just what you need.”
“R-Really?” Matthew’s face brightens.
“Of course, there is just one thing we should keep in mind…” glancing down you take the final bite of your oatmeal. “Let’s just be careful not to talk about things we don’t want anyone else to know about. Okay?”
“Of course!”
Smirking you move the tray off your lap before wiggling your brows at Matthew. “So, was it your idea or Jeno’s to eat me out yesterday?”
“BABE!!!!”
Sighing in both pain and relief you slide further into the nice warm water. Your muscles beginning to loosen up. Sitting on a chair next to you, Matthew watches over you carefully.
“What are the plans for today?”
“I called Mr. Smith and told him I’d be running late and to have everyone start without me. “We’re hoping to get the basement filled in today and work more on the outer foundations.”
“I was thinking of asking Mrs. Smith and maybe a few other girls to join me and pick out some furnishings. Though I’d love to get straight back to work I think I should take it easy for a while.”
“You shouldn’t have been hauling around bags of cement in the first place.”
“It helped clear my mind. I liked doing it. Plus,” you lean into him. “I was getting sick and tired of hearing half the towns wives lustful thoughts about men other than their husbands. Then again…I don’t want to hear their lustful comments about their husbands.”
Laughing Matthew shakes his head in disbelief. “Perhaps we should talk more about this town.”
“Why?”
“At the picnic yesterday,” he sighs heavily. “I felt your absence. Though I was born and raised here it took you not being by my side to show me that I truly don’t know anyone here. Yes, our congregation is a mixture of parents, grandparents, and families of people we went to school with who moved away — of course the people whom we did go to school with are still here as well, but I just know who they are and what they ask to be forgiven for. That’s it. I don’t know anything that goes on in their personal lives. I didn’t know how to talk to anyone excluding our parents.”
Staring up at Matthew both a feeling of pity and happiness fills your soul. Pity because he must have truly suffered a lot yesterday. Talking to everyone, making small talk, and just ensuring that everyone was happy and being taken care of — non-spiritually, was your job. Having to take on your roll yesterday must have been a lot for him. At the same time, seeing his sullen face shows just how much he needs you and that you are valued. Perhaps more so now than before.
“You’ve never liked hearing about what’s going around.”
“I can’t help but wonder how much is gossip and how much is fact. Judging people is not up to me or to anyone else, it’s up to God.”
“Yet you judge Roz,” you quickly point out.
Lips curving into a deep frown, Matthew turns from you. “That’s because she’s trying to take you away and corrupt you,” he mumbles.
Giggling you reach out and touch his knee gaining his attention. “I’m not going anywhere. Plus we’d both miss our men far too much. But, as for this town I can assure you 90% is fact! Only 10% is gossip. The people here are crazy! Small towns bring out the true freaks if you know what I mean.”
“90% fact you say?” He moves from the chair down to you, his lips meeting yours in a light kiss. “Give me a little taste.”
“For starters, Bethany my hair dresser,” you begin.
“Is she the one who’s dating Tom down at the bakery?”
“Yep! She apparently slept around A LOT when we were in high school. Like a lot a lot! With people from our school’s rival! I mean yeah some of the guys we went to school with were total dogs and I’m not talking about their attitudes but to sleep with the guys from our rival school Ewwwww! They are complete assholes who have no respect for women at all! Like some of the stuff I heard would make you want to call the cops asap and have them investigated from some of the shit they pulled! Plus they were worse than the guys here in terms of looks! No offense to anyone but it’s true.”
Gaping at you bewildered Matthew tilts his head. “I heard about that. It surprised me. She only transferred to our district about a year and a half before you came. There were rumors about her being…easy, back in middle school. Very promiscuous,” he wiggles his brows.
“No!!!” You lean over the edge of the tub.
“Yeah. I didn’t believe them she looked super innocent to me. She was also kind of sweet so I just figured the other girls were jealous.”
Waving him off you grab your washcloth and some soap. “Oh she told me she thought you were super cute. She even admitted to wanting to date you but you were far too innocent for her. So, she dated half the guys at our school,” you crack up.
“Bethany wanted to date me?!” Matthew gasps.
“Ah huh, she said you were her type. Naïve, inexperienced, and ripe for the picking!”
“She told you this?!”
“Of course! We’re friends,” you laugh. “She has been my stylist for two years now. We became close after she did our hair for Roz’s wedding. Plus, she’s the true eyes and ears of this town. She knows everyone’s dirty little secrets!”
“My wife thriving on the towns’ gossip,” he sighs shaking his head amused.
“Hey! It’s only gossip if there are no facts to back it up. Bethany and the others always come with receipts.”
“What about the men?”
“Pfft,” you roll your eyes. “Don’t even get me started. First, let me ask you this, George who works alongside…Anna,” you roll your eyes again. “How long has he been married to Kim?”
“My dad married them when I was in middle school so maybe thirteen years? Give or take.”
“He’s cheated on Kim for half their marriage then.”
“What?!”
“Yep. Jun, at the salon, well he saw George and some blonde woman making out one night at a bar and since has seen him and that woman sneaking around late at night. So, he’s done a little digging and found out that George and this woman have been in contact with each other for years.
“Pictures of them on ‘company retreats’ passing it off as just a friendly co-worker moment and blah blah blah, but he said the lip lock and their tongues down each other's throats clearly states that they are much much more.”
“Kim is a wonderful woman! How could he? They have children!!”
Shrugging you start washing your body. “They were young when they married, right? Fresh out of high school?”
“Yes…”
“I think they didn’t have time to explore and find out who they truly were and what they actually want. It happens. My uncle the one back where I lived before,” Matthew nods. “He cheated as well. Actually, his wife cheated too.” You chuckle. “At our rehearsal dinner we had a long conversation about the sanctity of marriage. He told me that for him and his wife they were just too young. He said if they had waited until after college and truly got to know each other without the pressures of marriage they may have been able to make it last.”
“What about us,” Matthew whispers.
“What do you mean?” You rid your arms of soap.
“We got married young as well. What if…I don’t…promise me that it won’t happen with us.”
Stilling, your heart starts racing. Knowing full well Matthew isn’t talking about cheating but about the love disappearing you close your eyes, dip your washcloth into the water and pour some water on your chest.
“Matthew, just because something happened to someone else doesn’t mean it will happen to us.”
“I just…with the way I’ve been acting…” he mumbles. “I promise I’ll get some help for whatever is going on. I won’t let this marriage end because of me!”
Sighing you finish up and go to stand. Quickly Matthew helps you up but what he doesn’t expect is you wrapping your arms around him, your body soaking his night shirt and shorts.
“This marriage will not end no matter what, do you hear me?” You state firmly. “I love you, Matthew. I’m in love with you. That will never change.”
