summary: in which he sits and calls back the moment he was proud of his little one, and his title as their father.

a/n: been dying to write father/husband!tokrev so here's my take having a family with these scary men. all timeskip btw. not gonna fucking lie i cried writing draken's.

he remembers the way fatherhood hit him like a truck; a pleasant hit. is that even possible? he ponders, nontheless he thought so. he was just getting adjusted to the ins and outs of husbandhood, until you ecstatically told him you were pregnant with your's and his first child. now, with a little bundle of joy at the mere age of childhood—and some time to relax for once—he sits and reflects on a moment of his life as a father that he held dear to his heart.

RAN remembers the first time his daughter smiled up at him. a smile that shined so brightly despite it being one of her firsts. and the sweet babble that left her giggly self was like nothing he’d ever heard; who knew a sound could make a man feel so fulfilled? she knew, his daughter knew that he, a man who was feared and envied through the undergrounds of japan— was her father. "that's right sweet one, i'm your papa. i promise to love you forever, my little girl."

RINDOU remembers the first time you and him allowed for the little one to sleep on the bed between you two. until now, your son had been sleeping on a separate crib next to your shared bed, and rindou silently longed to have him next to you guys as the night draped its dreamy blanket over the three of you. therefore when the night finally came— rindou stayed up late to admire the pure, unconcentrated looks of sleep on his two loved one's faces. he fell asleep that night with a smile of contentment on his face.

HANMA remembers the first day his son went to school. from picking warm clothes the night before, then hastily throwing the lunch you made him into the his paw patrol backpack, to driving him to the front gates, and then carrying him on his hip into the school— hanma recalls it all. he remembers the large smile his little boy gave him as he waddled in line and into the school doors, blowing a sweet kiss to his father before he disappeared in the crowd. that day, hanma promised himself that he would give it his all for his child to gain the education and success he deserved.

SANZU remembers the still evening where he had been skimming through bills at the dinner table, eyes furrowing at the impalpable amounts. however, something from the corner of his eye caught his attention—his daugther was pulling herself up and had taken a few steps on her own. sanzu who wore a bright grin, and while in complete awe and shock, had facetimed you instantly to share the special moment. "that's our little girl, she's a winner already!"

DRAKEN remembers the first time he held his baby boy in his very arms. his newborn son, a human embodiment of the endless love he carried for you— and now him. draken lets out a breathless laugh at the sight of his baby wrapping his tiny fingers around draken's finger. in a loose grip that barely felt like much, draken blinked back tears as the baby cooed in his hold. "you've been giving mommy a tough time with those kicks of yours huh? it's nice to finally meet you, fighter."

a bit surprised tbh. he’ll stare at your phone case like he can’t believe what he’s seeing. gives you a disapproving look before taking your phone and and grabbing his photo card. he crushes kai’s photo card like it’s nothing and replaces it with his </3 kai was appalled when he found it on the floor of their dorms.

akaashi sighed as he watched you under the safe cover of the gym roof. it’s much warmer here, at least warmer than it was out there.

"keiji!" you cried out. "it's snowing!"

"i'm well aware," he nods. "that's why you should come here.”

"nonsense!" you exclaimed turning to him. "it's the first snow of the season!"

"i'm well aware," he repeats. "and if you stay out there any longer you'll catch a cold."

but you only ignore his comments. “so what?” you counter. “if i get a cold then it’ll be totally worth it.”

“no it won’t,” he sighs rubbing his temple, “i’ll have to take care of you if you are.” he adds.

“did you say something?”

and he only mumbles, “no,” before he watches you simply shrug and go back to the snow. the boy winced when he saw you slip and fall into the soft snow, realizing that you were only wearing a thin jacket. but despite this you simply sat up, laughing as snow continued to fall around you. he only shakes his head at your actions but he can’t hide the grin that grew on his lips.

“isn’t it pretty?” you smile.

yet akaashi could only think about how beautiful you looked in the snow.

stray snowflakes sat in your hair as you turned back to him. there's a bright smile on your lips, one that made his heart race as you reached a hand out, offering once more. “come join me!”

and who would he be to refuse?

so he walks over to you, taking his chances in the freezing weather as he helps you stand from the snow. he takes your hand, not missing how cold it was. “see?” you smile at your boyfriend who refuses to look at you and your happy grin. “that wasn’t so hard was it?”

he zips up your thin jacket, “you’re freezing.”

and you simply shrug, “i’m fine.”

but he simply hands you one of his gloves, “you need to take better care of yourself.” he sighs.

