two failed surgeries and a severe anxiety diagnosis later, i cheat take away the fatal illness and disable tragedies for antonia AND aziraphale! (i forgot to mention it but while crowley was out here getting surgeries, she nearly got targeted by a serial killer. at this point i nearly fucking deleted life’s tragedies)

they both get some sleep after all the trauma it is now sim day 3. while aziraphale goes to her culinary career, i let antonia celebrate with two hookups from the simda dating app and she gets promptly railed by akira kibo and johnny zest.

aziraphale always has a tense moodlet from being introverted and particularly wasn’t feeling it when akira fucking kibo would not leave so i use the extreme violence mod to murder his ass while antonia naps.

now that its just them, we finally catch up on getting the ineffable idiots together :)) they flirt more, hug and eventually woohoo on the coffee table and go to sleep. they’re also officially dating

i make some adjustments to the house because crowley now has a crotch groblin inside her. the wives share a room, and crowleys old room becomes a yellow nursery for baby girl!

Astrology observations

𓆩♡𓆪 Usually people tends to ignore rising sign when it comes to love and relationships, tbh it's such an underestimated placement even if in my personal opinion it's the most important. It's not only the hyped appearance or vibes, it literally dictates your life path, your life choices in every area, after all without a rising sign we can't even have the other houses.

𓆩♡𓆪 About love and relationships, I've noticed that fixed rising signs tend to be more drastic about their choices. It doesn't matter in which sign is their venus or moon, once they've decided to cut of a person or break up there's literally nothing that will convince them otherwise. Usually fixed risings tend to be dramatic and have many "break ups" with a lover but once they finally decided even if you become their ideal lover they literally don't care, will ignore your presence and avoid you like pestilence. They can't forgive or continue to support your ass, when it's over, it's over. Some tend to be bitter or have negative memories about their ex lover(s), all they see in you are flaws and faults.

𓆩♡𓆪 On the opposite are mutable risings, which are way too sacrificial, patient and giving the benefit of doubt whenever you need it. It's unfortunate to see how they continue to "makes excuses" for their lovers. Like bitch (affectionate), don't avoid reality. They are guided by hope, hope in a better future, a better you which usually continues to fade, particularly in youth, in fact I've seen many individuals that have toxic relationships, or attract toxic people that tends to use them. Usually cardinal suns tend to attract eachother but most of the time they end up fighting and hating eachother, which leads to "vent" their frustrations on their kids. Usually they have great expectations from their kids, can be very bossy and strict, they like to control their children's life since they doesn't have any control on their private life (easily influenced by friends, other family members or societal expectations).

𓆩♡𓆪 Sun sign attraction is real, usually I've seen same quality attraction. Like fixed with fixed, cardinal with cardinal etc. Cardinal signs usually are a mess, they fight a lot and usually ends up in break up or divorce. Mutable signs fight a lot yeah, but usually with time they develop a strong friendship which helps them to safeguard their relationship. Meanwhile fixed sun signs tend to have long relationships but usually one of them tends to hide something from their partner, like weird behaviour, and they break up unexpectedly, like it's a big surprise for everyone except them.

I would think one possible bad fight would be about MKs sacrifice, and him possibly doing it again.

Mk is reckless with his own life, and he loves friends and family more then he could love himself, it's where his over protectivness stems from. (That and his self sacrificial nature is probably programmed into him by nature, fucking thanks nuwa. The THE ONE mother figure mk has and she had to be the one that fucks up a perfectly good child)

Nezha may be immortal but mk would still actually jump in front of a blade for him without hesitation.

Tw mentions of past and attempted self sacrifice

This works very well, afterall Nezha would do the exact same thing because he shares a similar mentality. You don’t just sacrifice yourself for your family without having some issues.

This would come to a head at a terrible time, mid battle with a demon! Mk and Nezha both struggling early on in their relationship, pre-therapy, wanting to protect the other while also bringing down the big bad. Nezha might take a blow that was meant for Mk, and Mk freaks.

He and Nezha get into it. Nezha isn’t that hurt, mostly bruised, but Mk is absolutely losing his mind over the fact that his beloved just got hurt because of him.

Then you have Nezha who is trying to talk to his bf, but mk won’t listen, and they progressively get louder and louder. Until it reaches a point where Mk and Nezha are screaming at eachother in the middle of the battle field, and the fighting just… stops, because nobody has seen either of them get like this. The demon akwardly apologies to the others and leaves because damn this is awkward.

But the two idiots don’t notice, they just keep up the screaming match. Until Nezha has enough, and tells Mk in no uncertain terms that this shit isn’t going to work. He’s a celestial warrior, he can hold his own, and he doesn’t need to be coddled. Mk tries argues that he just wants to protect Nezha, but Nezha stands firm.

They don’t talk for a month.

