I'm gonna start my Inanimate Insanity watch trough tomorrow night! :D

Gonna lay some ground rules for live blogging it for those who want to follow along with me :3

-Please don't spoil it for me. While for the most part this is a rewatch, I haven't seen most of it past Season 2 episode 10 and a few Invitational episodes.

-I'll be watching very few episodes a night. This isn't a binge, this is a full watch through for me to comprehend it.(Maybe around 2-3 a night, more if they're shorter.)

-I'll be using a custom tag for this so I don't clog up the Inanimate Insanity tag(will be said in the tags)

-I'm not gonna refrain from being silly or negative or positive in any capacity.

-Feel free to join me and comment or use the tag or DM me! I enjoy watching with company :3

-Don't bully me for my opinions. Thats mean.

-The reason I'm doing this is because I didn't really enjoy it in the first go around, so I gave it a few years and am giving it another chance. Please keep this in mind.

so it's my birthday today!!! 😎 i'm 23 years old, and i've had this blog for almost 3 years now, so i thought now is as good a time as any to celebrate!

btw one of the things i want to do when i really rap up atbb for real is spontaneously get the energy at will to do actual updated fullbodies of the main 4 since now i actually have the ability to draw them the way they look in my head & have the skills to put some more variety in their shapes. basically i wanna

#warning big character design rambling in these tags but like. were u expecting any less #if ur wondering what changed-#first of all everybody has bigger hands bc i'm actively deciding to commit to that decision because i like it :3 #next russ is a bit taller . i'll probably change some other things like making his armor look more solid & making him look more frail #-without it but i dont wanna pick up my tablet rn so thats all i feel like editing with my mouse lmao #edge has the biggest changes mostly in just being Wider. i want to make him Look stronger yknow #currently its just one of those annoying “skinny anime girl actually has 2d spraypainted abs and can lift a truck” tropes that i Hate #its a lil too many triangles when he should really be more like a triangle-flavored square. yknow #that being said the weirdly feminine hips were not intentional but only time will tell if they make it into the actual final design or not #i will not be making his pauldrons wider than they were originally. those things are already wacking everything around him they're fine #fluff's change is just being a bit skinnier so he looks more pathetic and sad. probably gonna try to make him look a bit younger too #but age is hard to represent with skeletons from The Land Of Sharp Features #i might also change up his pants/shoes more idk. Baggy Everything makes a very difficult silhouette and the boots are just boring tbhh #they're the bi flag but i dont think a single person has ever noticed lmao #and stretch's biggest change is that he's going to Have A Fullbody Reference That Isn't From 2019 #probably make his hoodie longer/looser so i can make the transition to the leggings less awkward & show off his tank under it a bit more #the leggings & sneakers get to stay tho i think. the red wraps the design up well & the chicken legs are funny to me :>#and karma isn't here but he'll probably also get an update to be more square as well. and NOT SKINNYYYYYY #i gotta cram some more emotional repression & inferiority complex hints into his outfit so his post-void look contrasts more its IMPORTANT #AND ALSO NEVER USE UNDERTALE SPRITES AS A REFERENCE FOR ARMOR EVER EVER EVER AGAIN #that being said im really excited to one day finally sit down and draw his post-void design i think i'll have fun with that one #theres a reason my sf bros dont really fit their “roles” in the au yet like undyne & alphys do. hehehe #basically to sum up all these tags: becoming more skilled at art is a curse because you KNOW you can do things better now

#image commentary in tags once again since they don't allow captions anymore and I feel weird using the alt text for that --#1. PIBBINS.... cheering clapping hooting hollering glorious applause everytime I see a pigeon in public #2. Birthday card that I drew for someone. .. kittys...#3. 2023's annual haul of tiny white pumpkins.. i get at least one white pumpkin every year around fall when they have pumpkins in stores #because I just love the color and texture ... bright white and smooth and cold and round.. kind of like a volleyball or something #4. I was sick and watched like 2 seasons of this and then thought it was too #uninteresting and obnoxious to continue (more like 1 and a half since I skipped the rest of one once only boring people were left) BUT this #one guy had a very mischevious looking face and he also said a few things (like the above captioned speech) that sounded like dialogue #some fantasy character would say.. so I took a screencap of him and edited him into a mischevious wizard i guess.?? idk I was sick lol #~your little friend has a poisoned tongue~ is just a very unexpectedly serious sounding wording for some random normal #frat dude looking guy to say while casually chatting on a reality tv show in like 2008 or whenever that was filmed lol #5. FLUFFY CLOVERS!! I'd never seen them be furry and soft before?? inchresting..#6. Noodle sitting in bed with the cat figurines looming above him... the council of kittys...#7. #haunted ecosystem #haunted bookshelf #i might make a tag for these footnote posts? i think its a fun way to document what ive written about without sharing All of it #also yes thats a random crack au that i've have in the back of my head for a bit what about it #i dont think its canon in the slightest its just a funny little thing in my head for writing random bs #honestly i might start trying to work on more wtds stuff. this is kind of a perfect excuse #also! i think how i might work this is that if i work on a larger project during the day then i'll just do the daily prompt #since its a good exercise and an excuse to keep some kind of writing streak going #i actually asked one of my partners for a prompt since i was struggling to find an interesting one #ended up with 'last man standing' for spoke... very fitting tbh #i might write a more canon take for that. the concept i wrote down was much more set in an au than anything since i was also thinking #about asomatous zam at the same time so i kind of just incorparated both of them into it with it being paracosm-era #OH did i ever mention that i have a general title plan for the other parts of that kind of. world #its very set in stone that if i do write more it'll be two more parts #metamorphosis (5 part) and paracosm (1 part with multiple scenes. functionally 3 part maybe?)#asomatous goes in the middle of that. i need to kind of plan all of them out better and see how it wants to flow #metamorphosis was started as a concept because i had a few bad things happen bingo prompts i wanted to be used for asomatous #but didnt end up using. so metamorphosis is my excuse for that. paracosm is just a Concept thats been really plaguing me basically since i #originally wrote asomatous... i should probably come up with a temporary series title. i think something about shattering skies?#its a reoccurring theme and symbol throughout all of them....... i just think its neat #ANYWAYS goodnight to you especially if you actually read through all my tags :)
