lucifer: detective show abt lucifer abandoning his rule of hell to buy a nightclub and beginning to solve murders w the lapd. lucifer is canonically bi/pan, as is his demon pal mazikeen, but queerness rly isnt a focus of the show its more casual rep - that being said its a good show overall, if a little predictable now n then (s1-3 on amazon prime, 4+5 on netflix)

kipo and the age of wonderbeasts: fantasy cartoon set in a future filled w mutant intelligent animals, kipo finds herself lost and has to get home w the help of her friends. canon gay character as one of the mains, canon nb side character - its a rly good cartoon! lots of fun, excellent soundtrack, and the main characters are all poc which is rly nice to see

the dragon prince: cartoon abt two princes and an elf assassin returning a dragon egg to its mother. canon mlm couple, several canon wlw characters, canon nb character - i havent seen the show myself but ive heard very good things abt it!

i am not okay with this: netflix show abt a teen girl discovering she has superpowers and hating it. protag is canon wlw (i THINK shes a lesbian but i havent watched it in a hot sec), developing wlw relationship - ianowt slaps! sad that s2 got cancelled but s1 is real good its a touch spooky and theres a bit of gore/blood so watch out lol

schitt's creek: sitcom abt a rich family who lose all their money and have to move into the motel of a town they bought as a joke. canon pansexual character and canon gay character w one of the sweetest mlm relationships - a rly good witty show w excellent character development for every character!

good omens: show abt a demon and an angel trying to stop the end of the world. every celestial character in it is nonbinary, + crowley and aziraphale have a nonexplicit (ie no on screen pda lol) romance - good omens is such a good queer show none of the characters care abt gender in the slightest lmao, plus the show in general is fantastic (the book is also very good)

the old guard: a group of immortals fight an organisation that wants to capitalise off their immortality. canon mlm couple - another one i havent seen yet (i will!) but apparently very good

it chapter 2: horror sequel to It, w the main characters returning to derry to defeat pennywise for good. canon gay character in unrequited love - i only say chapter 2 because his queerness isnt referenced at all in the first film, again its big horror and theres no gay romance just gay tragedy but its a good film

love, simon: romcom about a closeted gay teen falling in love w someone over emails. do i even need to state the rep? - honestly if u haven't seen love simon yet what are you even DOING its so good proper fluffy queer romcom, the book (simon vs the homosapiens agenda) is also really good!! so is the sequel (leah on the offbeat) where the protag is a bi girl + it focuses on a wlw romance

the way he looks: brazilian coming of age film abt a blind teen boy falling for the new kid at his school. canon mlm relationship - this doesnt seem to be on (british) netflix anymore so idk where youd find it with subtitles but i rmr liking it a lot!

night in the woods: 2d platformer abt a young woman (well. cat) dropping out of college and coming home to live w her parents + discovering spooky happenings in her hometown. canon mlm couple and i believe the protag is canonically bi? - i will recommend nitw to literally anyone who will listen its one of my all time favourite games, deals w a lot of mental health issues and its absolutely gorgeous w a brilliant soundtrack and rly good dialogue thats witty and serious and realistic (its on steam + switch for sure dk abt other platforms, abt 15 quid i think?)

I LOVE HER SO MUCH she has a great design!!! her costume slaps, and i love how she's Dino-Sour's sister, and how her design is influenced by dinosaurs too (like her pointy tooth and her pterodactyl pet). Sharp and eccentric and just so COOL (her trial design is gr8 too)

ok so I can't play her story so i don't know which cookie's shes interacted with, meaning i dont really ship her with anyone except bonbon - I love how in Bonbon's story they both start out on opposing sides, but slowly learn about each other and their ways of looking at fashion/life in general, coming to appreciate each others' strengths, and even spending time to bond with each other over coffee! And they're gonna be designing outfits for each other its SO CUTE TwT