Nezha is miserable during that time, and Jing teaches him the wonders of growing your sorrows in (strawberry) ice cream and crying into the pillows.

Mk in the other hand is left to think, and with some encouragement form ye others, decides to seek therapy with Sandy. It’s not easy, and the whole month without Nezha is agonizing, but Mk is determined to improve himself before he asks Nezha out again.

After a month, Nezha’s absence was strong enough to motivate Mk to reach out. Nezha was hesitant, but accepted a simple picnic date “to talk”.

It was by far, the most sweetest thing. Picknic basket full of all of Nezha’s favorites, a pretty strawberry themed blanket, and quiet spot outside the city where no one could see them.

They chatted for a bit, akwardly feeling things out, until Mk comes out and apologizes to Nezha for all the hovering. He akwardly explains that he just didn’t want Nezha to get hurt, and that he never saw the Prince as incompetent. That seeing Nezha hurt, even if a bit, was like lighting a fire. But he also apologies for overstepping boundaries, and acknowledges that he is working on the problem.

Nezha himself apologizes as well, aware that he had similar reactions in the past to Mk taking blows for him. He also apologizes for causing such a big blow out about it in public instead of privately, but Mk insisted it was fine, and that it was the wake up call he needed.

Nezha def cries when Mk asked if he’d still be his precious strawberry, and Mk nearly cried when Nezha agreed.

This isn’t the last time, but it’s def a big step in their relationship.

Ok but theres TWO characters, TWO CHARACTERS, who give me the same fucking vibe.

Damian Wayne and Selwyn Kane

LISTEN- THEY ARE BOTH SELF-LOATHING BLACK HAIRED TEENAGERS THAT HAVE TO DO WITH SOMETHING "demon"OR POWERS THROUGH A SIDE OF THE FAMILY.

They both were forced into the roles of soldier/Bodyguard/Assasin/vigilante at a young age, and sure you can argue for damian that it was bound to happen or else he would have risked himself and he already raised as an assasin, same with selwyn, If he wasnt oathed to nick he would have transformed into a full demon he didnt really get a choice and he ddint want to loose his humanity.

SEE:

-Both forced into roles that no chikd should be put through, highly dangerous and/or with high manipulation and torture

-Both didn't get a choice even if they "had " to choose. Damian was already soon of the Bat and he was already raised a ninja, groomed to be heir of both. Selwyn the son of a merlin who since his birth was groomed to become the Kingsmage, who as a child got sent to live with this Family and tasked to protect A community of die/loose his humanity.

-Both have deep trauma and self-loathing.

Like, Damian feels the guilt over the deaths on his shoulders fron when he was a child assasin, thats very deep guilt, mixed with his families treatment him,(not all bad but they could do better), he has very self sacrificial tendencies seeing himself as expendable and preferring others lifes over his own (In a very concerning level of suicidal ideation).

Sel has a similar deal, he deals with a lot of pain and grief from how he treated Bree to his mother abandoning him mixed with the regents and legenborns abuse of him, that and he feeks pain and doesnt show it and he makes choices and sacrifices himself especially due to that guilt.

-Both got them mommy issues

We dont know that much about Sels mother apart from that she can resist turning and she was friends with brees mother, we have few glimpses of her but thats it. We know this, Sel feels deep grief and pain over loosing her, he also is upset that she didn't come back for him, and angry on her behalf cause he can and cant justify her actions.

we have more information about damians mom and we know she loved him and its mutual, but Damian did get dropped off at his father after years, they didnt even meet until certain age for Damian, Damian was also trained since birth and he loves his mom, he cant condone her actions, he cant justify them and it pains him because its still his mom.

-They both are Dry humoured Emotionally constipated Teenager emos.

BOTH their characters are very angsty and dramatic but have a sense of dry humour and comedy.

Like Sometimes its cruel due to being defensive and sometimes its funny saracasm or something just makes them so done. Like Sel after bree told him to say something and he did exactly that, or the jokes they have,same with damian, Like the joke about the crowbar to jason in robin 2021, there he was defensive and trying to get the rise out of someone but it was dry cruel humour, very funny and also their humour is a mix of angst and "Try me bitch" so they will say espontaneous shit thats funny or obvious sarcasm mixed with the joke of "I need therapy" Because thats their mindset (And no Damian wayne is not the feral eight year old brat that cant ever laugh that some people think he is,he is a teenager and has developed well through the comics)

-They are self aware as fuck and idiots.

They can probably go on and say the most concerning shit about their childhood like being raised as an assasin or taken as a child. Selwyn joked about trying to help bree when she needs Just a much therapy than him or even more, and then he jokes saying no one needs more therapy than him, and then theres damian talking/Thinking about his childhood and sometimes realizing how messed up it was, or how it upset him to do certain things.

-They both are dramtic as shit and speak with a fancy air.

