takemichi perks his head up at the sound of his older sibling's voice getting louder as they made their way down the stairs and into the kitchen where he was

"michi! i have to tell you something! it's crucial! you can't tell anyone about this!!"

"not even mikey?"

"no! not even him! this is really important!!"

his sibling dragged the chair backwards to sit on it before moving it forward with their body to get closer to the kitchen island

they lead over the counter to look at takemichi--who was just drinking the leftover milk from the bowl of eaten cereal--

they adjusted their position on the chair, now sitting in a kneeling position with their legs under them and having their arms folded over each other on the counter

"whats so important? you don't usually wake up this early.." he whispers the last part

they just smile at him and then look over their shoulder, making it seem like they don't want anyone to hear what they were going to say to him

looking back at him they wave their hand for takemichi to get closer

he leaned over a bit but [name] didn't appreciate that he still wasn't close enough

"come closer! i don't want anyone to hear this, only you" [name] whisper-shouted

he furrowed his brows but leaned even closer to hear what his older sibling wanted to tell him

"whats wrong? did you do something to shinchiro-san again?" he asked

"nah, not this time, but you have to promise me you won't tell anyone what im about to say.. its a very important secret I was keeping from you.." they sadly smile at him

he rabidly blicked, his older mature and very honest sibling keeping something from him??

[name] looked like a sad puppy from keeping this very important secret from him, so he nodded, takemichi didn't want [name] to feel guilty..

MIKEY: he wakes up with no knowledge of what time or day of the week it is. is a complete baby in the morning and can't seem to function properly. you're more than likely to be up before him, so it's up to you to now wake him up. resembles a cat when he whines "mm no baby, 5 more.. more minutes." and pushes his face into your neck before he starts to snore again. he's more than likely to be clingling onto you too. when he finally gets up, his hair will be a mess and his eyes will barely open. often tells you that the only way to wake him up is with a kiss (pls give him one).

DRAKEN: (this is all i want in life) you awake to the feeling of two protective arms wrapped tightly around you. draken does this every night, unconsiously or not— you're going to wake up to his arms around you and his chin propped atop your head. sometimes he wakes first, if so, he'll be careful when manuvering himself to not distract you. when he feels like you two should get up, he tends to rub gentle circles on your skin to coax you up. gruff "'mornin"s and soft "sleep well hm?"s. loves loves loves seeing you in the morning, thinks you look amazing despite your futile protests.

BAJI: this guy snores like a father and always has his leg thrown over your stomach no matter what position he fell asleep in, so yeah, you're waking up first. he likes to sleep with your head on top of his arm, so he can wrap it around you. that way, you can't leave or else "you'll wake me up, and that's like dangerous territory babe." he's such a dork i hate him. despite his hold on you, you're able to turn your face over to face him; peppering kisses over his jaw and cheeks until he groggily wakes. "nngh, hu-h? what? oh, well good morning to you too," - before he grabs your face and kisses you right back (makes fun of your morning breath ok bye next)

CHIFUYU: i feel like he sleeps the most normal of them all. so it varies who wakes first between you two: sometimes him, sometimes you, sometimes simultaneously. and unlike baji, he's quite modest with sleeping positions so you won't wake up with a massive weight on top of you. instead, you'll stir from the prickling sensation of peke j rubbing his fur all over you and chifuyu. "shit peke j stop! y/n's still sleeping!" cue chifuyu climbing over you to get peke j on his side, thus waking you up in the process. "ah shit, sorry.." but he gives you a sweet good morning kiss to make up for it. rest assured he's too cute, you could never be mad at him for long.

TAKEMITCHI: baji 2.0 LMAO he sleeps like a rock too. when you stir awake, you 90% of the time find him fallen half-off the bed, yet still dead asleep. it's a funny habit he has and you never forget to snap a quick shot of him in such a position (you have a folder in your gallery and it's got over 20 pics). when you yank him up, he jolts awake and immediately asks "H-HUH? A-ARE YOU OKAY Y/N?" mf thought something happened to you (how sweet), but he's embarrased all over again when you show him the photo of his glamourous drool-stained face.

