im. obsessed w the fact that alastor fell in love w sonata of his own accord. like she uses her siren powers on EVERYONE. she literally cant turn them off, only make them more intense! yet the only person who has ever truly loved her (even counting when she was alive!!) is the ONE SINGULAR PERSON her powers dont work on.

she mentioned it to him that she tried it on him a couple times & just assumed he couldnt love anyone & thats why it doesnt work & rather than be like. mad at her. his whole Internal Monologue™ was just like "his heart was absolutely breaking at the idea she thought she even had to resort to that to earn his love" LIKE HELLO