Like holy shit (I do too but i read too much) the calling people Full names or fancy titles miced with spite, or the way they speak bejng all "Thine thou shant" dramatic, or how damian Would give a speech to jason to electrocute him dramatically or Sel just being sel edgy.

Anyways theres a lot of similarities and differences but this characters are literally same.

He sacrificed a few people and when his boyfriend found out he said he did it for “gay rights” (it’s kinda coverup to make himself look good) and he wants to destroy the universe. His boyfriend Kenneth absolutely being distraught about this fact broke up with him and decided to “fix” him with the ✨power of friendship ✨but that only resulting in one night stands with him or one of his friend is dying. eventually Kenneth dies from ingesting a potion which is somewhat curse so John goes why the hell not, retrieves his corpse from a morgue and preserves his body in a glass case, like any good boyfriend.

he is also have deer motif, and most of his right hand men/ plane travelers have prey symbolism

Hi. I've talked about it in the past and I have written posts for every single one of his alters as of today, but this is just a PSA as a reminder that if people are getting confused when I talk about Kumo's different names like different people that's because to him they are.

Kumo has Dissociative Identity Disorder.

So his alters are as follows:

Valkoinen Pilvi; The True King

Snow Cloud; The Gentle Son

Seejvariil; The Lost Moon

Makenshi; The Demon Swordsman

Little Cloud; The Captive Cloud

The Lamb; The Sacrificial Savior 

White Cloud; The Holy Avenger

Kumo; The Free Spirit

To Kumo these are all different people and he is not aware that he has this or is even doing this. His switches are not planned (by him or me) and they are not deliberate (by him or me). This is not a condition he is even aware that he has. His alters are all very different while having overlapping things here and there. His alters will also answer to each other's names but White Cloud is still not Pilvi and Pilvi is still not White Cloud.

I will not tell you when he switches. I will not make it blatant and it is supposed to be hard to tell the difference between them and see the switches but every single one of them has their own ticks and set of rules that only they do and no one else does.

There is nothing wrong with him. He is not broken. He has a medical condition and he needs some help and some therapy and assistance from his doctor. Please just love him as he is.

However the alters all view each other very differently and they look the same at the same time they don't to each other. They also have heavy opinions about each other. This is why I said you can address him in asks.

Opinion examples being: White Cloud fucking loathes Makenshi's existence. (Seriously, he's gone off about it in an ask before.)

I'm bringing this up because there are eight very different clouds that can interact with your muse and I can probably tell who your muse as met if we've been RPing for more than 1 thread. I don't control his switches but I've gotten better at noticing it when he does it, but this is another reason why he never ever names himself in my writing unless he is giving his name.

Example being that the writing never sounds like "and white cloud shifted his weight as his arms crossed." No it's "the swordsman shifted - " / "the prince shifted" / "the unlimited shifted -" / "the misterican shifted." He never ever ever ever ever names himself.

When I get my doodle done you'll see what I mean by the alters all see each other differently but for now, have this.

i've always known he and teru are kind of alike in more ways than just being popular boy duo and their obsession with psychic powers and growing up earlier than they should have and etc but the one i'm thinking most about right now is how they're like. the type of traumatized that tries so fucking hard to excuse/justify the stuff they went through. teru would never admit he's ever gone through anything slightly traumatizing. he's like "[has not heard the voice of his father nor felt the touch of his mother for years] [is going through a life threatening situation] this is just part of my character arc guys dont worry! it will make me stronger :)". while ritsu would be like "well yes but i turned out great actually. [shows you a collection of trophies] do you think i'd have these if i grew up without a scar on my head and expectations on my shoulders🙄". they'd also both go "Well It Got Me Places!" and then proceed to make up every possible excuse to explain how it was actually their fault and they deserved it and it was not really that bad and (do you see the vision)

one of my favorite things about mp100 is the fact that every character can parallel every other character in so many different ways, and ritsu and teru in particular make my brain fucking rattle around like a can of bees. teru absolutely tries to justify everything as part of his Character Arc™️ like he spent so long thinking of himself as the protagonist of this world so whenever something traumatic happens, he's like "this is just part of my tragic backstory, I'll be fine :)" <- desperately needs therapy

meanwhile I think ritsu is like. maybe one of the more self aware of the kids? which is a low fucking bar, but considering he is a) thirteen, and b) extremely traumatized, he actually demonstrates a surprising amount of emotional intelligence. he's usually able to put his feelings into words (though usually just in his internal monologue), he was able to identify the guilt he was feeling during the cleanup arc and explain why he was acting the way he was, he's fully aware both he and his brother are traumatized (best demonstrated by the confession arc confrontation). so I think he's decently self aware, but with the caveat that he is in fact only thirteen and makes stupid decisions.

the thing that really gets me about his relationship to his trauma though is that post I saw about how he's internalized his role as the sacrificial lamb to provoke his brother into action. he knows the best way to get mob to act is to be endangered somehow, no matter how much that brushes against both their traumas. it's why the moment before his 100% is so important! he's breaking that cycle of trauma! he knows it's not getting them anywhere!