MITSUYA: on more occasions than one, you'll awake alone in mitsuya's bed. no, not because he abandoned you; he wouldn't dream of it— but because he had to take care of something for his siblings. whether that's prepping their school lunches, breakfast, a morning bath, or helping them with their hair (or all tbh). right after though, mitsuya will make his way back to you and gently wheedle you up so that the two of you can enjoy a nice, fulfilling breakfast together. sometimes though, he'll give into his temptations and fall right back into bed with you. he'll get comfortable once again and fall asleep for another half hour to the sound of your quiet breathing.

Where they are all in a meeting and the reader is one of the strongest fighters Toman has to offer and when Kisaki shows his ugly as face (I really hate Kisaki can’t you tell? 😂) he actually has the audacity to try and punch Takemichi and the reader gets pissed. Not romantic, the reader views both boys as his younger brothers. And basically adopted the two as his younger brothers.

Mikey’s not an easy person to understand once you really got to know him

His apparent simple-mindedness meant that you’ve barely scratched the surface of who he was

At times it seemed like he was incapable of ever truly opening up and displaying how he felt, having gotten too used to bottling things up until numbness spread through him

For someone who considered him as one of their closest friends, it shouldn’t have been too difficult to take a guess or to as to how he was—though there was no guarantee that the guesses would be correct

But after having known him for quite a while, things gradually grew more obvious, and they had no idea why

Until they realized that whenever that blank look crossed his eyes, feelings would swell inside their chest, emotions clawing at their insides as if begging for a chance to emerge

Though his face would be devoid of emotion, they’d feel a twist of anguish and despair as he watches on, blood pooling at his feet for what felt like the hundredth time

Or whenever he’d sit back on his elbows in his room, laughing at his friends’ bickering, they’d feel an uplifting lightness that tugged at their heartstrings and had them smiling subconsciously

He’d be sitting atop the steps, his ToMan jacket draped over his shoulders, having received the news of another betrayal that happened right under his nose, and fury would envelope them entirely, its talons scratching at their body and almost blinding them; an irrepressible anger that never shows

And they’d know. They’d know without a shadow of a doubt that these feelings that have them nearly doubling over with pain or laughter were a mirror image of what Mikey himself was feeling—probably even magnified

Admiration swells up within them, and they’re in awe of how incredible he must be, never letting a sliver of an emotion slip onto his face—unless he deems it safe to do so

It was only further confirmed, when during an ugly-crying session over at his house, a pained expression made onto his otherwise cheerful face as he wiped at their blotchy cheeks

And yes, he confirmed that he meant that literally and not as a stupid hyperbole

That was when they realized that both their lives were so intricately entwined that every single emotion was doubled on their end; both a blessing and a curse

And though at times the soulmate bond was… tedious, to say the least, they were eternally grateful that if anyone had to be theirs, it was him

Now Takemichi has the exact opposite problem; his facial expressions show exactly what he’s thinking most of the time

Leaving little to their imagination, everyone can almost instantly understand how he’s feeling, and honestly it’s kind of endearing in a foolish sort of way; something entirely unique to him that just makes him so lovable

And all of his endearing qualities that make up who he is are exactly the reason why it was easier than breathing to get so close to him and cherish him so deeply the way they did

Having Takemichi as one of their closest friends meant that they had front seat tickets to see his every emotion flicker across his face

Though it was a little alarming at first when they figured out that their bond translated into more than just enjoying his reactions, but also feeling every last emotion that caused these reactions

When terror clung to them in a vice-like grip, teeth chattering, they could see him stand up with shaky legs and a pale face

With every ounce of determination that blazed in his eyes, they could feel a certain stubbornness swell and grow in their chest, headstrong as they stood their ground alongside him

And an overwhelming surge of affection would send tingles down their limbs every time they’d hear that they were all safe once more, and every time they’d spend the little moments together where nothing means everything all at once

Sometimes, guilt and despair would swirl in their stomach and threaten to swallow them whole, and that always happens whenever they’d lose one of them to the brutality of youth

They’d see Takemichi with his fists clenched and barely holding back his sobs, and they’d feel their heart drop to their knees as it finally dawned on them that every single one of these overwhelming emotions they’d been feeling had been his

He was infinitely stronger than they thought he was; than anyone thought he was, and it made their love and appreciation for him grow like thick-rooted vines in their heart

They only realized that that bond wasn’t just a one-way street when he’d come over to their house after they’d had a fight with Draken over something that aggravated them

They’d been stewing in their anger for quite some time when Takemichi had entered their room, a thunderous expression on his face and scowling so deeply that it was quite alarming