Squeezing you tightly in his arms, he buries his face in the crook of your neck. “I love you too. Without you…I’d be lost.”
“Now, enough gossip talk for today. I need to get dried and dressed before Jeno comes over.”
“Or you could stay like this and scare him off.”
“MATTHEW!!”
Lips move across yours lazily. Giggling your hand rests on Matthew’s cheek as he attempts to say goodbye to you for a few hours. It’s strange how all it took was a little release to get the two of you back to snuggling, kissing, and loving each other properly. Still, there is the fact that Matthew needs to get through whatever is holding him back from being inside of you for longer periods of time and from coming inside of you — deciding it wasn’t the time yesterday to talk to him about why he pulled out you opt to save it for another day. Preferably a time when you’re not in pain and can leave if the conversation becomes heated.
Then, there is the issue of whatever is going on between Jeno and yourself. Talking to Matthew about what your uncle told you brought on a wave of guilt you didn’t expect to feel. Yes, you cheated. But Matthew begging, pleading for you not to leave him and pleading for nothing to go wrong between the two of you is what’s killing you.
When Jeno was inside you, when he kissed you, touched you, tasted you, and came inside you, a huge part of you wanted to be with him. To know what it would be like to be desired the way he desired you. The thrill of not being able to keep your hands off of the other in public, even the thought of it has your heart racing.
With Matthew…everything is hopefully, someday, and perhaps. It’s always dangingling in front of you but strangely out of reach. Its not a guarantee and that’s what you want. A guarantee that you’ll be loved. A guarantee that when you look into his eyes the most salacious sinful thoughts of what he wants to do to you will bring out the animal in him. But with Matthew, that’s unlikely.
Yesterday, though amazing, feels like a fevered dream. A manic moment where he acted on impulse instead of rationality. If you were guaranteed a husband that would thrill you more you would have never sought solace in another man’s arms. If you could only have lived in that moment with Matthew for the rest of your life…if only…
“I don’t want to leave you,” Matthew mumbles against your lips.
“Mr. Smith needs you,” you whisper.
“He’s the one leading the construction. I’m just there as support. People respect him. I’m not needed.” His lips trail down to your neck.
Giggling, you arch your head back giving him more access. “I love feeling your lips on me.”
“Hurry up and get better,” Matthew peeks up at you. “Yesterday was amazing but you’re now very sore and it’s killing me to know I pushed you to this point.”
“I pushed myself, Matthew. Please don’t blame yourself.”
“Still I shouldn’t have —”
“Hello? Matthew?” Jeno’s voice echoes from downstairs.
Exhaling deeply Matthew sits up. “I guess that’s my cue to leave.”
“Have fun today and don’t overwork yourself,” you give him one final peck on the lips before he pulls away.
“I promise. Just get some rest. I’ll see you in a couple of hours,” he strokes your cheek.
Rushing down the stairs Matthew smiles happily seeing Jeno waiting patiently at the front door. “Sorry for keeping you. She’s having a rough morning.”
Worried Jeno’s eyes widen darting to the staircase. “Is she okay?”
“She’s a little sore from yesterday. She took a bath and some pills so that should help ease some of the discomfort but I think she’ll need a good massage when the painkillers wear off.” He scratches the back of his neck. “I blame myself…”
“Why? You didn’t do anything to her…” Jeno mumbles as guilt washes over him.
“Well that’s not entirely true…you know how yesterday we were talking? And you mentioned that I should be a little less restrictive in my interactions with her?”
Tilting his head Jeno nods slowly. “Less restrictive?” He chuckles. “You mean when I told you to stop treating her like a porcelain doll?”
“Precisely!” Matthew claps his hands shouting joyfully. “Well… last evening…what I mean to say is…” he pulls at the collar of his t-shirt. “We’re friends, right? I can confide in you…?” He gulps loudly.
Friends? Jeno scoffs internally. “I would say we’re on friendly terms so yes you can confide in me.” Slowly at the sides of his arms Jeno’s hands ever so slowly ball up into fists.
“Well…we might have fooled around a little and things got out of hand and that’s why her back is killing her. It’s all my fault!” Matthew lowers his head in shame. “I shouldn’t have initiated anything. I shouldn’t have acted like I did…I don’t know what came over me… so any pain that she feels today is all because of me…I just hope she won’t be in bed any longer than necessary…”
Matthew goes on and on about how guilty he feels asking question after question and rationalizing what happened last night, letting a few things slip past his lips. The words, eating, pleasure, and you on top are the only things his brain picks up from Matthew’s babbling.
“You don’t think she’ll be in bed longer do you?”
Shaking his head Jeno runs a stressed hand through his hair. “Well, any physical activity might have caused more harm than good, or it might have helped. She needed to get some kind of activity going on so her muscles can loosen up but maybe that went a little too far,” he tries his best to chuckle. “I’ll be sure to work out any kinks she might have. I know staying in bed isn’t her favorite thing in the world.”
“Tell me about it. She’s already talking about what she can do with the project once she’s better. I  would actually prefer it if she stayed far away from this project. I don’t want her to get ahead of herself and get hurt again.”
“She knows her limits so I wouldn’t worry too much about that. Plus, what is she supposed to do when you leave for hours to work on the house? Sit at home and knit?” Jeno chuckles. “She’ll be fine,” he claps a hand on Matthew’s shoulder. “She’ll have the women to keep her company and if need be I’ll help keep an eye on her.”
“Really?!” Matthew perks up. “You’d really help me watch out for her?”
“Of course.”
“You have no idea how much that means to me. Well, I better get going before Mr. Smith throws a fit. She’s upstairs in our room. She’s eaten some breakfast so you won’t have to worry about that. I’ll be back around 5 this evening. If you don’t have any plans I’d love to continue our conversation from yesterday over dinner.”
“Our conversation?” Jeno tilts his head. “About your bedroom situation?”
Rubbing the back of his neck Matthew chuckles. “You REALLY helped us.”
“Well, if it really helped, sure we can talk. Try not to tire yourself out today.”
“Will do! And thanks, Jeno.”
“Mmm…”
✞TENSION RELEASE✞
Sighing against the fluffy pillow on your bed you hear muffled voices downstairs. Your brain running over every scenario that could be discussed between Matthew and Jeno, but your mind keeps drifting back to Matthew’s confession of talking to Jeno about your love life. Yes, you talked to Jeno about it, but that’s different. Right…?
Suddenly footsteps start to ascend the stairs and for some strange reason you’re terrified to see Jeno. Yesterday, you were awkward, nervous, but excited. Today, after what happened between the two of you and then your husband…how can you dare look him in the eyes?
His footsteps draw closer. A shadow creeps into view on the floor outside the master bedroom. Your heart beats like a drum in your ears. Your mind grows foggy.
This is ridiculous! You scream internally.