“aww,” you giggle, slipping it on, “thank you keiji. but aren’t your hands gonna be cold?”

and to that, he takes his hand, the one that had the matching glove, and slips it into your other one “they won’t be now.”

“so sweet, so cheesy,” you tease. but as you look back at the snow that continuously fell, akaashi could only keep his eyes on you. “now you can finally enjoy the snow wi-” but you’re cut off as his hand brushes a strand of hair away from your face before resting on your cheek, eyes taking in as much of your features as he could. “your hands are warm,” you mumble.

“that’s because i made sure to dress for the weather,” and despite the fact that your face falls, there’s a soft smile on akaashi’s lips before he leans into you.

there’s a sense of whimsy to it, the way that keiji kissed you as the snow fell. your hands wrapped around his neck as his continued to rest on your cheeks, trying to provide some kind of warmth. you swear you could feel him smile at the rather euphoric moment as you both felt a chill in the air. but neither of you minded heck neither of you cared.

keiji pulled away for a split second resting his forehead against yours.

a part of you wishes he could hear your racing heartbeat.

“do it again,” you whisper before he crashes his lips into yours once more, relishing in the happiness and pure bliss that this brought you. sure, you’ve kissed hundreds of times in the past, but this one felt different.

“again,” you sigh, feeling much warmer than before.

but this felt like one you wanted to remember forever.

“again,” you mumble against his lips.

it felt like something you wanted to commit to memory.

“one more.”

it felt perfect.

you pulled away from him breathless resting your head against his shoulder. “we should go back inside now.”

and you can’t help the smile on your face when akaashi’s grip on you tightens and he answers.

“let's stay out here a little longer.”

suna rintarou loved lazy days with you. he loved the way the two of you could just collapse on his bed after a particularly long week, wrapped around each other as the day passed by. there was just something about the gentle rise and fall of your calmed breathing as he rubbed circles into your back that made him etch the scene into his memory. it was something even more precious than a picture could capture, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

i genuinely feel like such an ass for doing this and i'm really sorry about it, so i apologise in advance. tw – mental health.

i started my first tumblr blog nearly two years ago, and this is my fourth. on my previous one, @/faetarou , i begun to feel really done with tumblr – i of course adore all the lovely people on this platform, but there are some not-so-lovely people, and it kinda put me out. i didn't talk about it, but i felt absolutely crushed by the need to update and writing my comfort characters filled me with a sense of dread and fear of rejection. i struggle with perfectionism@ in a really serious way that messes with my mental health and drove me to a really dark place of self-hatred last year that i never shared with anyone, and held me back beginning a new year.

i started this blog and @/cutenimi with high hopes, and i thought it would remedy the uneasiness and stress tumblr was beginning to creep upon me. starting the school year, i realise that didn't help, and what would really be best for me would be to leave tumblr.

obviously, i feel immensely guilty having promised so much and delivered so little, and it really breaks my heart to do this. i'm really, truly sorry, and i hope you can all understand.

MIKEY: he wakes up with no knowledge of what time or day of the week it is. is a complete baby in the morning and can't seem to function properly. you're more than likely to be up before him, so it's up to you to now wake him up. resembles a cat when he whines "mm no baby, 5 more.. more minutes." and pushes his face into your neck before he starts to snore again. he's more than likely to be clingling onto you too. when he finally gets up, his hair will be a mess and his eyes will barely open. often tells you that the only way to wake him up is with a kiss (pls give him one).

DRAKEN: (this is all i want in life) you awake to the feeling of two protective arms wrapped tightly around you. draken does this every night, unconsiously or not— you're going to wake up to his arms around you and his chin propped atop your head. sometimes he wakes first, if so, he'll be careful when manuvering himself to not distract you. when he feels like you two should get up, he tends to rub gentle circles on your skin to coax you up. gruff "'mornin"s and soft "sleep well hm?"s. loves loves loves seeing you in the morning, thinks you look amazing despite your futile protests.