“Who do I have to beat up?” he started warming up his shoulders as his voice held a definite threat, and it took everything in them to not burst out loud laughing

With a certain look of mischief in their eyes, they told him that it was Draken, and it was hilarious to see how quickly he deflated after that

After a quick questioning, the blond confirmed that he could indeed feel every emotion of theirs magnified, down to the last one, proving that the ties that tethered them together were mutual

And though the soulmate bond wasn’t exactly the easiest thing to manage (especially during private moments when either of them would’ve much preferred to wallow in their own feelings), they knew that having him as theirs was probably the best case scenario

baji and chifuyu was panicking, especially baji. how can he be calm when the girl who leaned over him suddenly passed out and had her nosebleeds. "(name)!" baji kept on yelling her name but nothing happened, she was too far on her sleeping land.

"baji-kun, put this on her!" chifuyu gave baji a warm cloth and he immediately placed it on her forehead. she wasn't sick but they couldn't really think of something other than putting a cloth like she's sick and hope for the best. "(name)..... "

"i didn't do any progress but i was told i wasn't the only who can timeleap!" he exclaimed and naoto raised his eyebrows, confused at takemichi's words. "(name) (last name), she was the first one who confronted me if i was time leaper and when i denied it, she told me she was." takemichi stated.

"(name) (last name)?" naoto muttered, hearing this name bring back memories of the (your hair color) girl hanging out with hinata and him when he was younger. there were possibilities that (name) could also time leap, but what or who could be her trigger?

"(name) doesn't have a trigger, doesn't she?" naoto asked, looking at the black hair boy that was sitting on his couch, who shooks his head as a respond. naoto was thinking about something but takemichi had other plans tonight.

"naoto, let's meet mikey!" takemichi told naoto, who immediately glared back at him. "no, it's too dangerous." he stated, not completely wrong about what he said but that didn't shake the idea from takemichi. "i want to talk to him in person." but naoto just shooks his head. "that won't change anything." takemichi stand up from the couch and walked towards naoto. "please naoto." and hearing that, naoto sighed.

"takemichi.. the reason for mikey's change was draken's and (name)'s death." takemichi was taken a back, didn't (name) died in the future and draken died? "draken and (name).. is dead?". akkun went quiet a bit before responding to boy behind him. " draken and (name), who wasn't supposed to die, died." takemichi gasped. "they weren't supposed to die and here i am living it up with dirty money" akkun said as he climb up the rail.

takemichi couldn't believe it, what happened? akkun muttered a few more words before giving a smile to takemichi. "save everyone, mr crybaby hero." takemichi was yelling at him to stop but it didn't shake the red hair boy mind. "akkun!!" he kept yelling but stopped when akkun jumped from the building.

takemichi walked to the spot where akkun was just standing on and looked below, there he saw the red hair boy, lying on the ground with his leg broken and dead. takemichi began to hyperventilated, he stumble back and fell on his butt. it took him a minute to process and once he did, he screamed in agony.

naoto found his way to takemichi, who was on the floor, crying his eyes out. he was brought for an interrogation but naoto told the police officers to let him gain his composure but takemichi denied his offer and told him he's ready to be interrogate ann before he walked up to where the police officers were, he told naoto to search any information about draken and (name)'s case.

he needs to know what happened. if he know, he surely can find a way to save you, draken, hina and akkun.

' i'll definitely save you all! no matter what!".

"takemichi-kun. while you were being interviewed, i look up on ken ryuguji and (name) (last name)'s death just like i promised." naoto said as he search and open a file from his computer. "i extracted from a passage from a newspaper from that time." he added as he sat down on his chair, takemichi walked closer to naoto to see the newspaper and stood behind him.

"on august 3rd 2005, in a parking lot in tokyo's shibuya ward, a 50 person brawl broke out in a biker gang, a middle school student passed away after being stabbed in the abdomen with a knife and another middle school student passed away after being caught up between the fight and was beaten to death."

"those two middle schoolers were ryuuguji ken and (name) (last name)." he added. "according to the comments from that time, it seems ryuuguji died due to an infighting between the 'mikey faction' and the 'draken faction' of toman. as for (name), it wasn't specific why exactly she died, it just mentioned that it was because she was just caught between the brawl." takemichi couldn't believe what his ears listening.