This is just Jeno! Your friend! Your best friend’s cousin! He’s practically family! There’s no need to be scared of him.
Jeno comes into view. Hair slicked back slightly. Eyes staring you down as he leans against the door frame. His arms and legs crossing with the most accusatory smirk on his face.
Shit…
“For someone who got their rocks off twice yesterday you’re looking quite well.” He snickers.
“Fuck you, Jeno!” You grumble.
“You will once you’re better.”
Cheeks blazing with heat your head rises slowly. Eyes glistening with a million and one different emotions. “Wh-What?!”
Pushing off the wall, Jeno saunters ever so slowly towards you. His eyes staring you down as if he were the predator and you his prey. “A little birdie told me that you had some fun last night but now you’re sore.” Shaking his head he sighs. “I do blame myself for some of the soreness, but you,” he chuckles sitting down next to you. “You went overboard.”
“What all do you know?”
Shrugging, Jeno peers down at you. “Not a lot actually. Care to explain why your husband is worried sick about you?”
Turning from him you slide down into bed, your arms crossing over you as if to protect you from his judging gaze. “We just fooled around is all.”
“Fooled around, oh yes, that makes sense.”
“What do you want a play by play?” You snap.
“No, but a little indication of how much pressure I’m going to need to use to help work out the kinks in your back would help.” Getting up he goes down to the foot of the bed. “Brace yourself.” He winks.
“Wh-Wha…AHHHHHH!!!” You scream when he grabs your ankles and yanks you down till your flat on your back. “Shit!!! What the fuck is wrong with you?!” You groan.
“That is for fooling around twice yesterday. I admit I shouldn’t have fucked you until your back was better, but you missy, what the hell were you thinking?! A second round when your back is so fucked up you can barely move on your own…are you crazy?!”
Not saying a word you do the only thing your body will allow you to do, flip him the bird.
“That’s mature of you.”
“And yanking me down like that is mature?!”
Now next to you, Jeno motions with his finger for you to turn onto your stomach.
“I can’t,” you whimper.
“Don’t make me flip you over. I won’t be gentle.” Groaning you flip yourself over in one breath. “See you could do it,” he gives your ass a light slap.
“Remind me to kick your ass when I’m feeling better.”
“I’ll be counting the days until you’re better.”
Crawling onto the bed and on top of you, Jeno straddles your hip. Sitting just below your bottom he pushes your loose fitted shirt up to your shoulders. Blowing on his fingers so that they’re not icy he starts to rub over your aching muscles.
A long moan moves past your lips as Jeno works his magic. “Fuck why do you have to be so god at this?”
Chuckling Jeno rubs over your lower back where most of the pain lies. “This is part of my job, you know. I should be good at it.”
“If you keep this up players may get hurt on purpose.”
Sliding his hands up your spine you melt into his touch. His hands curve around your shoulders giving them a little massage before slowly moving his way back down to right above your tailbone.
“Matthew invited me to stay for dinner tonight.”
“Oh?” You peek back to see a strange look on his face. “Matthew’s a wonderful cook. I don’t know what he’s planning on making but I’m sure you’ll love it.”
“He wants to talk to me about you and him.”
“I see…” Jeno’s hands still which causes you to look back again to see him looking down a darkness shrouding his face. “Jeno…” you whisper.
“What happened last night after I left?”
“What?”
“Why does your husband want to talk to me about his problems fucking his wife?”
“Wait…what?!”
“You said that the two of you fooled around, right?”
“Yeah…but I don’t understand how that has anything to do with what you just said.”
“What did he do to you? Why are you in your bedroom and not the guest room?”
“Jeno…please…”
“Tell me!” He shouts. “I need to know why I’m going to have to give your husband advice about how to fuck the person I’m trying so hard not to fuck right now! Why does he want to talk to me? I know I agreed to this arrangement but that’s because it was just for you, because I —” sighing he slides off of you. “Did he fuck you last night?”
Struggling to get to your knees you manage to sit up enough to crawl back to your pillows to rest your back. “If you’re asking me if his penis went inside of me, yes. If you’re asking me if he fucked me like you did, the answer is no.”
“What the hell does that mean?”
“Matthew…” you sigh. “He’s going through something, like I said. Last night, hell, I should thank you for last night.”
“Please don’t.”
“Come here,” you tap his shoulder with your foot. Glancing up and back he sees your arms opened wide for him. “Come here, Jeno.”
Rolling his eyes he scoffs. “I’m a grown ass man. I don’t need to be coddled like a child.”
“A woman has her arms open for you and you deny laying against her. Wow…”
“If it’s for pity then hell yeah I won’t go into your arms!”
“It’s not for pity. It’s for comfort. Something is bothering you. Jeno, as much as you helped me and were there for me, I want to be there for you.”
“I gave you a nice fuck that was it. I hardly think that constitutes as helping you and being there for you.”
“JENO!” You shout startling him. “Either get your pouting behind up here or leave now!”
Shocked his eyes dart across your face. Defeated he plops down on top of you. His arms encircling your waist while his head rests on your chest.
“I do need to thank you. Yesterday,” you giggle. “Yesterday you made me feel like I was someone to be desired. That I wasn’t made of glass. Matthew treats me with kid gloves but you,” your hand runs through his hair. “You treated me how I’ve always dreamed Matthew would treat me. To just fuck the shit out of me!”
“Damn you have issues don’t you?” Jeno chuckles, glancing up at you.
“Yes, I do.” You say bluntly.
“I didn’t mean it like that…”
“I do have issues. What I want and desire go against what my husband finds suitable. However, last night after you left, something changed in Matthew’s demeanor. He looked at me like a husband who wanted to dive into the depths of lust and desire. For once in our whole marriage I thought this is it! This is what I’ve been waiting for.”
“So he did fuck you…”
“Yes, and no. It was only when he was going to come did he enter me. And even then,” you groan. “He didn’t finish inside of me. He never does.”
“And that’s a problem?”
“Yes and no. When you came inside of me,” you start to feel your face getting warm. “I don’t know there was something very intimate about the act that I loved. I just wish Matthew understood how I feel about it.”
“Are you not going to tell me what happened? I mean who knows,” Jeno kisses your neck tenderly. “Maybe we can give it a shot too.”
“I was on top of him grinding against him. That’s it.”
Pulling away from you Jeno’s gaze goes from shocked to furious. “Well no shit your back is killing you! Are you crazy?! I tried my damndest to make sure your back wasn’t going to strain too much and here you are sputtering on top of your husband like a crazy person!”
“It was in the heat of the moment!”
“Heat of the moment my ass! That’s it, on your stomach! Now I’ve got to try to work out all of your stupid mistakes and then some!”
“Come on we were having a nice moment…”
“On your stomach now!!!”
“WHY?!!!!!!”