Definitely not a ship thing but if we're talking about character dynamics SOUR BELT AND HER BROTHER!!! TIME TO RAMBLE OK SO when she was a kid she used to be kinda self-conscious about her jagged teeth (after seeing fashion models with perfect smiles) and she thought about getting them fixed for a time, but her brother was like NO we have dinosaur teeth which is unique and epic and sis you don't need to change to fit in when that'll just make you unhappy!! and that talk set her on the path to create fashion thats unconventional but would still help people feel comfortable in their own skin <3

ok ive been thinking about this for hours now and its keeping me from doing my dumb homework SO

ive been thinkin about todoiideku as one does and i keep trying to figure out who would fall for who first and who would be the first to realize theyre crushing on the others (because lets be real those things do Naught always go hand-in-hand)

so ive been thinking abt it and i think midoriya would get to the point of crushing on the others first because that boy just loves so intensely but also because of the fact that he loves so intensely, i dont think hed notice when the feelings took a dip into a more romantic nature so he's probably just “iida and todoroki are so strong and smart and brave......theyre gonna be great heroes im glad they can inspire me whilst also being my friends!!!!!”

iida is up next to start crushing but he probably has a similar problem to midoriya where he confuses the feelings for admiration for a while (cause like,,,,during the sports festival iida LITERALLY says ‘’i think youre a great hero and person which is why i wanna challenge you so i can better myself’’ to midoriya and then when they do the swimming thing/””endurance training”” where iida tells midoriya its funny how they became so close like. and then after the stain arc when todoroki is talking to iida and breaks thro to him abt how he and midoriya arent gonna leave him and he understands whats its like to have a narrow-minded mindset but iida cant let it take over his life to the point where it hurts him?? i cant remember if he says anything for sure in canon but theres no way iida doesnt look up to todoroki after that like bruh)

and then finally todoroki would be the last to have like actual romantic feelings for them cause we all know hes got walls protecting his walls when it comes to feelings (im gonna kill endevore) but eventually iida and midoriya’s kindness and determination and thoughtfulness will get through to him

however while hes the last to actually get romantic feelings, todoroki is the first to realize he has them bc hes exactly the type to notice when things change even the slightest bit (probably because growing up in an abusive household means you need to get a read for those things. again im gonna kill ende-) so when theres this tiny little shift in their dynamic and when todoroki realizes that how they make him feel has gotten a little more intense, hes immediately like “oh shit. oh fuck.”

since i sincerely doubt todoroki has had a crush before he probably tries to be subtle but completely fails and yaoyorozu ends up swooping in to save his disaster gay ass in an act of wlw/mlm solidarity

iida would be the next to realize im thinking bc even tho he has a similar problem to midoriya he doesnt love as intensely as generally as midoriya does so when he notices just How intense his admiration for todoroki and midoriya is, he’d probably realize “hmm.....thats probably more than admiration”

iida is (surprisingly i know) a disaster gay and he puts his entire foot in his mouth every time he tries to act normal around them from that point on poor guy. he calls tensei abt it one night in the mdist of a gay crisis and tensei helps him chill the fuck out thank u tensei

anyway midoriya still probably wouldnt realize until literally everyone else besides him has noticed his crush and they all slowly spell it out for him because “holy shit is he seriously unaware” anyway so midoriya is like “whys everyone being weird about me talking about how i wanna get my shoot style closer to iida’s moves like iida is so strong and determined and hes worked with his legs longer than i have so obviously he would know more than me abt tips and tricks....hes so smart and fast.....and strong.......and cool......and kind......and patient......uHHH ok well why are people being weird abt me talking about how happy i am that todoroki has opened up to us in the past year like it shows how brave he is and hes really shown off how kind and caring he is and how hard he tries in both socializing and hero work and academics and hes just so cool even when he doesnt have the emotionally distant exterior and hes so sweet and pateint and lets me ramble and.....oh shit”

since midoriya is the KING of disaster bi’s he immediately breaks something when he realizes because oof rush of feelings rush of feelings uh oh uh oh. so he goes to uraraka because “hey she recently got together with tsu yaoyorozu and jiro she probably knows a thing or two about crushes on multiple people” so he BRAGES into her fucking room and is like “URARAKA IM HAVING A CRISIS PLEASE HELP ME” to which she responds “oh fucking finally”

anyway idk how the confession scene would go but i think it would involve midoriya maiming his got damn self again and todoroki and iida being so stressed about that that they blurt out feelings it would probably be very messy but in the end sweet and i feel like their attitude abt it at least in the beginning is “this is special and lovely so lets just not put any label on it for now and just see how it goes” before eventually they all proudly say “yup these are my bfs i love them with my whole heart” (and eventually eventually “yup these are my husbands i love them with my whole heart hhhh)

anyway yeah i was just thinking about todoiideku because i dont think ive ever loved an ot3 ship so much before and im just soft i want my three favorite boys to be happy and so ive just been intensely picking at the dynamics and considering “who would be the poor fucker who pines for the longest” and that has lead to this

