Once I have access to my copies of mistborn era 2 again I am going to have some data collection time. Time line wise is just AHHHHHHH

A decade on Roshar is 70-80 years on Scandrial currently???? and the time difference between mistborn era 2 and 3 is coincidentally about 80 years so that's interesting

we know mistborn era 2 takes place in the decade gap between stormlight 5 and 6 (I think) and I had assumed before the whole time bubble thingy that it would be like

stormlight 5 - year 1

mistborn 4-6 - year 2

(6 year gap)

mistborn 7 - year 8

Lost metal MeLaan epilogue - year 9.5

Lost Metal statue epilogue -year 10

AND IT'S NOT. We got a cadmium esk time weirdness going on with Roshar essentially traveling into the future (hey that reminds me of something Design said in Yumi) So mistborn era 2 is on the beginning of that decade and mistborn era 3 is at the end/ right after.

one of my big wonders is how long on roshar it is before the Melaan epilogue. The Iriali have already arrived/ arrived recently in Scandrial by the Lost Metal. so it seems like Sig's part of the last chapter of Wind and Truth has already happened before mistborn 7 (as he talks about the Iriali migration). So months and months on roshar as Shallan describes (right before the sig bit) are less than 6 Scandrial years.

Hoid also isn't Wax's carriage driver till Shadows of Self I think, but that's not long after Alloy of Law- and I think his getting the job is Scandrial weeks after Wind and Truth. which we still don't quite know how long that is in roshar time.

i need to make a time line

after finishing wind and truth, the lost metal is kinda fucking wild in retrospect right. what’s the timeline here. when shallan’s talking to kell he says it’s been months for her but years for him (and the rest of the cosmere). does that mean all of era 2 happened in that time?? sounds like it from what he described??

is that why twinsoul described iyatil as running amok on roshar? did they just go months or Years without clear correspondence from any rosharan ghostbloods and didn’t confirm iyatil was dead until shallan mentioned that?? and she’d been dead for Years??????

like okay i need Exact numbers on the time dilation nonsense STAT. right after it starts ulaam implies hours on roshar = weeks on scadrial. even though its balancing out that’s fuckin Crazy.