“Je-Jeno…” your breath hitches as his fingers ghost over your inner thighs.
“Hush, I’m working.”
“Are you?” You hold back a moan.
“This is a full body massage. You acted stupid and reckless so now we’re going through preventative measures.”
“And your hands between my thighs are for what reason?”
“Did I not speak clearly when I said full body massage?”
Squeezing tightly at your quadriceps, Jeno moves his hands up over your pelvic bones and back down to your thighs. Now laying in your back after an eon of Jeno tortuously working out the severe kinks in your back he decided to give you a full body massage. Sort of a sorry for breaking you even more than you were already broken. However, every time he slides his hands up and down your thighs, his ring and pinky fingers ghost between your legs — ever so close to your core.
“You know you really didn’t need to give me a full body massage. I was fine after the back massage. This is a little much…” you squeak feeling his pinky finger graze your outer folds. “JENO!”
Licking his lips Jeno looks down at you innocently. “What is it?”
“You know exactly what! You’re trying to touch me!”
“Sweetheart if I was going to touch you I would have already. Like I said this is a full body massage and I want to be as thorough as possible.”
“Thorough my ass…”
With one quick glance to see your gaze is off to the side Jeno slips his hands between your legs gripping your inner thighs.
“Jeno!!!!”
“I need to massage your inner thighs too. Geez you’re jumpy.” He tsks.
“I’m not…you’re doing this on purpose!” You gulp feeling your body become warmer the longer this massage progresses.
“Doing what on purpose?”
“Damn it, Jeno!”
Sliding his hands out from between your legs, he looms over you, his arms holding his body up. Lowering himself to where his breath cascades over your face he chuckles. “I promise nothing is going to happen unless you want it to happen. Yesterday,” he lowers himself more, the heat from his body mixing with yours. “Yesterday we were caught up in our emotions. Today, well, I don’t want to break you.”
“Break me? How in the hell do you think you’ll break me?”
“Yesterday was a taste of what’s to come in the future,” leaning on one arm, Jeno’s other hand travels down your body gently until he cups your core. Your breath hitches as his eyes darken. “So do both me and your husband a favor and get better soon. Mostly for me though,” bending down he snags your lower lip between his teeth.
“Ahhhh!!!! Jeno!!”
“What?” He pulls back smiling sweetly.
Your pelvis raises to meet his hand. Adding some pressure that you desperately needed to feel. “Help me…”
“Which way do you prefer?” He places a kiss on your lips. “Mouth,” he licks your lips. “Or fingers?”
“Mouth!!” You gasp when he rubs over your pulsing nub over top your pajama shorts.
“Excellent choice,” he growls before pulling away from you.
“J-Just this…o-okay? Nothing more!” You try to lay some ground rules.
Settling between your legs, Jeno makes himself comfortable. “Of course. I wouldn’t think of doing more.”
“Jeno…” you whisper.
“Yes?”
“Are you sure you’re okay with this?”
The room becomes quiet as the two of you stare into each other's eyes. Reaching up, Jeno grabs the waistband of your shorts as well as your underwear and yanks them down your legs until you can pull one leg out. Leaving the other leg entangled with your clothing, he pushes your right leg open to give him access to your soaking cunt.
“Enough with those questions. If and when I have a problem with things you’ll be the first to know.”
Gripping onto the bed sheets for what’s about to come you brace yourself. But what happens next shocks you…
Leaning in, Jeno kisses over your mound gently. His lips barely touching you. Feeling as if a feather was lightly brushing against your skin. Taking his time to leave no area untouched you find this soft and sweet side very arousing and shocking.
Not that you’re complaining but Jeno has an air about him that when he looks at you all you want to do is spread your legs and have him fuck the daylights out of you. To have him kissing your soaking outer folds with such tenderness is unexpected, but extremely enjoyable!
Looking up with a look in his eyes you haven’t seen yet, he spreads open your folds giving your clit a little smooch as well. Jerking slightly he continues his sweet actions until every part of your pussy has been shown some form of affection.
“Jeno~~~” you moan gently.
Smiling lightly at the sound of you saying his name, he sticks out his tongue and licks a stripe from your entrance to your clit.
“Ahhh~~~ yes!!!”
Wrapping his lips around your overly sensitive bundle of nerves he suckles on your clit like a newborn babe — giving himself a break to breathe every now and then he doesn’t stop pleasuring you. He sucks, licks, and lapse all of your juices that seep from you.
Your body coming alive as a particular swipe of his tongue at your entrance has your slick pouring out of you, Jeno does a good job of cleaning you up.
“You taste amazing,” he compliments with a loud slurp of your juices. “I should have done this yesterday!”
“My pussy is yours anytime you want it,” you say deliriously.
Peering up and seeing the rise and fall of your chest and your already fucked out expressions, Jeno lowers himself back to your pussy. “I wouldn’t say that if I were you…” He warns.
Wrapping his arms around your thighs, he pulls you down closer to his mouth. Diving into your pussy with more vigor, he has your back arching in mere seconds. Gripping onto his hair you keep him right where you want him. His lips smooching your clit, his tongue flicking quickly over your bud driving you closer to the edge.
Hips starting to grind against his face, he swiftly pushes down on your pelvic bones. “Don’t strain your back,” he pops up between your legs — face flustered pink, lips swollen, with your slick all over his lips and chin.
“Your mouth feels too good. I can’t help it.” You whimper.
“When you’re better you can ride my face, okay? But for now,” he dives back down giving your pussy — entrance to clit, a long hard lick, “keep your back flat and your hips down,” he kisses your inner thigh.
“Fine…” you grumble.
“Good girl,” he whispers.
The moment Jeno whispers ‘good girl’ your body engulfs in flames. From your toes to the top of your head your body tingles with something you’ve never felt before. How could two simple words cause you to react in such a way.
Now, the slightest touch from him has you moaning loudly. A mere flick of his tongue has your body sliding down closer to his mouth. Your breath choppy as you try to breathe. The air not making it quite to your lungs before another moan escapes you. Heart pounding in your chest and ears your stomach starts to churn. Heat pooling to your core, your hand flails to Jeno’s hair gripping on it tightly.
“Don’t you fucking stop, Jeno.” You groan.
Sucking on your clit harder, groan after groan comes from you. Wanting to twist and turn, to grind against his lips, to do something to quicken things to reach your climax you do the only thing you can do — fist the bed sheets until you can’t feel your fingers.
“Fuck! Yes! Yes!!!” You thrash your arms down onto the bed. “Faster!!! Please!!! Faster!!!”
Keeping his tongue out, Jeno bobs his head up and down while his tongue skates over your clit and entrance. Holding your folds wide open he slurps and soaks every inch of your pussy. Your body starts to tremble as the swiftness of his tongue starts to send you over.