(name) could hear birds chirping and the sunlight shining on her close eyelids, she had opened her eyes but immediately close it when the light nearly blind her left eye. she sat up from her bed and stretch her body, letting out a satisfied groan.

that was the most comfortable sleep she ever had, got her drooling and all that. she was still in daze, not completely leaving dream land until she heard snores beside her. she opened her eyes to see baji and chifuyu sleeping with snacks and mangas scattered around them. her stomach growled, she didn't really ate anything much last night other than peyoung yakisoba.

(name) stood up from her bed and quietly went to the kitchen to make breakfast for the three of them. it was very quiet and peaceful as she cook the food until she heard footsteps and s groggy voice calling her name in the hallway. "(name)?" it was chifuyu, his hair was messy, look like he straight up ran to the kitchen after he woke up. cute.

"hmm? is there a problem, fuyu?" chifuyu went up to her and placed a hand on her forehead, (name) was obviously confused but she just rolled with it. "you scared the life out of us last night." chifuyu sighed. "hm? last night? what happened?" (name) asked, she didn't remember since she passed out.

"you passed out all of a sudden and then your nose bled.. a lot!" chifuyu pointed at the kitchen's trash can and she can a pile of tissue with red tips. "baji nearly called the ambulance since you didn't woke up after an hour passed". so the very good and comfortable sleep she had, was only because she passed out?

"oh wow.. i'm sorry for worrying you two." (name) sighed as she placed the food she cooked on the table, chifuyu's eyes sparked since he was very hungry too. "but i'm alright now! you can stop worrying about—" she was trying to reassured chifuyu but was caught off by a grumpy long black boy.

"stop worrying? what kind of bullshit request is that!" he shouted before sitting down and yelling 'thank you for the food!'. both chifuyu and her followed baji and ate their food in silence. they finished their food, wash the dishes and clean her room in silence.

baji was the one who broke the silence, they were hanging out at her balcony, drinking cold beverages and enjoying weather. "you changed a lot (name)" chifuyu nodded. "i'm pretty sure the captains noticed this too." baji added. (name) couldn't really answer his questions, she'll sound unbelievable and stupid so she kept quiet.

DRAKEN always pats your head whenever you're around; it was a silly habit that started off as something draken would only do sometimes. whenever you were around, he had the sudden need to place a big palm atop your head and pat. it evoked a cute reaction from you; ears tinting pink while you stare up at him in mild shock. now that he does it so often, he gets a bright smile in return. once you even placed your own hand on top his, and draken felt his knees grow weak. imagine the sight of a 6'0 man with wobbly knees? yeah, that's draken at you.

BAJI sits with you on the bus; he sat with you at the bus stop to wait, saying he didn't mind the cold winds that whisked against you two. time passes and with a tap of his and your cards, the two of you board the bus quickly. you plop down towards the back, and baji sits himself all nuzzled beside you. his nose is slightly red and his breath is somehow still visible so you make an effort to warm him up. you lean into his side and smile to yourself when he melts against you. "i could stay like this forever."

TAKEMITCHI bought you a necklace with your name on it; it was a birthday gift that he had nervously purchased from an online store. it was personally made just for you and takemitchi marvelled at the way the charm with your carven name adorned your neck. although bright against your skin, takemitchi couldn't help but find your smile so much greater. he was sure now, that the way you stared at him with utmost happiness and appreciation, beat the nervous sweat of his palms against his pants tenfold.

CHIFUYU smiles at you when you walk into class; the bell rang a few minutes ago, and you were pacing yourself up the stairs to your next class. moving through the busy crowd, you found yourself getting annoyed at those blocking your way. 'what a great way to start fourth period,' you thought, finally making it to your room. upon entering, chifuyu who sits behind you immediately catches your eye. he smiles cheerfully and waves at you, his spirit clearly lifted upon seeing you. and you could say the same for yourself—with the way your cheeks feel all warm and tingly. maybe fourth period won't be so bad after all.

MITSUYA shares his earphones with only you; many people had asked him: hakkai, baji, and even draken, but he had only agreed to share with you. since he already sits next to you in class, he'd figure that he would share with you (although the constant fidget of his foot under the table told him otherwise). you placed an earbud into your ear, and hummed quietly to the music as did mitsuya. however, your wire kept falling out, and with a sorry grin you shift yourself closer to him. in that short instance, your leg brushed up against his. mitsuya didn't know how he managed to stay still. so there he was, listening to music with his crush, who's leg was pressed to his.