BAJI: this guy snores like a father and always has his leg thrown over your stomach no matter what position he fell asleep in, so yeah, you're waking up first. he likes to sleep with your head on top of his arm, so he can wrap it around you. that way, you can't leave or else "you'll wake me up, and that's like dangerous territory babe." he's such a dork i hate him. despite his hold on you, you're able to turn your face over to face him; peppering kisses over his jaw and cheeks until he groggily wakes. "nngh, hu-h? what? oh, well good morning to you too," - before he grabs your face and kisses you right back (makes fun of your morning breath ok bye next)

CHIFUYU: i feel like he sleeps the most normal of them all. so it varies who wakes first between you two: sometimes him, sometimes you, sometimes simultaneously. and unlike baji, he's quite modest with sleeping positions so you won't wake up with a massive weight on top of you. instead, you'll stir from the prickling sensation of peke j rubbing his fur all over you and chifuyu. "shit peke j stop! y/n's still sleeping!" cue chifuyu climbing over you to get peke j on his side, thus waking you up in the process. "ah shit, sorry.." but he gives you a sweet good morning kiss to make up for it. rest assured he's too cute, you could never be mad at him for long.

TAKEMITCHI: baji 2.0 LMAO he sleeps like a rock too. when you stir awake, you 90% of the time find him fallen half-off the bed, yet still dead asleep. it's a funny habit he has and you never forget to snap a quick shot of him in such a position (you have a folder in your gallery and it's got over 20 pics). when you yank him up, he jolts awake and immediately asks "H-HUH? A-ARE YOU OKAY Y/N?" mf thought something happened to you (how sweet), but he's embarrased all over again when you show him the photo of his glamourous drool-stained face.

MITSUYA: on more occasions than one, you'll awake alone in mitsuya's bed. no, not because he abandoned you; he wouldn't dream of it— but because he had to take care of something for his siblings. whether that's prepping their school lunches, breakfast, a morning bath, or helping them with their hair (or all tbh). right after though, mitsuya will make his way back to you and gently wheedle you up so that the two of you can enjoy a nice, fulfilling breakfast together. sometimes though, he'll give into his temptations and fall right back into bed with you. he'll get comfortable once again and fall asleep for another half hour to the sound of your quiet breathing.

“What are you looking at?” You asked as Yeonjun gazed up at you from the pool. He rested between your thighs, his arms folded across your lap. Yeonjun looked up at you with an innocent gaze, but you knew that his motives were less than innocent. He wanted to go for a swim and begged you to come with. You preferred to stay out of the water but Yeonjun didn’t like that.

“Come into the pool with me.” He mumbled, playing with the hem on your shorts.

“I don’t wanna get wet.” You mumbled, trying to ignore Yeonjun’s touch. He was trying to persuade you since he knew exactly what made you feel weak. Yeonjun had you wrapped around his finger, even though you would never admit that.

“Well I don’t need to get you in the pool for that.” He smirked, making you gasp and push him under the water. Yeonjun quickly came back up, laughing loudly as he pushed the wet hair out of his face. Yeonjun loved to tease you, he thought it was cute how flustered he could make you and often liked to test your limits.

“You’re insufferable.” You groaned, slowly slipping into the water before Yeonjun could drag you in. The pool was freezing and the crisp night air did not help. Yeonjun instantly wrapped his arms around you, running his hands along your back and arms to warm you up.

“I don’t know why I got in here. I hate wet clothes.” You complained, shivering in Yeonjun’s arms as your t-shirt stuck uncomfortably to your skin.

“Well if you take this off, you’ll be more comfortable.” He smirked, toying with the end of your shirt. You scoffed, finding it amusing how Yeonjun never passed up the opportunity to flirt with you.

“You have hands.” You joked, a shy smile on your face. Even if you tried to act tough in front of him, Yeonjun always made you feel nervous.

Your boyfriend smiled back, lifting the wet shirt off your body and tossing it out of the pool. He looked at you with adoration in his eyes, pushing loose strands of hair away from your face delicately, as if you were some porcelain doll.

“You’re so pretty.” Yeonjun mumbled, placing kisses on the side of your neck. You let out small sighs as he sucked and nipped at your skin, lacing your hands through his hair and tagging harshly. Yeonjun groaned into your mouth, gently tapping your thighs so you coul wrap your legs around him. When you jumped up to do so, your foot slipped, making you fall under the water.

You came up quickly, coughing up water that had gone into your mouth. Yeonjun held onto the side of the pool from

“I hate you, Choi Yeonjun.” You sighed, obviously joking since you loved the man more than anything. Yeonjun knew how much you adored him and never took your jokes to heart.

“And I love you so so much, beautiful.” Yeonjun said, pulling you against him and placing multiple kisses on your face. You couldn’t help but laugh, trying to get out of his strong grip.

“Yeah, I guess I love you too.”