Legs starting to enclose around him your eyes roll to the back of your head.
“Sh-Sh-Shit!!!!” You screech. “Ahhh fuck!!!!”
Pulling back from you, Jeno hastily rubs his fingers over your clit.
“Fuck!!! Yes!!! Yes!!!”
A burst of liquid comes from you in a stream. Doing his best, Jeno bends down taking your squirt into his mouth. Clamping his mouth over your pussy, your juices have no other place to go but down his throat. Drinking you up, he takes every last bit of your essence.
Body twitching and sensitive, Jeno lapse up some of your squirt that dropped from the corners of his mouth. Using his tongue he makes sure that you’re as clean as can be before coming up to you for a kiss.
“Thanks for that,” he smirks against your lips. “Was a little thirsty there.”
“Tha-That was…amazing!!!” You wrap your legs around his waist. “Fuck, Jeno!”
Crashing his lips onto yours, you clean up the mess you made. Relishing in the taste of your essence, your eyes for a second time roll back into your head. But not before you lick over his neck to get the remnants of your slick.
“Now I can’t wait till I’m better!” You sigh. Your head falling back against the bed.
Laying his body on top of yours,  you wrap your arms around Jeno securely. “Why?”
“If you made me come that much when I wasn’t able to do anything, imagine when I’m better and can ride your face!” You squeal.
Busting out in laughter Jeno buries his face in the crook of your neck. “You want to drown me don’t you?”
“Never!!! But I am certified in CPR if anything happens.” You giggle hugging him tightly.
✞TENSION RELEASE✞
“Sweetheart! Jeno!!!” Matthew shouts as he walks through the door. Body drenched in sweat with a pizza and a small bag in hand.
“She’s upstairs taking a nap,” Jeno raises a finger to his lips coming down the stairs as quietly as possible. “She passed out after the massage.”
“Well, we’ll have to save some pizza for her then.” He holds up the box. “I also picked up some soda on the way home.”
“Oh wow a pizza!!!”
“Didn’t know what you liked so I just got pepperoni and some Cola.”
“Perfect, let’s eat!”
Heading to the kitchen, Jeno offers to carry the pizza and the sodas. Setting them down at the table he glances over at Matthew who cools himself off with some cold water from the sink. The atmosphere light and less awkward then this morning.
“Was she really tight today?” Matthew asks taking a seat at the table.
“Yeah, her lower back had a lot of tough knots but I think the pain meds and the massage will take away any discomfort.”
“It was my fault. After our conversation I got ahead of myself when I should have just let her rest.” Matthew states popping open a can of cola and sliding it to Jeno.
“Thanks,” Jeno takes a sip. “Exactly what was it about our conversation that led you to do whatever it was.” Curiosity getting the best of him, Jeno leans forward. “What exactly happened, if you don’t mind me asking.”
His face turning a bright pink, Matthew pops open his can of soda chugging a good amount down. “Uhhh, well, we kind of…we-we didn’t do it do it, but we did other things.” He fidgets in his seat.
“Wait, you guys didn’t fuck? Why not?” Jeno chuckles trying to keep the mood light, however inside his stomach churns in an uncomfortable manner.
“You can’t expect me to fu…I mean have intercourse with my wife when she’s in pain!!!”
“I mean missionary’s always an option. It’s okay but not my favorite. Why not go with that?”
“Missionary?” Matthew peeks up from looking at his soda.
“You know when the girls on her back and the guys in between her legs. The typical position. Now me,” he leans in smirking. “While missionary is great, there’s something about the woman on top, or taking her from behind.” Jeno wiggles his brows.
Opening up the box of pizza Matthew takes out a slice and urges Jeno to start eating as well. “From behind…” he whispers. “An-And women like this?”
Munching on the slice of pizza Jeno shrugs. “Depends,” he takes a swig of soda. “Every woman is different. What does…oh shit…maybe I shouldn’t ask…” he laughs.
“Ask what?”
“I was just about to ask what your wife likes in bed.”
“I…I ummm…I know she likes oral,” his face brightens more. “Sort of found that out last night.” Realizing what he just said Matthew sits up straight. “DON’T TELL HER I TOLD YOU!”
“Anything we talk about is safe between us. I won’t say anything. I swear.” Seeing Matthew settle back down Jeno asks in a whisper, “so, she liked you eating her out?”
“A LOT!! I always wanted to try it but…it just felt…dirty, you know?”
“Nope.” Jeno chuckles. “Sex is a part of life. There are moments where it’s sweet and loving or passionate and aggressive and other times where it’s just downright nasty, but even in those moments it’s about the connection. Whether it’s with a lifelong partner or a one night stand. Two souls, two bodies connected for a brief time…That’s what I love about it.”
“How many people have you been with?”
“Three,” Jeno sighs. “Kind of lame when you think about it. My first time was when I was fourteen. She was a year older and I wanted to seem mature and it lasted all of thirty seconds I think. It was fucking embarrassing! So, when I did it for the second time, a different girl, I basically trained like I was aiming for the Olympics.
“Figured out how to last longer and just realized that even if I came that doesn’t mean it was over. I always make sure that my ladies are thoroughly satisfied. If it takes multiple rounds, so be it. I just want both of us to feel fulfilled by the end of it.”
“And the third person?” Matthew asks. “I’m sure you’ve learned to master things by then.”
Clearing his throat, Jeno averts his gaze. “The third woman,” he says softly. “She was someone I didn’t really know. Someone I had heard about through an acquaintance. But the stories they told and how well a picture they painted of her, man…when I finally met her I couldn’t believe my eyes.
“An absolute beauty. I fucked up in the beginning — said something I shouldn’t, but she was very kind and understanding. She made me feel…seen…you know?” Shaking his head Jeno exhales deeply pushing his can of soda away from him. “Well, anyway, I wish things turned out different but when we did have sex,” he snickers. “It was fucking amazing! The best I ever had. Of course it was…Her heart wasn’t available…”
“You guys broke up?”
“We were never together. She was…is…in love with someone else.”
“I’m sorry Jeno…I know there is someone out there for you. I mean look at me. I never would have thought I’d have such a beautiful wife but here I am!” Reaching over the table Matthew touches Jeno’s hand giving him a reassuring smile. “Just have faith and hang in there.”
Pretending to be embarrassed Jeno looks down and away. “Thanks…anyway…back to the subject at hand. So it seems like you took some of my advice about letting loose. Think you’ll do it again?”
“ABSOLUTELY!” Matthew beams. “Maybe not now though. I don’t want her to get hurt.”
“Yes, please try to keep the fooling around to a minimum.” Jeno laughs holding up his hands. “I think I might get carpal tunnel if the two of you do anything else.”
