When I was a kid our tv antenna was not the greatest and we often had to endure shaky signals when watching tv. Most of the time it was not too bad, but I remember at times lying on the floor with my legs stretched up along the wall so I could touch the antenna with my toe. Whenever I lost contact with the antenna, the tv would lack so badly that you struggled to keep up with what you were watching, so I did my best to stay very still. I don't remember anything about the problem or how long it lasted, but it's actually nice to think back to watching tv with my family from the floor in the living room (the rest of them weren't in the floor obviously)

I don't know why I feel the need to write this, but this post just brought back a memory I haven't thought of in a long time

I mean, I could be wrong, but it seems like she gets more morons hounding her than the rest of RWB combined.

Mischaracterization I guess. In their heads Yang was originally a character whose only personality traits were being an older sister, being good looking, likes hitting things and being funny, flirty and a party person. They didn't think that she was way more than that, and she went through a character arc that does not fit the idea they had of her. The hot party blonde actually isn't a bimbo and has traits beyond being funny and hot. Turns out she's a complex human being who has flaws and human emotions and who wasn't really cheery after *checks* getting her arm cut off by a dickhead and going through PTSD and depression. Hence those people saying "V4 Yang isn't Yang anymore, they don't understand that Yang was never that person they thought she was, she was always more than that and she grows and changes. Another reason she gets hate I guess it's precisely because it turned out she was queer. She doesn't have a confirmed sexuality, but the thought of the fact that the hot blonde party gal with big tits not only has human emotions but could also be a lesbian or at the very least is into chicks and ends up with a chick wasn't very appealing to many people either. Those are my thoughts.

Figure 1: First War with Hybern. I’d place him at about 24-27 here. Traditional cut of soldiers of his rank. Adolescent by High Fae standards, but still old enough to serve in his father’s army. He’d worn it long up until this point and had to force himself not to be upset when he had to cut it all off

Figure 2: How I imagine Eris when he’s first introduced in canon as a named character, like when he’s negotiating with Keir and Rhysand and preparing for the war. Hair reaches down to his shoulder blades, slight wave to it, middle part

Figure 3: Second War with Hybern and on. I personally picture him with this hair even in the High Lord’s Meeting, but mainly this is just how I imagine him during and post-war (through and beyond Silver Flames as well). Gets more wavy, bordering on curly, the shorter it is. Switch to side part

Figure 4: High Lord Eris. Post-canon. This is the hair I picture (though styled better) in the fic Falling Stars by Phebes. This is also the hair I picture him having in my own fic Betting Like You Know the Odds. I most often imagine him with Figure 3 hair, even in a possible High Lord Eris future, but I reserve this fourth style for specific instances like the ones mentioned. Switch back to middle part as waves become more loose again