What I love about Fredick in this episode is I piss myself laughing whenever I watch that scene of him and Will discrediting Dolarhyde and Raul's face-acting when Francis is crawling towards him makes me cackle, because I've got a warped sense of humour. But right at the end, despite Fredick being, well, a dick, I do kind of feel bad for him. But the fact he didn't realize he was being used is a testament to just how stupid our boy Fredick is. Side-note, that was REALLY cool makeup!

Adaptation-wise it was a really cool twist because in the book it's Freddy Lounds but because that character's been genderswapped in this show and Bryan didn't want to put his Freddie in that kind of situation, which does have sexual undertones (remember Bryan had a very strict "no rape storylines" policy which is greatly appreciated), he was like "...well let's use our other Fred!"

Orchard is the ~evil~ earth 3/B3 version of Citrus, my first DC self insert back in 2021.

Or well. He used to be anyway.

See in TBATB the main relationship I wanted him to mirror was Citrus and Red Tornado - so where Red helped Citrus grow as a person and they both balance each other very well, Silver Cyclone destroyed Orchard mentally and he fucked off of Earth to take his anger and frustration on innocent aliens out there. Or something.

Frankly I do Not know how to develop Orchards story in TBATB because there's not much to work with him to begin with - he's Gone from Earth, it doesn't matter. Him and Citrus never meet and Silver is gone from his universe anyways.

But in the DCAU, the like. Main guy that helps Citrus out and is a foil to his backstory is J'onn - but they're like, Friends. They might grow into something other in the future but for now their relationship is awkward but platonic.

And there Is an earth 3 version of j'onn out there. From that shit movie I'll never finish because amatonormativity wants me dead (crisis on two earths from 2010). I thought it'd be funny for him and Orchard to be deeply romantically involved (with Orchard wanting to help Him instead of the other way around).

The only problem is, he's Dead! Like Dead, dead. And in my twisted heart, Orchard was there for the whole thing. It left him emotionally scarred - AND physically scarred but that's another funny foil we'll save for later. So I made him tragic on accident Woops!

He's in earth 1 because he couldn't fucking take it anymore. Your team killing your fiancee in front of you is just too much for someone to remain sane about. He holds no grudges against this universes versions of the people who betrayed him (like lex luthor for instance) (bc i don't remember what other heroes are alive in that movie LOL)

Orchard is so sad, and so alone. He's very self sacrificial but hates accepting help. He's kinder and more melancholic than any teammates he works with, and he knows this - they don't deserve his effort, but he doesn't care. He wants to feel useful again.

So like yes he's technically on the Wrong Side, but he's not irrationally angry and vengeful anymore. He just needs friends and therapy Bad. He hates Citrus out of jealousy and morals alone.

Copperhead and Orchard are huge, shiny foils for Citrus and J'onn because they both involve a sad, lonely green alien who have (almost) no one else to confide in, and a fucking freak whos killed for fun before 💞

yeah! I need to get ready for work and I could write an entire essay about...truly, any character, but the fundamental nature of D&D (and therefore actual play as a medium) is first that these are extraordinary people in extraordinary circumstances and expecting them to have calm Pro and Con list 21st century Twitter Therapy Speak reactions is fucking bananas. (frankly expecting any character in any story to do this is fucking bananas unless it's a satire of people who expect this, but that's another discussion) The second is that D&D is extremely about power, and about the characters growing in their power and their agency. Player agency is the TTRPG buzzword, and yet when players are indicated to have had their characters use that agency to have done something less than...well, 21st century Twitter Therapy Speak approved everyone goes up in arms.

One of my favorite story themes is "you are partly responsible for your own problems" both because it's immensely true to life and because I find it honestly more comforting than "you are entirely powerless and could not do anything about the things that happened to you." My favorite characters for the most part engage with this heavily (and to be clear I'm talking about adulthood actions and clinging to trauma responses and self-pity that no longer serve them, not childhood trauma itself), and it is unbelievably frustrating that so frequently there's a not-inconsiderate fandom response of "um actually they are the sacrificial lamb with the whitest fleece who never did anything wrong ever and were merely buffeted about by powers that manipulated them?" Like ok, well then they're really boring I guess, time to move to someone who actually takes chances makes mistakes and gets messy.

I could talk about Steel forever bc I love her and she's fascinating and complex but while all those thoughts about what she means within the worldbuilding and the story and to Suvi and during the children's adventure and within the Empire are important I really do think in the end I'm like. some of you just want all parents to be evil, and not just evil, but evil in a very easily written-off way that requires no thought or understanding of why they might be that way [which does not mean their behavior is justified, simply understandable] and I think that is very boring and dumb of you.