For the rest of the evening Jeno stayed and talked to Matthew. Strangely having quite a nice time. Matthew, despite being a man of God, was a pretty down to earth person. And yet, as he walks away from your home a darkness seems to surround him. Did he fuck things up for himself and you before the two of you truly experienced each other? Or is Matthew all bark and no bite?
Sighing and shaking his head Jeno takes one look up at your bedroom before sliding his hands into his pants pockets. “As much as it was nice talking to you Matthew,” he whispers to himself. “There’s no way in hell I’m going to walk away after today…”
With a roll of his eyes Jeno disappears into the night.
TO BE CONTINUED…

Mystic Flour and Cultural Confusion: part 1
Hello there, stranger. I see the smell of cookies has guided you through the white mist. Why don't you kick back and relax while I talk your ear off about the cultural significance of a baked good…
This is what I'm doing with my life.
Tumblr media
So, Cookie Run: Kingdom. A game that starts with the tone of Dragon Tales and somehow mutates into Lord of the Rings territory (Which I love by the way). Cookie Run as a franchise has always had dozens of characters from all different walks of life, many of them inspired by our real world. Devsisters dedicate a lot of time and effort to getting the cultural significance of their characters and plot lines correct, and they do a pretty good job…
Mostly…(I ain't going anywhere near that until I get more research and opinions on it.)
Tumblr media
When pulling direct inspiration from a real-world culture and introducing it to an audience of a separate one, It can lead to a surprising amount of confusion. A good example of this would be when something originated in one culture, but is far more known in a different one, causing some people to believe that a certain thing only belongs to one culture.
Incomes the main subject of this post. (finally,) One of the first cookies baked! The hero of Volition turned beast of apathy! Put your hands together for Mystic Flour Cookie!
She's excited, I swear.
Tumblr media
So…what does an overdesign treat have to do with what I just said? A lot actually. But alas, there's still one last thing I need to clarify, less I get mauled to death for not covering my bases.
Now, I'm not going to disclose the entirety of my identity as I care about my privacy. All you need to know is that I'm a minority in the Western hemisphere. The reason I feel it's important to disclose this is because people will use my identity, or lack thereof, to discredit anything I say, all because I MIGHT be some white guy in my 30s. One of the reasons for this behavior could be people trying to make sure someone isn't just trying to profit off of someone else's beliefs or culture, which I completely understand. I know what it's like when people attempt to use your identity just to benefit them in some sort of way, Even if it's not on the level of a religion or practice. It completely erases you as a person and just makes you an accessory.
However, the problem comes when you overdo it. I've seen a decent amount of people being attacked over interacting with cultures outside of their own, All because they don't fit the criteria of being enough of a certain ethnicity to do something. It's understandable to be mad when someone's making a mockery of what you care about, But it's entirely different when they're actively trying to learn and you still treat them horribly. It's kind of hard to learn about something when you're being told You're a monster for trying to do so.
To those who are curious or want to get in touch with your ancestry, You're still valid even if you don't breathe that culture every day. The only thing you really need is patience to learn and respect to understand.
Tumblr media
Oh yeah, you're still here. (Whoops)
The reason why Mystic Flour Cookie is important to this conversation is due to her cultural influence of Buddhism. Those who are at least somewhat familiar with the belief could probably pick up on the inspiration just by looking at her. (Keep in mind, children play this game so not everyone is going to know this.) From what I've seen, a sizable amount of people think Mystic flower is Chinese-inspired which…isn't wrong, But there's a bit more to it. I'll be showing quotes in links I used in my research, feel free to do your own digging. if you like.
Before I go ahead and start going into detail on Mystic Flour, I'm actually going to split up this post into 2 parts so it's easier for people to read. If you're interested you shouldn't have to wait long, and thanks for even bothering to read this.

idk if you’ve been asked this already, but could we get some daigo dating headcanons? 👉🏻👈🏻
Anything for my special Daigo baby boy. Thanks for ur patience anon I know it took me a bit to get back to ya. Headcanons below the cut, minor NSFW, have a good one.
Despite the strong, stoic persona he tries to present, Daigo is actually pretty innocent and shy when it comes to dating. Not aggressive at all, in fact can be quite passive and subtle when he wants to be.
Actually has very little dating experience. His lifestyle combined with his job doesn't leave much time for dating and his time in jail robbed him of his younger years to explore both romantic and sexual things. Deep down, he's still a little bit boyish about his crushes and gets nervous asking you out for the first time.
Don't mistake his shyness for weakness though. Daigo is an extremely supportive partner. He's a lot more emotionally sensitive than most would suspect and a pretty good listener. Great at comforting you during hard times.
Daigo believes in seeing romantic partners as equals in relationships so everything is 50/50 with him. He won't make sudden moves on you if he isn't sure you're comfortable with it first. Type of guy to actually ask if it's okay to kiss you for the first time. Pretty traditional with asking you on dates too.
Once he gets past the initial hurdle, he's a very cozy boyfriend. He has a very adorable smile that he saves specifically for you. He can afford to be lavish with dates and gifts if you like that, but he's also totally down to just chill out at his place and talk. He drops all the formalities once the initial dating and getting to know you stage has passed.
Prefers to keep your life and Tojo Clan business separate so he won't be bringing you on business trips or to meetings most likely, unless you met via Tojo Clan business and already have a history in that industry. It's not that he doesn't think you can handle yourself. He just isn't sure if he can fully do his job to his best ability AND look out for you.
If the relationship is rather serious, Daigo can get pretty domestic. He's always known he would likely settle down one day and even have a family but it's not until he has a serious romantic relationship that he actively WANTS these things. If you move in with him, he won't come down from cloud 9 for a few months.
Not the best with words and he knows it but he's trying. Lots of little intimate physical gestures, like rubbing his thumb over yours when he holds your hand or stroking your hair. Loves to fall asleep next to you or to lay his head in your lap.
Sexually, Daigo's somewhat more experienced. He's had his fair share of one night stands, it's just the romance department that's lacking. Can hold his own in bed and isn't shy to try most things as long as you ask first.
Secretly super into car sex. Office sex is only for emergencies as it's way too risky, so he has to really be desperate for that to happen. Tends to top but he can do whatever. Has a breeding kink but don't point it out, he'll blush. Pretty good stamina and can go a couple rounds in one sitting. Loves to kiss you during sex.

2023 Megaman Summer Fanart Contest Results!
I have no time to whip up a new results post image, but oddly enough I have a dorky 16-year-old drawing I can crop, that somewhat technically covers both themes, in some respect. Go figure.
Tumblr media
Thank you to everyone for your patience waiting for this post! Sorry, just have felt a little lacking in focus and energy to finish this until now. As usual, the top 3 who placed will be announced first, followed by the remaining entries in alphabetical order by alias. As an added surprise, I'm also throwing in a bonus runner up mystery winner position, since there were no raffle prizes or anything extra I threw in this summer. They will get the same cash prize as our third place winners. Winners will be contacted soon!