anons often like to pick on people who move ocs (expecially female ones) bc tumblr culture led them to believe that every female oc is a mary sue. male ocs are p okay because of fanservice, but what about female ocs? if theyre nerdy then theyre too nerdy. if theyre slutty theyre too slutty, if they dont have sex theyre frigid and if they have a lot of sex theyre sluts and the mun only moves it for ~hte smut~ and they have no personality (no matter how developed they are). theyre pretty?? wow they must be a slut. theyre ugly to them? wow theyre ugly!!! that oc is not interesting at all yuck!!!

heres my pratical guide of the situations we deal with, and a few advices to the anons:

- nobody really cares if you dont like an oc and dont provide constructive criticism. they could be OP, they could be literally the worst, but if you click that lil anon button just to tell a mun ''YOUR OC SUCKS I HATE IT!!!! NOBODY WILL RP WITH YOU!!!!! EWWW!!!!'' you're gross and need to fucking chill. if you instead are just shy and click anon to send the mun a very detailed messages explaining the flaws in their ocs, they will not only appreciate it and take notes, but you will get to enjoy a slighty different portrayal that you might enjoy too! constructive criticism is great -- and not ''if i dont insult the oc it isnt anon hate!!!!!'', literally just phrase it in the best way you can, because if you're a rude piece of poopoo not only the mun will just roll their eyes, but also DELETE it. have fun spending the night in front of your pc grinning malefically, they have deleted it. whoops your anon hate made no impact on their self-esteem, nor their oc is gone. mun 1 - anon 0.

- if youre an ex rp partner that has been cut out, instead of sending hateful messages because your ass is feeling overly salty, try communicating like a proper, civilized person! aka try to clear shit up with your ex partner, see if giving it a second shot is worth it, and if not -- accept it. there's no point in pursuing something if its not gonna bear fruits. also: give a good look at your behavior and what you might have possibly fucked up, because we're all humans and everyone makes mistakes. unless youre a narc (which is impossibilitated to see anything wrong with what theyre doing or did, and in this case stay tf away from them thanks thats gross. narcs are gross) or youve been subjected to an unfair cut off. but either way: chill. eat chipotle. go around. avoid hateful stuff.

- i dont think that most anons or people understand that we're not... putting on a show for them? we move our ocs the way we want and to have fun, not to give them an episode of a soap opera. the portrayal doesnt satisty you? provide constructive criticism, or unfollow directly. what's the point in wasting energies and precious time you could spend elsewhere by throwing insults if stuff doesn't go your way? i doubt that any anon here is around 3 yrs old or something. we wanna do a particular thread, we're gonna do that thread. we want to move this oc that or this way? here we go nyooom! manipulative personality showing? yup we do. and no criticism is gonna move us to do something else, unless you provide a good reason of why we shouldn't. we dont WORK for your entertainment, but for OURS alone. if you want to see an oc move exactly as you like, then MAKE ONE, and experience other anons send hate to you too! karma at its finest.

EVERY OC is amazing and likeable and loveable: villains, good guys, clumsy ones, slutty ones, tall ones, small ones, young and old and middle aged and everything thats in the pot. evil ones are enjoyable, good ones are, grey-morally oriented? awesome!!! you MADE them and this already makes them great. and if someone doesn't give you criticism and tells you what you can improve, then ignore them and keep writing your baby. you're doing a good job.

you wanna rewrite something? wanna delete some part of their backgrounds and replace it with something else? wanna remake them? wanna revamp, retconnect, edit? wanna give them a different look? wanna make them have sex, or be chast? wanna give them loads of piercings or have them clean? acne? tails? cat ears? unusual color of eyes/hair/pubic hair etc? YOU CAN. you're moving this creature, and its just you and a phone/pc in your hands, and the paper you can draw on in front of you. its not you AND the hateful, bad anons. it's YOU and YOUR CREATIVITY.

for last, a special note to every anon who spent some time to write us long paragraphs in our asks about how we could have improved a character instead of sending insults: you're absolutely precious and we love you a lot. please never change and keep giving us stuff to work on and to correct so we can improve and be optimal while having fun. thats the key point: having fun, and some grey asshole clicking anon because their identity being found would make them cower in fear because of the HUGE backlash that could happen to them don't count.