Without further ado, after the break, here are your winners and galleries full of art!
CATEGORY 1:  The Sand-ly Cup Playoffs (Talent)
For the talent category this year, participants were to draw a sand-themed Megaman character taking part in or ruining a beach sport event.
After each entrant’s name, there will be a link to the entry, too, just in case the inserted images don’t load for you. In the interest of not breaking your browser with the usual super-scrollingly-long post, entries consisting of more than 2 images will only have 1 embedded into this post, with links to each page separately.
[Full Cat. 1 gallery]
1.) Daidairo (@aurantia-ignis): [Entry] ($150 USD prize)
Tumblr media
Beautifully drawn, with so much going on to draw my eye towards! You've got Desertman not only helping his own teammate out by giving him a boost to spike the Met volleyball, but also firmly gripping Blues from moving with his legs covered in sand. Love all the other cameos in the background, with everyone being so active and enjoying the summer day.
2.) Kaitlin.EXE: [Entry] ($75 USD prize)
Tumblr media
In a summer full of surprises, it was a joy to see your art for the first time in a long while! If X DiVE had sadly not been phased out this summer, this would have been a set of skins/new summer characters I know a lot of people surely wanted, with a fun new boss alt design. Finding treasures buried at the beach definitely fit's Scaravich's profile, and his little striped swimsuit armor and diving attire gave me a good laugh, plus looks just perfect for him. The boys all have unique swimwear that fits them great, individually!
3.) @nightopianfoxgirl: [Entry] ($50 USD prize)
Tumblr media
Wait...Higsby died? This news ticker sure did take a dark turn at the end! Unless Anubis can use his nanomachines to bring him back and all. Amusing twist turning Anubis' staff into a microphone as he roleplays as Ribbita here. Meanwhile, Iceman, Bubbleman and Aquaman are drowning in the larger size uniforms somewhere. A little humor and a little fanservice mixed in to an overall crisply-drawn & colored piece!
*Bonus mystery runner up random prize!*
Tori: [Entry] ($50 USD prize)
Tumblr media
Those pair of Sasoreenu may have spikey drill tails, but Roll and Kalinka are strong enough to power through them! In fact, I think Roll is the one who is going to spike first, and it will be game-set-match for those scorpion bots! Great job, Tori!
Another surprise this year was this being an entry from the youngest participant I've ever had submit something, to go along with being the first ever time a parent and their child have both submitted an entry into the same contest! Good to know the current generation is being brought up as Megaman fans!
And the remaining wonderful entries, in alphabetical order by alias:
@dahlia-the-nurd: [Entry]
Tumblr media
Solar frisbee versus sawblade frisbee, who's better at chuckin' those things the farthest? I'll go with the guy who sticks his finger up claiming to be #1. Until a time stopping duo decides to mess with them both a little bit, and neither fly very far... XD
Dr. Fresh: [Entry]
Tumblr media
Doc Cossack and all his children enjoying some family fun on the sand. Love the variety having something different that they are all involved in. Bright Man's bulb having it's own 'sunglass' essentially is something clever and creative that I can't say I've seen anyone think of before!
@eulogysinger: [Entry]
Tumblr media
Love the concept of the digital touchscreen photos sent for Megaman to browse through, and how you incorporated all the Secret Area Navis into enjoying a beach break. It's funny seeing Yamato's shogun helmet changed into a beachwear sun hat, but still fitting his design so well. Also loved his little foot soldiers getting in on the fun with Desertman; honestly all the scenes are cute and amusing!
@ingopotato: [Entry]
Tumblr media
Looks like that sedimentary rock-themed Robot Master is about to be turned into... ...Sandstone.
Tumblr media
*ahem* Sorry. Ground Man mucking things up and the look on Stoney's face amused me. Very crisp art, and good job at really making it look like the sand is blowing and kicking up behind both of the main sandsurfing RMs!
Mattasaurs: [Entry]
Tumblr media
Mummira head is the perfect volleyball! Unfortunately, just as a decoy here, because bumping that one back over is not going to get you any points, Aile. That was certainly a very well-thought out creative choice in the composition, and I absolutely loved it. The proportions and angle really give a kind of neat fish-eye lens perspective in this piece, in some respects.
@pstart: [Entry]
Tumblr media
Well, if the net is out of commission, maybe Volnutt can stake up a defeated Nakel on two poles and hit the Reaverbot eye over it! I can feel the heat with the main sunny yellow background, but also thought keeping the two background characters in a shaded grey was an interesting style choice that also makes them seem like they are in the shade.
__________________________________
CATEGORY 2:  Bae-liawatch (Humor)
For the humor category this year, participants were to draw their fave characters with at least one as a lifeguard, in iconic red swuimsuits/trunks, as an ode to the series Baywatch. Despite my category title, nobody took the bait and drew Alia as a lifeguard, however, rendering it moot.
[Full Cat. 2 gallery]
1.) @grammars-doodles : [Page 1] [Page 2] [Page 3] [Page 4] [Page 5] ($150 USD prize)
Tumblr media
For main pun alone, your comic made me laugh the most! Baysquawks just works perfectly for this. XD Cute, fun, with a bunch of nice visual gags. Zack may have lived, but at the cost of poor Quacky Lacky lifeguard #3...
2.) @sylviidaee: [Entry] ($75 USD prize)
Tumblr media
The contrast in art style between these two versions is amazing! From the painterly shading, proportions, to what is happening in the scene, the "Expectation" (emphasis on PEC, while looking at Gutsy's chest!) panel is just wonderfully drawn! I don't think I will ever be able to unsee Gutsman as a grinning John Cena muscleman. XD
3.) VCampan: [Entry] ($50 USD prize)
Tumblr media
Points for the most literal pure parody of the theme, enabling the rare buddy comedy teamup of Sigma and X. Overall, characters and look matches up really well to the 2017 Baywatch movie poster, with plenty of little Megaman-themed tweaks, although I'm laughing at Zero in the CJ swimsuit/position. He looks thrilled to be put in that there! XD
*Bonus mystery runner up random prize!*
dmr: [Entry] ($50 USD prize)
Tumblr media
So, viewer, you are saying, "If Ace is the lifeguard, why isn't he in red trunks like it says in the rules?" Well, obviously Kelvin is the actual lifeguard, but he got too distracted flirting with that hot babe to bother to pay attention to any issues going on in the water. Isn't that another thing lifeguards are known for, anyhow? So Ace is just pitching in. Wonderfully drawn, with a lot of movement and interaction through their poses. Great job on the water and splashy effects!
And the remaining wonderful entries, in alphabetical order by alias:
 AbilityField: [Entry]
Tumblr media
Good thing Blues always wears multiple pairs of shades on his head that he never truly has to worry about losing them. I don't know if the same can be said for swim trunks, though...
@aw-colorcat: [Entry]
Tumblr media
Ice Man in the ocean would probably make the water cold, but I think the water's even colder when Miss Splashy is inhabiting it, after that frigid reply to Bubs. XD Goes to show how just a simple short retort can bring a good laugh. Cute, and loved Ice Man's meme-worthy expression!
miralie: [Entry]
Tumblr media
Miralie requested her entry to be censored a bit (as seen in the link above), to shield everyone from a glimpse at Sigma packin' his *ahem* um...Gunner Sigma. As a compromise, (with permission to post) I decided to edit in Zero spinwaving his way in front of the potentially offending bits and pieces. Or...ya know, maybe Sigma can spin Zero with his Junk-O. You be the judge. Granted, I didn't think your eyes needed to be shielded like Colonel is doing to Iris here, but sometimes it's OK to be like an overprotective older brother. Forgive her, Zero! She just wants to peek a little at the beach commander between Colonel's fingers. Because Miralie did draw him with quite the impressive physique, is all.
_______________________________
Once again, congrats to all the winners, and I will be contacting you about your prizes shortly. And thank you all so much for continuing to participate year after year, both regulars and newcomers! ‘Til next time!

Hello
My darling sinners, it's good to see you again. Yes, it's me, Sassy, here in the digital flesh. We should talk. Grab a drink, a snack, a pillow, whatever you need. It's time for an update.
I know it's been a while, too long really. I know I've been posting updates here and there, promising the return of my series and other works in the process. I would like to apologize for the lack of fulfilling those promises and activity on my part. I know a great many of you enjoy my work and use my stories as an escape, and more than anything I do love giving you all my work to give you access to a place to go when the world is too much to deal with.
With that being said, I have good news. For the last three months, I've been under tremendous stress trying to get into medical school, and it is with a sadness to say I didn't get in this application cycle. Am I disappointed? Absolutely. But I'm a hopeless romantic, or just hopeless, and I have every faith that everything happens for a reason. I retook my entrance exam just days ago and did exponentially better on it, and I'm hopeful this will be what I need to get into school for this upcoming application cycle.
So, where's the good news, Sassy? I'll tell you. Now that burden is off of my shoulders, I can finally breathe again. My every waking thought was about this test for the last several months, and not a lot else. It's been exhausting. What does this mean? I can start writing again. When I have impending stress looming over me, it's very difficult for me to be creative and use that side of my mind for anything but what I'm currently working on in hopes of alleviating that stress. It's not healthy, I'm aware, but it is how I function.
I would like to announce that it is my intention to finish Love, Eternal within the next year. I still have to write the ending (it's in my head, just need to execute). So if you are still here, I thank you for waiting on me. If you see this and have moved on, I wish you well, and my story will be here when and if you wish to finish it.
Thank you all for your patience. See you soon in my flourishing world of Love, Eternal.

Hey beautiful! How are you? How is the writing? I am missing Lloyd and princess so much to the point where I am going to have to reread their fic🫣will they be making a return in the near future? No pressure, just asking because I genuinely love those two.
Hey! Thanks so much for reaching out, it means a lot to know people still care about my writing - especially since I haven’t been very productive as of late. I know there’s lots of other talented fanfic authors out there for you to enjoy. 💛
I've been hanging in there, thank you for asking. Things have been pretty hectic lately for me. I’ve been working on chapter 27 off and on for the past two months and kept getting discouraged when it wasn’t turning out how I envisioned. Then, at the beginning of April, I got a job offer. It was very exciting and I accepted it immediately - however the process of starting that new job was ended up being very time consuming. The job itself is actually pretty easy, especially compared to what I used to do, which is great news for me!
Also, in the middle of job searching this winter/spring, I accidentally let one of my major professional certifications expire. (A word of advice: do NOT do this, it sucks. 😑)
Unfortunately it’s not a license I’ve actively worked under for the past two years, so I wasn’t eligible to just throw in some education hours and appeal the expiration. Because I hadn’t used my license recently, I had to take a semester long college course and re-test with the state and pass their in person practicals before they’d let me apply to get my license back. Basically they made me start over from almost zero. I was not thrilled.
That class is just now wrapping up. I still have to do the final exam, take my state licensing exam, pass the state practicals, and then I’ll be allowed to apply for a new license. It’s been a lot. Learn from my mistakes: don’t let your certifications expire. Those test are all coming up in the next two weeks.
Anyways, back to the point.
TPATL definitely took a hit during all this chaos, especially around midterms when everything began to pile up and the job change started to take shape. I kept promising myself I'd dive back into it, but life just kept throwing curveballs – like a last-minute job interview I had to rush off to, classes that got busy, etc.
But hey, I've finally managed to tackle Chapter 27. I admit, it wasn't pretty at first. The whole thing just felt flat, lacking any spark to keep readers engaged. It took me a while to pinpoint what was missing, but in the past few days, I've been able to breathe some life back into it. Right now I’m working on the last two scenes from Lloyd’s perspective and I have a couple more scenes to write from Princess’ POV.
I’m hoping to finish the chapter by the end of the week. Friday, perhaps?
Honestly, sometimes I wish someone would just chain me to my desk and force me to write! But I'm determined to get back on track, especially knowing there are readers like you who care about Lloyd and Princess's journey. So, thank you for your patience and understanding – it means the world to me. Hang tight, I promise TPATL will be back on track soon!

Good morning, Lia! 2, 3, 10 & 40 (if you want to) for the writer's ask thingie? :) 💜
Simon!!! Thanks so much for asking. I hope you have a nice day 💜💜
2) Anything that you'd like to write but feel like you're unable to?
I haven't really encountered that, I think. Not with an entire story line, at least. My limit is probably any sub-plot that gets too specific with details I'd have to research, because I lack time and patience to do it, so I often just wing it. Which is why in Royally Whipped Wille doesn't know much about baking (other than yeast doughs which I'm a master at) and why it's the celebrity version, where it's not about actual talent but being known.
3) How would you describe your writing style?
This is hard to answer becasue I never really thought about it. Plus, I feel like I'm quite inconsistent with it, I think? But generally I'd say I spend a lot of time writing about character's feelings and thoughts- I sometimes let it become too passive, rather than having it be active. So maybe introspective?
10) Top three favourite fic tropes.
I'll read almost anything with Wilmon, tbh. But I especially love forced proximity, enemies to lovers and (I know it has an actual name, but I'm blanking right now) when one character starts texting the other, not knowing who it is/thinking it's another person. Mistaken identity? Is that the one?
40) Write a 9-word fic.
When the door closed behind Simon, Wille broke down.
